I went in because of a noise coming from the back of my car. Turns out the heat flap under my car had come slightly loose, and they tied it right up. The representative was very friendly, and didn’t charge me at all because it only took 10 minutes to do. Overall, very nice and clean place, with friendly staff. Will recommend.

Got my brakes looked at and for once they were honest and told me I did not need brakes at this time. Got Audi, Q7, 2017, oil changed and they left the screws off the bottom engine baffle that caused it to break due to air going between. Caused the support brackets on both sides to break half way. The baffle alone cost us 402.00 at Audi for the part alone. The driver carpet got a black stain from the mechanic’s shoe . Our Audi is going on 4 years old and only has 35k miles and we take very good care it. Midas claims they can’t help with the damage .they told us to drive the car without the baffle. The baffle is there to protect rocks from hitting the oil cooler that is made out of plastic.Buyers beware of this shop as they are not responsible for their workmanship at your expense. Most expensive oil change we ever had to pay.

Whoever the white guy with glasses is, working on Saturday June 5th, 2021 at closing time in the office, is a complete disgrace to the entire company. Made a simple mistake and asked for a refund, which I wasn’t entitled to as I hadn’t paid yet, and was met with the most demeaning and obscene reminder of my blunder. All after he told me if I was there by 3:45pm he could do a diagnostic on my A/C system. He then called me 27 minutes later and said he would not be able to get it done today. Midas, you all got and lost a customer same day because of this man.

I needed an oil change and wheel alignment done to my car. I called about 5 places in my area to get pricing details and found that Midas was offering a special (even without the special they had the lowest pricing). I set up an appointment and dropped off my car early in the morning. Jeremy was really helpful and friendly. They performed a check on the car and he called with suggestions on other repairs/maintenance items that I might want. When I let him know I wasnt interested in the bigger ticket items mentioned, Jeremy was not pushy at all, which I appreciated.My car was ready quickly and Jeremy gave me a great rate! I Highly recommend this Midas location and their service.

They did a great job giving our car an oil change. They took our vehicle in right away with no wait and had it finished and ready ready for us to pay in 45 minutes. They did not give us any problems or hassles and did not try us with hidden fees. They gave us an upfront affordable price and stuck to that price. I would definitely reccomend this place for your next oil change.

They were busy a good sign, most seem happy, they are good at not pressuring people, they offered financing and they were 30 or more minutes early on my car. I will come back! Very good.

BEWARE !!!! If I could give this place ZERO stars I would because they aren’t worthy of even one star . I came in for an oil change and long story short a few days later my car stalled and I had to get it towed to the house. The check engine light came on and the oil change light came on, so once at my house, popped the hood and realized that the “technician” NEVER RECAPPED THE OIL CAP AND THE OIL HAD SPILLED ALL OVER MY ENGINE. Now my car is new, so fearing that I could’ve voided the warranty by having taken it to an outside shop like midas, I called my dealership and explained to them what happened. They were able to accommodate me into their schedule three days later and told me that because the oil change had not been done properly or capped correctly they would need to do another oil change and clean all the oil that spilled everywhere. It cost me $200 to get this done and when I reached out to Midas to explain what happened and request to have this issue worked out I was told by the manager Jeffrey there was nothing they would do to help me. EVEN THOUGH IT WAS HIS TECHNICIANS GROSS NEGLIGENCE THAT LEAD TO ME HAVE TO SPEND AN ADDITIONAL $200 ! I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND MIDAS TO ANYONE..especially not after the disgusting manner in which Jeffrey handled the situation - he LITERALLY LAUGHED AT ME WHEN I PROVIDED HIM THE PROOF FROM THE DEALERSHIP STATING THE OIL CHANGE WAS DONE NEGLIGENTLY ! Absolutely WORSE PLACE EVER ! I WOULDNT TRUST THIS PLACE AGAIN !

I was told by another auto shop that fixed a flat tire that I needed brake pads immediately. I decided to call Midas the next day. Jeremy got me in the same day. After they assessed my car I DID NOT NEED BRAKE PADS. THANK YOU, THANK YOU JEREMY. This is by far the best customer service experience I have had in a long time. Jeremy could have replaced the brake pads and charged me but he didn’t. You have my future business.

