It was easy to set up the service appointment and the check in process was quick. We used the loaner service and we appreciated the convenience. The service was completed in a timely manner and the service manager was very helpful. The cost was competitive with other dealers in the area. The service area and waiting room are in serious need of updating (cramped and dark). I would think that a dealership that sells prestigious vehicles (Cadillac and Volkswagen) would have a more appropriate service area. There were several vehicles in the parking area and it was difficult getting in and out of the service area.
RANDY in the parts department was a regular guy doing his job without attitude that is the norm at discount stores and other dealerships. He was able to convince me to use their service department and I am a trained mechanic! I dropped to 4 stars because I tried to buy an xt4 on 2019 and the sales guy was pushing a demo with 9k miles suggesting we pay an extra 10k to repaint it if color was an issue.
They were wonderful! I am taking a road trip with my mom who is 95. She was due for a service ( it is her car, she still drives ) and they fit me in and worked very hard to accommodate me.They completed all the work on a very timely basis.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND FITZGERALD MAZDA!!!

The staff was very helpful; one person told me where to drive for my maintenance service; another assistant showed me where to speak with someone regarding my appointment; the next associate with whom I spoke regarding my service was polite and helpful; the very fact that I was able to have some cosmetic work done that same day on the interior of the car was a definite plus; when I made my payment at the window the assistant took some extra time to look at some mail I had been receiving from various sources and she told me it was all junk mail and to just disregard it. I was grateful that she looked at it because I didn’t know if it was really from VW or not.Several years ago I bought a Jetta from this dealership. My salesperson was very helpful and also I always had a pleasant experience when I would take it in for maintenance there— part of the reason I returned.Heck; even the loan officer was great. We have actually only dealt with the Volkswagen service and parts areas to date. But, the service writers and mechanics that we have had interactions with have been top notch from day one. One of the best car purchase experiences Ive had in almost 50 years of buying cars. From my initial contact with the dealerships receptionist through the finance office, it was completely positive and about as enjoyable as it could have been. The salesman, Conrad Bergman, was stellar. He knows his product. He never applied any pressure on me to buy the car after the test drive; just call him if I decide I want to purchase it. I did; I bought the car over the phone with him the next day and he had everything possible prepared for me when I came in to pick up the car a week later. In and out of finance in less than 1/2 hour. The salesman was patient and spent the time necessary to make sure I completely understood the cars features and technology.

Needed to have the transmission in my CTS serviced. Needed to find the closest Cadillac dealership to me since Capital Cadillac closed. Sport Cadillac was the closest. Called them for 2 days and could NEVER get through to the service department. What if my car was already there and I was calling for information? I would have been very upset.Called Fitzgerald Cadillac in Annapolis and their service department picked up on the second ring! Made an appointment for the next day and when I arrived everything was set up including the rental. All they required were my keys and signature. Brittany was so helpful. I was in and out of there in just a few minutes. Brittany and the service staff gave me regular updates on the status of my repairs. And when I arrived to pick up Black Beauty, they had given her a bath. Cool Beans!!
Amazing experience buying my new VW Atlas! Emailed Anthony Johnson what I wanted and price range during the day, drove 2 hours that evening to see 2 cars waiting for me up front, took a test drive, made a decision, and out in 90 minutes. Took my 2011 Mitsubishi Lancer and for a open recall repair ask them to check the exhaust donut in the front which was under warranty was a vice that it was a $1500 fix and then found out it was only a $150 fixed at another shop
I must say I received the BEST customer service here. Very efficient. Brittany was the associate assigned to me. She was extremely friendly and checked me in expeditiously and put me in a loaner. The young woman that checks you out was also efficient. Within 20 minutes I was pulling off in a loaner. Brittany kept me informed and even went above and beyond to get my cue screen fixed at a reasonable price. The work was so swift my car was ready for pick up in a little over 24 hrs. I am very pleased with my experience and the work done. This is one of the best dealership service experiences I have ever had. Please continue to provide this level of service.

