Our vehicle broke down 25 minutes away from the dealership as we were driving it in to trade in on a new vehicle. Garin had a tow truck there within an hour and they paid to have it towed in. Had waters there for my family when they arrived and were very sympathetic to the situation. Gave us the keys to our new vehicle and told us they will take care of it from here, have a great trip! They even gave us a gift card to dinner. They made what could have been a horrible day a great experience! Thank you again!

I purchased a 2020 Range Rover Evoque March 3. Mid April I get calls that they need updated copy of insurance as the document originally provided has since expired (been over 30 days at this point). We resend the insurance info. Now they’re attempting to tell us they can’t complete the registration process and are trying to force us to do it for them. What they didn’t mention is that after 30 days a 5% penalty is assessed and after 60 days a 10% penalty is assessed. Instead of dealing with the result of lazy employees who took entirely too long to even start processing the registration paperwork, they’d rather make us pay the penalty on their behalf without mentioning it to us. I had to find out myself as I found it odd this was happening almost two months later after we’ve already started paying. BUYERS BEWARE ESPECIALLY OUT OF STATE AS THEY WILL SCREW YOU OVER IN ATTEMPTS TO SAVE THEIR OWN HIDE. CHECK THEIR FB REVIEWS AND YOU’LL SEE THEY’VE OBVIOUSLY GONE DOWNHILL SINCE COVID
Today I drove off the lot at Land Rover Wichita a pre-owned Toyota RAV4. I was extremely satisfied with the car I chose and with my sales associate, Lucia. I liked how comfortable and easy she made my experience. I hate car shopping and I typically dont trust used car sales people.Lucia walked me through my options, we went on a little test drive (I loved the car right off the bat), and went back to the dealership to work out the numbers. She showed me all the options I had available to me, leaving it up to me to decide if those were things I wanted. I appreciated that she wasnt high pressuring me into anything. All decisions were up to me.The staff is friendly, the place is clean and the coffee is really good (I had 5 cups of coffee).I would do business with Lucia and the Land Rover of Wichita Dealership again.
Great location and amazing staff!I bought a certified pre-owned 2016 Range Rover Sport there on 31 October 2019. I started communicating with a kind gentleman named Matt Burr for a few weeks leading to the purchase. He helped me find the vehicle I wanted and replied to all my emails quite promptly. He was sick when I came to make my purchase and my sales associate was Garin Egerton and he was wonderful. He kept me informed at every step and did a great job. I love my new purchase and I’m thankful for the service I received.

Update: Walsers response below from Feb. 1 underscores their dishonesty by highlighting their Upfront Price policy that, as I and others can attest to, means they will raise their prices during the sales process but will never lower them due to market conditions. STAY AWAY!Lots of fake reviews on here. These folks are dishonest at best.I cant speak for the service or parts departments, but the buying process goes like this: their claim to fame is firm pricing from day one, with no negotiating. They stick to their guns on this; if you call them out on above market pricing (above KBB for used cars, or above MSRP for new cars) theyll shrug -- all the way up through the various levels of sales managers -- stating pricing is set by Upper Management and theres nothing they can do.Your first call or visit will be pleasant; theyll happily discuss their inventory, their no-negotiating sales process, and maybe even get you a cup of coffee on the house. They might return your phone calls once or twice. When you go to follow up. Then they lose patience; do you want the car or not? Theres a lot of interest in these rare vehicles, you know.They keep their inventories small. Were a small town operation, youll be told. Every time they get an inquiry about a car, theyll raise the price a few hundred dollars. Oh yeah, the longer the cars sit there, Management tries to cover their costs by raising the price. Still interested? This ones rare! theyll quip. Eventually they get a buyer, because their inventory tends to be unique. Dont fall for this -- theyre competing against large national sellers like dealerships in bigger cities who will almost always get what you want, for thousands less, and still be willing to sell you a car without this BS, even if you arent local to them (shoutouts to KC, Naperville, and North Atlanta LR dealerships for this!).We fell for some unique inventory theyve had twice now; both times, while awaiting photos of the cars to become available because they were supposedly still waiting to receive them, the prices were raised on the website by about $1500. We called back to ask what was up. Dennis nervously explained, Yes, Management did raise the price. Better hurry before they do it again!The icing on the cake: if you want to put a hold on a car, say while you await financing, they require a *non-refundable* deposit. What? Another family in the store at the same time as us were chewing out the sales manager because they had put a non-refundable deposit down, and their car was sold out from under them while awaiting financing the *dealership itself* was arranging. (It was easy to overhear this conversation because of the shouting match going on!)That was enough to walk away.As other reviews on here say, drive a few hours to KC, or OKC, or call competitive national dealerships who will be happy to sell and ship you a car. Save yourself from being ripped off, and who knows what else with these folks.This is the kind of dealership that gives the process of buying a car such a bad rep!

