This is a horrible car dealership! We got our 2012 Hyundai Tuscon there. We ask for some parts to be installed about 6 months ago. It never happened despite multiple attempts to make arrangements. We finally did make a arrangements and nothing I asked for was done. The whole purpose of me going there was for two things that were covered under our warranty and I asked if they could do an oil change and just replace the back wiper blade, which I voluntarily paid for. They only did the oil change and the uper blade NOT ANYTHING ELSE! Plus they broke our radio nob!!! I am furious to say the least. DO NOT GO HERE.

I spoke with Fred on the phone multiple times throughout the day I was trying to look at a 2007 Nissan Sentra that they had listed for sale. When I called the first time the first person didn’t know what was going on with the car if they even had it available or anything. They had somebody call me back but then they told me that it’s in the shop until Monday it’s Friday. They said they were gonna see what they can do about getting me the car so that I can test drive it. I called back about two hours later they said they still hadn’t reached out to the garage. I have cash in hand they know that they know I’m desperate for a vehicle. And I’m willing to come down today because this is the day that I have a ride available. They are unable to get the car down because they haven’t had it inspected yet even though it’s been on the market for 27 days. When Fred called me back to tell me that the car will not be there until at least tomorrow. I asked why this hadn’t been taken care of before it had put on the lot he Continue to tell me that sometimes this happens and people will purchase the car without test driving it. He said that it was in for an inspection but then he told me when he called me that it had a head gasket replaced and that there was a short in a wire somewhere in the garage was trying to backtrack where the clamped wire was. Doesn’t sound like a car that’s a readily available for sale. And then he proceeded to hang up the phone on meAfter telling me don’t worry about it. I believe he meant the car that I’m not getting it at this point. But at this point I don’t wanna do business with somebody that hangs up the phone on a customer for asking valid questions and does not have a car that’s able to be test drove or anything or even looked at but having it listed for sale. And telling me that they have tons of interest in it when they didn’t even know that it was on their lot.Update.Usually auto dealers inspect the cars before they list them for sale. Not line up buyers for cars that they can’t legally sell. I guess this is the reason they don’t allow people to review them on Facebook or leave comments. Hearing the car was going for an inspection that’s typical, but then hearing that it had a blown head gasket that’s not an inspection. I definitely don’t expect an owner to hang up the phone on a customer or yell at them because I asked a legitimate question. If a car is listed for sale i would expect the dealership that has it to want to sell it. This place doesn’t really seem like they want to sell anything.

We were approved for a 2011 Hyundai Tuscon, but ran into some problems with it. After a few weeks of trying, Matt, was able to offer us a 2017 Ford Fusion instead. We LOVE it! Thank you Matt and Fred for working with us and getting into a great car!

Where to start...was very emotional experience. Overwhelmingly extraordinarily positive. Great car...Great price...friendly and personable salesperson (Eric) PS..bring Krispy Kreme. The only issue I have had was upon purchase, was told AC wasnt working. To give it some time as it was just recharged. Was assured that if it didnt start working, a part would be sent to me. 3 weeks later with multiple calls, texts and emails, I am still waiting for a response, I still gave 5 stars as I give leeway due to global pandemic, but a return call from someone to resolve the situation would have made this easier for me. I think the kids call it ghosting. I didnt like it. Overall, I WOULD do business with Fred and Eric again. And I WILL continue to recommend them to anyone looking for an affordable dependable auto.

