I am like a kid in a candy store in this place! Its so much more convenient than going to a big box store where you park a mile away and walk another mile around the store searching for two items! Plus the staff is so friendly! At least 3 employees asked me if they could help in anyway! Always been a fan! Keep up the good work!

First time coming very surprised with the size of it. It has a lot of every day needs from: candy, food, painting, household cleaning supplies, if you needed a Christmas gift. They are worth coming in and checking out it’s not as large as the other is hardware but they have a nice holiday wonderland that’s kind of tucked off so you can go inside and have a Christmas experience it’s cute it’s a fun place to take the kids while you’re doing the shopping.

Ace has it when nobody else does. Staff are super helpful and nice.

This place is my favorite. All the small project tools I need and a good array of kitchen gear. They even sell my favorite flavored coffee and have a grinder. They have good prices, and the folks there are actually helpful and friendly with actual practical experience and knowledge on how to use what they sell! But seriously though check out their coffee, its excellent.

The Anchorage True Value Hardware is truly the community hardware store. Meeting friends and browsing with a free cup of coffee is great way to spend a slow morning. I really enjoy finding what I need at a hardware store down the street from my home. Ace is the Place with helpful hardware person. Brad got me out of a pinch when Big Green Egg wouldn’t ship a heavy and fragile part to AK. Brad included what I needed in another order and I was able to get part with minimal shipping cost. In return we bought a years supplies for our fish camp.

If youre gift shopping I highly suggest looking around, they have a little of everything and tons of cute stuff. Lots of helpful employees, amazing service, except the blonde lady with braided hair who swore at us for not making eye contact(in our culture unnecessary or excessive eye contact is considered rude). But this place is a cute little wonderland shop hiding in the corner of anchorage, worth trying out at least once. Got this cute magnet motion butterfly for the cars armrest

Bought a hose that was in slot that side 16.99. When I get to counter it was 30.00. Poor inventory control. Last time buying at ace.

On the outside doesnt look like a very big store On the inside had a lot of items well organized easy to find. A little bit of everything was found in the store from kitchen items to tools to outdoors furnishings.

The people who work there are very helpful. They gave my dog treats and she loved them.

Great store with helpful, experienced staff. Anchorage Ace Hardware does a great job of filling the role of a neighborhood hardware store. I have never had any trouble finding an employee to help me--and not just point me towards an aisle and send me on my way. They will stand there with you and talk you through your problem and make sure you find what you need.A recent example was a very specific gasket I needed for my boiler, which failed in the middle of winter on a Saturday evening. Two employees took time out of their day to go through their stock of gaskets until we found one that worked. Their helpfulness saved me the hundreds of dollars I would have paid to have a repair man show up on an emergency call-out over a $1.50 part.They have a great selection, carry products you cannot find at the big-box stores, and also have a nicely curated, rotating selection of seasonal and household products.

This store has everything you can imagine. And the nicest cashiers and they are so helpful!!! Love love this store!!!

This store is in neighborhood and independent ly owned. They have items other store have been out of stock for months. Prices are par with the competition with lots of parking. They have an excellent selection of items to choose from, there is a very good chance they will have what you need. Parking is easy with other stores in the mall.

What a gratifying alternative to the Big Box home improvement stores. Helpful and knowledgeable staff, easy to navigate, good prices and well stocked. AK hardware almost always has what I came for.

So I had been told that the zero gravity chair was on back order and that they would hold for me. I had called that they where still on hold. Drove to the over side of town to find out that they sold them. Didn’t offer me anything.

On the top of my list of places to shop! Its not just hardware and automotive. They have some of everything, including hard to find items: old time candy brands, seen on TV products, a great kitchen gadgets room, condiments and spices, Alaskan made products. Some very good bargains, most prices very competitive. Always helpful, friendly service!

This is a great store with a little bit of everything you might need or didnt even know you needed. The staff is friendly and very helpful. This store has a entire section devoted to cooking and canning supplies for the do it yourself types.

Normally I experience EXCELLENT service here but today was a little different. I asked if they carry any sauces and one of the older ladies at the front desk sharply states we dont carry any sauces and walks away.So I then turn around and there is a rack of sauces right behind me in addition to quite a few other sauces over in the grilling section...Not sure what was going on here as to why she didnt want to take the time to even look or ask someone else if she wasnt sure but I was extremely put off and decided not to buy anything at all. I was planning on picking up some storage containers while getting some sauces but Ill just go down to Fred Myers instead.

This is a true Neighborhood hardware store. I went in without a clue how to repair a fiberglass topper and was going in to spend $100+ on a sander and completely wrong adhesive. I walked out of there with a step by step process on how to repair fiberglass, sanding options that work for my project and only $90 in supplies. If you don’t know how to begin your project, this is the place to start.

My favorite store for just about anything you could need. From kitchenware, tools, grills, garden supplies, furnace filters, nuts and bolts and cleaning supplies. The list is enormous! Truthfully the friendliest and most helpful staff in Anchorage. 👍👍👍

Come home as hero.Update: Brought a thingydingy in because I made a mistake and found it at Bigboxdepot; and found out it didnt work with the associated/advertised gizmo at home. Hardware Deity at this real hardware store was saddened by my betrayal. After consoling my plight, Deity produced a proper thingydingy after brief search. Paid. Came home a hero once again.
