The staff at the store are very helpful. My alternator and battery went bad in my car which worried me a bunch. But the staff helped me through the whole process of testing it, providing tools for me to replace, and I was able to buy the new alternator there too. Even though it took a few hours they were cool with me doing the work in the parking lot. With both replaced now everything is working great. Thanks again!

I came in yesterday to get my battery replaced. Immediately I was helped when I came in. I was expecting to be hassled about all other things needed for my car but the employee understood that the battery was all I needed and was extremely helpful with letting me know the different options.When it came to installing it was super quick and easy. The young gentleman who installed it was so sweet and made great conversation when installing.If you need anything car related this autozone is the way to go.They now have a customer for life with me.

Ive been going here from time to time over the years to buy cleaning products for my car. Its right down the street from the car wash near there. No matter what time of day, the team there is always incredibly helpful and super friendly.

Worst retail experience I had in a long time. I went to return an online item and the first 2 guys were like we don’t carry it can’t return it which was BS because I was told to return it in-store by the on-line staff. I had to call the online people myself while at the register. When I worked retail for 10 years I would have been the one calling the online department for information. Finally I was able to get a store number from the online people and a manager returned it. The first 2 sales people should be fired for being useless. I shouldn’t need a manager for a simple return from online. The part didn’t fit even though I used their online search tool for my car.Go to advance auto instead.

I asked a few times before buying a windshield wiper. They still sold me the wrong one. My was beam style wiper and they sold me conventional, which was completely unusable. They also charge me windshield cleaner which they told me was free.

The representatives at thsi autozone were extremely helpful and gave me tips as well. They even gave me alternatives so that I dont end up paying more (with what I had researched)

I was stuck at the airport with a dead key battery. Darwin, at this autozone saved the day! Omg he and his co-worker (can’t remember his name) were so kind and helpful. I couldn’t figure out what was wrong with the car. I called geico, The auto dealership, roadside resistance. Finally just called Autozone and Darwin patiently explained it was the key battery. I got a Lyft to autozone and he hooked it up! Thank you guys so very much!!! I wish I had a “Darwin” at the autozone in near me! He knows his stuff!

I needed a new car mirror for my passenger side, they were very helpful and nice. I like going to this auto zone.

Two of my children have recently purchased batteries at this location and they were improperly installed. Both had loose terminals which drained and/or stranded their vehicle and required a jump start, tightening of the terminals (one positive and one negative), and recharging brand new batteries.I would appreciate if the store management would do a review of the correct procedure to help their customers get the best service possible, as I know they are capable of doing better than Ive experienced in the recent past. In any case, always monitor the service being performed and ask questions if you dont think its going as planned/expected.

What you expect from autozone nothing special but nothing bad.

Any time I need help, theyre always willing and able to help. I bought a battery from then in April 2019 and installed it myself. Fast forward to February 2020. Battery is not holding a charge. Brought vehicle back today and one of the customer service guys swapped it out with a new one as it was still under warranty. He installed it for me! AND he didnt make feel like he was doing me a favor. Great job!

I bought a battery and it was improperly installed by a Hispanic guy. He asked me to return later. I did return, but the same guy was NOT there. Then, two other two Hispanic guys (one of them: son of the sun, and another one, the manager in that shift) were very rude and instead of helping me, they got into a fight with me. I just requested them help to remove a drive, or at least lend me the tool to do it on my own. They denied me any help. Conversely, However, they were nice with other white folks requesting help. It seems those are a kind of Hispanics who discriminate other Hispanics (maybe they assumed one is undocumented).

Please do not patron this store. I was in there 3 mintues ago. The time is now 7:47 pm. I was trying to locate an item for my vehicle because it rung up with an incorrectly listed price. I asked for help which items were actually the price posted. Employee Guzman stated that things were mixed around by customer and no one had put them back correctly. I asked could he help me find the correct item. He said he couldnt help me as they were about to close. The closing time is listed as 10pm? Which is over 2 hours later. I just left and told him to have a good day. I will no longer spend my money a this location or any other for that matter. Ill just order off Amazon. I will get way better customer service.

Systems don’t work, can’t find parts or check anyone out.

This AutoZone has a good selection of products, and great customer service. The staff is knowledgeable about car parts and tools (which cannot be said about some other locations), and provide fast service. The website allows for you to check which items are in stock before you visit which will save time as well. All in all this place is great for any diy car guy/gal who needs more than a small tool kit to get the job done.

Buyer beware of their return policy. Bought three items, paid in part with a gift card and the rest in cash. Returned one item (for less than what I paid in cash) and they refused to issue a cash refund but instead handed me a gift card so I have to come back again. To top it off, the cashier was less than professional and not helpful/willing to explain their policy (not even sure this is a policy). Simply told me, you paid in part with a gift card, so youre getting a gift card. Here.Hopefully that $5.29 was worth it because Ill be taking my business online or to another store.

The staff here is exceptionally friendly from my observations after 3 visits. Ive been on weekends and a couple of hours before close for a battery change, a rear light change, and for minor service. They genuinely seem to enjoy their work and are knowledgeable.

After receiving an very expensive price for replacing front & rear bulbs, I knew I could purchase the bulbs & have them installed for way cheaper than $100. And what do you know.. went to Auto Zone & got both bulbs for almost less than $20. & he replaced them for FREE... only a complementary tip for helpful service😉 Plus, I picked up a cute furry steering wheel cover for 12 bucks. Well stocked store, all the guys was very helpful!

Went in for an oil filter. The clerk was super friendly and helpful and he had just what I needed for my make and model in seconds. We were in and out of there in five minutes!! Great service!

