Very rude, slow amd grumpy inspector.Failed inspection for exhaust leak, no back pressure. Told inspector that leak is a hole right before end of the tail pipe. This is well past the muffler and shouldnt be a big deal. The inspector wasnt hearing any of it and says he cannot sea because he cannot put my truck on the lift. You dont need to put it on the lift see tail pipe of F350.

Good experience with completing state inspections. Service was quick and the station offered a coupon for the inspections.

This used to be my go to auto repair shop for years, but now it seems to be run by a bunch of mechanics set out to rob you blind. I had them tell me parts were installed backwards when the parts can only possibly be installed one way, I have had them tell me perfectly good parts were worn out, I dont trust this shop anymore. The gas is cheap though.

No problem with them running a for-profit establishment; however, their drive to enhance profits seems to have replaced a solid emphasis on the customer. In my case, a quick explanation of what they discovered wrong with my car wouldve been appreciated, as it rendered additional service unnecessary and unwanted. That explanation along with a yes/no question of whether I still desired the requested additional service never happened, which of course allowed them to legitimately maximize the bill. There was a time when service stations treated customers as more than a meal ticket to be casually exploited at any and every opportunity. Unless my recent experience occured during one of their off days, Franconia Gulf has likely decided this era no longer fits with their business model.

I was told that my car was going to be done within 45 minutes. Almost 2 hours pass by and no call back. I had to get a ride to check if my car was ready because this place doesn’t answer their phone calls. I call their phone number from google.Once I got my car back, the front desk person was very rude. He told me to take my signed receipt and then told me, “wait what are you doing? I been doing this longer than you”. I was not going to review, but the last rude comment didn’t sit well with me

I went in to get two new tires before the bad weather came. I called in the morning to inform them about me coming in to get tires and they said they would order them and have them ready for me when i got off work i went straight to the shop . When i arrived I guess they forgot so they ordered the tires ran picked them up and they made sure I was getting it done today was only there an hour . The only reason I go there for my car to be serviced is because of WAYNE He is Amazing !!! :-)

$90 for a oil change at this establishment. I was quoted $44.00 over the phone, took it in and they said it needed synthetic so the total would be $70. When they finished the total came to $90.00, and the cashier was totally rude when I was surprised and asked to review the receipt. While I was in the parking lot putting in a address in my GPS, Wayne, the mechanic came to my car, opened the door with out a mask and without asking, and said oh sorry was just checking to see if someone was in here and spat on me as he said it. All in all it was a very unpleasant experience.

Always has the cheapest gas prices around, sometimes even getting lower than speedway, and in a convenient location pretty close to the beltway. Not too many pumps but it’s enough and they maximize the smaller floor space pretty good. The store on the inside is clean. Can’t speak about the service department but I wouldn’t see why I won’t go there in the future.

They have a high mark up on parts, but the mechanics do a decent job, the manager and the cashiers have no idea of the concept of customers service

This is my go to place for auto repairs and maintenance. Very good labor rates and the cost of parts is lower than other local repair shops.

The people at Franconia Gulf have provided amazingly good service to me and my wife for the past 5 years. Inspections, oil changes, brake service, bumper repaired, replaced oil pump, repaired power window, and replaced tires. They have done numerous other repairs that had to be done immediately. Without exception they have helped us on short notice and everything has always been done professionally and correctly. All of the personnel have been a joy to work with from the owners down to everyone in the shop. Their quick and dedicated service has saved me untold time and undoubtedly a significant amount of money. They have made many repairs that would have cost a lot more and taken a lot longer in other shops. Owners and staff are professional and personable. It is a pleasure to do business here. We recommend this business to people everyday. Everyone who has taken our advise and done business here have come back to thank us.

This place is awesome! The staff is super fast and very friendly. I got my safety inspections and emissions done here with no hassle. I also got my brake pads changed and the cost was very reasonable compared to other places. Very satisfied.

Terrible customer service. The Cashier forces me to move to another pump when I was about to pump gas near the store because the woman thats the same nationality as him wanted to use pump that I was going to use even though there was four other pump available. They could have have atleast told her to use the other pump instead of giving her demands.

I have been to all the mechanic shops up and down the Franconia area along with my honda dealership and jiffy lube. Ive always looked for a good mechanic in the area and I found it with Franconia Gulf. They are honest and great prices. The people that work there are very nice. I did a price check on what they fixed and it was an Excellent price. The mechanic knew what he was talking about. I got a ride back to my home so I didnt have to wait there. I will be bring back my car and my wifes there for sure. I will recommend to others who are looking for a car mechanic.

I went there for oil change, the member didn’t put the proper oil in my engine instead of 5W-20 he pure 5W-30 I asked them to replace it.I replaced two brand new tires here they said I have to rotate my tires now after 3000 miles my tires are gone they told me to replace my tires and brakes.Brakes are fine but, tires I told him, replaced it here when I said you guys rotated it so how it’s possible to become uneven wear and tear.

