We’ve been locals for about 6 years. Meijer has really gone down hill since then even with the remodeling in consideration. There are always incredibly long lines. I’m not sure why you have 12+ lanes when only 3 are open at a time. The pop machines are never fully stocked. It can be an unpredictable trip because one week they have a product and the next week it’s gone. We’ve switched to Misfits Market recently and it’s been great. There’s a better selection and I don’t have to wait in line for 45+ minutes just for all of my frozen things to melt.
Its all good until you attempt to check out then you get to the only two check outs open with a cashier your other choice is the self check out and they only take cards. Screw this so long Meijer you are a memory wont be back say so long to a 30 year customer that used your store and gas stations.
Best meijer in town. Its clean, the employees are nice, and they work hard. They struggle to keep the shelves full sometime, but thats expected when they are the best store in town. Thanks! Also, I love the Korean greeter. She remembers me and says hello every time. Shes so kind and helpful!
Its the place for just ok everything.avoid the chicken. its defrosted poorly and packaged in such a way that water pools in the packaging. this makes it spoil fast and have poor quality.also watch out for organic products placed prominently for quick sale at higher prices.if you need a plunger at an odd hour this place can be a win i guess
Store is clean and well-organized. Service is good. Appreciate that there are cashiers so dont always have to go to self-serve. Most of the time lately I use the shop n scan. App works pretty well other than clearance items dont scan. Prices are reasonable and shelves are generally well-stocked. Separate review for pharmacy, but worth mentioning here that this is my familys go-to pharmacy.
My go to Meijer in the Ann arbor area. They tend to have what I need but if you go late then quite a few things are not re-stocked. Often the staff are nice and will help you find something but it can be TOUGH to actually find someone in the department you need help in. Lots of parking. The west entrance tends to close at night I think, so Ive had to go out the east entrance and walk in a circle. The greeters are almost always there and say hello and goodbye. The new remodel looks good and the store is usually clean
This Is A Very Big Meijer Store Compared To Other Ones. You Can Find Everything In This Particular Store Because I Would Say It Is Stocked Better Than Most Other Meijer Stores. Has Fresh Produce And All The Groceries That You Will Need To Succeed. Also Tho It Is A Big Huge Traffic Area But Other Than That It Is A Very Nice Store Still To This Day.
This is the cleanest and safest Meijer in the area, and the produce is usually very fresh and well stocked. But the rest of the shelves…not so much. I’ve found more and more often I can’t find half the items I am shopping for. It’s very frustrating, no one wants to go to multiple stores to find everyday products. And it’s like the items are out of stock for weeks at a time, not just once. I get it, we are all struggling right now - but something has got to give. The last thing I want to do after a 12 hour overnight shift is go to more than one grocery store to get necessities.
Gone are the days of running in to grab something. Wait for self or full serve check out is regularly at least 30 minutes.
Usually a pretty decent Meijer but they had a lack of cashiers today. 25 minute wait for self checkout, looked like even longer for the regular cashier lane.
My go to meijer. After the renovation was finished its been great.
Big store with what ever you need. Clean and well organized, only a couple of check out lines open with very long lines and long wait for the register.
Im not sure whether this is true of all Meijer stores or just this one, but I frequently find that items available at other groceries are often out of stock at this Meijer--for weeks at a time. Ive tried to ask the manager about this, but ... nothing. They also tend to carry an item for a while and then drop it, which makes shopping at Meijer in general extremely frustrating. Finally, the aisles at the Saline-Ann Arbor Meijer are long and its difficult to see what items are located on a given aisle. You can forget about signage helping you. Clean store with a great wine and spirits section, but shopping here is a chore.
The remodel is nice. Lots of room and it looks good.
Thanks for having Natural bug spray! Please keep the safer sprays and oils in stock. Deet free all the way. You make hanging out doors this summer much easier. Thanks again!
Store is a nice shopping experience. A bit frustrated because most everything i wanted was sold out! Shelves were bare.
James checked me out today at 6:20 pm and I experienced fantastic service! I didn’t wait in line at all and for the first time in my life, James came out from behind the register and helped me unload groceries from my cart to the belt. He was so fast and pleasant and Meijer should give this superstar a raise! Thanks, AJ!
