This is the best one in town. The employees are real nice and helpful. Especially Kim and Alex. They are always ready to help and always are friendly and nice. Glad they continue to work there because their customer service skills are amazing. There are other good workers heather Jeff justin. They always are nice and helpful with anything I need. I tried cashing work checks with photo ID while in my work uniform and the teller wasnt convinced they were my checks. I have to wait until my job verifies to her that they are mine. However I wont be going back because the service was terrible and the lady had an attitude anyway. A little common sense goes a long way. I hope everyone goes through this same verification.

This place did not have the decency to contact me to let me know that my items were late and when I go in to pick up my TV and PlayStation, I get told that they were already pulled and sold off and that they tell me that there is nothing that they could do about it. Now Im out of a Playstation and TV.

I VISITED HARRY N Bway location,I was unable to find what I was searching for,but the staff was very helpful and attentive,usually staff in such places seem burned out,but not on this day,10 19 2020, my experience was pleasant,lets face it,the kind of people the are forced to deal with are usually down on their luck,panning their worldly possessions in a time of great need,or trying to manage a crisis,or feed an addiction or satisfy a lost and dont ususally smile or have the greatest of spirits,we all come across a person or 2 like that every week,if not daily!,What a task they are challenged with hours on end 5_6 days a week,they really need our empathy,being there on a Friday eve,stone! I worked with Bruce who was the owner and he made sure I was taken care of. His staff was very friendly, responsive, and helpful. They showed me around the place and helped me find exactly what I was looking for with other suggestions as well. I would definitely recommend going to this place, it was a great experience overall.

Me and my husband run our own business remodeling homes for a living. We do business with A-OK on a regular basis. Today we were needing a loan on one of our very expensive machines and the lady was rude and lied right to me and my husband‘s face. I would suggest never going to this A-OK on West Street ever. I am appalled by how we were treated and how I was treated by the owner after calling to file a complaint. I suggest the Broadway store they are very friendly, kind and they care about their customers. The A-OK on Broadway and Oliver are owned by a different owner and I suggest going to either of those locations.

Bad experience, they charged me twice the interest even though I was on time ...

People that work here are very greedy and rude. I came to get my stuff out of pawn and was just a couple of minutes late because I was coming from work and they let one person in but wouldnt let me in. I will never do business with these people again. I would not take your stuff here. Also as I was waiting to pawn my stuff there was a person that was getting their stuff back from pawn and they said that their stuff was broken and it wasnt broken when they pawned it theyre just care less. If I were you I would not do any business here. Now I have to wait another day to get my stuff out of pawn and I lose out on work because of them.

A friend and I, while on our yearly pawn shop tour, stopped at this A-OK location late morning of 2/17/18. Were were greeted when we entered the store and staff asked use if we needed help several times. They seemed very friendly and helpful. I noticed the store was large, clean and organized. I have no information regarding the buying experience as I did not find anything I wanted to purchase.We will be returning next time we go on this adventure.

I’ve always got anxiety in the past when going into pawnshops due to past experiences with unfriendly judge mental employees behind the counter. But this place changed my perspective completely!! Out of all the pawnshops I’ve ever visited in my life this one by a long shot has them ALL beat in my opinion. The customer service is absolutely out of the park amazing, it really feels like the employees truly care about their customers. This place has really helped me get through some tough times over the past year and always worked with me to ensure I was able to get my merchandise back. They will go above and beyond to make you a good deal or no matter if your buying or obtaining a loan. Darin, The chief of the place is a really awesome guy as well as the rest of crew here. Very reasonable prices and friendly staff.They always work with their customers. Amber is very helpful when you want to buy jewelry. She helped me find a beautiful wedding ring set and helped me get a wonderful price on it.Why shop anywhere else when you can get exactly what your looking for at a very reasonable price????Brian and Darren are very helpful as well.We always get a good deal with them.I would say all their employees are friendly and nice to their customers.

Good place to go shopping for just about anything from a chainsaw to a diamond ring. Very friendly employees and knowledgeable. You can also cash your check here and if you dont have a job and need some money look around your house and bring in your old jewelry or tools you dont need any more and pawn or sale them either way you cant go wrong with.A OK

They have most of the things that I myself look for in a tool store and also have home appliances from cooking ware to stereo equipment to sound reproduction and processing devices ie, keyboards guitars, sound mixing boards drums/rythim machines and much more. They have a lot of video gaming systems aswell as laptop computers and (I phones) and accessories! Not to mention out door and yard/lawn equipment too.

I used to have a friend who worked there so it wasnt so bad, but one day I had called to see if they put pawns on Shoprider scooters. She said Yes, but you wont get much for it cause winters coming.... I wasnt worried about how much I would get just yet, and it was brand new almost... So I rode it about a mile or two there to test it... I barely made it to their parking lot when my battery was totally out. When I went in they said they didnt take them at all and were super rude. So I plugged it in outside to charge it enough to take home and plugged my phone in to do the same to tell my girlfriend they went back on their word, when a employee came out and tried to tell me i couldnt power the scooter there (and this thing cant be pushed)... So i had to call a friend to come pick me up and I wasted all that time. Sure, it was my bad for riding it, not knowing if it would be worth it... But I called first and was lied to, then they saw my situation and pretty much told me to start walking without being able to move my scooter or charge my phone to call a ride...

I took a $5,000 Snap On Scanner and keys for it in to pawn. The young man was very rude and thought I did not know what it was worth. He offered me $270 and tried to tell me they could buy these on line for $500 all day long. I only wanted $600 which he declined. This is the first time I ever attempted to pawn anything and will be my last. Further more I went and looked it up on Ebay and an older used model with less accessories sells for $1,800 to $2,200. Remember you are only as good as your weakest link and that employee and the older man behind the counter who listened in and said nothing when he did this are weak links. Noticed they are adding on to their business (new construction) and pretty obvious they make money on others backs. All the pr work that the owner does for charities on tv is why I tried them. My attitude was ruined in one visit. PS I never have reviewed any business negatively like this.

This is the worst AOK in Wichita. I have bought over 6 games consoles with Bryan at 21st and Amidon and always makes a fair price. While this store wont move a penny and has the worst customer service Ive seen. DO not go here to buy or sell go to the beautiful AOK on 21st and Amidon.

Called for payday loan, they said they need a summary of my checking account for a full month to see how I spent my money, I told them I just didnt get that they needed to see all my transactions, she was rude and ask if I was hiding something! Seriously!!!

I went in with my cousin trying to sell a bass guitar and amp. Walkin and didnt get treated very good. Had a vibe like we wernt welcome there. We go up to desk and say we want to see this bass and amp. The bass he got from guitar center brand new for $300 and has had it for about a month. Just wanted to stick with rhythem guitar instead of bass. So he said he was looking for around $150. The lady just looked at it and said no i will only do $50 at best she knows nothing about guitar or anything, didnt play it, didnt look it up or anything. Then as we left we said maybe next time i can talk to someone who knows something about guitars then the lady gave us the weirdest, most evil old witch laugh. Needless to say will never go to an A-Ok pawnshop again. Very poor service

This place accepts stolen items. I found my TV there and I called the police after talking to them, before the police arrived they got rid of my tv. Even though I had the paper work for it to prove it was mine. They are just like the thieves they receive from. If you have Items stolen from your house look there. But call the law and wait for them before you let them know its yours or they will remove it and you will never see it again.

Awful customer service. I called and needed assistance on a quote for an Item I wanted to sell. The individual on the phone was short and unhelpful. At the end of the call I was hung up on without notice. I will not be doing business with A-OK PERIOD.
