Brought in my brand new 2021 LT Trail Boss to have them install a Borla ATAK Crate Muffler (please note they do not carry Borlas, so I brought one in ordered off Amazon). I let them know it would be a 2-step process....first install the muffler and call me to listen....if it was not loud enough I would have them remove the resonators.....no problem.....and I had them remove the resonators......labor and pipe was $150.......some guys will spend $2K on a Borla system......with Kevins American Muffler.....it was $400 (counting the Borla).

Very unprofessional, the man in the glasses is extremely rude and cursed at me several times for me having a dirty truck. Horrible service and had to pull my truck back inside after I found two holes in the welds. Employee seemed nice but man in glasses was not. Do not recommend for anybody.

Someone referred this shop to me and I called every place in town that I can find a number to. This shop quoted me the lowest, got me in quickly, finished faster than they estimated, and I paid exactly what I was quoted. The lady up front was nice. No complaints at all. This is my new favorite muffler shop.

They did a custom exhaust install on my ‘13 Elantra Coupe with muffler, resonator, and tips I supplied. The welds are beautifully done as is the fitment if the exhaust. I’d highly recommend them to all my friends.

Needed catalytic converters replaced on my Volvo XC60. Dealership wanted $7500 for parts alone, American Muffler Shop did it all for under $2,000 and provided a 2 year warranty. Took less than 1.5 days and they were very nice. Thank you!

Although the job was finished efficiently and in a timely manner, as a car enthusiast I’m upset with the quality and how my car was handled.I got home to find a crack on my side skirt from the car lift about 8 inches long.I went back to the shop and the mechanic claims to not remember doing it, there’s no other possible explanation for the damage to my side skirt. I was met with blank faces and no intention of making things right.I would not recommend to family or friends.

What an outstanding place this is. I took my Mustang in to have a Flowmaster muffler put on and the tail pipe replaced. They quoted me slightly more than another place i checked but the other place was clear on the west side, so I figured since Kevins American Muffler is right down the street Ill go there.I dropped the car off around 330, or 345 in the afternoon, got a call around 4:30 that the car was done. I couldnt believe it. I know I wasnt asking for anything too extensive, but WOW. Same day service? Thats incredible! I was happy to pay the 20 dollars more to get it back that fast. I honestly could have waited on it it was so quick.They even parked the car inside overnight because I couldnt come back until the next morning to pick it up.Excellent service! Im going to recommend everyone to them!

Never been there, Ive just heard good things about the place.

I needed to tone down the resonance of the vibrations from my custom exhaust. Added two glasspacks that fit perfect in my dual axle back. Job took less than a hour. Sounds amazing and very tolerable to drive.

Always a great experience they go above and beyond to take care of there customers.

Disappointed!!!!! I had my stock exhaust removed and replaced. It was perfectly good even after 15 years and had them do their custom welding with a new Flowmaster. After 4 months it broke where they welded onto the stock pipe. They did fix it they said. 9 months later it broke again. Then they tell me it was welded too many places front and rear. Like it’s my fault. Then they would not fix anything because it was over a year. Really!!! Maybe they should have replaced the muffler the first time. Terrible service and terrible workmanship!!! Thanks Matt!!!
