My vehicle has been in service for 3 months now for a recall. When I first dropped it off I was told I had 20 people in front of me, & that in line for a loner vehicle I was like 1 month away. Month 2 comes I get told that they still don’t have the loner vehicle in that it will be in Wed. then I was told Friday then Tuesday and so on. So then they told me “we no longer let customers hold our loner cars”. THIS HAS BEEN THE MOST STRESSFUL WORST EXPERIENCE EVER & overwhelming. OKAY, so then I get told that my part was order and that the arrival time will be the last week of October. I just called today and they told me my part has NOT been order and that 20 people are in front of me. THEY LITERALLY DO NOT CARE about how you feel or what you are going threw. I’m getting told false information every single time. The service here is really bad to the point that management does not even do anything about it. This is my 3rd Hyundai purchase & will be my LAST.

I took my car there to get a diagnostic of what was going on with it. I told them the things that was wrong but I wanted them to fully inspect my car. Well they came up with about 11,000.$ worth of stuff that was Supposedly was wrong with it. Well they said my turbo was whining which they changed 9 months ago. So I left and on my way home my alternator went out. He never said anything about that. Well I replaced that and the whining stopped. So I figured I needed a second opinion so I took it to 5 star in Warner Robins and they have found less than 2000$ worth labor and all wrong with it. My turbo was fine and a lot of other things they claimed was wrong with it wasn’t!!!! They knew I had a very good Warrenty and they about pay for everything so I am assuming they was trying to rip my warranty people off… my warranty pays for the diagnostic fee but would only pay for one so I had to pay Albany 207$ and asked since they completely done a false diagnostic would they refund me my money and they said they would call me and never did. I also waited until Warner Robins got through with there diagnostic test to compare them both before I said anything to Albany. I honestly feel as though They completely screwed me over and was trying to screw over my warranty people! I suggest to never take your car here. It would be different if they had tried to make things right or at least called me back and talked to me about this situation. If they had of done that I wouldn’t have never put this on here. But I have plenty of evidence to support what I’m saying on here is true! Don’t trust them at all!!

My name is keeshaun harris and I just got my car June 1st well today is 7/30 and the pass few days I’ve been back and forth to dealer I’m tired nobody has any loaners and nobody can fix my car until September I feel like this is very unfair seeing tho all my stuff and work that has to be done is covered by the warranty I supposedly got a NEW CAR I’m not understanding why I’m going thru this literally sitting at home with my car outside because nobody has a car for me to get my stuff fixed HORRIBLE THEN I SIT IN EACH DEALER LIKE IM ON THE CLOCK ITS ALWAYS ALONG WAIT THIS IS ALL TO MUCH FOR ME MY DAD JUST DIED AND NOW MY BEAND NEW CAR THAT ONLY HAD 175 on the dash has a transmission issue now I guess🙄🙄🙄

Awesome! Jai, Service Manager, one of his word with a million pressing needs on his mind. Chris Macleod, a Master Mechanic, willing to donate his blood to the project (front bumper replacement, brake overhaul, mirror repair, inner wheel well replacement, and belly pan replacement). Ive been around cars nearly 60 years as not only a driver, but a mechanic and I came away from the experience with a bucket full of new knowledge. Im so Happy knowing my Genesis is now in the very Best and Safe condition. You Guys are GREAT! Thank You!!!!!

From day one its been a nightmare. I was never showed anything about my new car which I bought 2016 October it is a Hyundai Santa Fe 2017. I had to drive 50 miles and come back to see this guy named Byron who showed me all points of my new car.I think Cedric was the salesman. Every time I have it serviced they forget to do the right milage, forget to do fuel injection, wiper fluids. Right amount of air in the tires. Its always something. I have had to even come back. They lost my lug lock then replaced with another one and said it will work. Well I wanted a new one that was not greasy and was made for my car not one that just works but does it work properly. The last time the lady assured me one person I requested would do my 60,00 mile service they put the wrong service milage in the computer. This lady was more interested in selling me another car than what she was suppose to take care. Of course the guy that was suppose to service my car could not This day that was scheduled 3 weeks ago. The new guy at the window in the service area was super nice. None of this was his fault. This is just part of the problems I have had with this place. This Mr Walker was so rude he wouldnt return my call about the lug lock. I worked on this for about a year. The service guy in the customer service area before this one was so rude he said you are not getting a new lock My car was paid off in 3 years through Hyundai. I will never buy another vehicle at Five Star Hyundai in Albany.I could ad more to all of this but no one you email or talks to really cares. They just refer you back to the service department! There is never a really great compensation for all that I have put up with except one little oil change. Thanks for hearing me out. I am a senior citizen and this really upsets me from day one. This company has changed hands 3 times and is still no better. People just half do their jobs. Wonder what I will find wrong today!

