First off I just wanted to say Karl has treated me with upmost respect and professionalism from the moment I contacted him to the last second I drove away from the dealership in my 2000 Lexus GS400! :) He was very prompt in responding with all the answers to my questions right from the morning putting everything aside for me. Very easy to communicate with and he secured everything quickly for me. :) I booked a flight as soon as I can come down to the dealership and was given a courtesy ride back from the airport. :) The car checked out as I was shown over text messaging. We had a good test drive around Wilmington and from there we handled some paperwork in only 20 minutes of time! Karl went above and beyond the entire time I was there always making sure I was comfortable and welcome. He even threw in a couple nice dealership t-shirts and a keychain for an extra token of appreciation! :) And even more so, he took some great photos of the car, myself, and the dealership as a memory to keep! Who else goes this far? Also he knew I had a long drive home and tossed in a bunch of drinks in my car and showed me where to stay in town overnight! Brought my 2016 Land Rover Discovery Sport here due to it not wanting to start after filling with gas. They replaced the DMTL pump, which had been replaced 70 days prior. When the service department called me to tell me it was the DMTL pump I asked did the mechanic look over the service records on the front seat? Because that pump was replaced, the lady assured me thats what the issue was. So $800 later I drive home an hour 20mins runs fine, goto fillup with gas and once again same issue does not want to start, special programs flashes on dash and it wont start. So I push the button and gas peddle it starts, still no check engine light. I go for a drive the next day, check engine light comes on. I called Land Rover Cape Fear and Im told they had left for the day someone would call me on Monday. I then call Euro Tech in Wilmington they are the ones who replaced the DMTL pump in February of 2021, they say bring it in on Monday. I get there on Monday it is throwing 3 codes P0442 same code as usual, and O2 banks 1 and 2. So Jacob says call Land Rover, I did they said bring it over. I did with the codes in hand. Derek says he has never heard of a vehicle like mine not starting after adding fuel, he drives it to gas station puts gas in and sure enough it wont start, he was able to get it started but no check engine light is on so he tells me without a check engine light on they cant fix the issue! What kind of service department are you running if you have to wait for a check engine light to come on? You literally drove it was faced with the issue and yet sorry we cant help!By far the worst vehicle purchase and no dealership follow through when it comes to service!
Head of maintenance counter older female was rude and was hard to talk too. Bathrooms could use a janitor. Waiting could use a dusting and wipe. No receptionist in showroom. Only good interaction was british guy.

This dealership leaves a lot to be desired. I wanted to service a land rover and was told that they dont service vehicles older than 10 years. Then the service manager recommended I speak with parts about buying them there. Once I finally got ahold of someone after 10 minutes on hold, they refused to sell parts.So I took my vehicle to another garage, who wanted business, and he called this dealership to order the parts and they wouldnt order the parts either. They started I had to bring the vehicle in for them to look at.Additionally, had appointment awhile ago and drove up from north myrtle only to be told I didnt have an appointment.Poorly ran dealership who only wants to service new vehicles. Bad business practice. Setting self up for non repeat customers.

