The two gentlemen who helped me repair my car were delightful. I know my car needs a lot of work and they handled my most important issue first while providing me with a list of other issues and helping me work out financing. They called around to obtain the lowest prices for my brakes and rotors, which surprised me to find someone who would do that. I also have the choice of waiting while the work is performed and seeing photos of what needs to be repaired.

Did great with fixing a fuel injection pump, alternator and inspection. However, when I got the car back, The radio didnt work and the clock didnt keep time and no one knew why. My gas gage stays at full and I have no idea when gas is low until it is near critical. These things were working prior to repair. In the picture, You see the gas tank symbol indicating Im out of fuel and the gage still reads full. Changed my rating, brought it back in and they fixed those problems without additional charge.

Not sure if they are really understaffed or the guy who is supposed to interact with customers is painfully introverted, but no one watches the lobby to address customers... consistently. Communication was awful via automated text with links that told me nothing. I still had to call twice. It took a week to confirm a diagnosis. They didnt do any work. Not a great experience.

I brought my car to them and they said I needed $680 worth of work done to my car. Took it to my regular garage and they said it didnt need any work done to it. I dont recommend coming to this location.

I have an old 1990 Volvo 240 wagon. Needless to say she needs alot of work on a pretty regular basis. Ive been going to shops for a long time and this has been the BEST shop experience Ive ever had. (I was concerned when I moved to York initially.) Ian was understanding of my financial constraints and was extremely courteous and professional. One of the young men that worked on the car was also very courteous. (I didnt get his name unfortunately. Sort of medium length hair. Very nice!!) Everyone was wonderful. I highly recommend this shop. I already have another appt with them. Brick problems.

Things that I have been putting off and things that I was not aware of was shown to me and we took care of the most serious problems first. I will come back and take care of the rest at another time. They were very knowledgeable and friendly, it was my first time going there but it wont be my last. My car has over 200,000 miles and he said with a little bit of work, that I could have many more years of driving with the proper maintenance. It is my drive to work only vehicle, so I really havent done much maintenance on it like I should. I drive it to work and it sits for 2-4 days ( Im a truck driver) sometimes 5 days at a time. It feels good to find a good vehicle maintenance shop that you can trust. I even tried to give the young man a tip and he wouldnt accept it. He said that he just likes to see satisfied customers.

Convenience. Their facility is right across the street from my house. I can drop my vehicle off, entrust to Meineke care, and pick it up later in the day or evening. I work third shift, so there’s no waiting around. They do what they need to do; I do what I need to do... go back home and sleep until later in the day before going back over to pick my vehicle up. Love that. Huge benefit. I get the best of both worlds, the service needed, and the rest needed as well. Thanks guys. Five star service and always available. Nuff said. Think everyone gets my drift. ✌️

I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Meineke today! Ian was super helpful with answering any questions I had, getting financing options for me, and giving me the best deal for what was wrong with my car. Everyone there is super nice and my car runs so well, it feels like I just rolled off the lot with it! Cannot recommend this place enough, 1000/10!!!

I took my car in for inspection and an oil change. In addition to needing tires, which I knew, they found a major repair that had to be made. I checked with CAR SHEILD and they said they would pay for the struts. However, after numerous phone calls made by me and Patrick, it turned out I would only save $55. Patrick was a champ at working with them, but they are very difficult to file a claim with. Patrick did as much as he could to keep my expenses down, but CAR SHEILD is useless. I am canceling CAR SHIELD today but will keep going to Meineke. Thanks again Patrick.

