Worst experience ever!!! We bought a 2021 Toyota Camry off of the showroom floor and paid cash. Weve had issues with car since day 1. No follow up after purchase. Only one person in Customer serviceEthan was friendly and tried to help. Will NEVER purchase another vehicle from there again!!! Weve purchased multiple vehicles and the sales person always follows up and if there was ever an issue they got it taken care of. Definitely not the case here!!

Really disappointed in our experience. My husband was working with someone over the phone as we are in Lafayette so we want to just pick up a vehicle and be on our way when we arrive. The salesperson quoted him the exact price as we saw online, does a video for us, plans to help us with our lease trade in and then they come back $200 over what they specifically quoted. We have near perfect credit, do not miss payments and just want to buy a truck. Then when my husband questions it, she says oh well we don’t offer the financing that is on the website? Then why is it on your website? And why on earth would you specifically quote from it and waste everyone’s time. We’re still buying a truck, but it certainly won’t be from you.
Do NOT purchase a vehicle from this place. Had a horrible experience with Grant Fralick, Sales Manager. He was rude and aggressive towards myself and my husband. They have lost business from myself and my family.

One of the best experiences we’ve had at a dealership and their service department. We live in Covington LA and on our way home from Shreveport after visiting our daughter we hit a tread in the road. Had the car towed to them at 10:00am. They not only looked at the car right away but did the minor repair right then. We were back on the road within 90 minutes. These folks are Rock Stars! And we live 200+ miles away and they treated us like we were longtime customers. Wish all dealership service departments were like them. Thank you Walker Toyota!

The rating listed above is incorrect and should be ZERO STARS. I had an appointment at 9:15 AM to install a fender liner and oil change. Someone quoted me that it would be 70 dollars to install it. I got there at 9 and Julianna checks me in and asks me if I want a shuttle I said no I would wait. I understand waiting a couple hours but i waited 4 HOURS. At 11 I asked her how much longer it would take and she told me all they finished the oil change and just needed to put the fender liner in. So i kept waiting. Once it was 12, I had been there for 3 hours I didn’t want to wait anymore. I went back up to her and I told her I just want to take the part I already paid for and get it installed somewhere else. She then tells me that it’ll only be 15-20 more minutes and he’ll get it put in. So I said if it’s more than 15 minutes I’m gonna leave. I really tried cooling down and tried to be understanding and waited until 12:45. 45 minutes after she told me it would be 15-20 minutes. I would honestly just rather not get told that if she doesn’t know. Then at the end she charges me 98 dollars for it and says she put in a coupon for me waiting so long.. that makes sense. I just paid for it because I wanted to leave so bad. I don’t care how long it was going to take, I appreciate the mechanic working hard and putting it in. I could’ve just left and care back to pick it up. I don’t like waiting somewhere for FOUR HOURS and getting told it’s almost done when I could’ve had it done somewhere else.

Had all the parts already to fix my drivers side door handle . Even did half the labor myself by taking the inside door off and unplugging all the connections and basically all they had to do was put the door handle I had already bought that fit the car model I have, into place . Wanted to charge me $300.00 just to do THAT!! Now I understand that your job isnt easy ...because I wouldnt be there asking if it was, but come on ....a little steep dont ya think ? Needless to say ...Ill figure it out myself! Hopefully 😆
I scheduled a appointment for my fuel pump recall (9am appointment time). I took it in and dropped it the night before because years ago I was told that if it was there when they open they would get right on it. They checked my vehicle in at 7:47am. I called and spoke with Juliana at 3:30pm. She stated it would be done by 5pm and offered to have a shuttle pick me up before 4pm because the shuttle driver gets off at 4pm. So I dropped it the previous night, they checked it in at 7:47am (9am appointment time), didnt start on it until after noon and offer to pick me up at 4pm and have me sit at the dealership until it is done at 5pm or a little after. This is not the first time I have had problems with this service department. Annnnnd there Tacoma oil change price is $20 more than the price at the Toyota dealership in Lafayette. Because they add tire rotation cost regardless of if you need rotation or not. I dont plan on going back unless I absolutely have to.

