I wasn’t sure that I would be able to get the vehicle that I wanted but Jose and the Director of the finance department worked their magic. I have been trying to buy a car for some time and they were great with helping me navigate finances and we came to an agreement. I ask them if I could go over the details that we discussed with my mother because this was the largest purchase that I was making and they started to make me feel very uncomfortable. The sales associate that I was working with, Eric, kept saying they needed to hit their numbers for the month. The financial advisor made it very difficult to simply write down the details for me to show to my mom. We never discussed my final trade in value numbers and the final out the door price for the vehicle and they simply would not give me that information. I am honestly very disappointed and they made me feel like I didn’t know what I was talking about. I was not able to pick up the car that I wanted because they said that it wasn’t possible to share this information with my mother. They told me to sign the documents and then take it to my mom. Not happening!I I told them I wanted the car and shook hands to get everything finalized. Truly hurt by how I was treated as a first time buyer. They said things like “well it’s your decision” “just get the car, you can afford it”. I knew that, but would have felt better having that discussion with my parents as well.

Can’t say enough about my sales rep Brian Williams. By far the most laid back and easy to talk to salesman I have ever dealt with when buying a vehicle. There was never a point in time where I felt forced or uncomfortable during the process of buying this car. He was transparent and patient during all conversation. Koons Toyota of Annapolis is just....wow!!! I had some terrible experienced at other Toyota dealers around Maryland. Sales Consultant Michael Harris went above and beyond any expectations. He is by no means, the stereotypical car salesman. He keeps it real and has an actual conversation with you. Makes you feel like youre not just a paycheck, which is just not an experience at a car dealership I expected. The manager Jason, who came in to close the deal, was incredible and super friendly. Never thought I would say that about a sales manager at a car dealer. In the end, he made me an offer I just couldnt walk away from. In this market, any other dealer just shuts down when it comes to negotiating. It was a welcome experience that will have me going there for all my services, even though they arent the closest to me. I also have to mention the finance manager Alex. Very straight forward and willing to explain all the details. He is very patient, even when you want to read every word of the contract and ask an absurd amount of questions for clarification. All in all. You cannot go wrong with Koons Toyota of Annapolis. The only negative I can come up with is the pricing in the current market, but that isnt even their fault. Kudos to this dealership and their straight forward no BS approach to sales.Thank You!!!!

We found the car we wanted off of Koons’ website and had set up a time to meet with Brian Williams. Brian was awesome, he was courteous and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. At no time did he pressure us. He was very patient as we looked at a couple vehicles. The price was very fair. We are very happy with our purchase. Jerry was our finance guy and he was also great. Very knowledgeable about the products they offer and explained it well. Koons gave us an excellent car for a great price. The car was clean, well maintained, and all the maintenance was completed by Koons (new brakes, tires, etc). My only critic is that after we selected the car and was waiting for finance to get to us, it took quite a bit of time until we spoke with someone. While I realize there’s a lot of paperwork, we spent about 45 minutes waiting until someone met with us. I also recognize this is not totally on Koons fault since they probably were waiting on communications with the DMV/other agencies involved. But no big deal, since we are very happy with our purchase. Very impressed with the service here, a stellar place to buy a car. Thank you Brian and Jerry, and thank you to the Koons team!

As a buyer coming from out of state I was amazed by the level of professionalism by Brett. From the initial phone call Brett answered all of our questions and took us very seriously. This meant a lot to us as many sales personnel dont take out of state buyers as seriously. Brett even recorded a video for us showing us the vehicle so we knew beforehand what to expect before making the drive. This added a personal touch that really helped seal the deal for us making the drive to the dealership and ultimately buying the vehicle. The last time I bought a new car was in 1998. It was a Toyota 4Runner and I literally ran it into the ground. When I donated it last year it had 302,000 miles on the original engine with the original transmission. So i was determined to buy a new Toyota. This time I chose a Highlander Hybrid.
