I have been to Hilltop Seafood co a few times.Their seafood is always very fresh, and the selection gets larger every time I visit.I met the owners this visit, and nicer people you will not find.I didnt know until yesterday, they are not affiliated with Hilltop in Monroe. This is a local Albemarle company who are committed to the downtown Albemarle revitalization.I will absolutely be back!

It was the very first time I had been there. The lady working seemed like she might have been the owner. She was very nice and helpful! I will be back.

Got 1/2 bushel oysters from James River VA; large, juicy, lots of tender mild meat, and super fresh, like only hours old. Made Oysters Florentine for NYE with French Champagne, and...Tres bien!

The best variety of fresh seafood for many miles. I count on this friendly fish market to provide me with my fish weekly. Lots of choices.

Friendly helpful folks, fresh reputable fish monger!

The people were very friendly and helpful. The parking is on the street in parallel spaces. Noted that the flounder is $10.99 and the pint of oysters was $19 and change. Of course market prices for seafood can change. I would definitely give it another try when I get a chance.

Clean, clean, clean! One of the cleanest seafood 🐟 markets that I have been in. You see seafood when you enter you dont smell it!! Seafood is always fresh. Reasonable prices and staff is very nice.

Its nice to be able to go downtown and get fresh seafood so many small towns arent as lucky theyve always had the seafood I enjoy fixing very friendly staff too.

This will be an occasional stop in my grocery getting travels from here forward! Amazing selection, affordable, spotlessly clean and super folks generous with cooking tips and detailed information about their products! Highly recommend!! Go see.

Oh wow... Excellent, fresh sushi grade fish! The salmon melted in my mouth like butta and the Cobia was amazing, too. We literally just cut it and ate it. Really great prices, too. Cant wait to go back and get more.

They have a great selection of seafood and very reasonable prices. They are very courteous, friendly, and very fast.

The only place that I know of that has crab leggs and soft shell crabs.