My daughter purchased a 2008 pickup truck from this dealership her she wanted a Jeep he couldnt get the check engine light off of that. Then Fred offered her a pickup truck what she was going to settle for but when she went to go pick it up they had the white pickup truck there instead. Now shes a single mom that works two jobs and she is going back at least four times to get something else fixed on this truck they are refusing to give back from money. They just want to keep showing her other cars and she just feels like they are not an adequate car dealership. Not usually the type of person to leave a review but the events that transpired today i felt a lengthy review was definitely necessary. Let me start by saying i took my friend to this car dealership today who is a little tight on money and didn’t really have much to play around with when we got there Matt the sales Consultant was very accommodating for my friend and they agreed on a good price. While having problems with the loan on the bank side Matt spent about 4-5 hours with us making sure everything was correct. After we finally get the loan situated we run into a problem with insurance... at this point everything was frustrating but Matt and Fred were very helpful during this process (now mind you we weren’t buying the most expensive car on the lot but they treated us as if we were, it wasn’t like they were trying to rush anything or just make a sale) they just cared about the customer and made sure everything went smooth after a long day at their dealership they made sure the car was serviced fully and we drove off the lot today... now typically this isn’t the type of service you would expect from ANY used car dealer around this area but Broadway cars LLC definitely went above and beyond anything I’ve ever seen before to help someone in need and put a smile on someone’s face. Over all they are nice people and friendly. The stories they should double check cars is true dont remember 100% the car believe it was a Chevy impala or impala something either way heard it start and sounded like the belt was about to die on it. Had a cracked head light on it as well oil light on. Once I started to noticed little issues tones changed very quick. I do understand cars are used but theres times u should double check a car before showing it is all. This visit was last year not recent I did manage to go find a car some where else though lucky enough runs better then what I was shown.

Buyers Beware! Called ahead about a 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe. Was told just a few scratches on the back of the car and that it drives and runs great by Matt (a salesman). Upon my arrival and looking over said car there were scratches all over the car along with dents and a deep gouge in the metal on one side. So many other defects in car as well. Drive the car and immediately when I stepped on the accelerator it took off and the tires squealed a little. I thought, gee I guess this car has more power than I thought. I was wrong! It did that every time I stepped on the accelerator! Didnt make it more than a few hundred feet down Central Ave from the dealership when the car/engine bucked, the engine light came on and the car had absolutely no power at all. I pushed the accelerator all the way to the floor and nothing! No acceleration what so ever! This dealership is trying to rip people off! I have no respect for dishonest people and these people certainly are dishonest!! Go elsewhere to shop!

The manager Fred was very accommodating. I was very interested in a specific car but wanted my mechanic to look at it . He actually drove the vehicle(to East Greenbush) to my mechanic so that it could be inspected. Once I had a list of repairs he had the car repaired and then we purchased it from him.I had a lease vehicle not quite to term yet. He was able to make the deal work and take the lease cardie trade. The car I purchased from him was in great condition. I would definitely buy another car here again. Everyone there was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place to anyone interested in buying a used car he has a great selection and great service

Outstanding place to buy a car! This is my first review, though it is now the second time we purchased a car at Broadway cars. First experience was very good so we returned.We dropped in yesterday to look at a car we were interested in from their website. Fred and his team went way above and beyond any and every expectation, and they worked with us on short notice to do the purchase on the limited time we had on a Saturday afternoon. And, just like the previous experience a year-and-a-half ago, it was a very relaxed, professional, friendly buying experience without pressure.We cant say enough about these guys and this place. Would highly recommend.

This place is full of a bunch of liarsThey tell you everything you want to hear until you actually purchase the vehicle and then when something goes wrong they swear to call back and never do. When I went there in person they sweet talk and manipulate just to get me out the door...I would not recommend this place to anyone unless you want to throw away your money...

Dealt with Alex and Fred (the owner) both along the way, and both were very helpful with getting me into a my 2010 F150 at a great price. I had a lien on a car I needed to get rid of and Fred was able to give me a more than fair price on it (It literally left a puddle of oil in his lot!). Before picking up the truck, Fred personally drove it himself and noticed the steering was a bit stiff so they had it fixed and it now drives like new. They were the easiest to deal with out of several dealerships I stopped at in the area, and had the best prices for comparable vehicles.

I purchased a truck from them last year which got totalled last week. This was my first stop to look for a replacement as I was so happy with them from my experience last year. I dealt with Alex who is a very professional and personable person. I got a good deal on a good truck with excellent service. 10/10.

Guys were great, was able everything needed to get financed, by text and online, and my credit sucks. Never had to step foot in the business, until the day I test drove and bought the car. Got a good low milage car for a good price, complete with a 12 month or 12000 mile warrentee that covers everything.

