The Bakery here is amazing. I gave them a picture of a cake for my daughters birthday and they made it almost exactly as pictured. The icing and cake tasted great. They were alil behind when I went for pick up but I also did not specify I was on a time limit either. Would recommend for any occasion. Ive attached photos of the cake I wanted and received along with a bonus pic of a cake I saw while waitting

There is a local law regarding plastic bags. Sadly Weis has went with the less customer friendly option offer no free bags. Unlike Giant, Safeway and all the others offering FREE paper bags. If you want to offer bags for a fee offer a reasonable priced one. The better option would be free . Was my go to store, now not so much.

I understand that Westminster has just banned plastic bags (unless they are reusable) and I dont mind using the self checkouts. The issue comes when the machines arent prepared for reusable bags to sit on the scales. EVERY item we tried to put into the Weis reusable bags (that we brought from home) made the register yell at us to remove the last scanned item and scan it again. The poor girl working at the self checkout had to come over at least 5 times for a small cart that wasnt even full! What a pain! I will go to a store that provides paper bags or has a system that works for my reusable bags from now on.

LOVE this store and most of the people that work. They always have a good supply of whatever I need and I can always find new or different products to purchase

The town of Westminster, MD has outlawed plastic bags in grocery stores, so customers either have to bring their own bags into the store or pay 5 cents for a reusable plastic bag. That, in itself, I could tolerate, but at the same time they did away with most of their cashiers, and opened more self checkouts. The strange thing is that they have just as many cashiers at the front, but now they are standing around chit chatting with each other while customers struggle to get their own groceries scanned and bagged. Twice I have had to rescan my order, because accidentally placing one of my reusable bags on the scale throws the register into lockdown. What customers are forced to do is scan groceries, and place them unbagged on the scale, then after paying, they have to bag everything that is now in a pile on the other side of the scanner. This is a waste of my time, and I will be going to one of the several other grocery stores in town where bags are free and checkers are doing the job they were hired to do.

Its def. a maze going through the store!Has decent prices, but not much of a selection.

This is my 3 rd time using bakery & floral at Weis of Westminster for special occasions. Cat & Sarah did my moms quilt cake for her 70 th birthday, my husband & I renewed our vows & they did our rehearsal cake, this weekend we had a 40 th birthday with a joke cake, the ladies were on point ! The cake was a huge hit !Cindy in floral is beyond amazing! She helped me select & create my flowers for my wedding & 40 th birthday party centerpieces. I couldn’t had done it without her.

As we know, Westminster banned plastic bags. Stopped by this Weis tonight and was basically told there are no bags. I left with my items in my hands. Then I stopped by the Westminster Safeway. Bought a few things and was very pleased with the amazingly strong and durable shopping bags free of charge. I WILL NOW BE GOING TO SAFEWAY. BYE BYE WEIS- it’s time for a divorce.

Ignore the bad reviews, we have a lot of Karen’s and yuppies moving out here from Baltimore who will always complain and never be happy. This place is great. They have the best meat and produce. All the other grocery stores in the area sell rancid pink and gray meat, only fresh meat here. Aisles are really wide and long, and well stocked. The store is clean, and all the departments smell good. No fishy smell in seafood, deli and bakery smell fantastic when you enter, and the freezer and dairy sections don’t smell sour like other grocery stores. This has become my go to grocery store.

As always clean,easy wide aisles,helpful,pleasant employees and good buys.

You would think before leaving an employee in the customer service area that they would be trained to handle the job not just fill in a gap.

Seafood department never pick up the phone try twise calling to order some steam shrimp waiting in line for 10 minutes nothing call back again waiting in line nothing.

Meat section is full of old meat juices and grey colored meat, seafood smelled rancid when they were taking it out of the display case, produce has been on a decline for the past few weeks. Started charging 10 cents a bag.. not a nice enough grocery store to be charging those prices. Wont be back.

The restroom was clean and the large cans of kidney beans and whole peeled tomatoes were in stock.

The product selection at this story is great. Trying to use those ecoupons is really hard especially when the employees tell me they were not trained on how to use them.

Visited the Westminister store. A very big store so you can find most anything. They had fresh cut fruit old Bay seasoning and a variety of chips for out cookout.