Good customer care
I went in for an oil change and Alignment and asked for any recalls to be taken care of. The alignment and oil change were done with no issues. However, the one recall that they did was on the forward alert system which was not done properly. Once I picked up the car and drove it out of the dealership, I saw a warning message “forward alert not available”. I returned a week or so later and made an appointment to have them take a look at the issue. Dropped off the car the next day and a few hour later, the service manager (John Muir) calls me and says my car has 60 different codes and that it’s because my car has a rebuilt title. I responded by saying that when I drove into Walser Land Rover to have my oil change and alignment done, that warning message was not there. It was after they performed the recall on the forward alert system that I started seeing that message. John’s response to me was that they are not going to touch my vehicle anymore and that I should come pick it up. The conversation ended with John hanging up the phone on me. He went as far as exchanging words with me when I went in to pick up my car. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The dealer screws up your vehicle and blames you for it.John went as far as using the information I provided to Walser to look me up on social media. Very unprofessional.

Matthew was patient and had the answers almost immediately. He even remembered my wife and me several weeks after we just stopped by to look around. I have purchased several cars from Walser and have really never had a negative experience. Plan on exchanging my wifes evoque in a couple of months for a new range rover. THE WORST SERVICE!!! I recently took my Range Rover in for service and had the most awful experience of my life. They had my car for almost 4 weeks to do almost 5 hours of work. I was lied too, took advantage of, never received one phone call with any updates. I had to call myself to try and keep in the loop of what was going on. They overcharged me, claiming to give me a discount, but then adding on to the labor fees. I was charged 160 dollars for a 4 min computer scan. I was told they were waiting for the warranty department to get back in touch with them when in fact they were never called for an entire week. I was never given an itemized estimate because they wanted the ability to charge more if they didn’t make enough commission in the service department. My paint is scratched now on the hood, my front windshield rattles now. My warranty never received any information for all repairs recommend. I would not recommend anyone to go there, and they have lost my business and that of my extended family. We have taken multiple cars to there but no longer. I will be contacting the better business bureau and Land Rover directly.
BEWARE OF SERVICE FRAUD!Hands down the absolute worst service I have ever had from the service dept John. My car alerted me it needed new brake pads at 25,000 mi. I was surprised since most was highway miles. I received this text message:Walser Jaguar Land Rover Wichita: Hello Paula,This is John Here is the information on the brakes:Front brakes are at 3mm: Recommend replacement.. Parts and Labour will be $1424.81Rear brakes are at 4mm: Recommend replacement.Parts and Labour will be $1204.38The technician is also recommending the engine air filters due to condition. We have not replaced them .Parts and Labour will be $202.36I have everything in stock..Just let me know...He followed up with a phone call catching me in the middle of meeting with people. I was shocked to learn that it would take $3,000 to replace my break pads. I couldnt go without breaks, so what choice did I have.WARNING: John made sure he complimented me to no end and ask questions right and left about my profession as he had me sign. When I arrived home and went over the bill, (they use to go over it before Id sing, but different tactic now), they replaced my ROTORS!!! WHAT! We never once discussed replacing Rotors at $500 each. My husband called the next morning and they said that they didnt have them. OK, I picked up the car at 6PM and the next morning they were gone at 8AM. Hmmm. They told him to come back the next day to pick them up and they could locate them. He picked them up and had another certified mechanic look at them and simply asked if they needed replaced. The answer was No, however the alert on the dash may not go off due to Range Rovers automatic sensors. He said they easily could go another 25,000 miles not knowing anything about our situation with Walser.I sent 3 emails to Keith the General Manager and have not heard back at all. Ask to meet with him. This is the first time I have ever submitted a Google review. Next is contacting the BBB. I was horribly mislead and taken advantage of. Im in my 50s and have never had someone try to pull a wool over my eye like John did.Im cancelling my Defender that I have on order. So if anyone wants one. Just dont get your car serviced there. Matt was great in service and amazing in sales. they need Matt to train the Service dept.Car came back with tons of soaps spots from washing a barely wiping it down. It went in cleaner than it came out.
I am continually surprise by Derek responsiveness to my telephoning calls back to me. That is not the norm in most companies even though it is probably Walsers business model. It really comes down to him who has taken a personal interest in not just his job, but in his customers well being which points back to the true value of the person.To me, Its obvious that he knows Land Rovers like some people know their family pet. He has an eye for beauty that never looses sight of the rugged horsepower that is the heart of Land Rover’s origins. Derek has a knack with the ability to read people and relate to their situation.I appreciate the relationship forged in sincerity and must commend both both Derek and his sales manager Josh Reeds input into each detail of my Range Rover Sport everywhere from the interior components, to choice in paint colors.Purchasing a Land Rover is a big deal. It’s a life changer. It’s a beautiful and readily turns heads. Riding in a vehicle will never be the same again.Going anywhere in my Range Rover is like going to an invitational event, complemented by the Meridian audio system is concert crystal clear. I may not be on the roads of Prague, but the adventure still the same, comes to me with each ride.John Martin
Found the vehicle I wanted online, flew in from Denver, they waited 30 minutes after close because we were delayed by weather. Dennis did a great job of taking care of us and the vehicle was as described in the ad. Couldnt have been happier with the transaction.
Went to the dealership and was searching for the car because I was told it was available and to come on up and check it out. I make the trip up there and the vehicle wasn’t even there. Turns out, it has been on a test drive for a few hours, so I was told I would be messaged later when they closed to let me know if it was sold. Was never contacted. I called first thing the next day at 9am since I was a motivated buyer and was told I’d be contacted at 11am to update me. I was never contacted at or near 11. I had to contact them and they finally told me a couple hours later that the test driver passed and wanted more time to think it over and that I should come up and check it out in an hour or so since it’ll be back and available for me to move on it. So now I make another trip up there and the vehicle still isn’t there 3 HOURS LATER even though I was told it would be back within the hour. So I wait and wait and it finally shows up. When I go to grab the salesmen to finally move forward in the process, another salesman puts a couple in it immediately and they drive off the lot and eventually buy it even though I’d been waiting for over a day just to test drive it, made multiple trips up there and spent hours on the lot waiting and never even got to.Also don’t buy the “no commission sales staff” bit. I had multiple salesmen messaging me and when one found that out he said “if that guy calls ya just tell him to screw off haha.”The cherry on top was the price actually increasing overnight. Not sure if they did that because they knew they had a couple people interested in the vehicle or what. I’ve heard of prices decreasing as vehicles stay on the lot longer than they’d wish, but never “coincidentally “ increasing.Finally, the vehicle is still listed on their website, Facebook marketplace and other websites days after it has been sold. Perhaps if things were more organized and there was a system in place to make communication between multiple dealerships under the same automotive group better, these issues would not happen.
Extremely professional and accommodating. I’ve never had a better vehicle purchase experience. Matt and Derrick literally handled everything perfectly. My wife and I called about a Rover Sport on the website from OKC at 7pm. By 9pm the vehicle was purchased online and we picked it up in Wichita the next day at 11:00am. Walser helped me make my wife very happy for her birthday. I will always go to Walser for my luxury vehicle needs. I wish they would buy the OKC Rover dealership so we could have the Walser experience right at home.