Store is clean and for the most part well stocked. 5 stars for the friendly elderly gentleman greeting at the door!
Meijer always has fresh food...and the sales paper has sales on everything you need for this week...so i can celebrate the holidays with my family and save money...higher standards/lower prices
I went at 7am. And it was in and out. Store was clean and quiet. I think I may go this early all the time. Loved it!!!!
Produce section could be better, I love the one on carpenter rd.
A staff person was very helpful, went out of her way and found my favorite sparkling water, was not in the shelf.
Great place to shop for anything and everything in the Midwest. Huge grocery section with great prices on everything in addition to other sections such as sports, electronics, home, and clothing. You cant go wrong here. If you need something while in the Midwest, go to Meijer!
This is a very nice Meijer, seems like they have just about everything there you could need!
Good supplies however building did not look that good
Really love this Meijer! I drive the extra distance and its worth it. Super clean and usually well stocked. Only issue is the need for more check out kiosks open, but thats a national issue not just a Meijer issue.
The store is looking better on inside. Peoe where nice
I would definitely give ZERO stars but that isnt an option. My family & I have shopped with Meijer since I was a child. That said all of us will no longer be shopping with your stores anymore after yesterday. I myself have been a manager in major retail business and I know what customer service is and how to treat a customer. Obviously no one at the 3145 Ann Arbor-Saline Rd. Store #64 location has been given any customer service training whatsoever. First the cashier Cheryl was extremely rude and condescending. Then after realizing I was overcharged for many of the items I bought the service desk attendant was also very rude and unhelpful to say the least. I finally got the attention of a manager who had just spent 10 minutes talking to someone who was clearly her friend hoping she would rectify the behavior of both employees and she was not helpful at all and acted like I was wasting her time. I find it funny that the mantra on the wall in the customer service area said we need the customer, they dont need us. -Fred Meijer after how I was treated today by all 3 Meijer employees. I can shop anywhere and get the exact same products without rudeness, attitude and condescension so from now on I will. If your stores keep this behavior up none of you will have jobs anymore.A very extremely dissatisfied former Customer
I shopped at Meijer 🛒 today while on a trip to get out of the big city 😂. Visited MSU and U of M. I stopped for some overnight snacks. This Meijer is very clean 👍 and organized. All the same great prices and items plus a neat treat shop serving insta worthy goodies.
Meijer has always been my favorite super market when I am visiting family in Ann Arbor MI.This one on Ann -Arbor Saline road is a very nice store. My favorite part is the recycling area outside. They have a handwash area as well.I like the selection of the plants and seasonal stuff..I use the app and it works great. Many nice places to eat around - Menchies- Buddys pizza, Texas Steakhouse, Starbucks, Pancheros and Five guys.I used the curbside pick up area for the 1st time today .I liked the option on the app where it offers 2 choices - I M on my way and I am here. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is the curbside is not planned properly. If the staff finishes uploading the order for spot 2 finishes before spot 1 then the spot 2 customer is stuck until they finish with spot 1.Otherwise its one of the good places provide everything under 1 roof. You will also find the Tesla charging stations close by and Meijer gas station.
Large market with all the necessities. Ive never waited in line for more than a few minutes. I love that they have a lot of self-checkout machines.
Their vaccine clinic is very well organized. We were in and out of there in 10 minutes (excluding the 15 minute wait time after the vaccine). The store has a great variety of foods including plant based burgers. The prices are very reasonable as well.
Almost all of my interactions with employees here have been fantastic. Always happy to help me out when I need it. There is one uscan host that has a bit of an attitude sometimes but for the most part they have been okay. The store seems to always have what I need and things are easy to find. I really enjoy the coupons I get and Meijer sales are always awesome. I enjoy the discount bakery goodies. The store always seems pretty clean, though the shoe area looks a little rough some days. Some of the uscan checkout lanes seem to always be out of order. The uscan is usually only run by one host, despite there being ten register they need to keep track of. Sometimes help is a little slow because of this.
How do you not have and Michigan Wolverine gear for kids?!?!Also, best of luck trying to find an employee to help out.