Always go here for gas! Cheapest in the area!Went in for yearly inspection and the staff was quick and helpful. They found a nail in my tire and patched it up for free, in addition to de-fogging my cloudy headlights. Great service and will be returning again!

Had my safety inspection and emissions test done here; very professional and no hassle. Quick and honest with great personality (top notch customer service). The Franconia Gulf service station is nothing short of awesome. Today was about the fifth time they saved me a lot of money by fixing the right problem, drawing on a wealth of experience to avoid fixing things that may not really need to be fixed (check engine coded to cam advance system - they say often goes away with synthetic oil and worst case the fault triggers again). Unfortunately I get a frequent customer discount, but with other places I would have bought a couple of new cars by now!

This is my favorite station. Prices are low, people are nice enough that work there...food and snacks are a bit pricey, but overall the store is legit. The emissions and inspections are fast as well.

Great neighborhood place for 22310 and nearby for good auto service and maintenance . They are convenient, reasonable, honest. As a female, never felt like I am taken advantage of as Ive felt in some places. I appeciate the staff is always polite and respectful.

Went there to get the safety inspection. Had a nail in the tire. They told me they could replace it. The inspection was fine, they were friendly. I took the truck to costco for new tires, came back and got the $1 reinspect. Nice fellows. One thing though, my car did smell like smoke, they smoke a lot there and it gets into the vehicle.

I used to come to their service shop all the time when Gerson and another mechanic worked there. They were very helpful, always honest and prompt. Recently I went there and all brand new staff. They were nice but I dont think I will come back to them ever again. I felt like they took advantage of the fact that I was a woman, by myself. Their labor and parts prices are crazy expensive. Told me I needed repairs that I didnt. Theyve done my oil changes for years but never again. So disappointed.

Very rude mechanics. They made my car worse and then when i asked them about it he became angry and threatened me. Unbelieveable. Stay away, there are much better options within a few feet. Go to Liberty next door. They will take care of you.

Went in for the Inspection and emissions tests and the Inspection failed with a worn brake pad. I was on a really tight schedule and it was fixed within the hour and passed the inspection. Great service!

I had problems turning corners and it made loud noises in the front-end of my 2000 C70 Volvo, so I had them look at it. They diagnosed the problem as bad bushings on the lower control arms. They replaced the lower control arms, and charged less than I expected, and much less than a Volvo dealer would have. The range for this repair is from $400-$1200, they were in the mid $400. It now drives like new!

Went to get an my annual motorcycle inspection, not a friendly atmosphere.

I had my front brake pads replaced and as soon as I left, the pads on the passenger side started squealing. They gave me generic excuse but it was a rushed and inadequate job. They offered me to look into it but would have to charge all over again. Thanks, but no thanks.

Finally found a place I can trust. Personable, fair prices, Im only going to them as long as Im in the area.

Be aware!!! Ripped off!!! Uncultured and Rude people!!! I went there with possible battery issue of my Prius 2008. I was told over the phone that the battery diagnose charge is $35. I left my car Saturday around 2pm. I was told that the Hybrid machanic was unavailable so only Monday they will be able to follow up. But no one called me so far.Anyway I called them back on Tuesday and found out that they ran a thorough diagnostic and the cost is now 99 dollar???. I went to that place to get my car and saw the diag report. It says that the transmission, electeic system, battery, etc are bad. It says all my dashboard lights are on and the repair price will be around 12,000 dollar!!!From my experience I immediately knew that the battery is down and thats why all dashboard lights were on. Wasnt it the battery I went there for at the first place?I had a reason to beleive that no diagnosed was done. Because at first they said thier hybrid tech was not there but they claimed that they called me on same day to tell me about my car problem. I think they tried to start the car and saw all the lights on and came up to conclusion that everything was wrong with my car. Funny thing was, as soon as I jump started my car with my portable power, the Car was on and all error lights were gone.So I asked the guy inside about my concern. I also mentioned about the pirce hike. He did not like it and started arguing with me. There was another lady employee started calling me Mean. At one point the guy used F word fornt of my child.I have no complain on RAY, who was not there. He seems to be very gentleman. Its the employees who were the culprit.Questin to Mr. Ray, no matter what, can your employee say F word? Dont Caustomers have any rights to express their concer?I will post this on facebook and discourage all my friends and family to avoid this place.Response to Owner: You guys are the one told me $35 dollar to check the 12 v battery only. Not me! You should have told me before you do the full diagnose for extra money. Besides, I am positive that no diagnose was done! As a custmer when I confronted you, out of nowhere that lady started calling me MEAN. Who started it? I was leaving... you came out of the store and said F word in front of my 9 years old child. I will NEVER forgive you.
