This place is not open. Went there about a month ago and the place looks run down and nobody was there... there was a white work truck but nobody at the store. I can see in the reviews that there is pictures of the nice antique store thats actually across the street.

Perfect for DIYs!! The owner actually builds and restores furniture so there are extra table legs, table tops, extra parts ect and the furniture that has been restored looks great. Great place for certain people. Owner was very helpful and ended up buying my sons birthday gift here.

Definitely a diamond in the ruff!! If youre a scary person this place isnt for you, but if you love hidden treasures then youll love this place. The owner is excellent at making things and has made me a bench and custom barn doors, and all for an excellent price!!!!!

Not sure if he was the owner but the man with an accent made the entire visit really uncomfortable. My fiancé, and I went to look around and he stood us and asks me about my shirt (I was wearing a Disturbed band T-shirt) and then proceeded to tell me it’s demonic and then starting harassing us about not being believers of Jesus Christ. Mind you, all based off a shirt I was wearing. After he began getting rude that we wouldn’t discuss our private religious beliefs with him, we just turned around and walked out... while he muttered more rude comments. I mean assuming someone worships the Devil and then going off about it is a sure way to lose customers. 🤷‍♂️

This store is not for the people who are looking for the sterile, perfect antiques. Go to Westheimer for that. The best stuff is buried in the dark, dusty, daunting looking places, and this is IT!! The man who runs it is extremely talented in restoration and very, very friendly to people like me who appreciate the history in old things.

Disorganized and dirty. Strange chanting music played loudly. Owner did not look or speak to us. Other local business owners claim women have spoken of being uncomfortable in the store. No treasures here. Women - DO NOT go alone.

They have a sculpture of an angel, and a face carved in wood. I think the man (owner) is a sculptor or a carpenter. One of those enigmatic places where each creak of the wood when taking a step is an enigma to discover. I love the Antic Stores.
