I was very impressed with my entire experience! Rod was very kind to allow us to test drive two different vehicles, and corresponded with me over the next few days about one of the cars I was interested in.I came back several days later to purchase an A5, which he had detailed (again!). When it came time to discuss price, he made me feel very comfortable and was quite amenable throughout the negotiation process. Financing was painless as well, it was a very positive experience overall.This is my first Audi, and I am very happy with this experience. I highly recommend Audi Ann Arbor for a fellow first time Audi buyer!

I showed up with 30 minutes to get to the airport with a nearly flat tire due to a nail. 😩 The team rushed me in, put my car up and patched the problem in 10 minutes! All for free AND I made my flight! What great service!!! Great Audi dealership here in Ann Arbor!!

During my 3-years of ownership of Audi A4, I would not recommend this place to any of my friend. The car has all kinds of failures, AEB sensor failure, tire pressure failure, frequently worn tires even I followed every recommended maintenance procedure (30000 miles city-highway driving). Service department asked me purchase a brand new rear left tire, however it fails within 1 month. I am stuck at home and can go nowhere until Monday, also its very hard to schedule a service appointment, which takes me at least 2~3 calls each time. Comparing with my Ford vehicle, Audi costs me much more and wastes tongs of my time. So disappoint with so-called Luxury Brand, will never come back again

Worst experience ever! Purchased a vehicle and they couldn’t get the paperwork correct so 2 months later I returned the car. Tommy has no customer service skills, does not return your calls or does what he says. Very disappointed!! Beware!!

Bought my Audi through the dealership, but experienced a car accident shortly after. After repairs (at a separate place), my car came back with intermittent issues that eventually led it to break down. At first, it felt very frustrating, but working with the great team at Audi, we were able to figure out my car issues at minimal cost and inconvenience. Would definitely recommend them for the awesome customer service and beautiful car selection!

We were passing through Michigan midway through a major road trip and were fortunate enough to connect with Audi of Ann Arbor.Joe and Nick at the service department squeezed us in for an assessment of our Q7 which had a suspension warning light on. It took a bit longer than we had hoped—having to come back a second day—but once he had a chance to look at it their tech wunderkind Chase quickly figured out the issue.Thanks to their efforts we were able to go on our way with the peace of mind knowing exactly what the issue was—and the number for the part we need to order ahead to get installed by Audi at the next major town along our travels.Thanks guys!

I’ve been bringing my A7 to Audi Ann Arbor for the last two years. My wife recently purchased a Q7. In all those visits I can say the service and professionalism has always been top notch. Consistency is difficult in this field but Joe and the rest of the folks at Audi have been fantastic. Every time I come in Joe details what needs to be done and promptly follows up with me. So Pat, the service manager I believe, was great. He was very honest with me about the services and repairs. I felt that he was a good steward of my money. It was clear to me his objectives were to treat me fairly, keep me safe on the road and to get me the most out of my care plan. Great attention to detail. After owning several Audis I talked the brand up to my girlfriend. After looking at a couple other similar models we went to this dealer. Initial customer response was non-existent. We wandered the showroom floor as there was no one at the front desk. The only way it seemed to garner any attention was to stand near the R8 on the floor. This did prompt someone to come and ask what we were looking for. We told them and they said would go check the back and went off to do so. After a few minutes later of standing near the R8 a second salesperson came and asked if they could help. We spoke with them briefly which they were confident that were none of the model we wanted and we should return when the new model arrives at the end of the year.In short I have never been ushered out of a car dealer so quickly. They never asked for contact information, never gave their name and didnt offer any real assistance except an admittedly out of date pamphlet with business card attached. I can say with confidence I havent purchased my last Audi, but you can bet on the dealer it wont be purchased from.

The tire pressure sensor lit up on my drive into work. I stopped by Germain Audi, without an appointment, to see if they could look at it. The service desk had a porter bring the car around immediately, they topped off all four tires and brought the car around...freshly washed...in less than 15 minutes. Fantastic, friendly and helpful service.

Im on my 2nd Audi S4 (went from 15 to 18) from Audi Ann Arbor and this dealership is great. Steve helped me on the sale of the 18 S4 and he was very knowledgeable about the vehicle, and got me exactly what I wanted in a matter of weeks.Desirae and Joe are awesome in the service department, I never left this place unsatisfied or with a feeling that I was being ripped of. Even after I moved out of Ann Arbor Im never going to give up this dealership. 10/10 from me!

