Jason is awesome to work with!! Came a few months ago for an oil change and a few other things and he remembered me when I returned this time around. Keeps you up to date with everything going on and is very personable throughout the whole experience. As a female who knows zilch about vehicles he does a great job explaining everything that’s going on and in words that I can understand. I will continue to return and request Jason so long as he doesn’t get promoted.
After test driving lots of cars, jumping dealerships to dealerships. I stopped at Hendrick Toyota at Wilmington. I will say, Andy and Randy made the whole process super easy! They showed me a car right on my budget, everything I asked for! Nice, durable and economic with gas! They helped me and answered all my questions. Their customer service was outstanding A+. Paid $129 for them to take my car for 5 days. Tell me needed $1000 repair. When tried to order from Toyota they said it did not need that repair done. Then magically mechanic said car was fine no issues.(guess cars now magically fix themselves)..... Less than 1 mile from dealership car had same issues. Took video sent to them. Also thank God I check my fluids cause they gave my car back with no coolant in it. I topped it off before I took it to them. Left message for service manager to call me about all of this, 1 week later not 1 call back. They are clearly shady in service department. Had I not checked my fluids it could have caused major issues. Charges me for nothing but wasted time and lies from them.
I have been working with Casey Meadows for several months now and could not be happier with the service that she provides. Hendrick Toyota provided a great sales experience. The salesperson, Matthew Reed provided the highest level of services and took the time to explain the vehicle, show options available on the 3 Tacoma’s they had on the lot and explain the advantages of each. While they did not negotiate on the price and were pretty firm, I will say that is understandable. The lot only had a few of several popular models and because of supply issues it is definitely a seller’s market which I knew going in. That being said it was still a great experience. Matthew even came in on his day off on the day I took delivery. I told him that was not necessary but he insisted. He took personal ownership of the deal from the first phone call to the moment I drove away. I also would like to mention that Elias Choufani (Finance Manager) took the time to carefully explain each optional additional coverage and discussed each in a professional manner sharing the pros and cons of each with zero pressure to purchase anything. I will say that the 839.00 for all scheduled services included to 100k / unlimited years is worth it! Unlike other dealers that I have dealt with over the past 30 years I don’t feel cheated here and as such they have earned a customer. I would highly recommend this dealer and the salesperson and finance manager mentioned.

I had to take my car in due to a recall. Jason Underwood with the service dept is so great. He’s friendly, helpful and has an amazing personality. My car was going to take a good day to be fixed so he made sure I had a rental to drive. Jason is definitely, in my opinion, an asset to Toyota. The best Toyota staff that Ive met. The staff answered a lot of my questions that the other dealers could not and will give you solid advice on purchasing a vehicle, doing maintenance and will go out of their way to find answers if they cannot tell you on the spot. Maintenance on my 4Runner was the fastest and most efficient that I had ever experienced. The staff articulately briefed me on everything they looked at when inspecting my vehicle, pointed out all of the issues and provided reasonable solutions to remedy the issues. GREAT customer service.

I just bought a car and worked with Alex. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience or a better salesperson to work with. She was patient and never pushy yet still made sure I found a car I loved. The car I ultimately chose had a sticker that I asked if I could keep, however, the detailing team removed it. It wasn’t a big deal but she personally ordered a replacement on Amazon and had it delivered to my house. That was just above and beyond! If you are planning on buying a car at the Toyota dealership I would suggest asking for Alex! Also a shout out to Thomas who did our paperwork. After spending what seemed like forever looking at cars, he made the paperwork part go quick and easy. Great experience!
I went for the 10,000 mile ToyotaCare service and am very satisfied. Turnaround was less than an hour, and I can verify that the work was done—and done properly—unlike the dealership I used prior. Thank you, Hendrick Toyota Wilmington! I know where to vote with my wallet from now on.
Max was AMAZING! Originally I was skeptical of coming in to even talk to anyone due to past experiences with other car companies laughing at me ( TO MY FACE) about my credit. As soon I got there he greeted me with a smile and was super nice and listened to my situation and he immediately started working. When I doubted myself, he didn’t and he got me approved in MINUTES!! I was in and out of there in less than THREE HOURS! I walked out with a 2018 Chevy Malibu! Thank you a million and I will definitely be referring EVERYONE to you!
I tried to order a part this summer for my 2016 Tundra, it was unavailable and was told to call back in the fall. Called back and part was available. I made it clear to the staff what model truck I had and confirmed the part was compatible with my year and model. I had to be persistent to get the service department to get me a quote on installation, finally the parts department had to get it for me because the service department never called back. Scheduled an appointment to have the part installed only to be called later that day to be told it was not compatible with my model and year. Complete waste of time. Unfortunately this was the third issue Ive run into with this dealer ship beginning with the purchase of the vehicle. Three strikes and Hendrick Toyota of Wilmington is out.Gave two stars because the staff that I could actually work with and speak to were polite, helpful and understanding. Buyer beware. Ill stick with my independent shop for everything but warranty work from now on.Frustrated Tundra owner
I was disappointed with Hendrick Toyota in my most recent service. I wanted to take part in the October tire special. I called mid month and had trouble finding a service date to match my schedule. The schedule agent I spoke to agreed that as long as I paid for the tires in Oct, the service could be done Nov 6. I was scheduled for that date. When I called parts department a week before sale ended, I was told they had to be purchased and mounted by end of Oct. I made an appointment under stress knowing I would not be in town Oct 30.I needed my car over the weekend so I took a day off work. Arranged to bring my car in early Friday at 7:00 am. Other cars came in. They were slammed but because I left my car not stayed and waited the 2.5 hour service was not completed until 4:00 pm. I was not able to have my car for my trip. This was very stressful and disappointing on an already stressful weekend.
This was my first car purchase from a dealership and Kim and Daisy were fantastic. The process was seamless and I never had a question go unanswered. I will highly recommend purchasing a vehicle at this location with these great agents.
Rebecca at Hendricks was so great to work with! She went above and beyond to find the vehicle we wanted, with all of our must have features. She was extremely clear with processes and progress, and not pushy at all. Honestly probably the most pleasurable experience Ive had at a dealership. Rebecca was so great to work with and I cannot recommend her enough!
Sales department is excellent, maybe a little too excellent, as they are very good at getting cars off the lot. The service department however, leaves a lot to be desired. They repeatedly refuse to fix warranty issues, either by denying they exist, pretending they can’t find the issue, simply not working on the issue, or insisting that “it’s working as designed.” Don’t be fooled by the large number of 5 star reviews. Up until a few years ago, they offered free car washes if you left a good review. HARD PASS.