The entire experience lived up to the Five Star name. The salesman, Bengy, was great. Extremely helpful, courteous, patient, and thorough. He went the extra mile to make sure we were taken care of. The financial manager was friendly, knowledgeable and not pushy. He has a passion for the work he does and for the company. Our car was taken in for an oil change and tire rotation. Somehow the tech did not read the work order and did not rotate the tires until I told him when he was returning the car to the customer pickup area. Luckily, I was outside observing during the entire service. When I got in the car, it had grease on the door and at the ignition start button. I opened the hood and noticed oil had been spilled on the cowl and engine cover. When I got home, the car was leaking oil from where the oil plug had not been re-tightened properly. The team there was very apologetic about the incident. This really could have been a catastrophic failure with oil leaking. Ms. Elizabeth at the service counter was very professional and nice to work with. I hope this is a one off as I know they are better than this. I look forward to giving a five star rating for my next visit...could only squeak out two for this one.

Akelah is the best sales person. My one stat rating is for the Service Dept. I took my 2020 Accent in for service told the Service GM of what my car was doing he said it probably needed the oil change i went about my day my car was STILL acting wierd I took my car BACK AGAIN THAT DAY and nothing was done!!! The next day my car messed up 100% not drivable! Now i might have to get a new transmission all because THEY did not listen to what i was saying!! Now my car has been in the shop for 5 days at another Hyundai Dealer and i have no vehicle to get around! The service department is a JOKE!!

I hate to write a negative review on a business, but sadly the sales manager, Kevin Miner has left me no choice. 1. The vehicle I agreed to buy was replaced at the last minute with another that had different accessories. Kevin agreed to send the accessory which was included on my we owe you statement along with permaplate which also has not been provided. 49 days later, still no part. 2. They also sold me a GPS tracking system . 49 days later....no system activation.I have requested a refund of the GPS system, Kahu, because it is really nothing more than a dealer inventory tracking system with ZERO end user support (I cant get them to turn it on, because they only work with dealers) and I have also requested the missing accessory or compensation. I have complained to Hyundai corporate customer satisfaction who could not care less but did say they would contact the dealership. Im unsure if they did, but I have gotten no response.To date its been 49 days since my deal was signed and Ive been nothing but lied to and ignored by the dealership. This is a shame given it was the 3rd vehicle purchased with them by our family. Needless to say there wont be a 4th.**Edit** Bumping up to 3 stars because they did finally resolve all the issues. It is a shame it took almost three months.

I experienced the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I called to have a tire repaired because of a nail. The operator was VERY RUDE and did not allow me to speak with a technician. I keep being transferred to a voicemail. When I finally was able to speak with a tech guy to inquire about getting the tire repaired, he stated he would call me back. As of this moment, I still have not received a call. NEVER AGAIN

On a trip from Alabama to Florida, our car had engine trouble. We stopped in Albany at Five Star Hyundai, and even though it was a Saturday and there was not a mechanic, they took very good care of us. They gave us a loaner car so we could continue our trip, they ordered a new engine for us, and on our next trip we picked up our car, which had been repaired. We got first-class treatment from the service manager, Karl Barry. Im so thankful for the kind and generous treatment that we received.

Very unhappy with the service department. My 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe has been in and out of this shop since July and I am nowhere closer to getting my vehicle back to an operational level. Never heard from the general manager throughout my entire process. An organization that doesnt have or make the time to appropriately address the concerns of its customers is not an organization I want to do business with and doesnt deserve the name five star, but one star.