Very honest mechanics working here the experience was great! I went in not knowing much about my car and what it needed, to leaving with sort of like portfolio of my car with valueble information of what my car has and what it needs. Theres not many places that take the time to get in depth with their costumers like that. I cant tell you how many times I left a mechanical place confused about the job that had been done or questioning wether the mechanic were being honest with me cause my lack in knowledge of cars but with these guys if you dont know much about cars they take the time to show you help you understand not only by word of mouth but with actual proof. Too good believe right?... I know 😎

Went in thinking I needed new brakes and right away they got me in, looked at my brakes and took pictures. They where honest and told me I actually only needed a new tire. The guy at the front desk was knowledgeable and friendly, he took the time to explain to me what was going on with my car and remembered my name when I came in the next day. They called asking me to drop off vehicle early. Then I get a email 2 hrs later with a list of things they plan to do that I didnt ask for. 3 hours in and they still hadnt moved my vehicle. While I was there the manager was yelling at employee. Finally I said enough and went to pick up my vehicle. They even gave me the wrong keys. They refused to give me replacement inspection and emission stickers unless I had the vehicle completely inspected at my cost. Which my stickers were good for another 6 months. Only reason I needed replacement was because I got a new windshield. They was trying to do everything they could to charge me for stuff I didnt need. That aint happening! Pepboys did everything I needed at a fair price and in a timely manner! Oh and they tried to say I needed brakes yet my vehicle had never left the spot I parked it in! No way the pulled the wheel to see. It was parked out on the road.

My husband and I are first time customers and thanks to Lee the gentleman who took our info. He went above and beyond and then more so we understood everything and was so patient with all our questions. He gave us his full attention and made sure we left happy. He definitely needs to be recognized for his amazing customer service.

I needed an oil change for two vehicles and they were able to fit me in right away in the morning, Neil was really friendly and understanding. They serviced us quickly, giving us soda juice and coffee which really helps when you have a 2-year-old. They were able to give us 50% off and let us know of all the additional issues with our car which we can now address. I had a great experience and although I typically prefer to change my oil myself I believe I will be visiting this location more and more into the future. Their prices are unbeatable and its a lot more convenient than getting down on the ground yourself.

I use to have my jeep oil changed here regularly until one day I noticed what appeared to be an oil leak under my vehicle. I took my vehicle to Meineke and was informed it was a transmission fluid leak and was quoted a large sum of money. I decided to get a second opinion at a jeep dealership and another reputable car care center. Both stated the leak was not transmission fluid but an oil leak due to the oil filter being over tightened which caused the housing to crack. I had my vehicle fixed and went to Meineke to request they pay for not all but at least some of my bill, due that the damage was caused by their negligence. I left copies of the receipt, left messages many times and even had a certified letter sent to the owners. Till this day I have not even received one phone call in reference to this, but I continue to receive calls about getting an oil change. Really? If I could give them 0 stars I would. Do not trust your vehicle to get serviced at this place.

My only concern was very few employees was wearing a mask. Safety first. I saw a mask on the counter with the cashier but he never put it on and I stayed very far away.

Took our vehicle to get inspected. Left it there and picked it up later in the day and it failed inspection because of needing tires and something else. No big deal but the vehicle made a weird noise the whole way home that it didnt make before. Backing up the next day it makes another really high pitched noise it didnt make before. Brakes? No, they didnt say we need brakes. Could it be coincidence that just happened to start after we picked it up from there? I guess. Is it worth telling them about the noises? No. Theyll just say they didnt do anything. So why bother? Going to get new tires and go to another mechanic to find out what the noises are. Dealing with job loss right now and having to spend extra money to get a vehicle inspected so we can get to work is enough to deal with without extra stuff needing fixed because it was messed with.

I needed a last minute state inspection and they went out of their way to work my car into a busy Saturday, they also stayed open late so I could pick it up because I had trouble finding my way back to their store, I really appreciate them going above and beyond for me!

Took my girlfriends car there to get work done on the rear lights. There was a change purse that we had just used right before we dropped the car off which was in the compartment under the radio. When we picked up the car we drove off and realized the change purse was missing. I also had a bag from Ross in the trunk which was dumped out all over the trunk and someone had also went thru my center console and left everything that was inside on my passenger seat.A reasonable consumer would assume that if your not a regular customer here.....there employees will steal stuff out of your car.