I am on my third Audi from this dealership and come back because of the service team. They are experienced and deliver on their commitments. After I dropped my car for basic service this week, I decided to get new tires. I called Pat and he had it worked out by the afternoon. The tech stayed later to ensure it was finished and I could pick up the car after hours. The price was competitive. The service experience at a dealership can make or break a brand - give this group a try.

My wife took our Audi last week in for a car wash, when it was really cold. The technician there was not fazed by the weather, and still was very methodical in washing and drying the car by hand. My wife was really touched by the dedication of the staff. I also had a great experience buying the car, with their salesman never being pushy for a sale, like Ive seen at other dealerships. Drove there today for 30 minutes to see an A7 only to be informed I cant because it hasnt been detailed yet. Funny that its already on the site with a price listed and no disclaimer about not being able to see the car. Rather than allow me to see it I was informed oh, you dont want to see it now. So, 30 minutes each way wasted, annoyed and with a response like that Im not impressed. The last slap in the face was a salesperson handing me a business card and telling me to call him next week to see if its ready. Im stunned that nobody asked for MY name or to call me but rather place the burden on me. Fortunately it is not the only Audi dealer around and Im frankly disappointed.

We purchased our Audi Q3 from Audi of Ann Arbor. We worked with Barry Strecker from the sales team and couldnt be happier about our experience. Barry was as clear and straightforward as possible regarding all aspects of the deal. He was very prompt in answering all our questions via phone or email. The best part is that he was never pushy about selling the car to us. He just gave us the information and his opinion on how we should proceed. He gave us the space we needed to make an informed decision. Even after the purchase was complete, Barry still offered his continued help in resolving an issue we had. He resolved the issue in no time. We highly recommend asking for him when planning to purchase a car from this dealership.The only reason why Im giving Audi of Ann Arbor 4 stars, despite Barrys 5 star service is because we didnt have a great experience working with the finance department.

I have 2 Audis purchased from Germain, and Ive been very happy with both the sales and service teams. I recently had my older A4 in to replace a thermostat, and my S4 in for a transmission fix. I worked with Joe Gruss in the service department and was treated very well. The work was done on time and within the estimated cost range. Joe even polished up the grungy wheels on my S4 by himself before hed let me drive off. Great team!

I have say that my overall experience with the current sales team was fantastic. My initial email had been responded to within a half hour by Kevin the internet sales manager. He had arranged for Zach to be my sales associate, and I even received a call from Kashaka the business manager. I traveled 3 hours to Audi of Ann Arbor, for 2 reasons. They were interested in selling a vehicle, and a level of respect for my time and interest that was unmatched by a couple of other dealerships. Overall, very impressed with my experience here.

Walked in hoping to make a large purchase and become a Audi brand owner, as well a loyal customer. As I walked in not one sales representative came to evan greet and notice me and my wife. I walked around seeing if anyone was available. But of course people simply ignored us. We had went to other dealerships and had received much better service. I recommend Mercedes, BMW or a used car dealerships at least.

When I came to Germain Honda I was looking to purchase my first new car. As soon as I came in Dwayne made me feel very comfortable. As a younger woman buyer, I dont think I am always taken as seriously or appreciated as much as a more experienced or male buyer, but at Germain this was not the case; I felt valued and taken very seriously! Though I dont have a lot of experience looking at/picking out cars, I didnt feel stupid. Dwayne took all of my questions and thoughts into careful consideration and gave me great answers. I also dont have a lot of experience negotiating pricing, but Jim and Dwayne really worked with me to figure out a fair price along with some great bonuses from the service department. Since purchasing the car, Ive not only enjoyed driving it, Ive also enjoyed Dwaynes availability in continuing to answer my questions. Just because the purchase has been made, the relationship does not end; I didnt expect that and I am very happily surprised.

After an accident, I found myself suddenly and unexpectedly in the market for a pre-owned car. Audi of Ann Arbor was the fourth or fifth dealership I visited, but they managed to win my business for a few reasons. First, the car was in better shape than the cars at other dealerships. Their detailing department did a really good job of cleaning the car, which made me feel confident that the service department did a great job as well. It looked brand new! Second, the salesperson, Roderick, was extremely helpful without being pushy (an important quality in a salesperson!). Third, they beat the interest rate that I had gotten from my bank. Brian from the finance department was very nice and laid out the available options for extended warranties and vehicle protection without pushing me to buy something. I ended up buying fabric and windshield protection because he laid out the benefits of each, and they made sense to me. All in all, I will definitely return to Audi of Ann Arbor the next time Im in the market for a car!