I got a 2011 Ram the first week was rough but every time I call Fred the owner he was rite there to talk to me . My trade had a lot of money left on it Fred was the only person I could find to help me out . I dont have understand the person with the Jeep . So far they have took care of all my concerns with no problems no questions . I live. In Gloversville and I would send a friend there in a minute with no hesitation. So my final thought is talk with respect and you get respect back

BUYER BEWARE!!! I recently bought a 2005 Dodge Ram back in October of 2018. After driving home 45 minutes the check engine light was on and the headlight had fallen out. They fixed the truck but took over s week to fix. While fixing it I told them about a motor issue it was having where it was slipping out of gear and the motor would just cut out almost like it was stalling. I was told this was a factory issue. Well it continued to get WORSE. I contacted Fred the owner and he told me to file a warranty claim which I then did. I was told by the warranty company I’d have to pay $1,600+ out of pocket to diagnose what is exactly wrong before they decided to fix it. So I then AGAIN reached out to Fred. He told me not to worry he would take care it. He again took the truck and attempted to get it fixed. I was never given an update unless I had reached out first. After 8 weeks I had finally gotten my money back after being told it couldn’t be fixed without spending money (which I was fine with as I wanted the truck). Rewind back to 6 weeks of him having it HE POSTED THE TRUCK FOR SALE WITHOUT TELLING ME. That’s right! He had my truck which I still owned reposted for sale. When I got my money back he was very rude and disrespectful to me. He is not disclosing to people interested in the truck that there is any issue with it. BUYER BEWARE!!!

I would advise you inspect the car you intend to buy very closely. They try to hide problems with the cars they sell i.e broken lift gate, all speakers blown, extreme rust all over body covered up with quick touch up paint, broken emergency brakes...just to name a few. There is also a kid that works there who looks 15 years old and knows absolutely nothing about cars. He makes up most things about features of cars as he speaks. These people have no ethical standards. All about maximizing profits at all costs.UPDATE:About a year later, the driveshaft suddenly failed(literally disconnected from rear differential). This occurred traveling 79mph down an interstate, and the car ended up flipping and being totaled. I am very fortunate I was alone and that I did not get seriously injured or end up dead. The car was inspected by an adjuster and his report to me was that there was extreme rust damage and deterioration on the drive shaft, journals, differentials, exhaust system, and brakes. This car should have not passed inspection and should have not been sold in this condition. If you care for your safety and your loved ones, avoid this place and the auto shop they use!

All the staff were very helpful and friendly. The vehicle I purchased had 100,700 miles on it so it was no longer covered under the lemon law. They told me despite that to call if there are any issues with the vehicle and they would take care of me. There were a few minor things wrong with the vehicle such as a broken speaker cap and a pad that kept falling off the door frame. I attempted to contact the seller via email about these issues and got no response. Come to find out there were also issues with the vehicle totalling $440 in bills. I still enjoy the car but i would not buy from here again.

CJ had me set up and had everything ready to go for me so when I got there after an 8 hour drive, the truck was ready to go and everything was exactly as promised! A year ago we bought a Jeep Liberty from here. Thing has been a pain since. First off, my grandfather co-signed the auto loan so my Girlfriend and I could get the car since our credit wasn’t the best. My Grandfather must have asked the salesman 10 times if the loan would be in our name and not his. Alex the salesman said yes. Sure enough a week later when we got the paperwork in the mail, the loan was in my grandfathers name. He was livid! He went back and complained and they told him that the loan would only be okayed if it was in his name... first red flag. They lied about the loan. If they couldn’t put the loan out our name they shouldn’t have sold us the car and we would have went elsewhere. And of course they did nothing for my grandfather. Second, a week into the car the brakes started leaking. They did fix I will say that. But they also said they would fix a few other things which they did not. After that I refused to bring it back to them and only brought it to my Mechanic. Everything since that the car has needed done has been a total pain. The brakes were repaded instead of replaced like they are supposed to be, there are rust spots that have been covered with paint poorly. It’s just a painted rust bulge... Now the entire bottom is falling apart and it doesn’t even have 84,000 miles on it and we are not hard on it. At this point I’m ready to trade it in for whatever I get and buy something else. Needless to say, avoid this place at all cost. Save your time and money and go to a real dealership where they actually put the time and effort into the cars they take in and resell.

