Shattalon Tire always provides great service at a fair price. I trust them for accurate diagnosis. On occasion they have recommended a cheaper alternative to what I thought I needed, and they were always on target. They are my go-to for car service.

I had a minor surgery Friday & when I went to go to work on Monday, there was oil leaking from under my car. I was so upset and I tried 2 different places in King, only to be treated rudely or not even get service, I can only assume because I am a girl. I finally came here and they were so nice. The professional and courteous staff surpassed my expectations and I am grateful to Derrick, TJ, and the entire staff for my results and especially my peace of mind. Shattalon Tire & Automotive was referred to me by a relative after my car was diagnosed else where with a projected repair cost for one item of over $700 while being serviced and conducting the annual inspection for tag renewal. Shattalon Tire & Automotive completed that repair for approximately $260. I was also told of other issues and the cost couldve been well over $1200 including a diagnostic fee of $130 for just one of them. That whole repair cost at Shattalon Tire & Automotive was $138. Im a senior citizen and am more than pleased that I have found an honest, reliable, and trustworthy car repair service. Plus the waiting area was clean, comfortable, and they have good coffee to boot. Look no further if youre in the market for a top of the line car repair service. Its easy 2 find n Winston near Big Lots behind Walgreens on University Pkwy. They provide quick service & the employees r happy 2 explain wat is wrong & wat is needed 2 b done 2 ur vehicle & they provide all services 4 a cheaper price than most places + they r open 4 a few hours on Sat mornings if u arent able 2 make it there during the wk but sometimes finding a place 2 park is a little difficult bc they r usually pretty busy.

This was my first visit to the Shattalon location. Great people. Very friendly. Very accommodating. They will provide whatever service u like but r happy to advise if needed. So far, the tires they recommended r great.

The folks at Shattalon Tire were great to us. They got us a new set of tires the same day we called and worked with us on the warranty on the tires that needed replaced to save us money on the new set. We appreciated their customer service.

They were nice and quick, i needed my breaks done and being that it’s covid i had to make an appointment for another day in the week which was fine with me. Dropped my car off they called to tell me that my back breaks needed to be done as well which i like. ( most tire places just do it without telling you making you pay more) then told me my final amount. Price is reasonable for the work they had to do to my car. This my new spot if my car acts up again instead of going to VA. Thanks guys

Very efficient, friendly place to have your car worked on!

They are very busy but yet friendly and helpful. They asked me if I actually needed my tires that day because they close at noon on Saturday, it was after 10, and they had a line. They were thinking it would be at least 1.5 Hrs. I mentioned that I was traveling home from work in South Carolina heading to Michigan and I dont even think it was 15 minutes they called and told me I was all set. I really appreciated that. They also had the higher load rated trailer tires in stock that I needed and everywhere else I went across two states I was told they had to order them.

This place is great. They are a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. They work quick as well and found time to look at my Jeep, last minute, even when they were swamped with other cars. Really appreciate it.

The staff is really nice. I’m giving them a low rating because i’ve gotten an oil change twice from there (i drive a CHEVY HHR) and my car hasn’t driven right since then. I took it in for them to fix the damages (that they caused) and now i am stuck having to pay hundreds of dollars in damages. If they didn’t know how to change the oil in my car, that’s what should have been communicated to me. Like i said, the people are super nice, but i am quite frustrated that I have to fix problems they caused.

Quick, affordable, good work, and no bs. Im from Raleigh and needed tires bad. Didnt know what was wrong. They took my car in the shop day of and fixed her up. Got an alignment done a few days later for way cheaper than any of the chain run mechanics. I will recommend this place to anybody that is nearby and needs some auto repair done.

Can’t imagine taking my car anywhere else for regular maintenance, new tires or repairs. The service is generally quick but apparently lots of people trust them as much as I do. So when it’s necessary to wait a while they have provided the comforts of home!

I have been going to shattalon tire for several years. I have taken my van, truck, and mustang gt to be worked on. The staff is friendly but everything worked on continues to have the same issue. The van was stalling shortly after starting it and they replaced a computer in it at the cost of $1,300.00. I was willing to pay this however when the van was brought home and continue to stall. I took it back and asked him to take a look at it again however there was no fix. After that I took it to Advance Auto and ran diagnosis and came up with one of the spark plugs not firing correctly. I was frustrated that this $12 fix help the stalling. Shattalon Tire would not help me with the $1,300 they had charged me. I also took my Dodge truck to get the drum brakes repaired along with oiling the back axle. This cost me almost $1,400. 5 months later I had to buy a new rear axle. It is frustrating to me to spend all this money and get poor results. I would be careful about taking any of your vehicles here.

My family has been doing business with the folks at Shattalon Tires for years. They have very reasonable prices (usually costs me 50% less to get my oil changed there than other places) and their prices on tires are unbeatable. They have never steered me wrong and they have never recommended products or services they themselves don’t use. When I mentor young women in the community I point them towards Shattalon Tires because I know they won’t be taken advantage of because of their age or gender.