Im happy to share my experience with this dealership. For the past 4 years we have used this dealership for yearly service, like oil changes, brakes, filters, etc. The staff has always been friendly. This year we made an appointment for 10 a.m. showed up at 9:30 a.m. we drove to this location from Myrtle Beach South Carolina. At 2 p.m. we went back to the service center to check on the vehicle(4 &1/2 hours for oil change)they informed me that no one had been able to get to it yet. We told the young lady we wanted our vehicle we were leaving she left and came back and said the vehicle will be ready in about 20 minutes. 22 minutes later our vehicle was ready we had a bill for $601 she thanked us and invited us to have a nice day. I dont think Ill be using these folks anymore. I did have a nice day after I left the dealership neither myself or my wife will use this dealership again, lesson learned :-)
This place has given me the best car service of any dealership that I have ever dealt with. Living in Myrtle Beach we have options of taking our land rovers to a variety of locations, and I have tried them all. The Cape Fear dealership is the place to go for getting your car taken care of. I was always curious about Range Rovers ever since I was a teen. I had a friend who had one back in 1988 and it made such a statement whenever I saw it on the road. I said to myself then that one day Im gonna have to experience that. Well that day is here and Karl at Cape Fear in Wilmington NC made the dream a reality! Like I told him, out of all my years, this was the BEST car buying experience Ive had. I love it!
So while visiting my mom I thought Id get the maintenance done since it was time on my Jaguar F-Pace. Arrived on time for my 1:00 appointment took the car no issue the gentleman who was attending to customer service checked me in and showed me the waiting area. Its about 1:10 now so sittinng waiting patiently in the waiting area. Its now 3:32 and Ive had to come up front to check and see whats taking so long as not one person has come to update me not make sure I wasnt waiting without service. Although this elderly couple joined me and I noticed one of the sales managers made sure they were asked if they were okay or had been taken care of while sitting next to me, but I wasnt noticed or asked if I had been helped. I went back up front and was told they would check on the status of my car in a minute, so I go outside to get some air and Derrick comes over and lets me know the status of my vehicle and also that I had a nail in one of my tires they were going to remove and to keep an eye on it should it begin to decrease in pressure. Hes the only one who helped me today. So needless to say next time if you want to be ignored for over 2 1/2 hours and be invisible then this is the Jaguar/Landrover dealership for you!! Ill wait next time and go back to Tyson Corner when I get back home. Customers keep dealerships in business they need to remember all customers should be valued.
Compliments to the entire staff at Land Rover of Cape Fear. I explained to Karl that I had no experience with Range Rovers, but was very interested in having one since I have always heard great things about them. I was allowed to drive a 2016 and was absolutely blown away with the quality and the ride. Needless to say, it is now in the garage. Well done Karl and thanks for your patience with me as a novice Range Rover purchaser!

Overall purchase was smooth with sales and finance for our 18 Disco. Matt Meakin was awesome. Have had rattle issues in rear sunroof area twice. Sent a video to assist in their repair. Was told by initial service advisor on second trip that they couldn’t replicate the problem. I think this is standard operating procedure... to claim they can’t find an issue, and hope you will accept their findings. Unfortunately that doesn’t sit well with me. Luckily, Derrick, the service manager took the lead and got issue handled.

I have been a loyal Land Rover owner since 1999. I bought my first one in Greensboro where I received excellent service. Was delighted when I moved to Wilmington to find many of the same personnel had also moved here.Service has always been superior.This year in Greensboro I had a unique situation where a leaking battery disabled my car and I was stranded on the freeway. After calling a wrecker to take me to the local Rover dealer I called Wilmington Rover for advice.Ryan called the dealer there and paved the way for a good and expedient service experience. Much to my surprise, Kevin called the next day to ask how it all went and could they do more to help.Enough said.

Coming from Raleigh to pick up my new Range Rover Sport, Jacob was prepared and the entire process of signing paperwork took 15 minutes. Vinny was fantastic during our Encore presentation. Despite the distance, they are always willing to work with me when my service is due, whether it is meeting me at a halfway spot with a loaner or coming all the way to my place of business. Not call was ever received as to what service would be performed on my Land Rover.Information on the work order, in comparison to my engine identification, was incorrect.A state inspection was due at the time of service, but was not completed.Service writer stated a text was sent referring to a service agreement. No text was ever received.There are no plans to return to this dealership for service. My experience with buying the Rover was excellent, but the service department is a disappointment.

The service department is top-notch. I recently some software issues (and simple tire rotation) and was very pleased at how well/fast they fixed my issue. Further, I couldnt have asked for a nicer service consultant.

Land Rover Cape Fear is a wonderful organization. They give great customer service. My car is serviced on-time, and I am provided with transportation when my car is in for service. Everyone is friendly and courteous and I have been a very satisfied customer for 12 years.
This particular service was quick and covered under warranty so it was all good. My only complaint is that because I bought my Discovery in Cary at the Landrover dealership the Wilmington dealership won’t offer a loaner car. It’s under warranty so I think I should be covered.

My experience would have been better if Tara at the front desk owned up to her mistake when ordering our car hitch which was almost a whole size bigger than what we were told. This resulted in us having to pay extra money to send back product we had placed an order for. When I explained what happened, the response was one of indifference which was disappointing to say the least.UPDATE: Recieved a phone call from the manager, later this afternoon, and he was very apologetic and explained to me that Tara had given me the 2 hitch dimensions after speaking to someone in the parts department. Unfortunately, the information was incorrect and resulted in our having a 1 1/4 hitch installed instead (noticed it when we got home and my husband measured it). Bottomline, the manager is sending us a check to cover the cost to ship our 2 bike rack back and receive the 1 1/4 rack needed. That my friends IS GOOD customer service!!!!! Appreciated the care and concern much more than the shipping compensation.

