LOVE THIS PLACE! They always have a great attitude and do everything they can to give you the most through info about your car as possible PLUS! They send out a monthly flyer with random information,’deal, and even a chance to win a gift certificate for 25$ to whom ever submits the answer first. Their flyer is actually why I went there in the first place but I also wanted to find a legit auto place to take my car too that I could trust and i found them!

Brought my car in for a diagnostic. Car was ready for pick up by Friday afternoon but could not make it because I was working in Raleigh that day. They told me that they would be closed for the weekend and I could pick it up Monday. In that time 4 cars on the lot were broken into with valuables stolen from them. One of them being my vehicle leaving my back window shattered over the back seat. I went in to pick it up after getting a phone call from police on Monday morning and the employees and Owner were quite rude to me telling it was my fault because i wasn’t able to pick it up Friday. They tried to pretend nothing happened at first until I brought up what happened and they blamed me for my car being broken into (on their lot). In fact, they threatened to charge me with a vehicle storage fee for it being there over the weekend. Overall extremely unprofessional, rude, and hurtful. Less upset about my car being broken into while it was in their responsibility and more upset in how they handled the situation.

If you live in Winston-Salem and need a trusted mechanic, then look no further. My fiance and I travelled across the country for a temporary move to Winston-Salem. After arriving in WS, our vehicles transmission started acting up. Scott was very knowledgeable and gave us a couple options. Replacing the transmission would be very expensive, but he offered a fix that would be more cost effective. He completed the repair quickly, and under the quoted price - the car is running excellently! For the return trip, we needed new tires and a general tune up. Again, Scott and his team gave us a fair quote and completed the work under budget. He was also able to get us in with late notice and completed the necessary work very quickly. He never did any work without checking in with us first, and always came prepared with recommendations and options. Jackson Auto Worx is fair, professional, and friendly. If we return to Winston, I would absolutely continue using their very excellent and trustworthy service.

If you are looking for a good reputable mechanic, this is your one and only stop. I have a couple of project cars which I decided to keep and restomod, (2002 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am and a 2006 Pontiac GTO), and both Scott and Kevin are extremely familiar with both types and have been a great source of information concerning the direction I want to take in building these cars for enjoyable and reliable service. They have also worked on my beat up daily driver. Top notch shop, good quality and SUPER professional work! HIGHLY recommended!

My partner and I have used Jackson Auto for multiple needs over the past few years and have always been incredibly impressed with their services and overall value. Every interaction with the staff is friendly, courteous, and professional. They are honest and dont recommend work or expensive parts that are not strictly necessary, and they are always good to show/explain what they recommend, why, and what options are available to address it. Not only are their prices very reasonable, they are also very flexible with their services. Due to my long work days they let me drop off the night before, they call me to discuss my services and recommendations and let me pay over the phone, and then pick up after hours. If I can get there during business hours, they also shuttle me home since I live close by so I dont have to bother anyone to drive me back home. Overall the gold standard of an auto shop.

So happy I went to Jackson Auto Worx for my car services. The workers are incredibly nice and professional. I went for an oil change and NC inspection and everything was done super quick. I highly recommend this place for any car inspection/repair services.

They werent scared to tackle my unique suspension issues on my old modified (lifted) 4x4. Fixed my issues correctly THE FIRST TIME, quickly, and for a fair price. They came in just under their estimate on a very hard to estimate job. I later brought my wifes car in for an oil change late in the day, and in a hurry. They were able to squeeze me before closing and get me back on the road in no time. The service was very friendly and helpful, both times. Glad I found them!

Jackson’s is my go to for car repair or service. Their prices always beat the dealership and I never have been advised to do work that wasn’t needed. I have been a customer for at least 20 years and I continue to be pleased with the work and customer service.

I took my car to the guys at Jackson Auto Worx about a week ago for the first time after hearing great reviews, and I was very satisfied with their service. They were very diligent in running tests and getting to the bottom of why my battery wasnt working without charging me an arm and a leg. They were extremely thorough and transparent with me every step of the way. Im relived to have a local auto shop I can trust.

They were fixing my husbands truck, but I had to take a call from Jackson Auto as he was at work when they finished up the job. As a woman, who also wrenches on this truck and my own car a bit, it is RARE to find a garage that will talk to me like a normal human being and not be condescending. When Jackson called, they were kind, courteous, and treated me right. Just from one phone call, Im impressed! (The truck was fixed correctly, too, but hubs may leave a separate review on that!)

I have experienced a multitude of issues with my 2011, I purchased a brand new Ford Junction box, had it installed by a different mechanic and it worked for 2 weeks, I had to have it re-programmed to the new Junction box, it worked for a month; I was told I need a new starter, replaced starter, and purchased new battery, however my car continued to read doors, and trunk open, air would cut off, TPM light sensor kept reading malfunctioned, all this sensor would go off at once, my dash board looked like a Christmas tree all lit up. Needless to say, the car finally would not crank. I spoke with Scott, he told me to bring it on in and we would figure out whats really going on. He took his time, listen to my frustration and reassured me they would figure it out. Needless to say I am a satisfied customer now...my car is running very well, the price was extremely reasonable for everything he did to get to the root of the problem! Scott and his team are simply awesome!