I had an excellent car buying experience with Five Star Hyundai. I came from out of town and was able to communicate with a young man named Zodie Bowen. He was very professional and prompt when answering calls/emails/text. When I arrived at the dealer he made me feel right at home and did not pressure me or give me a hard sell. I genuinely felt that he was working to get me exactly what I wanted and that is very rare in sales. Also he was very prompt in responding to text/calls and emails after the sale which is virtually unheard of. If you have an opportunity please ask for Zodie, you will not be disappointed.

The best experience I have had buying a new car. Everyone was nice, they made our time at the lot as minimal as possible. Love my car and would highly recommend AutoNation of Albany to anyone looking for a new vehicle. Kristie Hortman was awesome to work with and she made sure everything was ready for us when we got there to sign the paper work. We did not have to wait more than a few minutes. I think overall we may have spent an hour, maybe an hour and a half at the car lot from start to finish. That is a new record!! :D

I spent a ridiculous amount of money for a new remote for my car and had it synced to my car. I drove 5 miles down the road and did some shopping. When I got in my car, I was sitting inside with it running for about 3 minutes and my entire car shut down on its own. Ive had no issues with my car in the time Ive owned it and find it a strange coincidence that all of a sudden, after being at the dealership, my entire car shuts down and wont start. I have to wait for AAA to tow my vehicle to Hyundai where I am charged $142.00 for them to diagnose the problem. Funny, my car was working fine before I took it there and they are going to charge ME to find out whats wrong. Worst dealership Ive been to. Again, how coincidental that something goes wrong after theyve messed with it and then charge ME! Then they want $700 on top of diagnoses for a part that costs all of $120. Even at $50 an hour for a job that shouldnt take more than an hour, where does the other $500 go? RIP OFF! Needless to say, I then had to have the car towed to my home. So 2 tows and $400 for a new remote and diagnosis later, VERY UNHAPPY!!

Everyone was professional and polite, but they estimated it would take 45 minutes for an oil change and it ended up being 1 hour and a half, twice as long.Evidently, the others in the waiting room encountered the same overrun time-wise. It would be helpful if you are going to take twice as long as estimated to update those who are waiting. Plus, I happened to be outside when my car was driven outside the maintenance entrance and I followed the service man into the desk, or I believe the wait would have even been longer based on the activity at the desk.

For transporters:Fairly safe and ample parking for trucks/trailers.No head facilities after hours.Restaurants too far away to walk to but many located a short drive across the Interstate.

My daughter took her 2013 Hyundai Sonata in for an oil change just like she normally does. Not knowing upon leaving that her oil cap was not in tap she proceeded to head back to Americus Ga. Once she arrived in Americus she realized something some seriously wrong under the hood because she smelled burnt oil. She notified me, her mom, about what has inspired and I initially tried to call the dealership right then. It was closed. So the following morning, I got up calling the dealership so that I could talk to someone about the situation. I finally talk to someone in Buford Ga at the call center. She also tried to reach someone at AutoNation Hyundai but it was a no go. When I finally got to talk to someone and I told her about the situation. She tells me that I have to get the car towed over there to them and I said no I will not be doing that because this was not my fault. This person goes by the name of Jacob. She is very disrespectful in regards to others property. In my opinion, she acted like the technician had done nothing wrong. I told her to get in touch with the manager, and she no will not because it is his day off. My response to her was so what my daughter is without a car over the holiday weekend. What did she care because she said all the cars was loaned out already. I would not recommend anyone taking their vehicle here for any type of service because it is terrible. What if that car would have blown up because of all that oil leaking everywhere under the hood. What would have been her response then if something would have happened to my daughter while she was driving that car. People like her dont need those type of positions because it can cost the dealership a lot of money in the end.

The folks at Hyundai in Albany did an excellent job for me. They got me right and seemed to do a complete job. They even told me Ihad 3 recalls (minor things) and we set up a time to take care of that.Good job!

Horrible. Simple brake issue was not solved. My car was kept of over a week even though I had a scheduled appointment and it was covered by an extended warranty. I called for updates and was left on hold for 30 minutes on 6 separate occasions. I left messages about 15 times and never received return calls. The person I spoke with at the location was rude and accused me of lying about calling for updates. And then tried to overcharge me for the repair. The car was not repaired and they actually made it worse! Took it back and they kept it 4 days and still did not fix anything. NEVER GOING BACK.
