Though the mouse that I purchased originally did not work I took it back and got a second mouse of the same kind, which also did not work with my computer. But I received excellent service and no questions asked return on the first mouse, and I left the second mouse at the store . I did not want to deal with it anymore.

Aizik helped me with my MacBook Pro that I had screws I believed were stripped beyond repair. He swiftly solved the problem free of charge. I cannot recommend Ribbit enough!!!!!

Although by himself and answering phones and waiting on other walk-in customers, Kyle was very pleasant, professional and patient with my low-tech questions. Ordered a charger the associate said it was 14.00 dollars. Got a call a day later that they didn’t order it the day I paid for it or even wanted to said it would be an extra 50 dollars and if I didn’t like it to come pick up my money. Horrible customer service will never use them again. Run don’t waste your time with these sums bags .

During the pandemic, stock of computer parts has been hit or miss. Best Buy was sold out of DDR4 ram, and recommended Ribbit as an alternative. I figured Id give it a shot to support a local business. The prices were higher than Id expected, and on shopping around found a cheaper option after purchase. Naturally I wanted a refund, returned and explained my reasons to the clerk. He advised us to return next-day as the manager could then process our refund, as an anti test bench use return policy. Id read the return policy on the receipt and, as the ram was unopened, was expecting a full refund tomorrow. We returned with the receipt and pristine-in-package hardware (the ram was in a small plastic case with perforated TAMPER EVIDENT seal intact) and were told by the same worker as yesterday that there was a 20% restocking fee. I questioned that the item was pristine and unopened and could simply be re-shelved, but was told that was standard for certain items. After waiting a day, and driving an hour twice to visit Ribbit I can safely say I felt cheated but willing to pay to continue my day. Would I have received a full refund on the same day? The employees were kind and helpful in other ways, but I cannot recommend buying hardware from Ribbit. I wont speak for their repair and other services.

They get 1 star for being more knowledgeable about computers than me. Downsides: 1) They do not sell any NEW (comes in the original box) computers, only refurbished. I did not find this out until I had to replace the computer they ran diagnostics on. 2) While they were up front about the cost of diagnostics and backing up/transferring data, they were NOT up front about the length of time to back up the data and transfer to a new computer. After calling to check on the back up, they said it would take 3 days. After calling to see how long the transfer would take, they said 3 days. This means I must be without a computer for a week. Not good in the middle of a pandemic, when so many people are working from home via the internet and their computer. 3) This type of service is not convenient for people who live and work 45-60 minutes away and have to make 3-4 trips to Wichita in a week and a half just to have a working computer. Especially, in the midst of extra-cold, extra-snowy weather. Bottom line: I will go elsewhere next time I have computer issues.

Ive been to Ribbit a couple of times and always find them to be helpful and honest. This time I took in an unresponsive phone in hopes that they could get it to start and wipe it. The guy who helped me got the phone to start and handed it to me and told me that I was good to go. He wouldnt accept payment.I appreciate this sort of courtesy and professionalism. Ill look to Ribbit when I need to make a computer purchase or have a repair done. I can trust these guys!

Had a battery go bad in my laptop and tried installing by myself and had some trouble. Took it in and Jonah got it figured out in no time. I’m the furthest from a computer guy so I’m glad to have a quick place to drop by if I need anything.

Id bought a great refurbished laptop some years ago from Ribbit. Still going great with a few tweaks here and there. Took it to them yesterday because a MS Windows update was not functioning. The two gentlemen diagnosed the issue, spent about 15 minutes doing so, and showed me a fix that I could do at home..which worked. They wouldnt accept any payment for the time spent since we just showed you how to do it. Have always been impressed with their professionalism and honesty and they dont disappoint. My next laptop is coming from...you got it..Ribbit!