Came here because I was in desperate need of a car and they had a cheap one that didnt seem terrible. Noticed some cosmetic stuff wrong with the car, but it is older and as long as it ran well I didnt care. A sensor light did come on about the ABS, my salesman Matt said they would fix it before pickup.New inspection sticker was put on, car gassed up and the sensor was fixed as promised. Was a bit miffed that the car wasnt cleaned or detailed... still very dirty inside including a big stick in the backseat.When we finalize the paperwork I realized the insurance wasnt in the packet, they didnt notice until I mentioned something. Also, after a month of a temporary registration with no official one in sight I emailed the owner to confirm they had taken care of everything at the DMV. He said hed check in the morning... 12pm rolls around and no word so I emailed him again. He emails back that he is currently at the DMV, sorry it wasnt done they were busy. So thats twice I caught something important they were supposed to have done.The sales staff and owner seem nice and Im happy with the car especially for the price... however I didnt appreciate the stress of double checking everything because of their inattentivness to paperwork.

Coming from a fellow dealer their business practice performed is beyond unethical and against all business principles. Price was agreed on a vehicle. I asked dealer to allow us to call back once we secured our customer. Called up the following day to make the deal and Fred, refused to sell the car when he had a chance to make a couple thousand more. Bad business and greed at its finest.

TL;DR – I will come back here in the future. No pressure, fair pricing, all staff interaction very positive AND they drove the car to my mechanic for an independent inspection before purchase.I had a very satisfactory experience purchasing my car at Broadway Cars, LLC. A few notes I would like to share (and also the reasons I will be a repeat customer should they ever have another vehicle I am interested in). I took interest in a used 2009 Honda Element. Of which I was assured that it underwent a full 88 point inspection to determine if it had any major existing problems. I asked if they were willing to let my mechanic have an independent look at it – not only did they agree, they drove the vehicle to his garage in Troy. That is excellent. My mechanic confirmed that it was, in fact, in good condition and worthy of a purchase if I was still interested.I primarily worked with C.J. the whole time. Very easy going, helpful and personable guy. He was accessible via phone and text message at a wide range of hours, including weekends. I felt the whole time I interacted with C.J. that I was never pressured and given every effort to come to my own conclusions about the vehicles on their lot. In short, I would buy from him again.Fred from finance was also very fair. Room was given to haggle over the purchase price and warranty pricing. I felt as though we both came to a reasonable agreement for the overall purchase, and the trade in value of my car was right on the money. Fred also contacted me a day after the purchase to mention that some paperwork had been forgotten, he sent an employee to deliver them at my job! Again, going that extra mile.Besides an incident with my driver side trim that fell off when driving (which they assure me is going to be fixed, it was never properly clipped back on after detailing) I can overall say that I was happy to come here. No pressure, fair pricing and good trade-in value.Some cons: it is a small establishment, with limited selection, many high mileage vehicles (that may be a turn off to other potential buyers), you may have to wait for service if they are busy, and I don’t see much of a wait area to hang out.If you are a potential customer it is worth a shot. Take a look. I read all the reviews before coming here. I’m happy to leave a good review for a smaller business like this in Albany. If anything noteworthy changes my opinion, I will update. I bought a Golf R from them that was described as like new. The whole car had been previously painted, the trunk wouldnt close, and the rear view mirror was installed upside down. After trying numerous times to get a hold of somebody concerning the vehicle at the dealership Fred Jr. took my call. I sent him the pictures documenting my concerns. Once again, I had to call to follow up with no response. After following up with another email he rudely replied. In the end they did nothing but led me on that they would look into it and do what was fair which was apparently nothing in their eyes. Typical slimey used car dealers. Buyer beware!

Great place to buy a used car

The car has had one thing after another go wrong with it! Found out that there was damage from an accident prior to us getting the car, yet it was not revealed by them, car had many recalls that were not properly fixed. It’s not enough to just replace a recalled part - from the junkyard but to not replace the supporting parts to the affected recalled part - is just irresponsible!

First came in contact with the dealer through cargurus and submittd a request. Alex got a hold of me and answered all my questions. After a few days they reached out to me and offered me a better deal. We left off that i would come saturday morning. Arrrived as greated by alex walked over the vehicle and took it for a test drive. Alex was very professional in explaining the car details. Was not pushy like a typical salesman. Sat down we talked numbers and now after a few hours i have my new vehicle with top of the line brand new tires a full gas tank and detailed.