My husband went to this dealership to have a key fob replaced and programmed to his car. The service Dept. programmed the key and after we drove the car home the horn blew all night and the door hatch would not open. We had the car towed a second time only to be told the repairs would cost $2000.00. Can anyone tell me why my car that was in good shape no problems only to go in the dealership for a key fob replacement be destroyed by a place that was supposed to give service.
Getting my 13 year old Escalade repaired here was in my mind the best I could do to prolong the life of my beloved truck. I went there because I had a total break failure. My baby had to be towed to the service department. The next day, I called the service desk. I had many questions once they told me that it would cost upwards of $3200 to $3500 to fix. I was at a crossroad; should I give up on this truck or keep it till it no longer runs. I asked the service rep her thought on the matter and whether or not she thought there was still some time left to enjoy this truck. I thought an expert opinion would help in this big decision. She was not helpful. I told her that I wanted to be sure if I got this work done the truck would be road worthy and I didnt want to worry about another breakdown. I told her I needed the engine checked, a tune up done and any other things they needed to do to insure the truck would run properly. She asked me If the check engine light had come on. I said no.Six days later. I got dropped off to pick up the truck. Signed the $3800 bill. I got in the truck, start the engine. First thing I read on the dash Service Tire Monitor. Really? $3800 doesnt include checking your work? Im sorry, to me Tire Monitor, Tires and Breaks are in the same family.Not sure how good a job was done on the breaks but the truck do stop and go. The mechanic I called to explain this to me, when I saw the dash, had a quick check done. asking who worked on the truck? Just on his quick check other problems were found, for example one of the headlights was malfunctioning. He asked if I could leave it? My ride was gone. I told him I will call and reschedule.I know my alignment is off because the truck tends to go to the left on a straight road. No tune up was done, no checks of anything. No one mentioned any problems were found.When I called to schedule the new appointment the same lady answered. After a frustrating conversation, I told her thank you. I dont need to pay you to frustrate me, I will spend my money elsewhere.In retrospect, I could of asked to speak to someone who was knowledgeable, a mechanic. I thought I was. Maybe, she should of had me speak to someone who knew about cars or truck. Oh well!

I had a much better experience the first time I went here to get a car 10 years ago. I walked around the lot for a while before being helped, but admit I never went in and asked for anyone to come out and assist me. I also have to admit I was surprised at the current price of the used and new models. Luxury prices for nice vehicles but somewhat out of touch with reality when buyers expect certain amenities without paying for them. They did not still have my file so weren’t able to even see I was a previous owner.
Came in to buy a used Audi. Had a beetle trade. Everyone ( even during this Corona thing) were extremely helpful and kind. It was like being around friends instead of cars sales. They made everything very easy and was such a pleasant experience. I have had 5 VWs and this Dealership was the best I have ever used. So the light in my car came on saying “Airbag System Service Required” and wouldn’t turn the passenger airbag on when someone would sit in the seat. I took my car to Fitzgerald Auto Mall in Annapolis to be serviced since JBA no longer services Mitsubishi warranties. Okay, all was well for the first little bit. Then the technician continuously asks me if I spilled anything on my seats because my airbag sensors wouldn’t work if so. No, nothing was spilled. He then asked me the same about my floor mats, which the answer was again no, besides the normal walking in the rain or snow and shoes being wet while making my way to my car. So comes back and say the code pops up when we check the diagnostics but it could have just been a saved code. So I asked if the code was there that means there’s a problem with that area, correct? Okay, “Well Miss, I cleared the code and will test drive it to make sure it doesn’t come up again”. Which threw me for a loop so I told him clearing the code obviously takes the indicator away but not the actual problem. The technician said it will make sure the indicator doesn’t pop up again. He then said my car was fine and the problem was done because the code was cleared, BUT, before leaving he stated “If you were to get into an accident, your passenger airbag just may not deploy”. Long story short, I will be calling the manufacturer tomorrow along with whomever else I need to call as well since my life and my children along with anyone else in my car lives do not matter. They looked at my car for about 3.5 hours just to clear the code and tell me my passenger air bag just might not deploy. If you could avoid this place by all means PLEASE DO!!!

My ATS has had same issue and has been towed 3 times in last 5 weeks. Everytime I pick it up its a matter of days when it has same issue. It was towed on Sunday and I have left several messages, but no one ever calls back. It seems as though their customer service is good as long as you are having regular maintenance but the minute they cant fix your car that is sill under warranty, they dont call you back or work with you.
Went in with already knowing what I wanted to look at. Spoke with Brett Grant and he had the car pulled up and ready for when I got there. He made everything an easy and pain free process. Will definitely go back when I need another vehicle

