As an autistic adult, I try and help (as best I know how) those who are non verbal or have other disabilities leading them to possibly suffer worse from problems like my experience. After reading the owners reply, I not only was made to feel so much better that there ARE people who are understanding, but my feelings were validated. Thank you to the owner and I hope more people understand the disability lanyard to help those Im trying to help. Because of the understanding now on both mine and the owners parts, I have changed my rating from 2 to 4 stars. I’m an aircraft mechanic by trade, and an average auto mechanic, so I know just enough about cars to judge when a repair facility is honest. Dusty was my first interaction with a BMW service center, and Dusty is the reason I keep going back. Dusty’s honesty and professionalism also led to my decision to buy two more used BMWs. In my profession in aircraft engineering, it is important to paint an accurate picture to the customer. Dusty makes sure my car is looked over even for something as simple as an oil change, gives me a detailed run down of what they noticed, and gives me an honest appraisal of what maintenance is crucial and what can be delayed. I took the time to write this detailed review because I want to make sure other customers see all five stars and my highest recommendation for Dusty.For those of you who are tech savvy, here’s a detailed rundown on why I bring my BMWs to Dusty:I bought an ‘08 535i while living in Fresno, CA. I never considered taking her to a dealership because I heard so many horror stories on BMW forums. She had a rough idle, and I took the advice of folks on the Bimmer forums and changed out all the cheap parts first: pumps, filters, injector seals, even a walnut wash, nothing worked. I moved to Michigan and decided to bite the bullet and take it in to the dealership. Dusty and his team gave me a detailed rundown of the issue and suggested fuel injectors, the most expensive fix. I bought all new injectors and swapped them out myself, but when I tried to code them, the tool I used zeroed out the codes and she wouldn’t start. I brought her back in to Dusty, they coded the injectors, and then had to code other components as well (this thing really did a number on the vehicle computer), but only charged me for coding the injectors. When I went to pick her up, she purred like a brand new car. One year of frustration solved. I spent almost $3k fixing “the cheap stuff” when the $175 diagnostic fee would have saved me at least $2k.The same car (named her Lizzy) had an issue with the control arms. When I first moved to Michigan, I took her to a local shop in Ann Arbor who quoted me $1200 to change both arms. Since Dusty and his team already had Lizzy in the shop, I asked them to take a look. They told me both arms weren’t bad, just one of them, and it wasn’t so much bad but just loose (likely due to being on the trailer during the move). They did the maintenance for around $400 and it’s been perfect since. Another $600 saved.My wife wanted a new car and fell in love with a 2012 X5 (named her Giselle, good German name). We bought it at a Chevy dealership, and took it to Dusty to have it looked over. Dusty had his team do (I’m guessing) a compression check and found the dreaded valve stem seal issue. Bad news, but Dusty didn’t leave it there. He called BMW USA and fought on my behalf to get BMW to help out with an engine replacement cost. He then did the research to find a used engine in Texas that they could swap out, driving the overall cost down. I planned to sell the X5 at this point so I did some research on my own and did not find anyone around here willing to do the job for a penny cheaper. So while there was no money saved here (it’s still sitting in my garage waiting for me to figure out what to do), Dusty once again earned my trust that if he does the research, it’s the best estimate I’m going to get.Since that vehicle was toast, we bought a newer 2012 535i. I brought it to Dusty to have an oil change, and as usual Dusty and his team gave it a full look over. He called me earlier today to give me a rundown of the issues, and let me know which needed to get fixed now and which ones could wait. One of the dangers he warned me about (getting the oil filter gasket changed for a leak) was oil leaking onto the belt, causing the belt to disintegrate and get sucked into the motor. Any other time I’d have said that’s a load of BS, except this exact same thing happened on my ‘08 535i in the exact same way that Dusty predicted, so once again, Dusty knows his stuff.

Was told bring car in at noon they should have it out that night.Car didnt go till next day after 1.and I believe they still didnt do what I asked them too do..They turned engine light off half hr showed right back up!! Definitely will not go back but will get a second look asap

I did not purchase any of my BMW s from this dealership for the lack of friendliness from the sales associate.Raymonds has left me with a better experience and will strongly consider my next purchase with this dealership.