I dont hate it the mechanics that look at my car try to go the easy way instead of trace the wire he wanted to change the whole fuse box out cost was $5,000, still he wasnt sure that was the problem. But the problem was found cost me $300 big difference
They are very professional at Walker Toyota maintenance in Alexandria Louisiana. I set my appointment for zero 7:30 and I showed up maybe 15 minutes ahead of schedule and they took my car in right away for my oil change because I have a lease and I do it there so they could keep track of it in case I want to lease or buy another Toyota. I got seen right away it was sitting in a comfortable Lobby comfortable leather chair with ESPN on a big screen. What more can you ask for in the morning after working a 12-hour shift overnight with patients. They got them fairly quickly but my paperwork got lost in Shuffle because I saw they parked my car outside after its done and I had to wait about 25 minutes after its done before they called me to come get my car. The service woman apologized and said that the people got lost and she have to print it all over again and she was very accommodating and sincere. Mistakes happen and if thats the worst that happens then count your blessings. But whenever I go there I usually have a pretty good experience and the staff at the maintenance center is top-notch. They greet you very politely and make you feel welcome to be there. They have some complimentary coffee and some snacks in the morning for you to enjoy and even have a ride home for you in case you dont want to wait for your service to be completed. So if you need service at a Toyota dealership Walker wont be a bad decision.

Had a very bad experiences going to this dealership. I wanted to trade in my old car or get a new one. The employees are very unprofessional and don’t even bother to ask you if you have been helped or being helped! I wasted more than hour waiting there with no help. I drove back to Hixon dealership in Leesville, and they helped me a lot and got me a good deal on the purchase. I won’t recommend this place to anyone.

Called about getting cruise control added onto my Tacoma, Ive spoken to other dealerships but this one was closer so i tried to use them, they told me it wasnt available, i know that i was so i asked why the Toyota dealership in Shreveport could get it and they couldnt and the one in Natchez, Ms also could and they said that they would check and give me a call, after not hearing from them in about 2 days i called back and they said it was aftermarket only, and i told them that it was fine if thats what they had to do and asked them about the price of it and when it could be done, they said they would call me that afternoon and let me know the price and let me know about the time and date that I could bring it in, 3 days later after I didnt hear from them then I called again and they said they would contact me later that day and let me know, I still havent heard from them; I also had a leaf spring recall done, I live an hour away from the dealership, 2 months after the recall was done, I noticed the truck was leaning in the rear end on the drivers side, I called the dealership and told them I was concerned that maybe one of the Leaf springs was defective because it was leaning,they said bring it on in and we will find the problem and See what it is, if its not the leaf spring then well let you know what it is as well, I drove an hour there and they told me they would check the leaf spring only not see what else could be making it lean if it wasnt the leaf spring unless I paid a $99 diagnostic fee, and I said that I was never told that on the phone and I just drove an hour here, they guy on the phone told me they would check it out for me since they did the recall and I never had any issues with it before the recall to see if it was something they did,and they still wanted me to pay $99 for the diagnostic fee, I honestly dont see myself doing business at this dealership ever again and me and my family own 3 Toyota, and this dealership has made me not want to ever own another Toyota again just dealing with the service dept.

Walker Toyota sold my daughter a car with an oil leak. They are currently giving her the run around and saying they cant find the leak but there is evidence of oil running down the side of the motor and onto the undercarriage.

Called for an appointment on 08/08/18 for 08/11/18 which I made on time, waited for over 45 minutes before they took the car, prioritizing other customers without appointment ahead of me. Went to the car 40 minutes after getting here to grab something and on my way back in the clerk just addressed me as a new customer instead of noticing I have been waiting for over 40 minutes. This had never happen in my previo experiences Im assuming there was a change of employees notices a few new faces doubt Ill ever maintenance my car here again or do any type of business it does not even deserve one star dont bother calling for an appointment you are better of showing up they might treat you like a customer that way
Got my used car at a great price! Took them three hours to detail it. They never actually finished. It was just closing time so they gave me my car. They forgot to put my mat back in the trunk so that was a problem. They also sold me a $250 VIN etching warranty. The finance guy acted like they put the etchy on there and thats what I was paying for. Found out it comes from the factory like that and they were selling me a warranty. At least the terms allowed me to get my money back. Just watch out for that.

