Very impressed with Brian, the service department, and shuttle team.I recently moved to Wichita and am typically skeptical on who I take my vehicle to for service and repairs. Hatchett was recommended and met my expectations. Their shuttle service is super appreciated to get back to work and pick up my truck. Brian, did a great job of helping me out. They offer free tire rotation & wash your vehicle, huge win!The only negative I have is that the salespeople did not greet or speak to anyone waiting in the lobby. Seems like a big miss for building relationships with current customers.Overall 5/5 I’ll have my truck serviced there again and possibly upgrade soon!Thanks, Hatchett Buick GMC.

This was my second visit to the service department as the first visit was professional.The second visit I asked an employee if they could order a key and transmitter and it was suggested that I could call and give my last eight VIN. I returned on Monday and I was informed that an order would be made except that I would need to bring my Registration.No one has presented a logical reason as to why I as a minority needed to bring my Registration. I must have made a curious expression when told to bring or show my registration because the second employee indicated that registrations are usually in the glove box.I have a permanent Tennessee veteran disability license plate so people cannot tell if I registered but as I stated that it is permanent not similar to Kansas.I was told that the police and dealers are working together in case a vehicle is stolen then the dealer can check the register but no cop in four states have stopped me.I was told that every dealer will ask a customer who request for the transmitter to show their registration to prove that the vehicle is theirs except I have a key and I just wanted and not needed a key to enter and start my vehicle so the excuses are not logical.Finally after I gave my registration to the employee he looked at it then turned away stating that he needed copy without asking me if it was okay.I do not plan on ever coming back to a dealer or mechanic shop that has treated me worse than the cops as a cop is required to ask for my license to identify myself, then my registration must match. A thief would not ask for a second key. A thief would not go to a dealer to get an oil change.A policy should be writing.

I love Hatchett Buick! Everyone at Hatchett Buick is so friendly and so helpful. This is a dealership where the customer comes first. I just bought my second new car from Hatchett and got a great deal! The salesman made sure I got the best price for my trade-in and the best price on the car I bought. I have bought many cars in my life and have never felt as confident about a purchase as I have with Hatchett. Other dealerships need to take lessons from Hatchett Buick on customer service!!! I cant say enough about the service I received from Tyree and his team. My wifes Envision had a dead battery. I was able to get it jump started and dropped it off with Tyree. He was able to work me, get my battery changed, perform an oil change and gave it a once over without an appointment. I appreciate getting text alerts to keep me informed. Took my vehicle in to them & asked for them to look at something specific 3 TIMES for them to literally ignore my request n try to find something else wrong instead. FINALLY got tired of taking it in, then “fixing stuff” yet STILL having the issue I had when I took it in the 1st time, decided that I was gonna look for myself if what I thought was the issue was or not… N WHAT DO U KNOW… the issue I have been addressing and asking them to look at for literally the last year, WAS EXACTLY THE PROBLEM! I asked them to check my tires because I thought I had a broken belt… there is a bulge in all 4 tires and 1 for sure if not 2 that have broken belts in them. None of them roll on the flat ground without a wobble AT ALL! This last time my vehicle was just there n I expressed my frustration about the issue n what I found, the mechanic said, oh the tires aren’t that bad, I’ve seen worse! Ur good for now! R U KIDDING ME!? HUGE SAFETY ISSUE!!! N they didn’t want to fix the dust boot or do parts warranty for the strut they just did 3/4 months ago that won’t stay up at all! Tried to tell me that they broke down a fully assembled strut from gmc and transferred the boots from my old struts first off… I CALL BS! On top of that they JUST DID THEM, n weren’t trying to remedy the situation at all! Plus the timing on it or variable valve is having issues, it has thrown code before and I asked them to check it then, but didn’t check that, instead replaced some other BS! N of course didn’t fix the issue! Still has same symptoms but without code so claim they can’t do anything! I may be a female, but I work on a lot of vehicles & am far from an idiot… I got the extended warranty on this vehicle because I didn’t want to work on my own vehicle, or have issues… I wanted it to be someone else’s problem… SO MUCH FOR THAT!I will NEVER recommend ANYONE to them! They don’t listen, they come up with fake things wrong to file with warranty companies… n I KNOW THAT FOR A FACT! It has happened more than once now. The most recent thing we proved was literally no diff than the other so they removed the warranty work! We shouldn’t have to go to those measures to check people! Highly disappointed and frustrated with their service dept!Unless u have deep pockets and a death wish… don’t go here!!!

