Ivan was great to work with and kept me updated on what time he would arrive as well as any issues he found while servicing my bike. His mobile shop was well stocked and had all the tools and supplies needed. He even took a look at my son’s bike and was able to do some repairs on it as well. I highly recommend Prarie Bike!

Super easy to schedule and get bikes tuned up. Very responsive over text. They dropped off the bikes when I wasn’t home and coordinated it with me so I could close garage remotely after they dropped off. Even sent picture so I would know they made it. Very detailed on what they did. Didn’t even charge me for something I asked for that I didn’t end up needing. Will use again next year and will recommend to others.

Following a very positive first experience, Prairie Bike will be my “go-to” solutions for all of my future bike maintenance needs. Ivan was responsive to my needs and handled all aspects of the tune up/repair requirements on my carbon frame Specialized Stumpjumper HT. Pick up and delivery was prompt and I especially appreciated how Ivan kept me apprised of every step of the repair process including parts delivery and completion ETA information. Prices were reasonable while work quality was high. I really appreciated the convenience of at home pick up/return. When my bike was returned Ivan spent time fine tuning bike fit…something that was quite helpful.

Excellent help, came in with a bike pump that my kids couldn’t use easily, they helped show us how it worked and told us it was usable just needed to get used to it. They did not push to buy a new one helped us learn. Ha but I did buy a new pump anyway, it is much nicer and works easy. Thank you

Love this bike shop. I have been going to them 13 years and cannot find any better service. They dont look at you like they are better than you like some others in town. They are great people to get to know, and it is always nice to just go in there and just catch up and talk to them. I have bought 5 bikes from them and they were always fitted just perfect, and set up to ride like a charm. They all want to help you there not look at you like you are bothering them from making another sale to someone else. BEST BIKE SHOP IN TOWN PERIOD......

Most personable and friendly bicycle shop in town. They did a great job converting my bike to single speed. They are the antithesis of Bicycle X-change.

Great bike shop that has been in Wichita for many years. I remember shopping at a location they had on the east side of Wichita in the early 1990s. Nice and knowledgeable staff that are simply passionate about bike riding. Pretty decent prices. A lot of these bike shops have super fancy, carbon frames and the like for over $1k to $3k. Im looking for simple recreation for my family so good quality, durable bikes at a lower price point are important to me. Continental Cyclery has some nice entry level bikes that serve this purpose.

Im an avid cyclist and have visited all of the bike shops in the area. Continental is by far my favorite. Nathan and Ben are always welcoming and the shop has a friendly atmosphere. They are passionate and professional, always ready to provide the very best service. I own a number of bikes including a light & fast road bike, a long distance touring & trekking bike, a pair of dutch recumbents and a few vintage and antique bikes. From custom wheel builds to parts and service, Continental is my go-to shop in central Kansas. If I had 3 thumbs theyd all be pointing up.

So Im a little biased as the son of the owner, but I used to work there and I have to say my dad was always honest with customers about everything. We always provided great free followup service to bicycles (6 months was what it used to be). We never overcharged for any repairs and often did extra things to get the bike going for free. Nathan also makes sure you leave with your bike in safe condition, and enjoyable to ride, as best he possibly can. I cannot speak highly enough about purchasing from here. You will be happy!

Nathan’s knowledge and expertise were essential in fixing my bike. After receiving a new Mongoose Dolomite in a box from Arkansas, the chain was catching while coasting flinging around my feet. Thinking this was just a derailleur issue, I tried adjusting, without experience, low/ high limit screws, and a couple more back there to no avail. I became very frustrated thinking this was a manufacturer defect necessitating having to rebox and return it to the source. Without a vehicle, how was I supposed to get that box to a mailing facility? Instead, with the chain banging around and all the gears out of synch, I limped down the street to Continental Cyclery. Nathan explained it was probably a bad rear sprocket. Which it turned out to be. For about $70, he was able to replace it, and reset the derailleur to a perfect condition. It made for a joyful day!

Store moved from West Street. I dont know where they moved to but store was empty. No signage of new location. I walked in the snow to buy a new lock for my bike.

Whether you want to fix up your old bike or buy a new one, go see Nathan Jung at Continental Cyclery. After a year of daily fitness riding, my trusty old Trek 820 had a broken pedal and was skipping gears. Nathan took a look and told me up front that the cost of the needed repairs were going to approach half the cost of a new bike. He expertly fitted me with a great new Specialized Crosstrail, but I decided to have him upgrade and repair my Trek. With new sprockets, hubs, pedals and chain it rides and shifts better than new.
