Very poor customer service skills at this store, if you have any problems beyond a simple return with physical paper receipt, prepare to move mountains to get solutions. We purchased a refrigerator in August and waited very, very patiently for two months before it finally arrived. However, everything went downhill very quickly on delivery day. The delivery company this Home Depot uses is dismal at best and ill-equipped to deliver a simple fridge. We contacted this store by phone to try and get help, but was basically told to kick rocks. Upon failing to reach a solution with the delivery guys and on the phone with the store; we tried going to the store in person. We spoke with front desk supervisor Kacie and expressed our frustration (come to realize we spoke with her too on the phone). She was very unsympathetic to our situation, faulting us for something we have never dealt with before or even had issues with before, and even tried to quietly enforce a $300 cancellation penalty on us when she processed our refund, saying its wholly our fault that the fridge did not get delivered. Then another front desk employee came up and even butted in to the conversation to express her opinion that we were in the wrong and that lots of other people come in with similar issues. Thats fine and acceptable if people come in with similar problems, but irrelevant to me as THE customer, especially if Im not dealing with you in the first place. The whole process was very demeaning and rather than try to help come to a solution, the employees chose to continually escalate the situation. I wanted to speak to the store manager, but then Kacie magically said that the manager waived the fee for us and basically expressed he/she had better things to do. This store does not value caring for their loyal customers plain and simple. The customer service desk staff needs some serious de-escalation training and customer service skills reevaluation. Id probably go out of the way to drive to other Home Depots or shop their competitors than return to this specific Home Depot.

Updated 2020 loved walking through the garden center taking photos being inspired by all the pretty colors. The staff are so friendly. parking is easy. Great prices2018- Great place has everything in my one place. Gardening center is so beautiful to walk through. They are always so very helpful and knowledgeable. Its easy to find what u need they have signs for every aisle and department. I like that they have discounted items in back of store too worth checking out. They have good return policy as long as you have your receipt. They also have a you scan so u can hurry pst people with big orders.

Home Depot has most everything I have ever needed to work on just about every part of my house. This summer I was into a lot of yard work and gardening. This location had everything I needed for the bulk of the work. There are even a lot of specialty products that I had no idea they sold. I seem to find myself here more and more.

The Home Depot is a great place to shop for all those home projects. In my opinion the Home Depot has the best selection and lowest prices in town. Unfortunately after numerous attempts I have found the information on the Home Depot website isnt always correct. If you find an item online there is a chance that you wont find it at the store - ever. I attempted to purchase a Belkin surge protector from (3) Home Depot stores in Anchorage that the website confirmed were in-stock and the store computer system (employee mobile devices) confirmed were in-stock, but no one could ever find them. Finally the employees are always learning like us, but at times there are no employees that can help you because theyre busy with other customers or you need an employee with specific training. I cant give a perfect score, but Ive had more positive experiences than negative ones. Fix that inventory issue and install buttons to call employees to the areas in the stores where a customer needs help. Thanks!If this review was helpful please click the Like button.

Drove across town because this Home Depot had cabinets in stock that I wanted to buy for the advertised price of $97 online. I went into the store, loaded up the cabinets, and went to check out, and when I mentioned the lower price the cashier had to ask someone about matching the price. The price in the computer showed $114. It eventually took 2 different cashiers who finally had to ask Mike (assume he’s the store manager of some sort). Mike came up the cashier and basically said “no” not even acknowledging me. The cashier then passed on the news to me and I declined buying the cabinets as I am not a fan of the bait and switch tactic. I then proceeded to approach Mike and ask him myself about matching the price and was quickly greeted by a condescending and cocky attitude. Mike didn’t care that their website (homedepot.com) showed a lower price and refused to match it. He then continued with the sarcastic and careless attitude towards me. I’ve spent close to $10k at just this Home Depot location and won’t be back. This isn’t the first episode at this place, but it will certainly be the last with me. I’d steer clear at all costs if you want any semblance of customer service in your shopping experience. Apparently they’re too good for my money.

Almost always have the parts for my projects. I find the wood products to be marginal unless you dug thru the stack, but love that I can buy molding and other wood products by the foot. I really like my Milwaukee power tools that Ive purchased here. I also love that I can bring my dog here while Im shopping....in the winter this is a warm place for me to walk the dog.

Ordered expensive custom order garage doors to help with our heating bill given we live in Alaska. Ordered our doors in July to give plenty of time to have them delivered and installed before the Alaska winter starts in late Oct.Long story short, they lost our doors and required me as a customer calling to find out that our doors were even lost before they could find them. It then took them blaming it on the installers and then the manufacturers for the delay and NEVER taking accountability for the fault despite the receipt of order being through HOME DEPOT!!This was ultimately a lesson learned in the large corporations not caring what the “lowly” customer expects. Only what they (Home Depot) gets out of it.It took 3x the amount of time to get the doors and installed. This amounts in hundreds of dollars of lost cost in heating to us. It would have been more cost, time and economically effective to support local business.THIS BIG BOX COMPANY DOES NOT = GOOD CUSTOMER SUPPORT DESPITE THEIR SHORTCOMINGS AND FAILURES !! They’re ultimately out to get theirs. Customer is not important if they get their money. NOTHING has been made more clear than this situation.For clarity, we bought the doors in July. Cold weather “winter” starts in Oct in Alaska. After follow ups, check ins and complaints, we FINALLY received them in mid January. This is 3x the amt of time it normally takes. Home Depot felt it only appropriate to offer WORDS of apology. They received their money so after that, they didn’t careSUPPORT LOCAL. THIS Bog box company doesn’t care enough to take care of the customer!!