I am leaving a 4 star review because Carlos the mechanic, who fixed the problem not the one who caused it, and Parker the Service Associate who helped me were great but the problem I had was a mechanic who I wont name might need a little more situational awareness now dont get me wrong he probably knows more about cars than I do but double checking something when you are done with the job doesnt just apply to mechanics food for thought I hope the person who worked on my car first knows I am not mad just upset and hoping he starts double checking his work and being a little more cognizant. Found out the Maxima that I purchased here certified pre-owned in mid 2018 was in an undisclosed accident. It took an accident to reveal that prior accident. They refused to do anything as I was late to discover the hidden truth. Integrity. Its a lost quality in todays world. Would I buy a car here now? No. Would I recommend this dealership, now rightfully a stealership, no.

Greeted and car immediately taken in for the oil change. They readily agreed to check the tire pressures and make sure I had plenty of windshield washer fluid. The wait time was about what they told me to expect and the car was in great shape, including having been washed. The tire pressures were appropriate and the oil life setting had been changed back to 100%. Could not have asked for more.

Mike was amazing i called from another dealership he said dont buy a car till u come look at the one i have. I wanted a specific car and he had one for me. I actually left to buy one from the other dealership and ended up not getting a call or anything went back to mike the next day with a pre approval from my bank and he put me in the car i wanted even lowered the price by 230 dollars to get it within my pre aprroval amount. In and out less than 1 hr. Walked out with the car i wanted and 6 thousand dollars cheaper than the one i waisted 6 hrs on the day before. I loved everyone that helped us. Took my Buick to the first oil change since purchasing. Everyone was friendly and service is top notch. My phone was nearly dead and having the charging station was great! Oil change was quick! My visit was to identify an engine light alert, particularly, since the 2012 Verano was just purchase for a granddaughter. After giving the agent my knowledge of what was happening it was determined that further diagnostic was required. Eventual result was rather extensive and violated the term of acquisition, which gave rise to a decision to seek recovery from the point of purchase.

We took in to have Transmission, Power Steering, Brake, Coolant that all needing to be flushed only, which was recomenned on a previous service. All but Coolant was done do to a found water pump leak. And Highside fitting. At a price of $714.96 for pump, $316.17 for fitting. With just 215 miles driven since last service, and no sign of any leaking or over heating registered on dash gage. I think this amount is a bit high, and we will be getting second opinon. All other service were good. Thank you

Horrible service department. Bought a used Denali that was in the shop 5 times in a year. Twice for 3 weeks due to the same oil leak a year apart. First time it took so long because they didnt have the right tool. Same oil leak this time. Took it out November 9. Went to get it...now there is a coolant leak and it isnt ready. Went to get it the next day. Leaked oil all over my garage. The new part they just put on was cracked. Took another week to fix. Holiday ruined. Was told they Couldnt make anybody work overtime to fix my vehicle. Grounded me for the Thanksgiving Holiday as they also wouldnt allow a loaner vehicle to leave the state. Now supposed to deliver it to me today, November 27th, at 3:00pm. A mere 18 days later. I have a 5 hour trip ahead of me. And its 3:30pm and still not here. Terrible. Wouldnt have them repair my little red wagon.

I am very disappointed to say that I have had nothing but a bad experience since I bought my 2017 truck from this dealership a month ago. The buying experience was okay until it came down to getting what I was promised. I was told I would get all weather floor mats and a full tank of gas. Not much to ask for when buying a $45k pickup. When I went out to take it home, there were regular floor mats and a half tank of gas. I had to complain to get floor mats I was promised and then only got mats for the backseat. And was told “well youll have to order those we can’t do that”. After I was told they could. They did fill up my gas tank after I reminded them. The night I drove my truck home I noticed the climate control buttons werent lighting up. I called that night and was told Id have to bring it back in and theyd look at it. A week after I bought the truck, my brakes were acting up and onstar sent me a message they needed serviced. The headliner of my truck was also rattling whenever going down a bumpy road. And my tailgate wouldnt lower without catching and scratching on the side. When I called, Walter said youll have to make an appointment with service And then hung up on me. He didnt help me make an appointment or transfer me to service. For a place that advertises they do 160 pt inspections, I sure had a lot of things go wrong in the first month of ownership. When I did take my vehicle in to service, the first thing I was told was unfortunately we cant wash your truck because its too dirty. I live in the country on a dirt road and it wasnt like I had been mudding in it, just driving it like normal. They said the dirt on it would clog their drain and I would have to take it to get it powerwashed first. Then I had to wait an hour for them to get me a vehicle to drive home while they had my truck for a few days (this should have been ready and planned as I had made my appointment 5 days prior). Basically the feeling I got was once they sell you a vehicle, they dont want to hear from you again unless its to buy another vehicle. I shouldnt have had issues in the first month of owning this vehicle in the first place, and then got such poor service. I will not be purchasing another vehicle from them in the future.