It is a small but mighty shop. Lots of options and choices everyday. We have various food sensitivities and we can always find plenty of food (including ready-made) that avoid our issues. By far my favorite grocery store - and locally owned, not a big multinational corporation.

Did a curbside grocery pickup. It was fast, accurate, and free of additional charges. Perfect.

Weis has great prices and pretty much everything I need. Their own brand is high quality, in many cases BETTER than the leading known names.

I prefer the Hampstead location over this one. Its not just cause Hampstead now closer to my house, but more cause the one in Westminster is always out of things. There are just lots of empty shelves & rack (ex. - spices). Its also much more crowded & people arent as considerate about COVID protocols. There are also a LOT of young workers doing nothing, except blocking aisles cause theyre standing around talking.

This is a regional store for Weis who competes with three or four other large food stores. Varieties of quality food and brand name items is strong always fresh, sale items rolls with new items daily.

Clean store, friendly staff and a good selection of goods. Id recommend it to anyone who asks.

Mona-the deli manager at the Weis Markets in Westminster, MD went above and beyond her duties to accommodate my school for 4 cooked Thanskgiving meals. All associates that I encountered were friendly and offered assistance. I was able to easily find everything I was looking for. The self scan process was quick, but I did not like that I had to wait for an associate to scan my coupons.

Its nothing special they did remodel and the prices of everything went up, sometimes you can catch a good sale but normally they are higher priced then other stores.

The staff was very friendly. We had a accident my daughter knocked a case of soda off the cart and it broke open spilling soda every where. I went and informed the manager and they got someone to clean it up and after the guy cleaned it up he turned around and handed us a $10 gift card and told us to have a great weekend!

After 8 years living here, still my favorite supermarket in Westminster. Best prices, by far. Friendly staff. They sometimes will sell household goods like patio furniture at steep discounts near the front of the store. Weve gotten some great deals this way.

Weis deals cant be beat. Always grab a flyer and youll find items you have to have because they are too good to pass up. Love the rewards towards gas prices. I live that they have employees happy to help, Always!!

If you need to buy anything from a non-white/Protestant culture and you live in Westminster, this is your best option. Fairly nice selection of Asian and Hispanic goods. Also a really excellent selection of Pennsylvania-style kettle-cooked potato chips if thats your snack food of choice.

I am so disappointed in this store today!!!My shopping experience was traumatizing today because NO One working in the store had on any gloves a nd no face mask!!!!I have not been to any stores for groceries since March 14th.I have had a relative shop for me thru home delivery service.Today I ran out of cat food and three other items and my delivery order is not due til this Friday on April 17th.I asked the person at the self check out why no one was wearing protection!! His answer was the gloves had run out and said nothing about the mask and then walked away!!After doing self check out I did see to checkers with a face shield and gloves in the 2 end checkouts.I left feeling like I had let myself down because I should have left and not shopped but I am 70 years old and a diabetic and it was inconvenient for me to go somewhere else!! Not going to be back to your store ever again!!! This store is not following protective guidelines for me and not for their employees!!

There are good choices in produce, fish, meats and all departments. The entire grocery had a good variety. The soft sugar cookies in the bakery remind me of my grandmothers cookies. Good prices as well.

I had purchased 80/20 ground beef twice from Weis and it cooks up like mush. I dont know what they are doing to the ground beef but something needs to be done. I had to throw it in the trash. Very disappointed.

All Lines including self check were full. 4 to 7 people each line. One man had 1 item. No speed line was open. Two male employees were around cashiers, leisurely talking as if they had all the time in the world. Well I didnt.

This place is full of people who are nice and their produce doesnt go bad as soon as you take unlike a couple other supermarkets in the area. I never go wrong here! ^.^

Weis is one of those supermarkets thats big, but still has the small town feel to it. Stuff is always fresh and the selection is great. Unfortunately, the self serve terminals are SUPER slow at processing orders. Might not be Weiss fault though.

Nice selection of produce. Also had a very nice vegan and gluten free aisle. Was a little on the pricier side, but had many products that are hard to find in stores that typically require an online purchase.

Theyre open till 12am...Nuff said! No, but really their broccoli coleslaw in the prepared food section is really good. They also have a pretty nice cheese selection and olive bar.