We are taking our Range Rover here the first time today. Having some issues since we picked up from another Land Rover dealer in Virginia. Our conversation with Ryan was a nice change. He offered for our vehicle to be towed if needed or if we needed a rental car.

From the first time I stepped in the service department I have been treated with the utmost care you can wish for. Owning a Range Rover is a luxury and Land Rover Cape Fear does everything to encompass the same luxuries in the service department. My 2012 Range Rover HSE Luxury Sport is a very special car for me as it was my sisters before she passed away in 2014. The service department has since thoroughly explained what the vehicle needs to be maintained for a long life. Going into the maintenance of the car can be quite a pinch on the bank account, however Land Rover Cape Fear makes every scheduled maintenance as easy as possible. The loaner cars provided are new and clean. The executive detail is great for the price - far surpassing the value compared to other detailers in town. Recently I had to purchase a new set of tires - I shopped around all over town and to my surprise the dealership had the best price, and knowing that the job would be handled properly was very comforting - much more so than entrusting any other mechanic to do the job as it should be done. As far as other services, I wouldnt go anywhere else -- even if the price was a bit better. Knowing that my baby is in the best hands is where I feel the most comfortable. Love the Land Rover Cape Fear staff. We first went to get a replacement remote programmed for my Range Rover Sport. We were treated better than we ever experienced at any other dealership by the parts and service staff. I joked to my wife that this service makes you want to buy a vehicle from them.We went back the following week to have my wifes Range Rover repaired that had two Service Recalls. They again treated us incredibly well, provided a no cost loaner which turned out to be needed overnight as one of the parts had not arrived.The next day they delivered our Range Rover and picked up the loaner vehicle. We live 1 1/2 hours away in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Didnt expect that.Now when I joked about buying a vehicle from them due to the treatment by all staff, we actually ended up treading in my wifes Range Rover and bought another newer pre-owned one and take delivery in a few days.We have purchased several new vehicles from dealerships over the years; Chevrolet, Buick, Ford, Dodge, BMW Porsche and Mercedes. By far, this Cape Fear Land Rover staff, from the parts sales staff, to the service advisor (Paul), sales (Karl) and finance (Ryan), they are by far way above any other dealership in terms of friendliness, knowledge and courtesy than all others.In my opinion, this is the ONLY place to buy your next Land Rover/Range Rover, new or pre-owned.

I purchased a 2020 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque from Land Rover Cape Fear on August 2, 2019. I had set up an appointment to drive an Evoque and a Velar. I walk on the lot and was met by a gentleman and I told him I had scheduled an appointment for 10 a.m. It turns out my appointment was with Wilmington, DE. So he found Jacob Moen to assist me. I never told him anything other than the two types of cars I wanted to test drive. He said, let me grab a few keys and Ill be right back. He returned and pulled up an Evoque that just happened to be the exact one I had viewed the day before and was interested in the color. I never told Jacob this, but I was really wondering how he chose the one I was interested in. I opened the door and saw the beautiful interior that was real close to the color of the second car I ever owned. I was immediately interested and once I drove it, I knew I was going to listen to the offer that Im sure was about to happen. We arrived back at the dealership and Jacob asked me if I wanted to drive the Velar and I said I wanted to work the numbers on the car I had just driven. I wanted to be able to use a credit card (that earns air miles) as payment for the loan. Jacob found a lender that will accept credit card payments. I was able to get the car I wanted and make the payments the way I wanted. There was NEVER any pressure applied to me to purchase the vehicle. It was as easy as it gets. I was told they were going to prep the car for delivery and it would take a short while. I went and got a bite to eat and when I returned Jacob sat with me in the car and explained all...and I mean ALL of the bells and whistles. Again, Ive never bought a car this easy...EVER!..I am now a fan of Land Rover, but even more a fan of Land Rover Cape Fear. I would highly recommend this dealer and its staff to anyone who is interested in a new ride. I got mine...you get yours!

During the time my wife and I were traveling from Maryland to North Carolina to look for a home, we had an issue with the car which was immediately resolved by the service department.