I bought a used Honda Accord from them. I loved the care & concern I got from the salesman; he worked VERY hard to get me the car I wanted.Trust Clifton to help you! I had no problem with anyone at the dealership, in any way. Mr Cooper is a very nice man and if he hears that any salesperson or manager doesnt treat the customer right, woe to them! I let him know how much I liked my salesman and I have since gotten service there several times. It was done right, and I know Ill have a good car for a long time. This is the place to buy a Honda! Avoid Victory like the plague, they cheated me very badly on a used car, and refused to honor the warranty.

Purchased a new 2012 A8L from this dealership in May 2013. My sales agent Chris Hamm was excellent, responsive and respectful. I had some very enjoyable test drives with him. On one such drive we actually got a finger from a van we passed on the expressway - it was hilarious - it was fun. Trisha Smith the sales manager was also very helpful. JP Lammers the General manager was very straightforward and made the deal happen. Overall an excellent experience. Hoping for a great service department to keep my Audi healthy and well. I am enjoying the car very much. A few minor issues with the car have cropped up. In constant communication with Audi Customer Service. They have been great with followup and hopefully sort these things out in the upcoming month.

Worst car buying experience in a long time. Took our salesman 4 days to get the correct paperwork to our bank. Then my husband takes a day off work to be able to go pick the truck up and they tell us there was mysteriously some work that had to be done. So after telling us we were set and him missing work this wiring issue has turned into a 3 day fix. Sad when you pay 52k for a truck and they cant be honest with you. It makes me wonder if there was even an inspection done when they took it on trade. Supposedly they are going to deliver it to us tomorrow evening guess we will see. Not off to a good start on this deal.

After many poor experiences at Howard Cooper Audi, I decided to give Germain a chance to earn my business.Nothing had changed. Of the service employees there, only one seemed to even care that I existed. The others were not only unwilling to help me with my issue, but seemed indifferent that I was even at the service counter.They dont offer service loaners for major service either. Really? This is an Audi dealership? Ive been to 6 dealerships in various states and this is the only one that hasnt had loaner vehicles available for major service appointments. Most people dont have a second car and the inability to provide a service loaner basically makes it impossible for me to have any work done there, because I cant get to work afterwords.I bought some parts there to fix some minor issues, and brought the tools with me to accomplish it right there on site. Turns out, I didnt have everything I needed, and ended up being stranded there. Fine, my mistake, I guess Ill have to pay them to take care of it.Well, after ponying up to have the work done, the service tech came to inform me that Id need to pay for another part that they broke in the process of fixing the original part. How is that my problem? When I refused to pay for their mistake, the service manager became very upset and tried to explain that it must have been an aftermarket part and my mistake. When I explained that everything on the car was original and stock, that I had been the original owner since the car came off the boat, and that all my work had been done at Audi dealers, he didnt believe me. When I told him Id be happy to call Audi of America and explain the problem, he finally agreed to eat the cost of the $12 part.Overall, nothing has changed here. I will not buy a car, parts, or service my car at this dealership EVER AGAIN.Do yourself a favor and drive the extra 30 minutes to Farmington Hills where they treat you right every time. How this dealership manages to receive praise is beyond me. Ive given them so many chances that I feel ashamed of myself for being so gullible as to think theyd ever improve.

When looking for a new car, I stopped in here to check out an audi. I Was at the dealership for a total of about half an hour, and got in and looked at a car on the showroom floor, along with going out side, and getting in one there as well. During this entire time, not a single person came to ask me if I needed help. Even when getting the attention of a service rep who was on the phone, since no one else seemed to be around, he never came over to me to see what I needed.

I will not return to this dealership. After my experience here with Barry, I may not even purchase the Audi brand.My husband, 10-month old daughter and I went to this dealership on last Saturday for our scheduled appointment. I had scheduled it with another salesman but he had informed me that he would be out of town on Saturday and that When I arrived, I would meet with Barry. I even had my bank send over my car loan pre-approval. I was ready to purchase.When I arrived, Barry was not waiting to greet us, and when he did make his way to the front, he didnt seem to know which vehicle I was there to see, didnt have any paperwork pulled, didnt really seemed knowledgeable about the process. In fact, turns out the car had an open recall and couldnt actually be delivered until fixed, which I had to point out to him.When he finally figured out which car I was there to see, he walked is over and opened the door. He did not describe any of the features of the car. He did not offer to help us when I mentioned that we wanted to see how the car seat and stroller would fit in the car. I asked him if I could test drive the car, he of course didnt offer to take m on a ride and show me the best way to test the cars features. When I returned, I mention led that I wanted a more upgraded vehicle. I asked him about the mid-size sedans on the lot and if he could give me a price range of the certified pre-owned that he had in stock. When I asked him for the price range he stated, somewhere between nothing and something. At that point, I knew that he was obviously not interested in helping me and that I would not be buying a car from this dealership, that day, or any other.I have been doing a lot of dealership visits, Acura, Lexus, Audi, BMW, etc. and this was the only dealership where I felt completely disregarded. Barry needs to take some customer training classes or perhaps if he is not feeling as if he is wanting to service customers, he should find a new job.