Been there a couple times, for recalls and services.Never got the best services. This time I stopped within a appointment because I had a problem with my hood, wouldnt open anymore. Was completely ignored, I had to listen to 2 guys about their weekend adventures ( they both saw me waiting they just didnt care) sales floor guys looked at me, ignored me, mechanics greeted me but of course couldnt help me of course, finally a person from outside come in and couldnt ignore me, I made sure. He sighted 🤔, I explained the problem and he barely listened. Yeah we may could do something but not this week, maybe Monday.Never again! The disrespect, I might send my husband or son there but I will never go there again. And most definitely not buy a car there and Im in the market for a new BMW. There a different BMW dealers
The sales team is very nice. I felt very welcomed and respected. Had a chance to work with Blerim. He is very polite, knowledgeable, patient, and not pushy at all. He accommodated me on a short notice couple times. I also worked with Alex a year ago or so. Both were wonderful people, setting a new standard of kindness and professionalism towards their customers. Ive not tested my negotiation skills with them yet but lets wait and see the results of my wide search for a new BMW to my household.

Fantastic experience. We worked with Blerim Nici to customize and build an M car. Blerim was extremely helpful in sorting through all of the options, texting back and forth with us about everything from tire selections to the color of the brake calipers. Hes a true car guy, and knew far more about the cars than we expected. We never felt the slightest bit pressured, and the entire experience was a pleasure. We worked with MANY salespeople at many different dealerships before deciding on a BMW, and Blerim was far and away the most helpful and easy-going that weve worked with. Just picked up our new 430i convertible. Everything was perfect. We found the car online but we live 150 miles from the dealership. We called our Advisor, Blerim Nici, and asked if he could take a couple of quick photos of the car. This was on a summer Saturday afternoon, just minutes before closing time. Within 30 minutes Blerim sent us a fantastic video of the car inside and out! The following Monday we made the 300 mile round trip to buy the car. Blerim you’re the best! Ray and Carol represent the service department and are so helpful with everything! It was my first time in the service department and I did not know what to expect. It’s a little strange when you first pull inside because there isn’t a traditional service desk area. But soon you are greeted and realize they come to you....
I have a BMW i3 electric car.Service is great for traditional simple things like changing tires, oil, or wiper blades.But, for more complicated issues like vehicle charging it does not seem like they know what they are doing.They dont know what low cost charging is or the difference between a level 2 charger vs a level 1 charger.This will be a challenge for moving forward when people have more electric vehicles.
Took care of both the drivers side and passenger side airbag recalls quite promptly on my 02 330CiC. Couldnt have been a more pleasant experience!

Bought my 330i wagon there about two months ago and had a very nice experience. Stopped in with virtually no notice yesterday because it was throwing a door open error, resulting in the dome light staying on and not allowing me to lock the vehicle. They got me in right away, were very professional and replaced the faulty door latch within two hours.Great service! (Also grateful the vehicle is still within the CPO window.)I also like that there are a fair number of women who work there, and I never feel talked down to by the men. Thats a thing at a lot of dealerships and service centers.

Darin Locks is a knowledgeable and patient person to purchase a new or used car from. This month two of my family members bought BOTH a new and used car and it was their first time working with a dealership. They both enjoyed their experience and felt they got a quality deal.
This is specifically to those looking for someone to care for your Mini since the mini dealer in Ann Arbor closed. Do Not Use Them! Ray was the fourth person I spoke to and the only one who actually helped me, so the two stars is just for him. However, they are wildly overpriced, and I’m upset I didn’t do my due diligence. If I had driven to the mini dealer in Southfield today for my routine brake maintenance I would have saved $350, at minimum. The prices for routine mini services are listed right on the mini website- they are totally transparent with this. There was some maintenance I declined, and I’m glad I did. They wanted to charge $150 to change an air filter that is no more difficult than changing a filter on your furnace. Mini charges $40 for the same service. Don’t get robbed. Stay very far away. Learn from my mistake.

By far the worst and last experience ive ever had at a dealership was bmw of ann arbors. talked to people on the phone and got nothing but attitude after attidue. everytime i asked a question was almost getting yelled at. went in the next day and had even worse experience with inexperienced receptionist who told me she didnt know the answer to my question and then tells me its above my pay grade nothing but sass from everybody i talked to. NEVER will i get my bmw serviced at stealership.

On our way to Petoskey, Michigan from Akron,Ohio on Monday, February 15, 2021 our BMW X5 right rear tire (run-flat tire) completely lost tire pressure ... we were 17 miles north of Ann Arbor.We contacted BMW of Ann Arbor, who immediately ordered a new tire from the closest possible source. We limped to BMW of Ann Arbor (at 35 MPH).They (Dusty Harrison and the BMW Team) embraced our situation (and our two Boxer dogs that we had onboard) and got us back on the road a few hours later.After the unfortunate luck of experiencing the punctured tire, BMW of Ann Arbor, and Dusty Harrison, made our day go as good as humanly possible.“Special Thanks” to BMW of Ann Arbor and Dusty Harrison.
Way too expensive for what they did!!
