I was a former employee, recently quit to be precise. My former manager followed my friend and I around for 30+ minutes while we were in there for the fact of apparently I’m not wanted in there anymore. Reason being I “talk to the employees to much”.

My mom placed an order online for Food Lion Catering on behalf of my church as we were feeding a family for a funeral. Not sure exactly what happened but the deli department did not receive the order. When she arrived to pick up the order, one hour before we were serving the meal, she was told that nothing had been prepared because they had not been informed. Krista immediately went into action, letting Chad, the store manager, know about the situation. Then, she came up with a solution. Krista and Jamie worked diligently and had a feast prepared in less than 30 minutes. These ladies are awesome!! Food Lion is very fortunate to have them on their staff.

Was only in for like 5 mins. Had exactly what I needed. The aisles were organized and the store was clean.

Always pleasant atmosphere. I always find what Im looking, stocking is great. Produce and meat departments always have quality products. Staff is very friendly. My go to store!

Store was super clean and well stocked. Employees very nice. When I reached the register, my groceries were put on the belt for my and then back in my cart after ringing up and bagging!! This is my new grocery store!!❤️❤️❤️

What can you say about foodlion.? Foodlion is great no matter what town your in.

I had a WONDER experience....the woman in the deli(young with dark hair) was VERY POLITE AND HELPFUL even though I ordered 6 different products.....the young lady at the express lane that was full service was VERY helpfull and polite as well...we usually go to a different Food Lion but the people in the deli area are very rude as well as making customers wait.....We were very impressed with the quality of service...keep up the great work!!!

Got 1lb of pastrami for $15 and it was all fat and dendon. I got 1/2 of 1 sandwich. The rest went in trash. Will never ever go to deli again. I am so mad.

It would be much better if they would stop moving everything around so much. Takes patrons longer to get in and out when they have to keep looking for the things they are hunting for

I work for Food Lion. I was a customer for years before I became an employee. My location is not this location. This store is backwards to me. Not as friendly and tighter aisles. But still, good service and decent prices. I still had a time finding what I was looking for. Ill stick to my favorite location in Richfield!

A lot of people are not following precautions but the store looks clean and orderly and very well stocked.

Theyre always restocking the shelves. Clean store and there are enough registers opens to take care of the customers.

I just left here, and my card wasnt working and I was holding everyone up, and that is so embarrassing when that happens but my cashier was Pamela, and she was so patient and helpful. Thanks Pamela being so great!

Store was ok. Only thing wrong was cashier Amanda acting like the price of bags come out of her check and trying to put everything into as few bags as humanly possible, causing bags to rip while unloading at home resulting in food spillage. But atlease they had toilet paper.

This is the best Food Lion in the county the only one I will use even though there is one closer to me in Mt. Pleasent five minutes away but I drive twenty minutes to This Food Lion on HWY 52 and the employees are always so nice and professional

We had all but stopped shopping at Food Lion due to history of buying not to fresh produce. We stopped there this evening due to convenience to where we ate supper. There was this very loud floor cleaning machine that came down our aisle and aisles around us very fast. It would have been better to do this when there are no customers. We had trouble finding items. Finally we found a very nice young man to help us.

Great customer service and great place to get everything you need from food and pet food and beer and cigarettes and paper products.

Always a pleasure shopping at Food Lion on Hwy 52 in Albemarle! Edited 03/28/2021 Until today, when the man stocking in the dairy dept was extremely rude...Yelling EXCUSE ME at me twice & then brushing up against me to get to what he was trying to do. Very upsetting:(

Staff and management is extremely friendly and helpful. Shelves are always well stocked and constantly straightened up.Produce used to be sub par in my opinion a couple years back but has come a long way. My family gets groceries here weekly.

Other than it is the closest grocery store to my house, the store is clean inside and the prices are reasonable. Staff is friendly and willing to help find a product in the store. I like the fact the store is not continuestly business all the time and you can make your way down the isle with out bumping into other customers.

Great local grocery store, the staff here was very friendly to me and assisted me in finding everything i needed. There fresh produce section is great!No complaints from me about this one, thats for sure.

Been there three times since we’ve been in NC and two out of three times we had poor results. No one cared to help us when asked, the prices were outrageous for the area they’re in. If you have ever been to Publix you know you pay top dollar for the best selections but here you simply pay top dollar. Prime example, as much as I despise shopping at Walmart, food lion had rotisserie chicken for $7.56 and we decided to go to Walmart and got two for $8.50. After today’s episode I have decided to not return to food lion altogether. We were put off by two workers not willing to go a few steps out of their way when the service desk wasn’t open n when it did we stood in line for almost 10 minutes because the cashier walked off with my change in her hand. I declined the transaction because my popsicles were getting soft n I got my money back n left.

Good, better get there early for that rotisserie chicken, it will be gone before you know it.

Great deals and promotions all the time with mvp cards, if dont have mvp cashiers are willing to use there own so u still save. Really friendly staff and they keep good eye on lines and will open another register if line gets to long.