Could not have made a better choice. Jackson Auto Worx knew what they were doing without hesitation on our 06 F150. We knew that this was the year that Ford decided to experiment on its trucks. Thankfully, Jackson Auto Worx has certified Ford mechanics. We had our car towed on Tuesday (right before close) and were able to pick it up on Friday. Kevin and Scott were extremely professional and had great customer service. We will continue to bring our car here because not only did they make us feel comfortable about the repairs, they would keep us updated multiple times a day. Our Tahoe broke down on I40 during the snow storm. We were on our way down to eastern NC. The folks at Jackson Auto Worx took care of us very quickly and got the vehicle back on the road. They kept us informed every step of the way about repairs that were required. We were treated very fair and the repairs were made for a fair price. These guys are honest hard working people. My wife unfortunately hit something with her car and her mirror was hanging off. She stopped by Jackson to get a quick opinion on the damage and see if the car was okay to drive. The gentleman at Jacksons was happy to help her out and even cut off her mirror that was dangling and made sure to secure the live wires. They also gave her three recommendations of body shops. I took my car to Jackson because my daughter had used them for work she needed to be done on her car and she was very happy with their work. It is SO difficult to find a really good auto repair shop thats honest, has fair prices, does excellent work, and provides you with a loaner car to make your life a little less difficult. On the two occasions I’ve used Jackson I’ve worked with nice smart guys who showed they understood what I needed and were great to work with. On my recent visit I was given an estimate of $300-400 and the work came in at $300. I’m sure that doesn’t always happen but it was great news in my case. And the work that was done was top notch.

I dont usually post reviews on here but my experience was so good I felt it was only fair. I had come into town to buy a Mini Cooper from a local dealer. I wanted a second unbiased opinion on the vehicle but had not made an appointment anywhere. I called and the guys at the shop were kind enough to make room for me to get my car looked at. Not only did they fit me in on short notice they checked that car soup to nuts and gave me a great deal and free hot cookies. I am so appreciative. I am now happily on the road with my new Mini. Jackson Auto Worx is my go to place to get my car serviced. They offer to work your car into their schedule immediately if youre in a bind and then deliver great work. One of the things I like most is that there is no such thing as a stupid-car-question. They take the time to help you understand what needs to be done, give you a fair deal and an accurate time estimate for when they can complete work on your car. They also take you to work or pick you up to help you out. Youre always greeted with a smile and you know your car will be fixed to their high standards.

The shop at Jackson Auto Worx is fast, friendly, and clean. Believe it or not, the cleanliness of a shop has a lot to do with what particulates get into your engine, transmission, etc. while your car is being serviced. Ive only seen a Caterpillar Dealership be as clean as this shop! Its amazing. I never get sold anything I dont need. Every time I am in there I think: That only cost me that much! They have a fast turnaround and communicate the entire time your vehicle is in the shop. I dont go anywhere else if I can help it!

I cannot say enough about how wonderful the guys at Jackson are! For instance, last week I took my car in to have the tires rotated and the head light changed. Not only did they do great work on what I brought the car in for they also let me know that something else was broken. I thought something was up but forgot to mention it. Luckily they caught it so now my engine wont fall out. :)

In from out of town when my alternator died. They got me taken care of quickly and honestly. Great folks.

This is the only place in the triad that I will take my cars to for repair. Im not saying they are the best as I havent been to every repar shop in the area, but Ive been to a number of them with mixed to poor results. These guys have always been accurate on their estimates, and Ive never had to bring my car back because something was done incorrectly. They will tell it to you like it is, but wont pressure you into doing more than you can afford to do. There are always a lot of cars in their lot, but none of them are abandoned with no tags. They are either waiting to be fixed, or waiting to be picked up. Theres a reason they stay so busy.

Their work almost killed me. In late 2015 my grandmother took her 85 dodge Ram here for I believe new tires and an oil change . I went with her to pickup the vehicle. I had been driving the truck regularly before then with no issues. As I turned right out of the parking lot and approached the upcoming stop light at about 35-40 miles per hour the brakes did not work. I pressed and pressed and barley got the vehicle to stop . The truck also had a really bad pull on the steering wheel . If I barley let go of the steering wheel the truck would begin to swing off the road. We quickly brought the truck back and explained the issue . They looked at the truck and couldnt find anything wrong . They suggested they might have over inflated the tires. When I left the truck still had a bad pull that would occur randomly. One night later that week the truck even spun out and did a 270 degree spin when approaching a stop light . I took it to Mock tire on robin hood road and they said that their were basically no front brake pads on it and that they were practically worn down . I dont know how the brakes went from being fine to dangerous between those visits, but the fact that professional mechanics could not detect that still boggles me to this day. I have never been back to this facility .

Since moving from Milwaukee 25 yrs ago, I have had several different experiences in the auto business in Winston Salem.Having owned a Porsche, a Volvo, and three Explorers I have had my share of ups and downs. Fortunately for me, my Explorers found a home at Jackson. To say service would be an understatement. To state, a feeling of old customer service where most of the Staff knows you by name, is par for the course at Jackson. I have NEVER had an issue with timing, quality, or conditions. They ARE my recommended place for American made vehicles.

Yep, they just take your money without fixing anything. Our AC was loosing refrigerant and we already knew where the problem was. Nonetheless, they charged $80 to find the leak, said something about adding a dye to see where the AC fluid was leaking from. Told us to come back next week. We did, they fortunately found the problem but said they couldnt fix it because they didnt have the part in stock. And then they charged us another $60.No work done, a total rip-off. But they were nice, I guess?

Went to get an oil change when i took my truck my truck wasnt leaking oil after the job was done it was leaking around the oil filter. I went to them to get it checked they said it was a seal. Cost would be around 50 to 60 i couple a weeks later i call to get the job done. An now there tell me it would be 250 to replace seal an oil change. This is just warn people about jackson auto worx. How shaddy they are an the work they do dont get fooled by those napa logos any place can put a sign on there business for show it takes a good business to produce quality an pride in there work
