Will never patronize this business again! From squeezing my 2 year olds hand because she touched an item to making rude comments, i cant even be angry because i know how these ppl really feel about blacks! Why spend my hard earned money where Im not even liked. Only a fool would continue to shop at these beauty supply stores.

I called to get hours of operation. To ask until what time they were open and he made it seem like im stupid by asking him. He stated they were already open.... I didnt ask you that so pay attention.Rude!

I feel like there was some sneaky stuff going on with the owner. Played nice but really untrustworthy. I never see anyone here so I decided to stop by and give it a shot. You’re better off at walmart. His prices have a 50% markup! It’s honestly ridiculous. Save your time and money sis. Also, if you’re desperate use cash so your card won’t “come up missing”!

He is the only one that remembers me and he is very nice my mother use to go there and by stuff for me when I was younger. Him looking for people who steal is not his intentions he has had his share with chasing down and stopping shop lifters he never calls the police at first but he does try to give the person who has stolen from him chance a chance to pay or pay a small amount and take the item. He opens when “NO” one else will and he will take your calls and have it ready for you even in this chaos, Remember folks everyone have to make a living be nice and courteous to people and they will to you!

I called from way out of town knowing I’d be there a little after closing and he said he was willing to wait, but once I got there he was very rude and made me feel unwelcome. If he was unhappy waiting he should have just said no. I didn’t even get time to look around and bought just some hair real quick like I needed and told my friend we needed to come back when we had more time in which the owner replied “No you don’t come back, you lied about how long it took to get here and I don’t like that...” I’m not from Wichita and told him the time on my GPS... over all very rude guy with a nice selection. But prolly won’t come back.

He’s always been nice, helpful, and professional every time i’ve visited. store is big, clean, easy to find things. i do have to say i’m a light skin mixed girl. maybe my experience was better due to being light or not looking black. read in a few older reviews they believed there was some racial profiling and that’s upsetting if that’s going on

Love this place. Wish they had flyers with deals or sales available. But still a great place for hair products and hair.

I called 30 minutes before they close to ask some questions about their products, and the guy told me that they were closing soon and to call/come in tomorrow... strikes me as an unprofessional thing to say, especially since I’m a 5 minute drive away and would have been out of there before they closed. That will be my one and only interaction with this place.

After I called to check on their hours, they waited for me to arrive and make my purchase.

Hours are incorrect actually closes at 7p.

Its a basic spot. But it has more than other options in the neighborhood.

My son patronized here often until today. Mr. Lee did not like that my son was mobile in the store and he could not watch him while helping a lady at the wig counter so he asked him to come back. My son had picked up a red brush and put it back in the plastic bin, but because Mr. Lee did not see him put it back, When my son came to the counter to pay for his items he started asking for the red brush. My son told him he put it back but he said I didnt see you. THIS IS RACIAL PROFILING!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE FOR THIS REASON AND THE FACT HIS PRICES ARE TOO HIGH!!!

Always friendly. Hours change monthly they need to update this or get a website. Aisles work too always walking in circles here but the cashier seems to know where everything is like some hair savant

I went to many different stores looking for a specific type of hair and this was the only place that had it.Thisbplace was organized so everything was easy to find.

Inconsistent- I called to inquire of specific products (specific brand, length, color) and price point; confirmed they had the products and told one product was $3.99, the other $6.99. However when I had someone to go pick it up, one product wasn’t exact product, the other was double the price. No accommodations were made to honor the phone quoted prices no apology given. Customers shouldn’t feel their being lied to, or that the information isn’t face value enough to pass on to someone else within 30min time frame, nor let alone that customers business isn’t valued enough to check to be sure the products requested is what they actually carry or have on hand. Then, when I called back 2-3 hours later to find out what happened, whether it was miscommunication or what, I was told “if you don’t want it, just bring it back. Thank you, have a good day.” No apology, or even coming to an understanding. I’ve been a loyal customer for quite sometime, as the atmosphere is great w/gospel music and typically I enjoy getting products there instead of nearby competitors. A simple apology, not negate the issue or act like it doesn’t matter would/could be a better outcome. But i’m concerned at this point that it may not be worth my time, fuel or business.
