I don’t know how did they get so many good reviews. I bought the car from them on Saturday just to find that the underneath is all rusted (2010 F-150). The rockers were shot totally. The car was valued 13500 and with the trade in, I ended up paying $15500... Don’t ask me... That all is on me, but this was my second and the last car I bought from them. I suggest, look for another dealer. They have nothing to do with other Koons dealers.

Do NOT do business with this dealership. They lied about my income just to get the deal. Got the deal and now here we are a week and a half later and I have to give the car back. Nobody can give me a straight answer. One lady said I lied about my SSN which I gave them my card so idk how I would lie about that. Anything to deflect blame from themselves. I spoke to the bank. I know they lied about income. SHADY people. And then when you try to get to the bottom of it they hang up on you.

I’ve purchased several cars throughout my life and I’ve only had two of at least 18 car sales experiences where I can actually say I appreciated the interaction with the salesperson. Mr. Timothy was great and this was possibly the smoothest trade and purchase my wife and I have ever done. Mr. Timothy even offered my two kids candy because he realized they were getting a little antsy. We purchase new cars and trade quite often. We will definitely be back to buy new cars in the future. Inquired about a car they advertised online started the loan process with my bank got the funding asked for the purchase order from the dealer, the salesman sent me the wrong document. When I asked him to send over the proper form it took him 6 hrs to correct his mistake. He explained the he was busy helping customers. To which I replied “I am a customer.” He then said “yea but I’m trying to help people who are buying cars.” Again I replied “ that’s what I’m trying to do.” Ended up having to wait until the following day to finalize the loan. Then they had offered to have my car delivered to my address but when the time came they said they couldn’t drop it off that night because no one wanted to follow him down the road to drive home back. That I would need to come pick it up myself. After I got my car they said I would need to get the md inspection and send them a copy of the certificate once it passed to process the switching of my tags. I’ve asked for confirmation of receipt of the inspection 3 times and have yet to hear from anyone. The worst customer service I’ve experienced buying a car ever.

So im on facebook and see a vehicle im interested in and contact the seller he goes by Jojo Brown claims to work for this business and says ask for Elliott when i come to buy. I make an offer on the vehicle he says price is firm. I say ok ill pay that price in cash today. He says its a dealership you wont get the title immediately. I say ok. Im coming from 2 and a half hours away so i ask a couple more questions. He says theres going to be another $2000 in fees added to the price. So i ask about the fees. He says taxes and title arent included in these fees. He does not explain what or why there are almost 2 grand in bogus fees and i also ask him 2 times during this conversation has the car been in an accident being the vin isnt given and alot of cars on the site are. He avoids that question as well. I do great business and i have full asking in cash and all i want is to buy the vehicle and im getting horrible service from one claiming to be an employee there and i havent even stepped foot on the premises yet. I will be calling them when they open to see if maybe someone else can help me buy the vehicle. I purchased my other vehicle from honda and was treated completely different. Maybe i need to just go back there. Dealership has a 3.9 out of 5. Alot of people will rate a dealership 5/5 because they just love their car. Of course the cars are made to be great. The experience and service should follow. He then sends me a message and says thank you for your review. I said your content about a bad review? Im sure your manager wont like that. He says oh they know theres people like you out there. Wow. I still have the messages if anyone is interested in seeing this.

The only thing I feel the need to mention out of the handful of issues I disagree is my sales person filled out my application for me, which I never saw nor did I sign. Long story short I go to the same credit union that I have my car financed. Seems easy simple. Got approved before, let me cut out the middle man (Koons) and take care of it myself. To better prepare for my second used car lot purchase. My sales person lied on my application made up or worked the numbers to get the sale. Im now questioned about an employment and earned income that was completely FRAUDULENT, that he had wrote for me by the way. The Credit Union now has flagged me. As I try to get answers I finally am able to get an answer from the manager and I get a copy of the application and other than my name and address its all wrong. The most common thing out of the 4 people i talked to is everyone says, Im not entirely familiar with what was said during your situation. JC was my sales person and the honest speal sales pitch and laminated business card is probably just as fake as the information he put on my application. The only thing that seems to be an issue is getting me another loan and financed so they can sell me another car. I havent even mentioned the buying and processing paperwork. Thats a whole other issue. Is it common practice at Koons to completely file false information and not share that with customer whos SSN is linked to that application? I told JC my employment, I shared 3 months of bank statements. I mentioned my living situation and my cost of rent. Everything he put on my application was a lie, from my employer, time of employment, and monthly gross income, even my position. The credot union informed me that my application states I work at walmart as a manager. Ive never been employed by Walmart. So whats the deal? Dont buy from JC . DONT LET KOONS FINANCE YOU. Take the time and do it yourself. My wife and I bought our vehicles within 24 hours of each other. We now will be requesting either from the dealership or from her finance company just to see what her application says. Yes he sold her the car too. Anyone who thought it was to good to be true. My advice. Check your paperwork and see the application. Honestly I would have rather not been approved then to worry about fraud. Im interested on what would have happened when I wanted to refinance. Doesnt matter if it was with Koons or another company.