Manager Jeremy and Mechanic David were a dream. I was having an issue with my 2016 Challenger which a lip on my brake rotors making a noise while braking at high speeds. After going to Firestone and then trying to have me leave my car for two days for just the inspection then however much longer for the actual labor, Jeremy went ahead and had my car prioritized with the inspection and told me exactly what was going on. Open and honestly, charged me only $450 when Firestone up the street was charging me $1100. I definitely recommend going by and looking at them as your first option to get work done on your car. Their profession, honest and efficient with their work. Since leaving I’ve already washed my car and it runs even smoother than before thanks to the patience David demonstrated with his work on my car. I appreciate their services and will definitely be coming back when it’s time to modify my car!

This is my second time coming to this location and its always an awesome experience. The guys work with you if you are financially challenged and they get you in and out. The guy at the front desk is hilarious and a great peoples person. Its hard to find mechanics thats honest. I would recommend them anyday. Ill be coming back.

POOR SERVICE!!We had scheduled an appointment & the appointment was not clear in timing. It only had “4:30 - 6:00PM.” My significant other gets there and she instantly gets attitude & rudeness from the gentleman “helping” her. He rudely tells her that they close at 6:00 as she was trying to explain she had an appointment. Right off the bat we have employees with nasty attitudes. And for what? Because he doesn’t want to do his job that he’s being paid for...? Fast forward to payment. She had a coupon that she wanted to apply and kindly informed the employee. The man says “everyone always has a coupon,” giving her a hard time about it. Throughout the whole process, the guy was talking down to my significant other. This is unacceptable. The first remarks were one thing, but then even more afterwards? Talk about “great customer service” skills.I will NOT be coming here again. It’s a shame because it was our first time & we were eager to see what kind of experience they offered as we had horrible experiences with Pep Boys. Unfortunately, I was not impressed at all. I called, no answer. Left them a voicemail— we’ll see if I even get a call back. Also, I tried calling corporate, but they just put you in the waiting queue for minutes! I’m currently “on hold” for 15 minutes now. Wow oh wow. I’ve never been so disappointed in a business’ customer service.To sum it up, I highly recommend this place if you like to be treated poorly. Nobody within the company will care about your concernsDay 2District manager called me back this morning. All he did was explain why we were charged with synthetic oil when we needed conventional. He was constantly defending his own business & employees even though he wasn’t there to witness. A whole 10 minutes on why they were right, and why I was wrong. Not once did he try to make me feel better about the situation. In fact, he was constantly trying to talk over me as I was speaking. — with that being said, don’t bother calling corporate. They won’t do anything except forward it over to the district manager; who’s not a big help either. Middle of our call, he had me hold on because another customer had called in? Great service!! *sarcasm*You can always change a review, but unfortunately this place didn’t care enough about it.

After working all night at the hospital, my wife went out to her car and discovered the battery was dead. The folks at Midas took care of her quickly after the maintenance people at the hospital were unable to help.She got a jump, drove over to Midas, and the battery was installed pretty darn quick. She was then able to get home to some much needed sleep.Although she may have been a bit cranky, the staff at Midas was super nice.

I have serviced a few vehicles here and most recently my Acura. I went to Sanford Acura earlier int he day and had horrible service to the point where I asked for my car back!Midas in Altamonte is clean and welcoming from the moment you open the door. Jeremy is upfront, direct and detailed with the work that needs to be done to your vehicle, even if you dont understand he is patient with explaining the process to repair (I also watched him communicate with others over the phone and walk-ins in the shop). I will never ever go back to Sanford Acura!! Dont go here.They will give a wrong estimation and give bad service. I went to them to get fix my front wheel was making some noice they told that there was a bearing problem and gave estimation of 1000$ for replacing bearings and brake pads.After fixing new bearing still there was noice then mechanic replied i need to replace new tyres. Actually it was tyres problem not the bearings but they forced me to change bearing. They would have told me to replace the tyres instead of bearings. I will never suggest to go there and I learnt that I should take multiple opinions from different mechanics.