Im still in shock. Im female so I cant began to tell you how many mechanics have tried cheating me when it comes to vehicles... Not knowing that I dont look it but I know much about vehicles myself. Surprisingly this shop was even way cheaper than ANY other mechanic Ive spoken to INCLUDING the shade tree mechanic (I know I shouldnt ever trust a shade tree mechanic but its hard to find a good mechanic). He was so nice & fair, I could still give the shade-tree mechanic a try & talk him down but Im going with this shop. Ill have it towed to them tomorrow & also have them fix other issues.Update: while Im going through my updates I wanted to give an update. While these ppl were nice I literally wasted my money. The issue was never fixed & due to covid I work from home so it took awhile until I actually drove my vehicle, the issue continues & Ive just been saving on a new car. I did speak with them months back & they told me I could bring it back but I moved shortly after & I couldnt afford to have my car towed way back there.

I needed a tire for my daughters car to pass inspection and the gentlemen at Shattalon Tire were great, as always. I use them every year to replace tires on my vehicles and they never let me down. They offer great service (mechanically and customer wise).

After my husband passed I didn’t know anywhere else to go but to Shattalon tire because that’s where he always went. They take care of me just like they did my husband. Love you guys.

My first time at Shattalon Tire was a very pleasant experience. All the service folks there are very courteous and helpful and the price is right! I would definitely recommend them!

Customer service is adequate and friendly, however prices are much too high. I took my truck in for some work on the radiator, got an estimate, and realized the parts were twice as high as I could buy them at any parts store. The owner admitted to me that they pay their mechanics a percentage of the price they get for parts. To me this encourages parts replacements, possibly when they are not needed. They said that all repair shops do this, but I havent found any others with this policy.

Great place, great service, TJ, Carl, Bruce, Derrick and all those guys are nothing short of spectacular. They get you in and out quickly, they do great work and seem to always have your best interest at heart. Cannot say enough about how great they have been for many, many years!

I usually go to Shattalon Tire for all of my automotive needs and have been for many years. However I was disappointed with my last visit. My tire sensor in my truck indicated that my tire was losing air fast. I stopped to have my tire fixed. I was told that I needed 4 new tires which I was ok with. I left my truck overnight and got a call the next day saying I needed a new tire sensor. ALL 4 sensors were working perfectly when I dropped the truck off. So I am not sure what happened but the situation left me a little disappointed.

Brought my old truck in for concerns about squeaking brakes. Planning on selling it soon, so I wasn’t wanting to put a bunch of money into it. They took a look at it for me and diagnosed the squeaking as a U-joint. Told me the brakes were good all around and didn’t charge me anything. I really appreciate their honesty, bc they could’ve easily taken me for a chunk of change. Would highly recommend.

They were awesome TJ, Mark & staff, they did put wrong size tires on so I had to come back next day. They gave me a rental car & only thing I asked over & over to tighten a bolt under driver side frame never did. I wont use anyone else I appreciate what they do & very friendly. Ill be back.

Needed inspection...wipers and a tire. From time to garage, it took 1.5 hours to inspect, put on a tire and wipers. There were 2-3-4 guys on several occasions up front talking and joking around. That time could be put to helping in garage helping to get the tire on, inspection and wipers, trying to save your customer time, but you rather they sit in waiting room while I person works on the car and everyone else go up front and kill time.I will not be going back.

These guys seem to always do solid work. I brought one vehicle in once and they supplied me with an alignment sheet showing my vehicle was already well aligned even though my shop told me Id need an alignment, they did not charge me for this service as there was nothing to service. Second vehicle in for an alignment their printer wasnt working and they instead showed me a cell phone photo of the alignment display on the computer (hence the 1 star dock). Pricing was reasonable for alignments.

This is a very good place to take your car in for your car needs. They treat me right and I like the rocking chairs.

Likes: Service. The problem that I came in for (alignment) was fixed and I havent had a problem since. I am VERY weary of brining my car to any shop because every time I do something else is wrong when I leave. I have NO complaints on the service from Shattalon. Also, they took off some money because I decided to get an oil change with them as well. The people were also VERY professional and did not try to force me to buy anything else. I have a couple of other things wrong with my car that I knew about and they just told me that there were other things wrong and that was the end of it.Price. The price was very reasonable. Its not cheap by any means, but they did a great job and I was not overcharged at all.Dislikes: Time. I had an appointment at a specific time and I waited for about 40 min before they looked at my car. Then it was another hour and 30min before I was out of there. I dont think an alignment and an oil change should take that long.I would highly recommend Shattalon to others. Ive only been once but I will definitely go back.

Received quote for tires online, TJ called me with the quote and then emailed me. Have me multiple options. Set an appointment, they were ready for me when i got there and were fast. Waiting area is nice as well. Staff is very courtesy and informative.