I came in today to get some replacement blades and a new light for my turn signal. I was helped by Fernando and was overwhelmed by his positive energy and helpfulness. He even noticed the fluid in my radiator reserve was low and notified me. He truly went above and beyond. Thanks again!

Auto zone. This place had good insight if you asked for it. Otherwise I felt sort of like and outsider because I am not an auto professional. To boil it down, the place was disorganized, but they had a great selection of air fresheners. Which was nice.

I wait in line for information for my wipers and the just told me to get in the isles. I went and grab it and went to check out and was told to wait in line again. The purpose of waiting in line so you can get the wipers and check out so you will be all done. This is such a terrible customer service and waist of time. If I have a choice, this is definitely not a place I want to come back.

Needed to change my car battery. Went to this place and immediately was helped by Valerie. She cleaned and checked the old battery and then helped me select a new battery. Removing the old one was a pain due to rust and corrosion of the terminals. She however patiently worked on it and eventually installed the new battery. Great customer service and fantastic attitude! I am pleasantly surprised.

Its a good store, but they didnt have a simple common car wash item (bucket screen) I was looking for. They told me the other AutoZone has them. Really dont want to drive out of my way for that. Another purchase I will likely get from Amazon instead of locally.

Outrageously poor customer service and poor staff performance. Go here if you enjoy a store with only two associates working during peak business hours; waiting in line for 25 minutes and then having the associate switch registers and tell you that you are no longer in line because he moved.

Normally would drive from DC this was my 3rd visit at this location and sales agent Fernando was exceptionally rude for no reason I requested service to help with wiper blade and he refused for no apparent reason.This guy missed the customer service class. Horrible worker for AutoZone.

I like Auto Zone, and I especially like this store. The staff is very helpful, and goes out of their way to get to what you need. Apparently theyll even put your new battery in for you according to a neighbor. Free tool rentals for things like brake caliper compressors, and a nice web site to find parts before you go to the store.

Fairly small location, but they have always had what I needed in stock. Pretty almost always a wait to check out. Could use additional staff.

I came by to pick up a headlight bulbs for my car. They were very quickly about getting your items and check me out. I pop the hood and replace the lightbulb. They free parking on the side of the building. There are plenty of space.

This was my 1st time here, and I had the pleasure of being helped by a very nice man named Tony. I came in with a question about my battery. Tony checked it (I initially came because their website says they do free battery charges- and they do!), asked me a few questions, then took the time to check my alternator as well (not sure why he did, but Ive learned to listen to the experts in situations like these). He gave the everything looks good, and offered some advice; so I came in and asked him to show me the products he suggested and why the ones he showed me were (in his opinion) the best. I left with a smile on my face, with an Ill be back when its time to buy said products, and with the phone to my ear- before I left the parking lot to call the store manager to praise Tony. Thank you Auto Zone for an extremely pleasant, no pressure, informative initial visit. You cant beat the location (off of Mt. Vernon Ave) or the Customer Service! Ill be back!! I Highly reccomend this store and location!

Only place around. Helpful staff. Normally there are a few guys that hang around the parking lot during the weekends and will install parts for a few bucks (buyer be ware). Supports the local hot rodding community.

Only was there to purchase a rear wiper blade, but checkout lady was very helpful, making sure I left with the correct part.

I needed motor oil for my car. I went to the front desk for help and the sales associate suggested I look for 5w-20 motor oil. I knew I needed full synthetic and high mileage oil (my odometer was at 93k). When I looked, there were several different brands/types that were all relatively the same price. I asked her which one was better (if any) and for a suggestion. She replied Oh I dont know, youll just have to try each one. I laughed at myself because I didnt think she was serious. She continued Youll have to check online for reviews. Honestly, since she works there, I assumed she would have better insight on the oils than I do. I looked up reviews online and decided what I wanted and also noticed that it would be cheaper to get the oil at Walmart. I asked the same sales associate if they did price match for Walmart and she told me yes. Another sales associate that was going to check out my items said that they didnt do price match with Walmart but he did show me the sale they had for the oil I was getting that ended up being a similar deal, so he helped me with that. After that I thought to myself She couldve told me that deal from the start and I could have spent 5 minutes instead of 20 minutes there. Not saying I wouldnt go back, but some of the sales associates need better training.

Feeling scammed. Waiting 16 hours and counting for $133 part to be driven from Landover, MD to Alexandria, VA. Told the part would arrive in two hours (by 4:00 pm yesterday) after being told that I could not drive to Landover or Manassas to pick-up the part to get the part installed yesterday. No calls from AutoZone before they closed at 10 last night. Called twice to be told the part was on its way, 7:30 pm and 9:00 pm - 3 1/2 hours late and then 5 hours late. Called at 9:50 pm but no one picked up the phone. Tired of these places feeling its ok to lie and play games with women. Found two places that can install the part today IF I can get the car in by 8:00 am, 30 minutes to go and co calls from AutoZone about the location of the part to avoid losing time from work next week. Pathetic customer service and horrific mistake trusting this place. Never again.

A good shop for your car needs

Employees seem lost. Three just talk with other. Other is stuck with customer. No one cared less. After ordering part that wasnt there was to come back 2 hrs. 4 hrs later I came back. Again no one helping with line. Then cant find my part or can tell if there. Left no part. Try again tomorrow.

Poor costumer service i wait 50 minutes for someone just to check my car battery and the black guy his name is samson is so rude and racist he is the only one who have to leave forever from AutoZone! Employees tend to treat customers poorly and have little organizational skill. There have been issues with employees not understanding how to use the store inventory system and during my last visit I had to explain to an employee what a car battery was.

Never gonna go back to that place again. Very slow stuff. They dont even try help you