Didnt have a lot of things I needed for college, they were completely out.
Meijer leads the way in community service . Im grateful for the space in the car lot over night .
Its a big store and it looks cool ig
By far, this Meijer has the cleanest and best maintained bottle room during this Covid-crisis of any other store around. I always see the windows being washed, the floor being scrubbed with a motorized sanitizing device, and people are posted to monitor entering customers obey the PPE rules. Its also the location where I received both of my Covid-19 vaccinations - thank you Meijer!
The lady working the express lane unbelievably rude in everyday- I do 90% of my shopping at meijer - she acts like im a burden to adjust a pricewhen being over charged, made me wait saying that she cant get on the phone to check the price- Meijer really needs to fix this - I send almost $300 - and over charged $6 - and no one seems to want to help
Couldnt find some basic things, like bread crumbs & asparagus. Good, just not great.
A little on the pricey side for some things, But they usually have things that others dont. You cant go wrong with Meijer.
The store is nice with the new updates. Its usually busy, so make sure to plan time into your schedule.
Store was clean but not well stocked, and only 3 checkouts open. I found it ironic that Fred Meijer is quoted on the wall o huge letters, saying something close to our customers dont need us, we need them. This was right by thg he multiple self checkouts that were packed with a long line. I wanted to add to the quote do it said .. we need them to shop and check themselves out .
My only wish is that they would keep the 2% quarts stocked, they always seem to run out. Must be a popular drink.
As a customer I really don’t appreciate being treated like I am suspicious or going to scan something in wrong… probably won’t be coming back here again that’s for sure
Had a really good time with Miles R. here 🤭
Carpenter Rd. Meijers put a drive thru pharmacy now!!!
Without fail in the last year they are playing music that is distracting, too loud, and anything but pleasant. What is the idea? Please CHANGE THE CHANNEL
Amazing so clean and organized, very friendly staff.
You have to be impressed by the cleanliness and orderliness of these stores nothing is ever out of place anywhere
We used the pickup service service for the first time and we were pleasantly surprised with the service. Our order was accurate and and had very few substitutions.
Great staff, prices, and always well organized. I was able to get birthday balloons at 10 pm!
Whether your grocery shopping for the week or stopping in for a quick item, Meijer has you covered.
Have shopped this location for 20+ years. Good location, but fair quality of produces. Their sales are not always matched with their sale flyers, and the staffs are always helpful. There are also some hidden restrictions on their coupons/sales items. You can only find them out when you check out:(
Just like all retail establishments, need more cashiers. It is what it is. I will never use a self checkout.
Great place to buy most anything you need from food to shoes🇺🇸
Very nice and clean, nice people too.
Enough check-outs open so there was little wait! Hoorah!
I trust that the person behind the local meijer whom I gave my social security number to take care of it :)
Great sales, excellent clothing selection and checkout line wait times arent too bad.
Staff member unfamiliar with product location (understandable), but staff member didnt have the ability to contact additional staff or manager who could assist me. I dont understand how a major retailer doesnt have systems in place to get in contact with other employees in the store.
Very nice store, but quite large if walking is a difficulty. Many Handicap parking though
This is the best Meijer store around, period! So clean, so organized, and the lighting is awesome. Keep up the good work guys! I highly recommend this store!
I love this meijer the store is clean and people are friendly. I always enjoy coming here.
Staff in plants had no idea about plants!I was charged $2.07 for an item that had a sign posted for $1; because they charged the wrong price,it made me miss out on the buy10 get 11th free;when I went to take someone else to Meijer in Ypsi. They told me I had to go to the other store to straighten it out, even though I only went there because someone needed a ride,I have NEVER liked that store! So, they want me to spend $5 or more in gas to fix their screw up!!!The potatoes always smell like cigarettes, not from store staff, but packers I believe.,but they still, the last time I visited there was over 2 yrs ago, when the potatoes smelled like cigarette smoke;prices are higher here than the ypsi store and staff, for the most part are just not friendly enough!
Lady at the customer service counter was extremely rude. A be size my ID is expired, I tried to replace it, my appointment is in July so I hope their policy gets an update, a nice talk with the manager would be very helpful too.