Worst experience in sales EVER, stayed positive, thought service would be ok....first experience TERRIBLE, again, I thought Ill give them one more shot, after this last one never again. I ordered a Q7 TDI S line-one of my employees recommended me to Germain as he knew the manager, they gave me a salesman, I ordered the car, the salesman never returned my calls, 4 weeks later I got fed up and called the dealership, and was informed that he was no longer with the company. Youd think they would call and let me know? It took them DAYS to prep a car once it came in, finally got the car. When it came time for my first service/oil change. 4 weeks is what I was told, that is how long the wait was? I sucked it up and waited. At 13,000 miles the oil light came. I called the service department, they told me to bring it right in-I got there and nobody knew anything about it....They put a quart of oil in it, said it was low and no big deal. The oil light came off, and I took there word, even thought I thought that was steep that it took that much oil. 2 weeks later, the oil light AND check engine light came on. I was with the car in the UP, and had a family member call to schedule me, as I was taking the car on a trip in 2.5 weeks, and I know they are always out forever. He called then and they said the 3rd, he said that would not work as I was leaving for vacation with the car on the 28th. They said they would work on getting me in earlier, and that they would call me. I had to take a different vehicle on my trip. I called there this morning, they said oh ya, you missed your appointment on the 3rd? I told them I was out of town and they knew that, and even if I did supposedly miss it, why didnt they call me to confirm as they always do. They gave me the number they were calling, which was one of our stores other locations, he said he was leaving messages there, which wasnt accurate because they would have given him my correct number. Long story short, he told me they are out 3 weeks but he will talk to the dispatcher and try to get me in early. I called another Audi dealership that I did not buy from, and they got me in today. Same day service! This was a prime example that the cheapest price is never the way to go. I rarely leave reviews but this is just too much not to share. Several of my customers from Ann Arbor have now told me the same thing. Audis are phenomenal vehicles, and its sad that this dealership handles things the way they do, because Audi is supposed to have A+ dealerships. Germain just spent MILLIONS on a new facility, youd think they would have expanded their service department to have normal lead times, nobody should wait 3-4 weeks for service let alone an oil change.

New Car VW Sales: In April 2011, I had been researching VWs and decided on a 2011 4-door Golf TDI w/ Cold Weather, HID & Manual Trans. I was ready to buy the car, and had financing in hand from my bank. I was willing to finance from VW if they offered it, since dealers get incentives from VW of America for financing. I went to Howard Cooper in the evening to negotiate ordering the vehicle, since they keep a very low inventory of vehicles. I spent over an hour there, trying to negotiate in good faith on a price that allows them profit and gets me a good deal. They said they only get 2 TDIs per quarter, and cant negotiate on them. In frustration, I finally gave up and walked away. They would have had the easiest sale with me. I had test driven at another dealership out of state, and already knew exactly what vehicle and options I wanted. They literally would have had to do nothing but paperwork to get the sale! One weekend later, I bought the exact vehicle that I wanted from VW of Langhorne in Pennsylvania. I drove out there to pick it up. It was a pleasure working with them. I would not recommend purchasing a new VW from HowardCooper.VW Service Dept: Acceptable. Havent had any problems. Crappy hours which is typical of German car companies (no Saturday mornings).VW Parts Dept: Mediocre. They dont give out part numbers over the phone, per their bosses policy.

Same experience as Pablo. I was going to buy a TT for my girlfriend, however after waiting almost 10 mins, finally a sales came to us. I asked for a test drive, apparently I didn’t have a chance to drive it. I am a BMW owner, seems like sales work for all luxury brands have bad attitude.

I went in here when shopping for an Audi. The sales person told me he doesnt carry any manual transmissions because nobody knows how to drive them. I got my Audi from a different place. But now when I need service I call and leave a message (or e mail) with the service department and they never get back to me. I think Im giving up on them. Too bad because its close to my house.