Terrible place wont ever buy from here or get any work done. Told me because my truck was dirty it voids my warranty. But I work in forestry so I am in dirty everyday. I brought a TRD offroad for offroad purpose.
After them selling the vehicle I put in a credit app for and was scheduling to come drive/pick up, I decided to try again. Salesperson was not prepared even though my appointment was scheduled in advance and I made a two hour drive for them to dig around in inventory for another hour. Finally turned up a vehicle to meet my needs. Safety issue was brought up during sale. Salesperson got aggravated with my concern and said It is just a piece of plastic. I will put it on my debit card. I held her to that and demanded a We Owe for them to fix the part. We Owe has YET to be honored and they have no interest in honoring it. I am still dealing with said safety issue. Followed all the dealers instructions on getting the We Owe settled and still nothing. Sales manager was finally reached after weeks and was of no help.

The staff is friendly. I have only been to the service center. I once had to wait 2 hours to get into have an oil change that I had scheduled in advance. They did not ever come out and let me know what was taking so long. To their credit they did take 20% off my next oil change. I only go there because I want toyota parts, for instance oil filters, on my car.
I gave Walker Toyota five stars a month ago after I first purchased my certified used vehicle, with a warranty. I got great service at the time of purchase, but here I am 2 months later with some kind of electrical malfunction thats causing such extreme heat that its literally melting my headlight housing & the bulb sockets are burned black and breaking apart. Worried that it may start an electrical fire while Im picking my 2 children up from school, I went straight to the manager at Walker Toyota on August 22, 2018. The manager wouldnt even look at my truck, he just said I should put some bulb grease on it and keep an eye on it. I asked to set up a service time for repairs, but hed obviously made up his mind, so left. This is my reasonable attempt to be taken seriously by the owner or dealership and have this issue resolved immediately.

My husband and I purchased a truck from Walker Toyota about 3 weeks ago. While test driving it we noticed the check engine light was on, the salesman assured us that it was just a fuse. However after picking it back up after being serviced we noticed that the light had come back on and the cruise control was not working. I immediately called the sales manager and left several messages however he never called me back. So I went up there only to find out that my salesman had been terminated and the sales manager doesn’t check his voicemail. The sales manger told us to just file a claim with our warranty company (unethical) and he would pay the deductible. In addition to being very sarcastic and RUDE! Why don’t they pay for what they said they would fix from the start! So if it’s not covered under warranty it’s basically on us! DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM HERE!!!!

I would not recommend buying a used car from this dealership. I bought a 2010 camaro and it has been nothing but a problem and of course; they won’t return my calls or texts at the dealership. The day I got it home, the oil needed to be changed, no coolant in the radiator, the gauges by the shifter didn’t work, Ac completely stopped working day after I got it. Wouldn’t start because the purge canister had to be replaced. The low tire alarm hasn’t went off since I got it home. Didn’t receive all the paperwork from the sales manager. Poor customer service all together. Also on top of that, it has a misfire! Terrible service and I wouldn’t recommend anyone to the dealership personally.
Matthew was super and very helpful. However after I left my car they texted me and said I needed transmission and spark plug services that I had just had done with my trusted mechanic of 13 years. This is dishonest.
I went in there with the intention of looking at new vehicles. I also saw in the paper that they were holding a raffle of some sort. Immediately I was approached by a young man who seemed friendly at first. I td him that I wanted to enter the raffle and then Id like to look at cars around the 25k range and under. You would have thought I shot his mother in front of him. Note at this point i had not stated whether I wanted new or used yet. He immediately tried to tell me that cars just werent that price anymore and that he could show me 45k car. When I showed disinterest he immediately started trying to find ways to get away from us. I think I walked around the lot for ten minutes or so by myself before noticing that he was already with another client. Guess Ill be shopping somewhere else for a vehicle.