I went in for a air purifier and was wanting something now so I went to Walmart and bought one there only to return it cause it blew out from the back. Went in this morning to purchase a 1/4 Rigid impact that was on sale. Found it easy, found a lady working to help with the item because it has a security tag no problem. She asks if Im ready to checkout and I say, Yes. She takes me to a self checkout and the girl scans my item, turns out its card only and Im paying cash. #1. She then takes the item to register 6 and I wait in line behind people that have an item with a partial tag and need to verify it. The checkout lady could have checked me thru while we waited several minutes to have a gentleman come out and verify the item. #2 As Im in line the lady who originally got the item for me looks at me with a confused face, I tell her I was paying cash and she said come with me. Pulled me out of line to take me to a register thats closed and was not operational. No offense Ive had enough. 40 mind for something I had in my hand in 10 is ridiculous. I was better off just going to the Abbott store, in and out in 10-15 minutes. Stellar service over there, Tudor not so much. Which is a big bummer because thats the big store with the inventory.Simply put missed opportunities for excellence in service, devils in the details.

REALLY SCARY. Just try to get around the door greeters ... they were 6 apart on either side of the constricted entrance, no masks, forcing you to walk within 3 from each one. The store staff had fewer than 5% wearing masks, and 9 out of 10 wore them around their necks instead of their faces!. None of the loaders had masks. Lots of whole families with little kids wandering around the store.The management has total blatant disregard for both the state and city standards! They have done nothing to train their staff. If you want to get, or spread COVID 19, go to Home Depot

I bought a $1000+ Husky toolbox there that had a bent drawer runner when I got it home. they refused to even replace the runner and let me put it on myself. they acted like they were doing me a favor just talking to me. this place sucks. Ill never buy anything from them again.

Had the primary things we were looking for where we expected to find them, or were easily findable using their Home Depot app on my phone. However, as is common with my Home Depot experience, there selection was surprisingly limited when looking for something specific. In this case, reflective tape, where they have tons of product without actually having much variety, e.g. six colors and two sizes of one type of tape when what I need is a different type of tape in any color or size.

Terrible customer service. Called to find out about availability of a snow blower attachment for a ride-on lawn mower tractor I bought back in July. It rang to the desk, someone transferred me to someone else, this person answered not knowing they answered the phone and had a customer on the line. “Hello! Hello” (no answer), and I can hear them talking to someone in the background. This happened twice, so frustrating! So now, I call back and ask to speak to a manager, this person was no help. The blower attachment online at Homedepots web site is showing that it’s “out of stock” and this manager was zero help in finding out if/when it will ever be available.What happened to Home Depot!? They use to have excellent customer service. Today, you will be very disappointed if you need info further than, “what aisle can I find duct tape?” It’s crazy to see this fast decline in customer care all while Home Depot is experiencing more profits in recent years than they’ve had in the history of the company. I’ve seen enough, I can take my money elsewhere and I suggest to whoever is reading this that they do the same.

Although I did not find what I wanted just got this very helpful. Several people approached me during my walk about and ask me if I need help. Way more helpful than the neighbor Lowes. The help desk looked up my item and it was sold out online also. But I was very happy with how attentive home Depot is. Dont expect the same from Lowes. Home Depot all the way!

I placed an order on line with the intent to use curbside pick up. I went the store yesterday and no one took my call. One employee came over and said he would grab my order. After waiting about half hour I left without my product. Later that day I received an email thanking me for picking up my order. I called the store afer the prompts for customer service the phone rang for 21 minutes nobody ever answered the phone. Today I went to the store again and a employee came to me without a mask. He could not find the order so I had to go in the store. The order was there but wrong size. So I then waited for thirty minutes for him to bring me the proper product. I will not use home depot on Tudor Rd. #1301 anymore.

Staff cant be bothered to even search their own inventory. The last three interactions Ive had with employees (all on different days) they not only dont know but cant be bothered to find out. Yesterday I showed an associate that 3 units of a product should be on the shelf but are not, they shrugged and directed me to customer service who then suggested I ask a floor associate. You guys are really off your game.

This is the main Home Depot in town. It is usually better stocked than the other 2. I like Home Depots website, its accessibility, and the locations. All that being said it is still just a Home Depot: dont expect a lot of professionals to be employed here.

All-star service from Ed in the flooring department. Set up a carpet measure, worked through several revisions of the order, and finalized it to more satisfaction and at less cost than anticipated. And, he worked through his quitting time without his chipper personality dimming a jot. Will come here first for my next flooring needs.

I needed to do a return and could not find my receipt anywhere. With everything opening back up, customer service people throughout anchorage have not been the most friendliest. Going into Home Depot I had low expectations of returning my stuff without the receipt but BOY WAS I WRONG. Colton M. Went above and beyond to return my items and HE WAS FABULOUS! Seriously the nicest and most helpful associate I have encountered in the past few weeks of literally going everywhere. We will 100% be returning to this location for all of our home renovation needs because of COLTON M. THANK YOU!
