If I could more than 5 Stars I would! I flew into Anapolis to move my dad into Assisted Living where he really needs to be. We had to really narrow down what he could take to his new, tiny little space. His existing king size bed wasnt going to fit and we had 36 hours to get a new bed delivered . Margaret worked her magic and guided us through the choice sight unseen and got it delivered so my dad had a wonderful new bed for his new chapter. From the minute he laid down he sighed and said he loved it. Thank you so much Margaret! Youre a miracle worker! I cant recommend Mattress Store enough. Margaret and Danny were professional and knowledgeable. Within five minutes we felt like we were with family. There was absolutely no pressure to buy. All of our questions were answered thoroughly. A mattress is not a cheap investment nor one that is made on a regular basis so we were appreciative of the information provided and the no rush atmosphere. I would not hesitate to recommend The Mattress Store in the future. And We were happy to support an Annapolis small business.
The customer service is impeccable! The staff is professional, knowledgeable and super kind. Our master bedroom mattress is currently 8 years old and is great condition. We purchase our high quality pillows from there every few years and each time I’m impressed with the quality of service. The selection ranges from your mediocre guest bedroom mattress to high end, high quality mattresses. Wow! Such a pleasure shopping here. This place is so unlike other mattress stores. I was dreading going shopping. Almost bought online but this place stood out with its 5 star rating. Gave it a try. Joe helped me out. I had an idea of what I liked but didnt know where to start. Joe said to try as many out as I wanted, but he also said I think you will like one of these and pointed two out. I tried them, I tried a few others, and then tried the ones Joe pointed out again. His suggestion was what I bought. Prices were reasonable, no crazy push to add on all kinds of other stuff. Just mattress and box spring. Delivery was just as smooth. Crew showed up within the window. Took my old stuff, put in the new and were back out the door in no time. Yes I would send friends and relatives here, this place is awesome! There is something to be said about a family owned and operated business. (They also get a well deserved Readers Choice award from The Capital year after year)

I knew I needed a new mattress, but avoided shopping for one as I knew it would be hard sales and lots of pressure to buy this one or that one. Well my wife and I visited the Chester store and we where met by Lori and she was great. We left very happy customers. Also the delivery guys were just as great and professional. If you need a mattress this is the place to go.
I was looking for twin mattresses which would be comfortable for adult guests. Dianne helped me find exactly what I needed without being pushy. When the manufacturer sent the wrong size mattresses, she and Margaret made sure I had temporary mattresses for my guests until the right size mattresses came in. The delivery men were pleasant and professional.
Dianne is absolutely amazing!!! She is incredibly knowledgeable, professional and courteous. I told her that I start off on my side but wake up on my back. She directed me to 4 mattresses within a few degrees of firmness. My current mattress is foam, so she gave me 2 inner spring options and 2 foam options. I ended up choosing a BeautyRest and couldn’t be happier.

On February 25, 2019, I paid in full for a bed, a mattress, and delivery/setup from The Mattress Store as a first time customer. My total was $2,555.88. Miss Dianne provided me with excellent customer service while helping me in picking out a mattress for the bed I was ordering. Miss Dianne was personable, knowledgeable about the mattresses the store offered, she was all world. I was told that my order should take 2-4 weeks to arrive, my invoice estimated 3-4 weeks. A month passes by and I have not yet heard any updates from the store regarding my order. I call the store and end up speaking with the storeowner who looks my information up in the system. She proceeds to tell me that she doesn’t know where my order is or what the hold up is as far as it not being received yet so delivery could be scheduled. Red flag. She says she will give the manufacturer of the bed a call to see what is going on. We get off the phone and I never hear back from her as to what’s going on with my order. Horrible customer service. I end up having to call the store back again after giving them another week and it turns out my bed should be arriving shortly and we can schedule delivery now. Fast forward to today. It is now April 15, 2019 and I still do not have all of what I paid for. Delivery and setup were supposed to be completed today but that was a failure due to the wrong size slats being sent with my order. I paid over $100 for delivery, scheduled time off from work to be present for delivery/setup and the delivery staff arrives with the wrong materials needed for setup. How ridiculously unprofessional and a total waste of time. When speaking with the owner of this store, she suggested having the delivery staff go to the nearest Home Depot to buy some wood planks to use as a substitute for the wrong size slats that were delivered as part of my bed setup. That “solution” was totally unacceptable because the warranty information on the back of my invoice states that “It is imperative that the center support system (under your mattress set) complies with current warranty requirements…It is your responsibility to provide the correct support system. We stress this because it will VOID your warranty.” Why would the storeowner propose a “solution”, even a “temporary” one, which could possibly cause my warranty to be voided by using materials that are not officially a part of the bed set to support the mattress? It makes absolutely no sense. I communicate to the storeowner that her proposed “solution” is no good, I simply want what I have paid for. She then tells me that she’s going to place a “rush” order to get the slats to me in 7-10 days. All I have really received from the storeowner so far are poor customer service, empty words and hollow apologies. Courtesy of The Mattress Store I am still without a bed in my new home. I spent my hard-earned money on these items and have not gotten my money’s worth at all so far. I have never felt so disrespected in my life. I would not wish this kind of poor treatment on anyone because this is just bad business. I initially chose to purchase a bed and mattress from The Mattress Store because of the good reviews I read about the store and the smoothness of their delivery process and have been nothing but disappointed with how things have transpired and been handled so far. I now fully question the validity of any positive review given to this store. I will never do business with The Mattress Store again. I would never recommend The Mattress Store to anybody. I caution ALL buyers to BEWARE when dealing with this business.