I recently purchased a new 2019 Toyota RAV4, XLE Premium, from Walker Toyota in Alexandria, Louisiana. Let me first start off by saying I only do reviews for exceptionally good service or remarkably poor service. In this case, it was amazingly good service.My quest for a new car began with me researching what type of vehicle would be best for me and my family. I went back and forth between the Honda CRV and the Toyota RAV4 and the deal was sealed when I came to the Toyota dealership to get a firsthand look at the various options. The staff at Walker Toyota was extremely kind and did not make me feel like I had entered a pool of piranhas. A friend of mine from another Walker dealership asked that I reach out to Mr. Gage Nugent, Walker Toyota Salesperson, regarding a test drive. I came to the dealership with my “weekend yard work” clothes but you would have never guessed it by the way Gage treated me and my family. Gage gave me a very honest assessment of the vehicles I looked at while taking into consideration my need for space, fuel efficiency, and reliability.After the test drive, I went home and began researching everything about the RAV4 online pertaining to reliability and prices and was astonished to see everything Gage told me was spot on—everything. I spent the next week price checking. I used my USAA car finder benefit that provides a reasonable discount and promises the best price. Additionally, I used automotive applications like Car Trader to see what the lowest price looked like around the country (Note: I have flown as far as Wisconsin to purchase a car and drive it back home to get the best deal; my last car I purchased in Nashville, Tennessee). Once I knew the price range and determined what I wanted to pay I made my call to Gage (…let the games begin, right?).I was confident Gage would not be on the dollar amount I needed him to be on the price of the Toyota RAV4 I wanted and test drove in Walker lot. I told Gage, “I know what I want and I know what I want to spend. Now tell me what the price of this vehicle.” To my utter amazement, Gage, without any hesitation, gave me a breakdown of how much he could sell the vehicle to me for, which was below my planned counter! I was totally taken aback but I told him that’s the number I wanted to be at with purchasing and asked if we could discuss financing. Unfortunately, with the economy doing so good, interest rates have begun to rise and my monthly note was a bit higher than I was comfortable with paying. Gage instantly remarked that he could lower this by adding a Toyota incentive for recent college graduates (within 2 years of graduating, in case you’re interested). He also added a rebate and offered to take additional money off the already low price of the vehicle. It was the first time I didn’t need to haggle and everyone walked away with a smile on their face. Gage even helped purchase weather proof floor-mats for my new car out of his own commission.Gage made this one of the easiest, most painless, and enjoyable experiences for purchasing a new vehicle. There were no last-minute surprises, and he went above and beyond to ensure the vehicle was detailed and ready to go before I left the dealership. I am grateful to Gage and the Walker Toyota staff for the “no-pressure” approach.
I bought a new SUV last night from here. Dylan Brewer helped me every step of the way. He answered every little question and big question, I drove it until I was ready to get out confident in wanting this particular SUV, and even brought my husband home the next day when we dropped my old one off for trade since I had to go to school. He was super friendly, didnt push me just to make a sell, and even interacted with my little boy as we waited on the approval process. Hands down the best. I have a 2015 Toyota Camry SE. I had the worst experience with Walker Toyota on today. I took it there to get maintenance last Monday. It was due for an oil change, along with the oil change they also rotated my tires, changed the air filter & I had a nail in the left rear tire so they patched it. Well, 2 days later my battery died on me & I got stranded 3 times away from home & had to call someone to come give me a boost to start. I then went to Auto Zone & had my battery tested & was told that it was bad & it should’ve been detected if I just had it maintenced, but mind you on my multi-point inspection form it says that they tested my battery & everything was good, but obviously it was pencil whipped instead because if it was tested, I’m pretty sure that it would have detected the battery going bad. Second issue, every since I left Walker my car all of a sudden started pulling straight to the right & the day after that it was pulling straight to the left. It was pulling so hard, that if I took my hands off of the steering wheel my car would run off to the side of the road. I was so shocked of what was happening I came to a complete stop. I had no prior problems with my car pulling before I brought it there to be serviced on last Monday. I called Walker & they told me to bring it back in, brought it in on today & received the worst customer service in the service department. I spoke with Matthew & Kayla. I explained everything from the beginning so they would understand what was going on & yet they showed no concern at ALL, only to tell me “oh if your battery is bad we can replace it, so do you want us to replace it” the battery being replaced was not the issue, the REAL issue was, it was supposed to be tested & it could’ve been replaced that day I had it maintenance while I had the funds, but they fail to test it, which I received a false good battery test. They told me the only thing they can do about my car pulling is rotate my tires back like I had them because they don’t do anything other than switch the tires when rotating them. As a loyal customer to Toyota, never, not once did I feel like I was going to be taken care of. They never even said we will have it looked at or test drove to see what’s going on with it. After explaining how I could’ve wrecked my car from my steering wheel pulling so hard & how I could’ve been in the middle of nowhere at nighttime when my battery died on me, I still received NO apology or even felt like they were concerned. After they stated they could only rotate my tires back like they were, I asked TWICE who was the manager & where was he & no one bothered to go & get he/she for me to speak with them. After about a third time of them saying all they did was switch the tires they don’t do anything else to rotate tires but switch them & I told them you don’t know what they did while servicing my car because u wasn’t back there, you only know what they are supposed to do, just like they said they tested the battery & they didn’t so what makes u think they didn’t do something when they rotated my tires and now whatever happened is causing my car to pull. So rotating my tires back was all that was done. I told them if my car was pulling before, I would have let them know to test it out to see what was going on with it, but that wasn’t the case. I was so upset after that I stormed out. I was basically told it’s nothing that they caused & it’s my responsibility to get a diagnostic testing & get an alignment. Just made me sick to the stomach. At the end of the day, I spend too much money with Toyota as far as a car note & getting it maintenance to get the unprofessional, most horrible customer service that I got today. Once I left the parking lot & turned onto the highway my car still pulled all the way to left & did so the entire drive home back to Oakdale, La. I called Matthew back to let him know & I received the same response. Rotating them back didn’t change a thing, so now my tires will just get worn out because obviously something is going on.