My mothers iPad Air 2 was acting up, I thought it was the battery, so I looked up Apple repair here in Wichita. I found Ribbit listed, and went to their website. I found the page for iPad Air 2 repairs. It listed Battery repair and the price shown was $89.99 (see attached screenshot, if I can get it to upload). I thought that was fair, since while Apple only charges $99 for guaranteed original parts, this being Wichita with no Apple store, Id have to ship it off to Apple for the repair.I called them the next day to ask if they used original Apple batteries and confirm that I could just walk in and drop it off at the West location. The guy on the phone said As far as I know, they are Apple batteries, so that was a little strange. At the end of the call, I decided to just verify the price on the website of $89.99. He said No, its $179.99. I replied that he must be talking about something else (hed accidentally mentioned screen replacement during our conversation, I thought maybe he had looked up that price) and he said no, according to the chart he was looking at the price was $179.I was stunned, but I wasnt in front of a computer to confirm the price I thought I had seen, so I said OK and hung up. Then I got on my computer and went back to their website. Sure enough, I hadnt imagined it, the price on the website was $89.99. So, I thought Surely theres been some mixup and called back. I got a different guy on the phone this time, and gave him a quick rundown of the situation. His response was Well, we cant actually update the prices on our website right now, were having some trouble with the site. The price is $179.What does that even mean? How can you not be able to update the prices *on your own website*? How can a technology company be locked out of their own website? Would you trust a technology company thats locked out of their own website? Or would you suspect a bait-and-switch scheme?I asked him if they were getting a lot of takers at that price, seeing as Apple only charges $99 for the same service. His response was that they have plenty of customers, and that there are other places in town charging even more, and that if you ship something to Apple it might take 2-3 weeks. I said OK and hung up, Im not going to be baited and switched for *double* the price to avoid a few extra days delay on the repairs.The TL;DR: Make sure you get your estimate in writing from these people before agreeing to repairs, because the price I was quoted on the phone was *double* the price they had listed on their website! I have no idea when I would have found that out, had I not specifically asked before wasting a trip over there to drop it off based on their published web prices.EDIT: Just got off a chat with Apple. It turns out that the Best Buys here in town are Apple Authorized repair centers. Apple was able to set me up with an appointment at Best Buy for this Sunday to have the battery replaced for the $99 price on their website. So, if you are taking your Apple products to Ribbit for repairs, youre voluntarily getting screwed, there are authorized repair centers right here in town.

My laptops speaker, keyboard, & touchpad stopped working completely so we brought it in & they fixed everything completely free of charge. Staff was extremely knowledgeable & accommodating. Would recommend to anyone with computer issues.

I bought a rebuild computer and wasted a week trying to get the machine to work had to take it back twice. Then I gave up on the rebuild machine. Went back and talked to them and they are trying to make me exchange it for another computer . I make my living from these computers now I am late on my rent facing eviction. Because of This. I just fixed my old computer it needed a new screen. I did it myself for I found another new screen for $62.00 from Amazon. All you do is plug the new one in after you remove the bad screen. They quoted $300.00 to fix it and talked me into buying a rebuild computer that didnt work with their word it had been completely rebuilt. All I expect is them to refund my money. I dont want to trust another rebuilt computer. They are making me dispute the transaction with my bank . Now Im late paying my bills because they wont refund your money. Dont trust Ribbit computer Co.

Today I noticed they are trying to sell used parts as if they are new. Still selling original listing price on 3 year old hardware. Their services are still decent though.

Ask them to recover my e-mail I lost after an update with Google. Young man said Id have to call Google. I took laptop to Best Buy, just passed it on my way home. Took the man less than 10 minutes to get the job done at no charge.

I took my computer in because I feared something was on it that shouldnt be on it. They looked it over and corrected the problem on the spot. My family and I have been working with Ribbit since they stated up the company and we have not be disappointed yet.

Was horrible attitude and told me to go call Apple so set in my car out front talking to Apple. Then I needed WiFi and discovered not on it and they had it inside and wouldn’t put me on or give me password for theirs. I wasted 3 hrs and even then the guy wouldn’t come out of back room to help with the yahoo Mail password. Not good for helping me.

I dont know what Id do without them; and, with all the scams going on today, especially online, I have learned to rely on Ribbits judgment and expertise to protect me from phishing, malware and other threats. (Note: I have used Ribbit at most of their locations, collectively, for over 10 years and trust Ribbit for their honesty and judgment implicitly for all my computer needs.)

