Great selection of religious goods
It is good to see a Himalayan themed store in Ann Arbor. It has the items you would expect to find at a business of this name. The pictures, and short video they have included gives you an excellent idea of the vibe of the store and what they carry. These are very helpful. Very nice to peruse while on Main st.I was last minute gift shopping before Xmas. Curiosity got the best of me with items I had seen and some I did purchase. I went on Amazon to see the pricing there for the same items. As expected, items are more expensive in store vs online Amazon. After all, purchasing at stores on Main street is about the experience of being in downtown Ann Arbor. For me, given I live in the area, I do not need to pay double for the experience, and therefore I wont be purchasing anything from this store again. If you are on a budget, you may want to proceed with caution or just keep in mind you are paying for a shop on Main in Ann Arbor.
Kind woman runs the shop. She is very compassionate. The store is beautiful and healing to me. Many beautiful dresses.
BUYER BEWARE! Found the cutest skirt, but when I got it home it stank! Impossible to tell in the store with all the incense burning. Even after washing it still reeked. I made the mistake of gentle washing with a few other items and they now stink too! Of course when I took it back to store they said no refunds. Very disappointed. Im now out $40 for a cute skirt that stinks. They also gave no receipt. Said it would come through email, but it never did.
Lovely energy... Learning and practicing the lessons of compassion, loving-kindness, and more... A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step!
We had the Best experience there. The owner was so great with us. She took time to explain everything to us which we had questions. We will definitely revisit her shop!
Very nice store. High quality unique clothing, and interesting random things such as singing bowls. The corner set up as a museum about Mount Everest is quite interesting.Theyre also very nice.
Loved it. Didnt buy anything this time, but I have my eye on a few products. I like how there is a fine selection of mens clothing, and I especially love the Everest museum corner. By far one of my favorite shops in the A2 area.
Love this store!
Went in with my sister and girlfriend and immediately I noticed a little girl watching us. At first I noticed her because she had a book and I was thinking good for her reading while her mom worked (owners daughter Im assuming), but then I notices that she was watching my sister as she shopped and looked at things. Long story short this little girl blatantly followed us throughout the store watching to make sure we wouldnt take anything. This saddened me, I made my sister aware and we left. To be a 30 yr old woman stereotyped by a child who is no older than 10 whether on her own or something she was taught to do upsets me as a human and upsets me to think about what type of human they will grow up to be.
The shop was nice lots of stuff, but not over crowded. The staff was helpful and nice. Some of the stuff was over priced, but there are lots of less priced small items!
I was excited to visit the store today since I had wanted to go for awhile but am never in Ann Arbor. Today with my sister and friend we entered the store and as I looked around at peices a little girl (assuming owners daughter) followed me around. It was obvious she wanted to make sure I did not take anything. It made me feel very uncomfortable and mostly very saddened to be treated that way. Needless to say I left the store and did not finish my shopping and will not visit again. I just hope that future customers do not have to be subject to that type of mistreatment and judgment.
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. My husband and I enjoy each visit we make to the store. Planning our trip to Tibet with them. ;^)
You pay for quality here worth the stop 100%
Wonderful experience with very helpful employees (=
I really like the incense they sell, its a very nice shop with very friendly people, and their prices I think are pretty good for a downtown A2 shop
Brought a salt lamp...the cashier told me it didnt come with the cord (what?). A lamp with no cord? I thought she was joking. The cord was an extra $5. When I got home I thought she at least included the bulb.. nope no bulb. I hate to ask how much extra that was... LOL.
Interesting store with unique selection of goods.
Unusual things, very nice people
Good variety.
Fun trinkets
Nice gifts