I love going to the queen street Meineke. I used to change my own oil and bought a newer vehicle last year which I was uncomfortable with changing the oil. Every time I have gone in I am always greeted with a welcoming smile. Andrew and Seth are awesome!! Andrew has complete knowledge with Fords and always checks to make sure everything is running smoothly!! He keeps on top of recalls and informs me of maintenance schedules which is a huge plus! I love the fact that they have different mechanics that specialize in many different makes that way they know what they are doing. Seth has done my oil changes every time. I have never had an issue. I will definitely continue to go back! Its hard to find a good mechanic that is honest and trustworthy enough to let take care of your vehicle. Thank you so much!!

Well, I went to the this Meineke after attempting to register on line and then actually talked to a person who said he couldnt find that appointment. Soooo... he gave me an appointment a half hour later. When I arrived the manager couldnt find me in the computer program. I told him that I could wait. He was very nice and VERY apologetic. In the end we agreed to do tomorrow. The mans name, if he handed the right card, is Lee Parker. I holld no ill will for this interaction. Hes a great guy and I am sure that after tomorrow I will be impressed with the service too!

Ive lived 2 blocks from this Meineke and never gave it much thought until I need their services. We bought a used car a few weeks ago and needed it checked out, but most important to me is that the oil get changed before we headed out for a weekend trip to Indiana and Ohio tomorrow morning. They were very helpful and got me in this afternoon to do the work before they closed for the day. Very friendly service and willing to go the extra mile for their customers when they see they need it. Ill come here for for both our cars, and not only because theyre super close, but because I trust them.

Look, if you are in the York area or surrounding cities, THIS is where you need to go! Dont bring your ride anywhere else! The manager, Andrew, is freaking awesome! I met him back in August and now again today 10/27/18 for spark plug installation. The work they do is awesome! Allow people from different backgrounds and views to openly express themselves in a professional environment. Great for the company but also a man for the people. Very knowledgeable on cars and other things in life. When I first moved out here I thought this shop was going to be just another place where to get an oil change.. The staff and mechanics here offer MUCH MUCH MORE than that! This is now a permanent home for all my car needs. They keep me running and they will for you too!

The gentleman at the desk was VERY helpful and in my opinion went above and beyond. The mechanic was also awesome and they both showed me an issue with me axle seal and explained everything to me in terms in totally understood. The man at the desk called Jeep personally tense if I was still under warranty. He actually called 2 Jeep dealers to get me the info I needed! They did not take advanyage of a woman who knows nothing about cars, and actually saved me a lot of time and probably money! Thank you so much!

Every time I go they tell me a never ending list of work I need done to my car that results in thousands of dollars. Being 19 and knowing nothing about cars, I always then call my stepdad and dad who know their fair share about cars to confirm if I truly need these things fixed, and never have they said that I actively needed any of those things at the moment. I end every appointment with them feeling stressed as they persuade me to get a boat load of work done that I can’t afford. It can never be an appointment to fix what I need fixed, it always has to be them trying to get me to do more! And every time I go it takes forever! I’ve been late to work because it took multiple hours to do an oil change.

Went for alignment 6 hours later they never got it done talking about my kayaks are in the way took them off and they still didnt do it. They try to charge me $25 a piece for a bushing when its $17.49 for the pair and then they want to charge me $75 to put them on for a 10-minute job. Wasted my whole day on them waste the time un professional I would never ever go there ever again they try to give me a free oil change I dont even want that

Ladies beware of this place because they try to get over on woman and especially older people! Will give you one price and then when you get back it’s another price and they are slick and try to do work that you never agreed too and try to charge you more. My car sat for 2 days without the requested work being done. This includes not even diagnosing the problem yet they provided me an “out the door” final price on work they never did. No continuity in personnel and straight up lies. I paid for a rental car that I didn’t need, just to see my car parked outside the shop. Stay away and look for a shop with honesty and integrity, if any still exist.

If you arent going here you are going to the wrong place. Great staff, Everything is mot only explained to you but is shown to you. If you give your email you get a full itinerary of all work with pictures that you can actually see. As well the staff there are retired Military so yes I felt super honored.

