Overall, amazing experience. The staff was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and fun to work with. Staff was able to fix my phone in an extremely quick manner and it looks better than when it was new.

Awesome services. Yesterday morning I was going to pay a full $799 to pay to upgrade my phone because I had a mean nick on my screen that lead to multiple cracks in it and I didnt want to risk it to get water damaged through the crack, then I learned that I had insurance on my phone and uBreakiFix was my best option to get it fixed professionally. This establishment had my iPhone X for 2 months. With the understanding more serious repairs have to be sent to a master technician; not once did the establishment follow through with calling me back like I was told would happen with updates at the minimum of once a week or a reasonable explanation as what was diagnosed and applicable repair(s). The only time I received a phone call was when my phone came back - The lack of professional communication and follow-through resulted with the insinuated conclusion that my iPhone had been fixed. It was not fixed. Come to find that the technician needed more time with it and before consulting me with me about the status of what needed to be done they told the technician to send it back. A 2 month waste of time and resources. Due to my experience here, I will not conduct business here again.Recommendation: Go in with the expectation that you will have to be overly proactive, ensure a discussion of a set date and time when some sort contact will be held on the status of your device, and remember that “respectful” customer service does not ensure that a task will be accomplished; that businesses will not always follow through.

Came here to replace my broken screen, but after the repare the buttons controlling my volume and power stopped working the day of the repair. When I came back to repair the phone again, only a few days later the power and volume buttons stopped working again.

I haven’t heard about this place until today and they did a great job fixing my screen at a short amount of time. Great costumer care! And they have good deals on the screen protector and nice cases.

Fixed my iphone 8 plus there 3 times and screen kept popping out bc they didn’t change my battery i needed a new one and my ringer and vibration motor was missing and there was missing screws everywhere i needed a battery replacement and screen repair smh😒 i will not go to this place again way worse then a 1 star review i am sorry but you took my vibration motor and my battery is messed up every since i got my phone fixed from you guys

Yesterday my husbands phone went blank, we went to Horizon, as that’s were we bought it. Horizon told us it couldn’t be fixed and we would have to buy a new phone. We called and got directions to Skins and Armour, we arrived there and in less then five minutes our phone was fixed and we were back on the road. I brought in a Microsoft tablet to try and repair. They were very sociable and friendly and gave me the heads up that it might not be repairable. I went forward hoping to get it fixed, and after several tries, the tablet was unrepairable....thats not what I am disappointed about. During the 3 months they had it, I called 6 times, they called me one time. So low marks on communication skills. Then at the very end, after I came in and inquired about it, they brought out the tablet in pieces and said they were throwing in the towel on it. Again, they never contacted me, I had to contact them. They never spoke of any refund of the $175 I gave them as a deposit on parts or repairs, they didnt communicate anything to me about the case I brought it in or where it was. They just stood there apologizing for not contacting me. Terrible customer service. I wont go back and thats a real shame because I think Yuma needs a repair shop, but to run a business, you need communication skills and these guys really disappointed me.Update: Skins and Armor called me very promptly, they were very kind and gracious and offered a partial refund. I really appreciated this and I hope to be working with them again in the future

They fixed my phone so fast and it wasnt too expensive at all! If I would have sent it in for an insurance claim, it would have been MUCH more expensive. Im so glad we have a place in town that can fix your phone fast and they dont even judge you for bringing your broken phone in twice in one month! Their customer service is also amazing. If you have an iPhone X or XS, go to Apple instead. They were unable to fix my screen properly, walked in and noticed the employee juggling my phone while attending other customers, didn’t seem very professional of him. Had to go back more than 4 times, because after “fixing” it, the screen would just glitch out or never turn back on to the point where they permanently deactivated my Face ID. I tried reaching the owner and he would never return my calls or messages. Would not recommend to anyone who has some of the newest products. Dont waste your time investing with them.

The camera protector broke off but my camera was working perfectly fine. I THOUGHT ubreakifix was the perfect place but unfortunately it was the worst decision ever !! I took my phone in at 11am and didnt get my phone back until 7pm not even that my camera no longer worked !! The employee told my husband that they werent unsure why the camera no longer worked, and that they would order a camera to replace it for $50, at the time I was fine with the decision but things changed when I noticed that the lens was glued and as you can see fell off the phone ! I then went back and they told me that they would do a complementary on the camera which I agreed. They told me that they would receive the camera piece the following Wednesday and its been over 2 weeks and every time we call they say that due to the virus they’re not receiving shipments and that they would call is back. Till the day I am still waiting for a call.

When my iPhone was in need of repair I went to several local repair shops to see if I could get my phone properly diagnosed. Two previous shops told me that the battery was the only thing that was wrong with it despite it also having touch screen issues. This location was the only place that ran a more formal diagnostic test and was able to tell me exactly what was wrong with my phone. They quoted me the price and time for the repair and while they were more than willing to complete the repair, they also told me that they wouldnt necessarily recommend making the repairs due to the age of my phone compared to getting a newer device. All the staff were incredibly friendly, honest, and seemed to really care about assisting customers in a timely, effective, and efficient manner.

After the home button on my iPhone 5 finally would no longer work, AND when the Otter case was removed, revealing a huge 1/4 inch gap under the screen, we feared a new $$$ phone was going to be our only option. I called Skins and Armor and asked about a repair and he told us to come on in, so we immediately went there. The knowledgeable young man knew at a glimpse what our problem was. My battery was swollen and could have burst at any moment. Yikes! He replaced the battery and everything is working good as new. And the price was a fraction of what a new phone would have cost. So I have been going to these guys since there days in the old Yuma mall kiosks getting custom stickers there service has always been great. My dad got a iPad tablet and they were the first called I made. There warranty on the gorilla glass is amazing. We will continue to use these guys for our phone screen and repairs. Website says they fix/diagnos iPod classic and iPod video and can repair screens. Employee starts by telling me not worth fixing. Let me be the judge of that. Then says I should go find a specialist because they can’t fix them without even doing anything. I’d be ok with situation if the site didn’t say they fix these items. Not impressed with the place at all.

Wanted my black iPhone 5S screen fixed. I was quoted roughly $75 or so. When I got my phone back it was replaced with a white iPhone screen and now looks ridiculous with a black home button still. Just feel for the price and what the job was done i would have waited for the right screen if given the option but no option was given. My phone isn’t even worth as much as they charge for the service.

I ran over my iphone 6 plus with my truck (the phone was in an otter case).The screen was smashed, and needed to be replaced.Skins and Armor did it fast, less than an hour, and did a great job at a reasonable price.I was impressed!

Completely shattered my screen and they fixed it fast and pretty cheap compared to others.However, after a few weeks the screen started malfunctioning. It would swipe and click things on its own. It would also become unresponsive to the point that I had to turn off the phone for a while to get it back to normal. Use at your own risk.
