Jacob in service is THE gold standard for customer service. Courteous, prompt, great sense of humor, professional, initiative, self-starter - I could go on with the accolades but you get the idea. Im not sure if the kind of customer service he offers at Hyundai can be bottled up. I am sure it comes from personal values and awareness of the positive impact that a single individual can have on others. In general, Hyundai has great all around service. I remember when I purchased my Tucson in 2018 from Charles - no pressure or sales pitch of any kind, just great service. Hyundai does sales and service right! Extra props to Jacob though - hes one of a kind awesome!
I have to say that the experience at Hyundai of Annapolis was probably the best weve had....ever! The General Manager Mike was amazing. As soon as I walked in, he greeted me cause he knew his sales staff was busy. He answered all my questions and then found me Paul, one of the nicest salesman you can find. Paul went above and beyond when answering any further questions I may have had. And, they gave us a very respectable amount for our trade-in. Joe, the finance guy wasnt pushy and was fun to deal with. Overall, the whole experience was by far the most painless car purchase weve ever made. This is our 3rd vehicle we bought from Annapolis. We have leased there twice before and had great experiences. However in our search for a new car we visited several dealerships before returning to Annapolis Hyundai. First of all, the Santa Fe is one of the best vehicles out there. The size, setup, overall look inside and out are phenomenal. But the service is even better. Everyone from the receptionist to the manager are awesome. We were greeted like family every time we entered the building by everyone, including staff members just passing by. Nate and Kevin are very nice, hilarious and very informative. They explained things in a way that was very easy to understand. They also listened and tried to give us what we wanted and needed. If they didnt have an answer, they found out, and got back to us quickly. When we got to Mary we were welcomed again by a friend of the family. She made signing papers quick, easy and most of all interesting. She also worked with us and explained things perfectly. We have great experiences every time we visit Annapolis Hyundai and we will definitely be back. We will also be sharing our experiences everywhere and with everyone.
I had a good experience buying my car, but thats where it stopped. Service dept is horrific. They never answer their phone. They never return messages. Theyve had my car for a week with almost zero communication. If you want a full service dealer that is a pleasure to work with across the board, skip these clowns.

The service that I got here was amazing! They play no games with vehicle pricing. (Some dealers throw in the advertised pricing all possible rebates to get you in the door. Not these guys.) Charley was my salesperson and was extremely professional. The finance person got me a better rate than my credit union. In summary, I got superb customer service, a good price, and great financing.

I was shopping for a lease on a vehicle that was not available in my home state and The Annapolis Hyundai team made the experience a breeze. While shopping around, I experienced all the negative tropes associated with car salespeople....Annapolis Hyundai was the beacon in this sea of old school tactics. They even offered to arrange for transportation from the airport to their dealership! My salesperson Rich gave no nonsense answers, Kevin in finance set me up with all lease numbers broken down exactly as I asked and the GM, Michael prepared all of my paperwork and set me up for a seamless out of state lease (he even recommended a streaming show that we are watching on the regular).The only negative is that they are 400 miles away...I can only imagine that the service team is also top notch and my local dealerships have some big shoes to fill.

Recently purchased a new vehicle from this location and we were overall happy with the experience. They are so much better than other local dealers that are super pushy and try and force you into something you dont want. Everyone is very nice for the most part. They will try and sell you all the extras including a bunch of warranties and overpriced paint protection but I assume that is unavoidable at any dealer. Overall would recommend!
Good experience for an out of state buying. Since EVs arent widely available in my state I was looking to buy in one where they are. They made the process easy with things like financing forms available online to minimize how much I needed to do once I got there.

This dealership is the best around!!! We really got an amazing deal and paid way less than the MSRP. Not only that the process was extremely easy. I have two little ones and Mike was able to work with me by getting all the paper work set up before I came in. They also worked on getting me the lowest rate for financing. We ended up getting the Palisades. It is a fantastic SUV with a ton of space and amazing features. I love that it rides like a luxury high end vehicle but didn’t come with the crazy price tag. This past week, I accompanied one of my good friends on her quest to find a car to lease. Paperwork and business communication are my strong suits, so she wanted me to tag along. After a long search, we ended up at Hyundai of Annapolis. The sales experience went as well as possible, given that my friend was nervous about her budget and about leasing for the first time. The sales rep, Shawn, was patient with her and took lots of time to discuss different vehicles and options. He was as honest and understanding as they come. If I could rate separately for Shawn, hed get a 5 star. In fact, he and his Sales Manager, Kevin, are the only reason this rating gets as high as 3.The low rating here is based majorly on our experience with the Finance representative, Mary. It took us three trips to the dealership yesterday (with four kids in tow for the last two trips) to finally make it into her office. When she came to the waiting room to start the signing process, she was carrying an iPad and was clearly bothered that we wanted to sit down in her office to take the time to read through the contract. As I mentioned previously, this was my friends first ever lease, and she wanted to make sure she wasnt signing her life away. After making into Marys office, there was little/no explanation about the process and she dove right into trying to sell my friend on lease add-ons. When my friend looked to me for advice, Mary asked in a snarky tone if I was her mother (her and I are the same age, and its pretty darn clear that I am not). We were both confused, but tried to move on with the process, politely. Throughout the rest of our time, though, Mary was dismissive of any of our questions and was clearly irritated right up until the very end. The eye-rolls and scoffs were numerous.Just to clarify here, we were not being problematic or asking anything out of the norm for a first time lessee. Our kids sat quietly in the waiting room except for one quick bathroom break, and didnt cause any commotion. It was late, since she kept pushing the appointment back, but it was her choice to take us. Im in customer service management and understand someone having a long day, but this was quite over-the-line. We still arent sure what it was about us that bugged her so greatly.If youre visiting this dealership, its probably best to make your appointments in advance, and request a different finance rep.
My vehicle has been in the shop for over 2 months to replace the transmission. I’ve contacted service several times, I’ve drove up several times to find out the statice of the vehicle. I’ve contacted the manager Mike & he says he’s going walk in the back and call right back. 2 hrs later nothing, I call back & get the answer machine. So the last time I checked with them they were trying to get it in the shop & I’m thinking if it’s been in the shop for over 2 months you’d think it would have a spot instead of being overlooked. Good customer service starts from the top and trickles down, It’s unfortunate it’s not in this case.
What a great experience it was buying a car from Annapolis Hyundai! I know the words buying a car and great experience dont often go together, but this time they did. I had been looking for a car for about 3 weeks when I spoke to Rich about an Elantra. He put together three proposals for me within a day. I ended up not buying the Elantra and went on looking at other cars besides Hyundai. Rich politely asked if there was anything he could do to let him know. The dealership did not hound me with offers and emails. On Friday, I saw a car I liked on their website. I went in on Saturday morning and to my delight Rich happened to be in the office early. He showed me the car and I bought the Sonata that morning. On a Saturday, I would suggest making an appointment to see a car or be prepared to be patient and wait for a salesperson to open up. The financing staff (Mary) was terrific. Options for extended warranties were presented to me, but there was no pressure to upgrade. There was no fear instilled in me if I did not buy an upgraded warranty. Buying local felt good as well.

