2 years ago When I needed a vehicle, they got me into one within 3 hours.. and I LOVE my car.About a month ago, my timing belt went out and I ended up needing a new engine and a cradle for said engine.. I was at a loss until Nate from their service department reached out to me! Nate helped me so much and did an above and beyond job of making sure my car was road-ready again. All of this happened while i was between jobs, i had already missed my warranty period, and I had no way of paying for a new engine outright for at least another 2 months. I prepared for the wait and hassle of begging friends for rides. BUT!! I got my baby back within the month because Nate worked hard to get me a reasonable/affordable loan! Jdbyrider and CNAC have earned my loyalty for as long as I am in Appleton.

J.D. Byrider is full of crooks and inept mechanics. They sell cars with issues and then turn around and tell you theyll fix it for a price and still never fix it. Theyre blatant snake oil sellers that will bleed you and your bank account for everything you got.

I feel that I know what is wrong with my vehicle and that two of the main thing should covered under my warranty. When I took the vehicle in to have it checked out I was told that there was nothing that needed to be fixed and that what I thought was wrong was something else. I feel that they are just trying to avoid having to cover the cost of what they should be covering.

My granddaughter was looking for a car. She has no credit and no cosigner. But byrider went over all her options and told her how to build her credit. What a bonus! They got her into a nice reliable van, just what she wanted. Even gave her a good trade in for her old van. The van comes with a warranty!

(Which NEVER happened before...Lol! 😂) Keshia apologized along with other staff members. I had an appointment this morning to get a front wheel bearing replaced. We were quoted no more than $200. I get a phone call saying that my 2007 vehicle with almost 200,000 miles needs a new belt, tires, rotors, pads, it goes on. I only went in for one thing, because it needs a special tool. Several times during this “up sell” talk I said that I only wanted the wheel bearing fixed. She then went on to say that the total was $1800 to fix everything and said suggested that since I only owe a little under $2000 (which I did not authorize anyone to look up my acct) that maybe I should just invest in a new car through them..um no! Also, as I keep saying that I only want the wheel bearing fixed, she says that I would insult the mechanics by not getting the belt fixed. Again, only went in for one thing!Anyways, I’m pretty mad now, and have decided to take my business elsewhere or just drive this vehicle until it dies. Of course that was after I was charged $51.70 for them to do nothing, but try to fix everything possible on a 13 year old vehicle with 200,000 miles on it and of course try to get me into another high priced, high mileage vehicle and a four year loan.Guess what? My wheel bearing still needs to be fixed. What a bunch of crooks!

Not recommending this business. Overall quality is poor. Service expectations are not met. Please stay away and car shop elsewhere.Displayed and advertised on a quality car is a scam. Youll waste your time and money here. Staff are not providing proper information, and lack the training thereof. Lucritive business to suck you into a car, had or has issues currently. Lowest staff training to do any particular job correctly, no regards to insure that everyone is doing a great job and done correctly the first time: this includes the machanics from the shop.Usually dont post anything negative about a business. This is a type of car dealership that doesnt sound like a good deal to sign any paperwork.Seek elsewhere.

Got my vehicle fixed they did a lot for a cheap price. Was able to drive it all the way home no issues. This was on a Thursday. The next day (Friday) it didnt want to start. Had to turn my key off and on about 7 times before it finally started. The following day (saturday) the check engine light that was cleared is now back on, it wants to stall out, dash lights flicker, radio turns off and on by itself, as well as the heater, and when I turn on my head lights it tries to die. All of the above

So to start off with I went into the JD Byrider in Appleton to hopefully get a newer cheaper vehicle than the one I already drive that isnt in my name but instead my exes name. The sales lady was fantastic even though I said there for 4+ hours. I filled out all the paperwork and brought every proof they needed to the dealership. I kept being told I might not be approved, and they gave me the references list and tax sheet to fill out. I was told that the references wouldnt be called unless there was a missed payment. Come to find out as I sat there they called every single one of them. I also was told the tax sheet was optional, and I didnt want to use my taxes as a down payment. They then came to me almost 2 hours later and told me I am not approved unless I have a paper trail for child support, or unless I used my taxes. I then told them no about the taxes again. She then came back and said I was approved with $100 down payment and showed me the cars I was eligible for. When I told her that I didnt feel like I could afford more than $325 a month because that is what I pay on the car I have now she talked to the manager Perry. They then asked me to come into the office, and explained the payments to me that the first few payments will be higher. Which I get die to fees applied, they said my first payment should be $425. So I test drove two vehicles and decided on a 2008 cobalt. The car I drive now is a 2014 focus. I sat there for another 1.5 hours waiting on the paperwork to sign, and come to find out that the payments are due every 2 weeks when we got closer to the end of the paperwork. They made me rate them before I was even able to close on the vehicle. So if I would have been honest then do you think they would have sold me the car? Probably not. Now I know anyone that has to go to a dealership like this probably doesnt have $225 to fork out every 2 weeks, especially if you pay rent, utilities, and are the sole income earner. This also makes my first like 6 payments $450 a month. That is $125 more than I told them I could afford. Needless to say by that time they already had the paperwork signed for the vehicle. I still havent taken it off the lot. I wish there was a way I could cancel the buying of this vehicle as the total amount for it is now $16,000+ due to interest. The focus I drive was $14,000 for a 2014. Its absolutely ridiculous. All over their ads and showroom it says if you cant budget for it we wont move forward, but theyll push you until you sign the paperwork even when you tell them no. Please think twice before going here.

Derrick was amazing. If it wasn’t for him and the finace guys I wouldn’t have left with a safe reliable vehicle. They made me feel good about the strugglesI may have had but I sure left on cloud nine in a new ride. Never thought it’d be possible with no money down, a old ride that had a title loan on but they made it work.

He is willing to do what he can, to work with my financial restraints, and helps me to understand what is going on under the hood. He is always very patient and tries to figure out the best plan of action, and what we can do. I have had a few problems with this car, but the service departments, prices, and respectful employees have made all the difference.