Newly remodeled, clean. Just had to pop in for a rew items.
Way too crowded at the beginning of the month when checks come in the mail. Also crowded during 5 oclock rush hour time... very rarely do they ever have enough registers open for the amount of customers they know they are going to have every day at the same time. Customer service is 50/50. Sometimes you luck out and get an employee willing to help you instead of point to an aisle or tell you they dont know the answer.... and dont bother to help you find out the answer!
This is the nicest Meijer I have ever seen!
Great produce and meat! They carry a lot of things others dont. I find their prices higher unless you belong to My Way.
I had never shopped at Meijers until a move to the area about 6 months ago and that’s about all it took to decide I wouldn’t be giving my business to the store, I’d drive further and spend more for an item if applicable to not shop here. The employees in store are literally as nice as can be- they might not be able to answer simple questions about purchasing stamps or where a major items are within the store but definitely nice and polite. My issue is with Meijer itself as a business. The curbside grocery service is a JOKE on multiple occasions 50% of my $200+ grocery order was out of stock but you won’t know this until you wait in the curbside pickup line to pickup your order at the store. If you purchase something and it’s canceled due to lack of stock, you can literally immediately repurchase- nothing is done to update item availability. There’s no point to using the website to determine an items availability in store either- it’s ALWAYS wrong. I’ve waited in line for grocery pickup for nearly an hour (don’t go after 5 pm). If Meijer’s inaccurately fills your grocery order, IE they fail to include multiple items you were charged for, the ONLY way to be refunded is by calling their corporate location and it’s a long wait and a long phone call to receive your refund. Also, their corporate team seems confused about how to issue refunds and might direct you to calling the wrong outlets until you finally receive the correct information. Even when you’re charged for items you didn’t receive, have to make 3 separate calls, write an email detailing your experiences while you’re on hold for the third time, and spend approximately 2 hours on the phone to receive refunds, nothing is offered other than a semi sincere ‘sorry’, no coupons, no discounts, no real attempts made to keep your business. Also, expect hefty wait times if you call the store. The app to scan and pay for your groceries as you shop is defective too. It always requires employee assistance who always end up rescanning at least half/all of your items. Honestly, shop somewhere else. Target has a way better curbside pick up option. Their store is nicer and right across the street. You won’t have issues if Target is at fault for order inadequacies and the price is comparable.
This is the cleanest Meijer I have ever been to. Loads of fresh produce and bakery items also.
Always fully stocked. My favorite of all the Meijers in A2/Ypsi area. And its always clean and fresh
Clean, huge selection, well lit!
EXCELLENT prices!! They have a great diversity of products!
Interesting place, feels like a Target
I like this locations layout much better than the recent remodels in Pittsfield and Belleville.
Meijer continues to have the best produce and partners with Tesla and others for electric car charging. Thats green all right.
Cant recommend this store any longer. The produce has become increasingly bad over the last few months. The renovation is not being cared for, the staff smoke right outside the entry doors. I have decided the little bit of extra money I would spend elsewhere is not a big deal. I really dont like the way they treat customers.
Employees have been very helpful during remodeling. Thank you!
It was great service and peoples lives mattr...
Meijer was very clean the gentle man at door greeting people was very nice even on the way out
This is definitely the best Meijer in nearby cities. Even better than local Targets. The best big grocery/supermarket.
We went there for Halloween, theyre still setting it up.
This is the cleanest, most well-stocked Meijer in Washtenaw county. Produce department never disappoints.
Great place they always have what I need.
Clean! First thing I look for in any place I enter. Service! Second thing. Quality for goods recd. Third. Fourth: my overall experience.5 stars in all criteria. Im eat Keto. All my needs were met. Everything on the list. Thank you Meijer.I wanted an Instant Pot cooker. ✔ done, and 10 dollars less than Amazon. Parking, easy. Manager on duty...cool. Michigan party gear...yes please.
Normally my favorite place to shop
Some good sales going on
Dirty floors, last weeks shelf shelf tickets, a lot empty holes on shelves. The doors to enter and exit work though
Took a ton of returnable bottles and cans back, seemed nice not to have to take them back home. (Covid)
