I purchased my 2012 Toyota Rav4 in October 2016 fromBob Rohrman Lexus of Arlington locationThis happened today July 29, 2020First let me state that I took out the best package available (Luxury Package) in October 2016 and never had to use the warranty until recently. Bottom line, they did not honor the contract and paid NOTHING on a $2700 bill.I took my vehicle in to the Schaumburg Toyota Dealership on July 1, 2020 for servicing. I thought I had my warranty in the glove compartment, but it wasnt there. When I got home (same day, 2 hrs later), I contacted my service person assigned to me to let him know I had a warranty. He stated he did not want to contact this company to use the warranty as they dont pay. He also stated that the work had already started (about 2 hours after I left the dealership) and it was too late to use the warranty. This is not acceptable...what is the purpose of paying good money for a warranty if it cant be used due to a ridiculous technicality? The warranty was purchased at Lexus of Arlington and per our contract letter, it was in the system. I paid the bill after the work was completed and contacted AAGI by phone to submit the invoices to at least have a partial reimbursement on the work completed. The rep instructed me to fax the information explaining what happened at the dealership. They rejected payment because the dealership did not contact them.So Bottom line I paid almost $2000 for this luxury package that we could not use, after paying a $2700 repair bill to Toyota. Not happy with Lexus of Arlington selling me top of the line Warranty Contract from a less than honorable company. Would never buy a car/truck etc..from Bob Rohrman again.NOT HAPPY... WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS WARRANTY COMPANY!!! BEWARE!! WE HAD TO LEARN THE HARD WAY!E. Trippi