Still Waiting............We’ve been at the dealership for over 1.5 hours waiting for our car to get an oil change and our tires rotated. We watched though the service window and nobody was touching the car for 30 min. There is only three cars in the service center and there were four mechanics standing there on their computers for the majority of the time.God only knows how long we are going to waste our day here.Wish us luck.............

I think he was able to really gain rapport with us from the start. The purchase didnt take very long, and even with it being late on a Saturday, Austin stayed after hours to make sure we were completely satisfied and informed about all the capabilities and functions of the vehicle. We really like that we can have our car looking great everyday because we can take it in and have them wash it for free at our convenience. We will definitely be buying there again!

Steve ended up having the perfect match for me an the buying process was done over email and text and couldn’t have been easier. Having to deal with only one person for sales and finance makes things so much easier. It should be like this at all dealerships as well as have no hassle pricing. Makes life easy. However, I stopped in the Walser group in Wichita (Land Rover, Jaguar, BMW) and had an incredible experience with their team. I worked with an associate named Derek who was incredibly helpful to me. He was very knowledgeable about all the cars we looked into. They were genuinely for you getting into a good situation and they go at your pace. It was nice to have an honest conversation about each car I had interest in (they werent trying to be spin everything to make you buy), and a honest conversation about finances. They were willing to do whatever to put you in a good situation and a good vehicle. I was very happy with my experience with this business and hopefully will do business here again in the future; the Walser group did business with a lot of integrity and I appreciate that a ton!

I recently purchased a Jaguar XE from this dealership. Besides loving the car, the staff was very friendly and helpful. In particular Derik Paris handled all the paperwork required for the purchase and was very friendly and professional. I still keep in touch with him when I take my car in for free! car washes. Not sure how long the car washes are free for, but it a nice perk among others. They have a nice waiting room with free drinks while you wait. Overall, great experience so far and I would recommend this dealership if you are interested in the true luxury that Land Rover, Jaguar, and Porche offer. Just remember, no negotiating, which was fine by me, as I feel a received a great price.

Prices are high yes, but if you own one you should be able to fix one. Every time I have gone in here with my baby, they are simply amazing.

Derek went‘above and beyond’ with us, and he honestly made this the most pleasant, fun and hassle-free auto buying experience we’ve ever had. To his great credit, he even stayed late for us on 2 separate occasions (one, on New Year’s Eve, no less... and the other was a Saturday night!)... as we looked, and then when we purchased, respectively. He never rushed us, nor displayed anything other than his great, professional attitude, as did the manager(s) and other crew members whom stayed also to help finish the deal and prepare our beautiful, new Disco!My only complaint is that it went too quickly... I really enjoyed conversing with Derek and the amenities of the aforementioned facilities.Walser has a ‘home run’ on its hands in their approach toward the auto purchasing process... it’s all about relationship building, ultimate knowledge in their products... while allowing the brands / models to ‘speak for themselves’.