If you are thinking about buying a vehicle from this location do yourself a favor and dont do it. I have had this vehicle just at the 2 month mark and I had to go buy a brand new battery for it. I hope it was strictly just a battery issue and nothing else internal. There should be no reason that i just purchased a vehicle and before I make my 2nd car note it has an issue. I had never heard bad things about this company prior but I shouldve known something was iffy about a company that sells you a car but doesnt even fill up the gas tank when you pick it up. My wife and I decided to patronize a local well known name in the car sales business much to our regret. Sales manager Robert Troop told me that they couldnt be held responsible for the lies and misinformation that their sales people tell when they have a sales event where they bring in outside sales representatives. We were told our 2016 Lexus IS300 was equipped with new brakes all around. $600 later we found out that only the rear brakes were replaced. Most vehicles use the front brakes for the majority of the stopping power. We were pad slapped on the front. That is a term used when a shady car dealer like this one installs new pads on old rotors giving you a false presentation concerning the vehicles brakes. The rear pads were changed and new and the front pads were good enough to pass inspection but they were put on warped, rusted and old rotors. Our personal mechanic in Manassas, Va. showed me how warped, rusted and corroded they were. We knew because the vehicle would shudder violently when braking from a higher rate of speed. An alignment let us know this was not the issue. We thought we had new brakes all around as told. Pads, Rotors and calipers. We did not trust Koons to do anything further. When I placed a call to Mr. Troop, he tried to make me feel like I was driving irresponsibly, accused me of using the vehicle as an Uber(cleaning up the accusation later with telling me that he needed to mention that), lied about the calculated mileage(im glad I did the math myself) telling me I placed over ten-thousand miles on the vehicle since purchase which was almost four-thousand more than the actual truth, told me I could bring the vehicle in to be fixed at regular cost, and then recanted that offer with a return call offering half price if he could convince the service manager to give me a deal and throughout each conversation, kept interrupting me with excuse, justification and rationalization. They must not understand the ideology of the customer being right, especially when they are right. I had no acceptable resolve after speaking with owner. In conclusion, they sold us a vehicle with a damaged front axle. Thumbs down all around. Taking advantage of people during these trying times. I know the owner will respond with a response that is as slimy and smooth as every other other slick car sales business around. But I encourage all to beware! Even the devil himself masquerades as an angel of light.

I got ripped off. I was in need and let them take advantage of me to the tune of 24.5 APR financing and paid $20,500 for a $12,000 VW Jetta. Which came to about $35,000 once the loan ran its course, of course I made huge payments to not end up paying so much. Unless you want to be ripped off with all sorts of add ons and sweet talk on why to buy dont go there. They are unethical and will take advantage of you if you dont know better. I have 737 credit score and financially stable. I had a low month 3 years ago and went for a car there after a friends recommendation who also worked there. Biggest mistake of my life. I learned my lesson. Ive gotten pretty savvy about car purchases since them. And doing well. Take this as a warning to be aware of what you get into, there are evil people out there who will take as much money from you if you let them. This dealer has many of those people.

She personally introduced me to everyone involved in the purchase process and future care of my vehicle, and made sure that every question I had was answered to my satisfaction, consulting the manager when needed, who was also very pleasant and helpful. I thought I found my dream car I drove three hours to pick it up within three days with one day of rain my Drivers floorboard was soaked I mean a huge puddle they said bring it back will fix it drove another three hours they said it was fixed it rain last night and guess what the driver side floor is soaked again very unsatisfied

I came here to get my first car, a grey 2014 Honda Civic to be exact, purchased from my parents and had NO problems whatsoever. A gentleman by the name of Mr. B I believe served my parents and I extremely well. He knew that the customer is the #1 priority to a successful sale. The process with the paperwork did not take that long, thank God for that. Was greeted with a few other people in the process, all with a friendly attitude. Very pleasant experience. Ive been looking for a minivan for 6 months. Only at Koons Auto. of Woodbridge I was able to find the right car for a right price. Elliott, my salesman, was friendly and not pushy. I was told about all the fees and charges beforehand so the door price was exactly as I was told by phone.