If I could give Fitzgerald Volkswagen 10 stars, I would. Early in my car-buying process I went back to a dealership I had purchased several cars from and had an incredibly ridiculous experience. I was discouraged and considering switching car brands. A friend mentioned Fitzgerald so I decided to stop in this week to check out their inventory and make my determination of whether or not I would adjust my brand loyalty. Going to their Annapolis location was one of the best decisions Ive made in quite some time. My experience was day and night to my previous dealership. From the moment I walked through their doors I was put at ease, no forceful selling tactics or smarmy salespeople. Simply honest folks who want to get you in the vehicle that is right for you. Tania Falls was my salesperson, she was A+. I cannot say enough good about her, she handled my negativity regarding my previous experience like a champ. Aj Tucker, sales manager, exceeded my expectations and really helped guide me to payments that fit my budget. Both of these individuals are quite the dream team for selling vehicles. They each made what could have been a stressful situation much more calm and relaxed. Even financing with Luis was a fun experience, I cannot believe Im even typing that but their entire team was simply wonderful! I purchased my car from Fitzgerald and a $35 coupon is given to me every 3 months for service. My oil change costs me about $7. That is an awesome deal and saves me tons on part of the maintenance of my car. They also do a free check up on the car. It is difficult to get an appointment and when I do call they literally try to talk me out of bringing my car in at all. Once there,the guys that check you in do not make you feel welcome at all. If I did not get the coupon, I would not bother. Since they make it clear they do not want my business, I take my car elsewhere for anything else it needs.

This is the second car that I pirchased from Fitzgerald Cadillac. Easy to negotiate; mostly done by text message after an initial call. Arranged a time to pick up the car, signed the paperwork, and was out the door in about 30 minutes. Based on my first car, the service associates are great and the service is also. They service all GM cars. Why go anywhere else?
SERVICE DEPARTMENT REVIEW: Eleven years ago my wife and I were considering buying a previously owned 2005 SRX, from another Cadillac dealership, for her to drive. After introducing myself to Don the Service Director, he said bring the vehicle in and he will have the Shop Foreman Robbie inspect it and tell us whether he would have his wife own the SRX. After his inspection and review of the printed service records from the selling Cadillac dealership, Robbie informed Don and myself, YES this SRX is in excellent condition. The attention to detail, knowledge and polite consideration from the entire staff is 5 Stars! Over the years I have been introduced to Matt, who is now the Service Manger, Brittany and the Cadillac Service Technician Tom, who provides excellent customer service! We have even take our non GM cars here for service! Scheduled to have an oil change and tire rotation on a Saturday. I was not going to be able to pick the car up until after service and sales closed. After speaking to service AND the cashier, I paid for the work over the phone with a credit card and both service and sales assured me they could lock the keys and receipt in the car. Of course, I went to pick up my car and the keys and receipt for were not inside. Also, car was not washed, which is usually done at the last Cadillac dealership I went to in Hunt Valley.They did agree to mail me the keys and receipt.Cant expect people to pay premium dollar for mediocre service.UPDATE - Matt - I appreciate your response. However, I find it hard to believe that no one knew to lock the keys in the car because I was specifically transferred to the cashier to pay for the service over the phone so they COULD lock the keys in the car. I did receive the keys in the mail. Thank you for that.
I’ve been a customer for over 16 years. 1 Star is very generous.This service center is among the worst you can get for several reasons.1. Sexist - They treat women with much less respect than men - my wife is constantly treated disrespectfully whenever she visits. She dreads even a simple oil change now because it’s a huge hassle.The service writers will try to suggest incorrect solutions unrelated to a problem but thankfully my wife is very car savvy so they don’t get far with that nonsense. So if you’re a woman, be on your game and stand up for yourself, they will try to run over you.2. Horrible customer service - I paid for a rental car service so that, whenever they take longer than an hour i can be on my way and about my day. It’s like fighting a lion to get them to honor this feature that in PAID for when purchasing my vehicle.3. Constant miscommunication - I recently called to schedule an oil change. I was told to come in at 8. When I got there at 8 i was told that they had not put me on the schedule as they said but might be able to get to it by the end of day. Oh, and i would have to leave my car with them but they weren’t going to provide a rental car (even though their policy is to do so). So apparently I’m supposed to sit around all day??? This is bad customer service.If you can, go somewhere else or hell, do It yourself!
We rarely rate any service, however Joe Frantum at Fitzgerald Mazda in Annapolis provided such amazing customer service we had to take a moment to comment. We got a great price on our new Mazda and the experience was excellent.We were of course, looking for the best price. After speaking to Joe we realized other dealers were merely trying to get us on site so they could work us over. We ended up with the best price in a low pressure environment.We highly recommend Joe and the FITZ WAY!!!

I bought a Mazda 3 from Fitzgerald and was very pleased with the process and the cost. I wanted one configured in a certain way and my salesman, Cameron Christian, either ordered it or identified it in the manufacturers pipeline. He tracked it over the course of a few months, giving me periodic updates, and held it for me when it came in. When I picked it up, it had 1 mile on the odometer. Process was simple, price was clear from the start with no nonsense. I would buy from them again.
Melissa King and the Finance manager that helped me purchase a used VW were outstanding. I was in and out in just over 1 hour from test drive to keys in hand. They even delivered the vehicle the next day to my residence over 90 minutes away from the dealership. A++ quick, efficient, no pressure sales environment.