I would have given zero stars but it wasnt an option. After spending this past Saturday 11-28-2020 at your car lot and due to the Thanksgiving holiday and having to wait on the banks to reopen Monday. I was under the impression that the vehicle was being held for my sale. Long story short I think its very bad business to ask me to do things to purchase the vehicles and then once its done you sell the car right from underneath me. Very poor business. This is the 1st time that I have been to your car lot and let me just say this is not a very good way to have me return let alone refer anyone. Communication would have been great. I went there to get a standard oil change and asked them to check the brake fluid. When they finished, the agent told me they had topped off the brake fluid to make it full.The brake light and warning buzzer was still going off when I left there.I took my GMC Acadia to another shop and they found the brake fluid to be very low. It had never been topped off. I cant trust Hatchett to do what they do......Go there at your own risk....

Our one year old GMC Acadia wouldn’t start. Dead battery. We called Hatchett and had no appointment and they said to bring it on in. Dishonest. The sales staff at Hatchett are misleading and dishonest.I’m an out of state buyer from Denver, CO. I called to inquire about a 2017 GMC Sierra Denali and spoke with Mike Hauschild. I told him I was from out of state, saw the photos of the vehicle, however you can only see so much from photos; you cant see small minor damage. I asked him to walk around the vehicle with me on the phone and thoroughly inspect the truck for anything at all no matter size because I cant see them from the photos. I trusted his word. He told me there’s a rock chip on the hood and a scuff on the tailgate that could polish off, other than that he said the truck looked perfect.We discussed my trade over the phone which he said they could offer $3,500. I looked it up on Kelly Blue Book and selected the correct options and selected the vehicle condition as good. If youre not familiar with KBB, the vehicles are rated fair, good, very good, and excellent. KBB states good category as Has some repairable cosmetic defects and is free of major mechanical problems. KBB said the trade in range is between $3,800-5,700 with middle being $4,700. My vehicle has no mechanical issues, has 1 scratch on the driver door, and very light hail on the roof.The GMC I’m interested in is listed on cars and the Hatchett website with 32k miles, but the vehicle actually has 34k miles. I bring this up to Mike and told him according to KBB this brings the truck value down $500. He said to me, if it is a matter of $500, he is sure they can make a deal. I agree to drive from Denver to Wichita to trade in my vehicle and buy the GMC, which is over a 7 hour drive and over 500 miles. Again, I am trusting Mikes word on behalf of the Hatchett dealership.Prior to leaving, I see an advertisement on the Hatchett website for up to $1,000 over KBB trade in value. I sign up for the coupon, got a call informing me they would email the info and to present it to the sales manager for the coupon to be applied.I get to Hatchett and the truck is parked out front. I walk up and within 30 seconds, I see the chip and scratch Mike informed me of, as well as chips and scratches on each bedside, a dent on the roof, a dent on the left bedside, a chip on the fender, and the upper tailgate and right bedside molding are scuffed and shredded. Lie #1, the condition of the vehicle as was described on the phone. At one point on the phone prior to me driving to Kansas, Mike bragged to me of having over 30 years of experience in car sales. If that is accurate, he knows what buyers are looking for in the condition of the vehicle and flat ignored it and lied to me to get me to make the trip.We go inside to discuss the sale and numbers and they tell me they’ll only offer me the $3,500 for the trade on my car and won’t budge on the sale of their GMC. The sales manager said to me the hail damage on the roof is about $500-$600 of damage. I ask about the trade in coupon for up to $1000 over KBB value and the sales manager told me because of the hail damage they won’t offer any more. If you take the middle ground trade value of $4,700, subtract the $600 of hail damage, thats still $600 under fair trade value. Lie #2, they told me with the online coupon they’ll offer more on trade value, and the manager flat ignored it and said he cant do anything.I told them Id take the $3,500 for the trade, but they need to come down on the price of the truck. They said they wouldn’t budge a dollar. Lie #3. I was told before making the drive, or even the commitment, that if it was a matter $500 they’d be able to make a deal.I was lied to 3 times, the Hatchett sales staff assumed if I made over a 7 hour drive, there is no way Id leave without the truck, so they can just take advantage of me. I liked the truck and wanted it, but never would I give that much money to a company who thinks they can lie and walk all over their customers as they did.

I came in for a tire repair and as I was being checked in, I started to fall. My service advisor, Tyree Johnson, quickly held on to me and prevented me from falling. He then assisted me to the waiting area, making sure I did not fall. My tire was fixed quickly and Tyree came and walked me to the car. Excellent is not a high enough rating for the assistance I received. I have been a customer of Hatchett Buick GMC for about two years and have always received excellent service.

I bought 2 vehicles in this place with Walter, a very nice seller, I have nothing bad to say about that. But his service department is very bad, my GMC Sierra truck took it more than 4 times for the same problem and they could not fix it, this last time One day after picking it up the engine service light turned on, I live more than 90 miles from there, 3 days later I saw my yukon for a low tire was exactly what I told the lady for some reason that I did not know thay changed the oil without my consent, my vehicle showed 49% oil life cost me 60 dollars for that error and when I asked for an explanation they only said that it was done in the computer. very bad service