Wed had vans for decades, but not a Toyota. We read all the reviews and decided that a Sienna would be our best choice. When we met our salesman, Brian, we were immediately impressed by his knowledge and experience. Brian is a great communicator, and explained all facets of the buying experience to us as we went along towards our purchase. Despite the extremely short supply of vehicles, Brian was able to locate just what we wanted while it was still in the distribution pipeline. Brian turned us over to Eric for closing the details of financing. Eric, too, was superb in his knowledge and assistance in finalizing our purchase. Then Brian spent over an hour with us in our new vehicle to demonstrate and explain the many, many wonderful features of the Sienna. In summary, our experience was more than outstanding!

The Service Department is phenomenal. Probably the best Ive ever dealt with. Every advisor that has helped me has been honest & straight forward. Work has always been completed on time. I have no complaints with the Service Department at all.

Small warranty issue and the service dept made sure it was handled completely. Never felt that it was too small, and was treated like one of their oldest customers. This is our families 4th Toyota, and 3rd from Hendrick Toyota. Will definitely be staying with them!

Upon my arrival to the Hendricks Toyota dealership in Wilmington, NC last week, I was greeted warmly by a sales consultant, Max Whitaker. He immediately confirmed my appointment and the car I had my eyes on was in the showroom. Max was not only friendly but was very professional and knowledgeable. The Assistant Service Advisor met me in the service lane for my scheduled appointment and kept me up to date during the entire service process. I normally don’t wait, but had to this time and the service was completed in the estimated time. The service area for the customers was clean, quiet, comfortable and provided free coffee service. I took my vehicle into service. I planned to do a drop off since my appt was a few hours away. Alyssa was amazing! While waiting for the shuttle to come back, Alyssa told me they already had my car on the lift and would be done soon. Alyssa was great at communicating what was going on and gave me a heads up my state inspection was almost up. It was nice to have such positive interactions so early in the morning. I highly recommend!!
A week ago I was desperate for a resolution to solve my car issue. My car kept running hot. I was constantly putting water in. The reservoir continue to be empty. There was no obvious leakage of where fluid was going. A very trusted mechanic by many suggested I take it to a Toyota dealership. He said they can pinpoint the problem. Reluctantly I came in Aug 7th a week ago. I was told fluid was leaking into the engine. The sales/service guy (Bill) said when coolant was put in radiator it leaked into the engine. He proceeds to say now the car wont crank. I called my mechanic and told him. My mechanic asked if the car was running hot when I arrived. I informed him it was not. He said so they had to run it til it got hot. If then they put coolant in it wouldnt crank because it was overheated. As I listen to the sales/service guy he was preparing to suggest I need a motor. I stopped him and informed him I would have it towed. Praise God for my mechanic by Monday I was driving again 🙌. Now what I hate the most is 😡 I had to borrow the 130.00 for the diagnostic test. Only thing I know is Karma is real. All the people that God had in place to assist me with this ordeal has calmed my disappointment and anger with your money hungry establishment.
I had a pleasant experience when buying my truck through Toyota Wilmington. All the staff created an inviting and positive atmosphere. I worked with Chad in sales and Thomas in finance and was able to make a fair and honest deal! They made the process go by really quick and would highly recommend seeing them for your next vehicle.

The Salesman was Great. The detail department was horrible. Vehicle felt like sandpaper. They washed the vehicle and the paint still was very rough. Took it home and hand washed it myself still bad. I had thought it had been wrecked. So I paid to get a car fax on the vehicle. Did not show it had been wrecked. Went to auto zone and paid close to 50.00 for detail items. Took me 6 hrs and the next day to repeat the process for me to get it right. Be aware when buying a vehicle.

My wife purchased a Camry from Hendrick Toyota, which included window tint that had been installed prior to her purchase. The tint in the rear window started to separate. I took it in and was told they didn’t have any documentation on the warranty for the tint and that it would be $260.00 for the rear glass only. Fortunately, my wife had saved the warranty documentation, which indicated the tint was covered by the warranty. I waited for three hours and no one had gotten to the car. I made another appointment to return the car. My wife had to go to the office, so she dropped it off and she got a ride on the shuttle. If you purchase a car there, be sure to get all documents and keep them in a safe place so nothing gets lost. Had she not gotten that warranty document and kept it, Hendrick Toyota would have wanted to charge that $260.00 to re-tint the back window.