Ive taken my girlfriends car here for a year, and finally switched my car maintenance over to them as well. Ive been impressed and pleased at the service, timeliness, and quality of their work. For me the best is that Ive never felt them push the hardsale on something expensive and extra that wasnt imminently necessary (the bane of many auto repair shops in my opinion), and theyve always dealt fairly and openly with a clear cut, no BS assessment of what maintenance needs to happen and when. (Ive always dealt with the manager whose name I believe is Jeremy. Hes great)

These guys were great. They did top notch work. I had them do an alignment and its done perfectly. I normally dont let big chains work on my car like that but they have changed how I think of them now. They were $20 an hour cheaper than any other shop and they did the work quick. My car started misfiring and when I called to inquire about spark plug installation, Midas offered me what I believe was the most reasonable price. I arrived a little on the late side considering the work on my car would have taken a little over a hour, but Jeremy made the exception when I explained I started a new job the next day. I’m grateful for this team’s professionalism and willingness to help me out. I’ll definitely be going back and my sister, who was also with me, claims she will come to them in the future for work on her own car.

Jeremy at Midas was a true professional. I had a major exhaust issue and was quoted over $1100 to repair by another shop. Jeremy saw the issue and told me exactly what was needed. A flex pipe and a few perfect welds later and my service vehicle was quiet as a mouse. The best and refreshing aspect that it cost less than $200.00. I was so pleased that I wanted him to perform 4 other services that I had neglected. My vehicle is now perfect. Reasonable and professional was my experience. I have complete confidence in this shop. When things dont go right, he does his best to do anything in his power to help, whether is finding a ride for you or giving discounts that are approved. I was 30 miles away from home when i got a flat tire. I pulled up in the parking lot when they were closing at 6pm they saw i was in trouble and did not hesitate to help me out. They stayed late to fix my tire and i was able to get home with no problems.

Had MBRP muffler deletes installed on my 15 Mustang 5.0 this morning. Front desk service was excellent and the work was excellent. Great group of professionals. Id recommend them for any muffler work 100%.

Rude!! Hung up on me mid sentence. I called back and they did the same thing. I was simply asking how it was possible to be charged tax on just labor. I wanted to get my brakes fix and would be bringing the brake pads in myself. The rude guy says(I never got his name) if you were a business owner you would know that there is tax on Labor click!! I couldnt believe it. I called back to make sure that we didnt get disconnected on accident...and sure enough he did it again click! Unbelievable.

Had a tune-up done on my vehicle and they told me that my alternator was bad and I did not know my alternator was bad there was no reason for it to be bad. Once I left Midas several hours later my vehicle breaks down. I am a couple of hundred miles away from Midas had to have my vehicle towed and still paying labor hours on my guys driving the truck. How to get a rental vehicle for the guys to get back home and had a loss of work for a day on the guys. The other mechanic said a faulty alternator was installed in my vehicle.. I brought paperwork showing that I had the alternator replaced to Midas and they said that they cannot give me a refund that they do not have any money. They cannot put money on my credit card northa can they write me a check. He said he would have to get with his big boss and after he did this he says he does not know what they are going to be able to do for me since I did not bring it back to their particular location. Had I had it towed several hundred more miles were they going to pay for the tow truck? They are apparently not paying for anything. I called them for days ago and spoke with the manager and he did not get back with me until I walked into his office.. I would not recommend anyone at any time to take any vehicle to this Midas in Altamonte Springs unless you do not care about a warranty.. sad that people can be this way and rip-offs hard-working people.

I took my 1994 Volvo 850 here to have a oil change and I couldnt behappier with the job they did. I know you say how could they screw up an oil change ? but believe some places can. I brought them my own special filter (Mann) to use and told them exactly what I wanted done, no more, no less because Im very picky about how maintenance is done on my car and they followed my instructions to the letter. Not only that, but Junior and Kevin (the ones who greeted me and worked on my car) were very nice and easy to talk to so Im definitely going to be a repeat customer.