I scheduled an appointment for a basic servicing on my car, but when I showed up it was not in the books. Rather than turn me away because they seemed like they may be a little short handed, Jacob offered a courtesy car for me to drive so I could do whatever I needed to do until they could get around to my car. I ended up not being able to come back until the next day after work but that was no problem for them! I was so grateful and Jacob and the rest of the service department is always exceptional!

The service team is #1. No matter how crushed they are, the focus is always on the person at the counter. They can explain what it’ll take to complete the job, provide rides to and from home, never try to add unnecessary work (unlike a few other service departments I’ve been to), handle any (extended) warranty paperwork, and do it all with a genuine smile. Let me know the last time you looked forward to going to another service department. Perfect repair work, good prices, friendly atmosphere—what’s not to love?
Charley had the car we called about waiting with a full tank of gas to test drive when we arrived! By the time we got back from the test drive the papers were ready. Although I was hesitant, Mary in finance got me a much lower interest rate then I walked in with. We had fun talking while signing papers which is usually such a dreaded event.

Though CPO gives some peace of mind, Take CPO with a grain of salt...1) Car battery died in 2 weeks for no apparent reason, had to call Roadside to jump start.2) Car driver seat clicks (slides a bit) when taking turns. Dealer said bring the car to check it out, but its a 1.5 hour drive. I am going to get this fixed on next oil change/service.3) GPS maps are outdated and not updated to the latest version, I need to pay $$$ to download the latest maps.4) Wheel guards are broken/cracked. Instead of replacing them, they were just screwed haphazardly to the body.5) First car wash revealed several scratches in the paint. Looks like dealer buffed up a little to hide it.6) Plastic door/cover that protects the jump start positive terminal is missing.7) None of the wheels had valve caps/dust caps.Car is great so far, but pay attention to minor details and dont get blindsided by CPO.

I am used to the chaos of other service centers so Annapolis Hyundai was a pleasant surprise. The Sonata is my first Hyundai so I was not sure what to expect. Jena and the other staff I interacted with in Parts and Service were professional and courteous. I give the visit a solid 5 stars.
This particular dealership did an outstanding job of not only communicating with me but doing 95% of it through email or text. I was interested in the 2020 Santa Fe SEL with a power liftgate, and I told them exactly what I wanted my monthly payments to be at. I asked if they could give me a out the door price with some different scenarios of down payments. They did without question!!, Unlike the other dealerships, they all wanted me to call and they wouldnt give me an out-the-door price. I gave the majority of my information, took a picture of my insurance card, my DD-214 to prove that I was a veteran and a picture of my drivers license and emailed it to him and then I called and briefly just to give them my social security number and get a couple more details . Then I just went in the next day sign the paperwork and got my car. that was the easiest Ive ever bought a vehicle. I wish more dealerships would give out the door prices be thoughtful and truthful with a their potential customers. Overwhelming I would definitely buy from Annapolis Hyundai again and all was done with my sales rep Trey Wilson was outstanding.
Best and easiest car buying experience ever. The service and attention to detail is un-paralleled. My sales experience with Shawn was outstanding, very personable, knowledgeable about the car, and did not provide any pressure sales techniques. He was responsive to any questions that I had and was available whenever I contacted him. The rest of the transaction was painless from negotiating the price, to closing out the sale with Mary of finance, and meeting Mike, the GM, was a great close-out meeting. He has owned and managed Volvos and provided me with good insight in the operation of the vehicle and tips-n-tricks to speed up the learning curve.

I personally hate aggressive sales tactics, so often part of the car-buying experience -- but Dee was the exact opposite, he made my time there stress-free and enjoyable. I love the staff at this Hyundai. They are always friendly (both over the phone and in person) and are very accommodating. The only thing that could make it better would be always getting a car wash and/or vacuum the interior.
Have had my Car now for going on 10 days, failed to answer the phone apparently only Kristy works there to pick up the phones. ridiculous very upset
