Great staff! I stopped in for a simple part replacement and Joe went above and beyond to help me out. He instantly looked up the part I needed, walked me right to where it was in the store and even provided excellent assistance walking me through the replacement process. I cannot stress how appreciative I was for all of Joes help. Great customer service really goes a long way and I will definitely be coming back!

I called on the phone today and talked to Mark from Auto zone. I called in looking for a hand tool and they did not have what I needed. However Mark used his expertise to direct me in the right direction. He saw that they had the item I needed at another local store. Mark then proceeded to ask me more about the issue I was trying to resolve. Mark did a great job at providing a good sales experience. If you are stopping by Auto Zone make sure you talk to Mark.Also Demarcus is another great young man who works over at Auto Zone. I called back later in the same day. Trying to remember the last time I had that great of customer service!!! The two employees that were there were amazing! I walked in and they were right there to help and were honest. My battery terminal was loose and one of the gentleman helped me put a shim on it! He also offered to put my wipers on. Serious keepers and I know to come here if I need anything!

I was told the belt tensioner, BT38, for my 96 F250 with a 7.5L was in stock but when I arrived and compared my existing part to the part being sold by AutoZone it was completely different. I am thoroughly annoyed they wasted my time. They Failed to get me back on the road hassle-free.

I have driven out of my way two times to visit Auto Zone in Arlington Heights. Both times I have needed a new headlight for my Honda Accord and after making my purchase Matt has kindly offered to put them in for me. I offered to tip him and he simply said, that is what we get paid for Sir, enjoy your night. The customer service here is outstanding and Matt is first class. Thank you.

I stopped in to shop for some automotive cleaning materials this morning, Saturday 9:00 am. I did not have a mask on however I did have my shirt pulled up over my nose and mouth (there were no customers in the store. Just 2 employees, both standing at the counter both wearing the inexpensive cloth medical masks) both more than 6 feet away from me. The employees refused to serve me without a mask on, even though having my shirt pulled over my face (which covers more than the inexpensive cloth medical masks they were wearing.)

This store is FILLED with really helpful associates that are super patient with me explaining what I need. Yesterday was no different when I called, a kind young man answered the phone & took his time with my question and eventually helped my husband when he made his way into store! We dont know much about cars but the employees here are always super informative!

What theyre with my 2013 sonata hit a back light out it was a pain to get it out it broke it was not because of what AutoZone did it was just rotted you guys spent this time and he helped me thank you very much again if youre reading this you know who Im talking about they also checked my battery Ive got nothing but good reviews at this AutoZone
After their own employee gave me the WRONG product for my particular car, the manager refused to refund my $30. You lost a regular customer over $30. Very angry, super disappointed, never going back. Theres far more competition out there.
I go to this arlington hts location quite often. I must say they are extremely friendly and extremely helpful. Dan and Marina have great customer service. They both are very welcoming and they are very knowledgeable and always have a wonderful smile on their faces. They treat you more like family than a customer.

I had thought I had a bad alternator but they rightfully pointed that it may have been a bad battery and it was. A+ service.

Good place to go for reasonably priced car parts - small and medium sized as far as I know, not sure about (sub)frame parts and other larger ones. However their prices are nice because they dont work on cars, so get your parts there and get the work done yourself, with someone you know or bring the part to a repair shop.

I wish I could give -10 stars for this location. Customer service is simply awful. I was looking for a specific part and was trying to explain how it could possibly be called and the sales person acted as if I was bothering him. He abruptly said “I have no idea what you are talking about”. How rude. You shouldn’t be working in customer service with this kind of attitude. The manager is obviously not doing his/her job properly, lack of training. Will never be back and use Pep Boys instead. Your loss, AutoZone.

Worst auto parts store ever. The people that work there are rude and unprofessional. Not to mention that their website product discriptions are totally miss leading. Was wanting to do a return and showed them my receipt from the online purchase and that I picked it up at that store and they would not refund the amount I paid because they would not accept the receipt from online ($30 difference).