I took my car for an AC check and knowingly as they stated that there was a leak they still filled it with refrigerant, charged me for itand then told me he fooled it based on his opinion he felt it would be better to take it to a GMC dealer. My question was why fill it when all I asked was to check it. Above all, they cracked my dashboard n told me I would not be reimbursed because GMC makes their cars cheap. 😱. Thats a matter of opinion that shouldnt matter to them. I reached out to corporate and was told meinekes are independently owned and corporate will not do anything. Youre at your own risk. Never again. I called corporate and supposedly meineke are independent. Lies

Told me everything my car needed now and everything it would need in the near future. Adam was also very friendly and knowledgeable, answered all the questions I had. Took my car here for service. Great experience. Great prices and my car was fixed right the first time. I will definitely make this my only place to get my car serviced. The best part is that I drive a Honda and they have a technician that is a Honda certified technician.

Be ware of they are doing. I brought my car in yesterday and have them check the small leak of my tire. Obviously they did not do anything to it and charged me $30.00 and told me they fixed the problem . When l pick up the car. The low pressure light is still on and went back to the shop. They said it was taking care of. I left and went to pump air to my 4 tires and it was working great. There were no obvious signs that the tire was attended to. I will never go back. If u don’t have the time to wait for it. I don’t suggest u leave the car there unless u were there to watch what they are doing .

My wife and i were in York shopping and my tire started to go flat-at 2 pm on a Saturday-I called and they said bring it in and they will take care of it. The tire could not be repaired so they put the donut spare on for me. They were polite and courteous the whole time from the person in front of the store to the tech in the garage. They also wessnt over my options and pricing on replacement tires. I highly recommend them for being honest because i know cars and prices and they did not try anything funny.

Had an appt for 930 3 hours past and still not seen, call to find out whats wrong and the gentleman basically tried to talk to me like I was dumb and didnt understand what drop off meant....second time giving this specific location a chance, never again

I recently had my car in for inspection. I knew it needed brakes and some other work to pass. This was the best experience Ive ever had at a repair shop. The guys explained everything to me and i felt like they took my questions and concerns very seriously. Their manager Mr. Khan even went out of his way to say hello and to make sure i had everything i needed while i waited for my car to be wrapped up. Highly recommend these guys!

The Meineke staff is always professional. Also, they make the repairs, quickly and efficiently. If you rather have auto repairs done by a big auto service company, I would recommend Meineke.

I completely agree with recent reviewers. This place is great. Andrew and the mechanics helped me out when I discovered nail in my tire the morning after Thanksgiving. He told me to bring it in despite them being busy. They fixed it while I waited, and I was able to make my long drive home safely as planned. And an extremely reasonable price for a last minute repair request. I can’t recommend them enough. Professional interaction and service!

I dont recommend this place at all. My daughter took the card for inspiration and to check a light that was on. Our friend told us that the light was code 420. When they checked the car the told my daughter same code. We ended up paying over $2300.00 because they keep finding apparently other things that needed to be repaired ASAP. All that was false. They wanted to charge another $1200.00 for something else which I said no to that. The car still with the same problem( code 420 )and today they told my daughter that finally they found the problem which is going to cost $1300.00. After the $2300.00 that I paid I refused to pay a penny to these people. I will have to take the car to a real mechanic. PLEASE PLEASE DONT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THEM if you dont want to end up paying for things that doesnt need to be repaired . Dont believe in what Andrew says. He wants to get money from people.

He is an excellent technician and I can always trust he will take good care of my vehicles.Thoroughly impressed with the inspection report that was provided by Meineke. Detailed and pictures of my Actual vehicle and not just some stock photos generated on an invoice as Ive seen at other shops. I will be returning to this location.