We live in South Louisiana, so I started the process over emails and phone calls because they had the exact vehicle I wanted. I got the run around for 2 days before even coming in. Finally once I called them out on it, I started getting return phone calls and made an appointment to come in. Only to make a 3 hour round trip drive for nothing. They only gave me half of the information over the phone, even though I asked numerous questions about the process of buying used vrs new. I ended up being able to buy a brand new vehicle with more features for less at Hampton Toyota in Lafayette, then I could buy a 2017 “Certified pre-owned” for over there. My salesman was a very nice guy and I think he was trying… but not enough to make the sale, he is the only reason I gave them two stars instead of one. The entire process of dealing with this dealership was exhausting, stressful and huge waste of time, gas and energy!
Service is horrible! Spoke with someone in parts and he told me to bring my 84 month warranted battery in [bought 02/2014) and they would replace it because my car wouldnt start. When I got there they told me I had to bring the car too. They give you false information over the phone and just turn you away when you get there. The manager couldnt even get up from her desk to speak with me herself. I will not be buying a thing from them.

Asm was very helpful. She ran vin numbers on both my toyota vehicles to check for recalls and was only there to order parts. All staff members were kind and professional.

When it comes to repairs, they never have parts in stock. Overpriced. Vehicle usually ends up in worse shape in some way after repairs are done. Hate this place.

Not only did the car they tried to sell us cost way more than blue book but they sneak credit application after credit application trying to force us into the over priced car. I had 3 hard inquiries on my credit report after I left there only being told about 1. They didnt want to negotiate the price, the credit inquiries were out of control and the manager was a jerk that refused to work with you on anything. Never going back to a walker anything as long as I live...
What a joke! Shop with Chai at Hampton Toyota in Lafayette. I tried to deal with Virgil Adams and he was absolutely rude. After telling him the fair price for the vehicle I was looking for according to TrueCar and Kelly Blue Book... He told me to go buy from TrueCar. Either he is ignorant of these sites or is just a plain smart a@@! Just to let folks out there know... He offered a price for a car 3000 dollars more than the same exact one I PURCHASED from Hampton. Plus Hampton brought the car to me! I bought my last two cars from Walker... So you would think they would appreciate a loyal customer! Well... Instead they lost a customer and I will deal with anyone else BUT Walker And especially Virgil in the future.
