At first wasnt sure...no one acknowledged us or offered to help, then were told they didnt have anything we were looking for. But with some patience and communication it all worked out well. I would go there again.
My sister, Patricia, and I were out shopping for a new washer and dryer. We all know how appliances break down at the worst times. We visited the big box stores and were not impressed. After searching the internet we decided to give Plaza Appliance a chance. We were impressed with staff in the store, and the delivery team. We were greeted with a smile and a real willingness to help the situation. No high pressure selling tactics here, just comfortable and friendly suggestions. We had the washer and dryer purchased, delivery arranged for the same day, and on our way home within 20 minutes. We both highly recommend shopping at this local business.
Did not hate it, but was deeply disappointed. The owner shared that he has been unable to get appliances for quite some time, due to the pandemic. We understand he has no control over this. He was polite.UPDATE August 2021: owner beginning to get stock. We ordered major appliances for new home; when items arrive, owner will store until time to install, and will not charge a storage fee. The price for all items very good, from our point of view. Added a star.
When you have something in stock and you tell the customer you don’t feel like delivering it today.. When people buy a new fridge is usually because they need it today not next week. And when you have it in stock but so don’t feel like delivering it that because it’s Friday and your lazy, this shows that your customer service Lacks any care for your community. Won’t ever buy from you ever !

Very friendly and reasonably priced. Very competitive to the big box stores. I was there less than 15 minutes and purchased the refrigerator I wanted. They even delivered on the same day for free and took away the old refrigerator. Wow I am very impressed with their service and prices.
Plaza Appliance will never darken our door. They are rude, disrespectful and lack integrity. They advertise as a Authorized Matag Dealer which is why we went to them. We wanted to support local owned business during the pandemic. We tried several times to buy a washer but they didnt have inventory and wouldnt special order. Finally our old washer was ready to give up so we couldnt wait any longer. Home Depot had the washer we wainted and it was on sale also. They delivered and installed it unfortunately it developed a problem. Matag customer service created a warranty service ticket to Plaza. We waited for a call from Plaza which never came so we called them. The person we talked to said the service manager was out but would call us. We waited again for a call from Plaza which never happened. Its about 3 weeks now so we call again. This time we were very forcefully told that since we didnt buy from them they wouldnt respond. Never mind that they are a Authorized Dealer. I explained that we tried several times to buy from them to no avail. The conversation really deteriorated on their side from that point on. Finally they bad mouthed Maytag saying we probably received old inventory.After trying unsuccessfully to buy from them. Waiting 3 weeks for them to treat us like that when we have a problem. Matage and the buying group that they belong to should cancel any agreements they have.
The Gentleman who helped me out was so nice and pleasant when checking out washer in his store. Got delivery same day I bought it. When my dryer stops working that will be the first place I head.
Plaza Appliances was going to be where we went to purchase our next appliance. We have decided to buy local from now on, and could not be happier with our choice. The service was outstanding!!! Bought a new refrigerator, it was delivered within a few hours.Purchased a washing machine today, already hooked up and ready to use. Absolutely no waiting.The tech even hauled off the broken washer.We will definitely be returning when we buy our freezer.Highly recommend this business.
This place is absolute garbage. My family purchased all new appliances from this company. The fridge is about 2 years old (which my parents purchased a warranty for ) but unfortunately as soon as the fridge was a little over two years old it broke down. We called here so they could fix it and it’s been nothing short of a hassle with these people. We had someone come and “fix” the fridge, which he only glanced at it and put a sensor back in it’s place and my parents were charged $150. Which is an insane amount but not only that, the fridge continued to not work. We called back again and they told us they would be here around a time frame of 9-12. Perfect. It started to approach noon and no one yet. I was home due to my parents being at work. Well I called to see where they were, and they said they would not be showing up due to my parents no picking up a phone call in the morning. IF YOUR CUSTOMERS AGREED TO A TIME FRAME THEN YES THEY WILL BE THERE. THEY CLEARLY WANT IT FIXED AFTER HAVING FOOD SPOIL. This place clearly has incompetent staff. If I could give this place a 0 stars I would, the lack of customer service lacks as well.
Years ago I wanted to buy a top of the line Maytag with electronics. They advised I get the lower priced model. It lasted numerous years and still working. Service installation very professional. And courteous. Good products. Great price.
I support local stores. Bought all my appliances there. When they have to order parts when repairing an appliance it comes by wagon train. Looked up the hose my washer needs in Amazon they can deliver it within 24hrs no shipping fees. 7 days now they still have not received the hose. I am disabled or l would do it myself...sigh.
I (we) had a bad experience with a refrigerator. they were gracious in giving me a super deal on a new one. Thank you, Dick and all the guys at Plaza. .

Wanted to support local Mom and Pop shop. Very disappointed in the lack of customer service. Pat would not get out of his chair in the back corner behind the counter to give us the time of day. Consider him a shiester. If I could have given a 0 star rating, I would have.
Cant say enough about the great service and care that we get from Plaza Appliance. Also GREAT prices on new appliances. Shop local and get better service, care and prices !

Worst experience ever!!!! I normally dont rate anything but this time I felt the need to warn anyone who may be thinking about going to this store. My husband and I are in the process of having a custom home built. We have been shopping for ALL new appliances and are looking at spending over $10,000 easy. We had been to other stores in the area but wanted to look into supporting a local business. In addition, we wanted to inquire about a higher end slide in gas range or cooktop. Of course we had seen them online and were looking at going out of town for this but had read on the internet that this store sold Viking along with Bertazzoni. I went in this afternoon to see if I could speak to someone and get some additional information. When I walked in, there was a man on the other side of the counter sitting in the far corner. When I inquired about the range in particular, he told me they had nothing to show and I would need to go online and look for an item number and bring it back to him and he may be able to order it. I asked him for additional information about the products and once again he told me the same thing. I asked about the higher end appliances and he said they only sold Viking although their Facebook indicates they also sell Bertazzoni. I proceeded to ask him for recommendations on which brands would be the better ones to go with. I also mentioned I wasnt necessarily looking for the best of the best but certainly didnt want the worst. Somewhere in the middle would be a good fit for us. His response, which I found very offensive was well, we dont deal in the lower Frigidaire $300 to $400 range if thats what you are looking for. At this point, I was done trying to give him my business. I was not greeted when I walked in the door. He never once got up from his chair behind the desk. He made an assumption about me and insulted me by his Frigidaire remark even after I repeatedly told him what I was looking for. If you want good customer service you will need to go elsewhere. Honestly I have had better customer service at Home Depot and I honestly dont like Home Depot. Dont waste your time going here. If you are looking for higher end professional appliances, I hate to say it, but I encourage you to go out of town instead of trying to support this local business. Just as another addition to this review, the person who can be thanked for this review is actually one of the owners/partners of this establishment. I know I would have never received this kind of service from Dickey whom I have had the privilege of meeting when he coached softball.