We asked for 1 thing, they gave us a quote on everything wrong, including unrelated issues.Secondly, they said they would have an answer in 30 minutes yet kept our vehicle overnight. When we narrowed down the specific service we needed, the cost was high in comparison to what we found later. Finally the worst part of it all was the loose lug nuts they left on the vehicle after checking it, putting our lives at risk! Thankfully we could feel something was wrong, stopped driving, and tightened them up. They were VERY, unbelievably loose.Doing business here is risky, a hassle and a waste of time. They talk sweet, yet mean harm if you do not let them screw you over. And this was our 2nd try after a 1st bad experience a year ago.

I was at Meineke today at the South Queen street location for an inspection. Jason was so nice and wonderful from the beginning, even when I expressing frustration with my car issues. And was able to work something out with me which was greatly appreciated. Jason was able to give me advice that was helpful about my car and prior incoming inspections. Ive been coming to this location since late 2013 early 2014. Havent had any problem, if there was a question or what not after something was done I would just come back and they would answer/fix it promtely.

I think I speak for most people when I say that visits to the mechanic are usually unpleasant. They give you bad news and expensive solutions. It was the exact opposite here though! I came in my first time with a flat tire, expecting to have to replace the tire, and within the hour they fixed the issue (a loose valve leaking) and sent me on my way. Andrew made my time there very pleasant and the Mechanics were just as great. They got a good group of guys there.

I was very pleased with service I received from Andrew. I contacted Meineke because my car was already in another shop getting serviced. However, there were other problems with my minivan that I needed to have addressed. The service shop that was doing other work on my van quoted me a price I thought was too expensive to have a new muffler installed and spark plugs and wiring replaced. Andrew told me I could have my van towed to his shop free of charge and once my minivan was there, he had it looked over, he researched and quoted me a price that saved me $200! All the work was done expediently and my van is now running very well! Thank you Meineke!

My partner went to get work done on her car (she needed a new muffler) and the price came to almost 600 bucks. The gentlemen told us about a financing option to pay off the balance. He specifically said it doesnt impact your credit and its calculated based off income.However, he still ask for my social security # but I thought nothing of it. As were waiting, another customer just finished having work done on her car and she leaves the shop. 10 minutes later we hear screaming and she walks back into the shop saying her tire fell off the car (the shop forgot to tighten the bolts on the tire)About that time my girlfriend is finishing up. We pay the down payment and leave. I check my credit a few days later and guess what I saw, yep this financing company on my credit. The gentlemen specifically mentioned it wouldnt go on my credit!I do not like dishonesty in business. If you arent sure, its best to say that instead of getting the sale. We are not returning to this Meineke or any other for that matter.

I can’t say enough about this place. A number of the local Meinekes are owned by the same family of veterans and are full of wonderful people but this location truly has been over the top. Friendly, polite, honest, and upfront about everything. They never ‘push’ me to get a service I didn’t need and if I stick around during the oil change it goes by quick because there’s always a good conversation. From my experiences they truly do what they can to take care of their customers.

I do not trust this place i went there tgey said it would cost something like 49 dollers to diagnose my care which tgey couldnt do so they wanted 214 dollers to do a better diagnotic test...i had them do an oil change and not even a full month later i had my check engine light on only to find tgere was barely an oil in it

Not even worth one star absolute worst service ever. Waited over 2 and a half hours for an inspection to be done that I had an appointment for then they were extremely pushy with trying to sell you unnecessary stuff. Also think they made things up that needed to be fixed but werent actually broken. And just to show how terrible of service they have, the lady before me who was there even longer waited for an inspection and oil change for over two hours and when they said her car was done they realized the forgot to do an oil change. How do you forget to do a scheduled oil change for over 2 hours?? Absolute garbage!

Extremely professional. Treated me like they knew me and I had never been here before. Went above and beyond to give me my options and ensure I was pleased. Highly recommend.

This location is unorganized and the manager is extremely rude. They will take 2 hours to take pictures of everything to upsell and not do the work you ACTUALLY took your vehicle in for.

I came here at the last mintue to get an state inspection and emissions done to my car. They got me in okus was the only Guarge that had a deal going on with this service. I also was able to add an oil change. They also change my filter all this cost me 101 I can complain about that. There customer service was great would recommend this place. I would also return again my first experience was great...