I was just hung up on twice by “JD” apparently he’s a manager but when I asked to speak with him he just says hello, didn’t really want to help with my concern then when I asked for his other employees name he asks me what’s going on? I tell him I just want their names he says I’m mad about pricing his employee at this has told me 2 different prices for one phone, and when asks for the young mans name the manager simply hung up on me ! When I called back a second time to ask for a number to corporate or something he says I can come up to the store and get it and hung up again!

They went above and beyond to help me get my computer fixed. I felt they were very honest. They could have very easily sold me a computer but were honest and helped me fix the one I had that I was happy with before the hard drive failed. So fixed the old one for a fraction of the cost of a new one.

I took my Macbook Pro in not knowing if it needed service, or if I needed service. Explained my question/problems to store manager Aizik. He was both personable and honest, telling me when he did not know something and did not take advantage of my non-techieness by BSing me. Turns out my problems were self-inflicted. He answered my questions and got me squared away. When I asked how much I owed him, he said nothing. ~~ Good replacement shop for the fake Apple store over on Maize that closed a while ago.

I previously took it to Living Sound for the same assistance, I paid for the same service twice at Living Sound and Ribbit rationalized that it was a quick and easy fix- fixed it at no charge. I will be happy to give my future computer needs to Ribbit to assist me with. We just had RBS, Ribbit Business Solutions out to the company as well and will most likely use them for our company IT requirements.

This review is specifically for the North Rock location. Ive dealt Ribbit for years. Theyve been responsible for building my PCs for years. Last year, I had a situation with a build. I was not happy. By happenstance I ended up going to Rock Road. The staff immediately spotted several issues and concerns on just sight alone. Everyone I dealt with there was not only experience and knowledgeable but they were passionate about their work. I didnt just get warranty work, I had a group of people that wanted to do right by me and product Ribbit made for me. If I were to recommend anyone right now, it would be the North Rock location.

I first came to Ribbit to get help with a new iPhone that I was having trouble getting set up. They were terrific. Solved my issues without charge. So, I went back and bought a MacBook Pro for my granddaughter. The serviceman added RAM memory while I waited. My granddaughter LOVES her new computer and if she needs anything more, we will come back to Ribbit.

When I decided to fix my phone here I got told it would be done within 4 hours. When I went to pick it up I was told another week. I went in a week later exactly and was told 2 more days. I called 3 days later and am now being told that it will be another week. I now have had no cell phone for 2 and a half weeks.... and they werent even willing to offer a small discount for their lack of management or for customer service.

When I am at my I.T. wits end, I know I can hand it off to Ribbits and get the problem fixed right, and in a timely manner. If not, they have a great selection of refurbished laptops at great prices, with great warranties. They are the best I.T. option in Wichita!

Went in to find parts to build an i7 computer. They didnt have the parts so i talked to someone about building one for me, he took my info down in his notebook. 4 months later i get an email from the guy saying that he overlooked my information and if i still needed the computer built to give him a call. 3 and 3/4 months earlier i went on to Newegg and got the parts, built the computer, done.

I highly recommend Ribbit and technician Aizik for their excellent and honest service. My laptop wouldn’t power up so I took it into Ribbit Computers on Rock Road. I don’t know a lot about computers so I didn’t know what to expect. I was immediately helped by Aizik who was able to power up the computer and run a diagnostic test. Aizik explained what he was doing step-by-step. Luckily, he found that my hard drive was safe and the battery was still good, but for some reason my battery was not charging as fast as it should. Instead of immediately suggesting costly repairs, Aizik gave me a couple of steps to try at home first. I’m currently in the midst of trying those steps, but it if I need a repair I am definitely returning to Aizik and Ribbit Computers.

I was looking for a new monitor since mine stopped working, and it was the only place I could find a matte monitor; all of the screens at other stores were glossy and thus hard to see in my office. I went into this location about four months ago, but it was rather far from my home so I found they had a location downtown, and after that I went there.
