It really takes a lot to complain about a grocery store but tonight it took the woman Patricia 12 minutes to ring up the person in front of me, who had barely $100 of groceries . Then another 10 minutes to ring my items up. I had 2 bags of groceries and 1 case of water. It was beyond slow. They really need better register employees

This is a great grocery store. The staff is helpful and the store is clean. The price on some of the items are a tab high. But it might be a sign of the current time. Ill will shop here again.

I’ve shopped here for four years, I used to give it a 4 star rating because they have what I need but, the produce is sometimes not too great. That said; today there was a family not wearing masks (had them hanging off their ears). The manager was there so I politely asked him to take care of it. He said he would. Then the family followed me all over the store threatening me. As I hurried to get my stuff, without saying anything as I wasn’t looking for an altercation, just wanted to safely shop, I ran into another man working there. I explained that now I’m being harassed by the maskless family. He commented that I shouldn’t have to deal with that, and walked over to the family. They found me again and continued the behavior. I finished where I was and went to the checkout. I guess the management is afraid to follow the effort of the STATE MANDATE to wear masks in public indoor places. I guess I’ll take my business elsewhere and hope that store will take care of the customer. I shouldn’t have to explain why it’s important for me to stay safe or anyone else, either.

Always fresh and delicious food and a variety of items that are difficult to find elsewhere: in-store bakeryl with fresh Donuts, DELI features a wide variety of cheeses and salad, local dairy and produce...they have it all!

Shoppers is a very nice store and they always have everything you could want in grocerys the store is easy to navigate and always stocked .

Its the closest grocery store and also offers $10 off $50 either in weekly circular or the app. Normally only good Fri, Sat, and Sunday. Coupon in the circular has the dates. Not always the greatest prices and theres never a deal.on sodas. Normally end up going elsewhere for things not on sale.

The store is kept clean and safe and the employees are really helpful! There just arent a whole lot of them available.

I usually shop for several items here once or twice a week. I like the produce and meats. However, there’s one over-bearing lady that works there who uses a rather boorish tone and is often a bit unnecessarily curt for no reason. She’s a black lady with her hair cut very close . Short and loud. I don’t come to this store to be insulted by someone who always has some smart uncalled for remarks. I’ve been coming here for years, but it’s best I take my business to another store whose staff have better people skills. She even has the nerve to say “have a good night” after her self-embarrassing exhibition !

Firstly, though this store doesn’t even deserve one star, I had to give it one only to be able to make a complaint.I have noticed over the last six months or so from there advertisements that they mail through the United States Postal Service, there is an offer of $10 off your order is over $50, as I suspected six month ago, this is just a gimmick or to be perfect honest, a real simple scam. With my purchase in the store today of $97.87, I paid just that, $97.87 with no $10 credit on the sale, again, just as I thought ½ year ago this is nothing more than a gimmick.Being handicapped, I always need to use handicap shopping cart/scooters. But just as there ten dollar off scheme, there handicap scooters are even worse. Barely able to walk, I made it to the entrance where there were three handicap shopping cart/scooters. One was broken with a sign on it. The other was plugged in charging because it was dead. The third one, it was just sitting there not plugged in, and again it was completely dead. Looking through the glass to the exit area, I noticed a scooter over there. So, it appears that Shoppers Grocery Store Chains policy on helping handicap shoppers does not exist at all, and they could care less.Since in the weekly ad, 80% hamburger is on sale for $2.99, that was something that I wanted and needed very much. At that price I can have 1 pound of hamburger for dinner every day of the month for less than $100, pretty good deal. But, after going to the meat counter there was not very much of the 80% hamburger at $2.99 a pound there. I ended up picking up 28.49 pounds at a cost of $85.19, I did leave four of the approximate 4 pound packages of this on sale hamburger in the case. That of which I left, the I believe four packages of them had the hamburger almost floating in a mixture of blood and water, very unappetizing, and overweighted with water at a cost of $2.90 nonsense pound for the water?Well, though I had planned on purchasing approximate $350 worth of groceries and Meat, I only made it out of the store with the 28.49 pounds of hamburger and $8 worth of sweet onions before my handicap scooter ran out of charge. So, I left the store with $93.87 worth of groceries, when I was looking to spend $350, and Shoppers Grocery Store ended up losing a sale of approximately $240, and they could care less. Customer Service, what a joke. This store supposedly only has twenty-three stores in the Baltimore Washington area of the United States their Customer Service is stationed at Tacoma Washington in Washington State roughly 3000 miles away from here, what a joke.

Clean and friendly staff and great prices

It had what I hadnt been able to find at two other stores that were supposed to have it. I rarely go there however, because I find it to be quite expensive, Im on workers comp and dont receive my checks on a regular basis so Im hurting for the money I have.

Nothing special about this store usually. Prices are often good but the selection here is mediocre. Not a big store so limited space = limited selection space. This week had an outstanding sale on shrimp.

People were rude, but the food never let me down. haprices are ok.selection is ok.

Unfortunately, we bought a box of Infants Advil from Shoppers recently and the expiration date was 12/2019. We went to get a new one to exchange it and there was another box with the same date. We did end up finding a box with a later expiration date (2021) and they let us switch it out.

Most employees are great. Very helpful. One guy though that works evenings overseeing self checkout has seen me most every night getting milk etc... and has never acknowledge my presence or has ever helped bag my groceries which to me is a real bummer. Would expect better,especially being a everyday customer for at least 6 yrs.

Very clean grocery store. I however am not a fan of self checkout. I would like to have milk closer to the front door like Weiss across the street. It makes the one item trip to the store much easier. Again this really is a well set up store.

Employees in the deli section and “seafood” are so miserable. They don’t answer and look like that wan to kill you for ordering something. Going to Giant from now on.

I had an ok experience shopping there today during this scary pandemic but I wanted to let someone know 2 weeks in a row while we all have to wear face covering in the store I seen employee must work with meats ie gown with blood he was an older African American man wearing no mask strolling around the store I found this quite disturbing 2 weeks in a row

I like almost everything about the store but the thing that bothered me is that this store has an app and coupons which I like. Though when I get to check out, the cashier doesn’t want to scan my coupons or the barcode in the app for discounts. They’ve skipped pass me the part where I enter my phone number to use my rewards card, lied and said that the store doesn’t have app or a card and they have also have scanned one of my items more than once. For example if I’m only purchasing one 3-litter bottle of soda, the cashier would scan the soda 2 or 3 more times. When I catch the mistake and let the cashier know that I’m only buying 1 soda not 3, the cashier gets a huffy and a nasty attitude when they have to correct the error and take off the extra items. This is like the third time this has happened to me, I like the store and want to continue to shop there despite the not so nice cashiers, therefore so don’t have to deal with the employees or cashiers, I will be using self-check out instead from now on.

140 Village is a great shopping!!

Very convenient due to the hours of operation and the distance from my house. They have some great sales/deals but otherwise more on the expensive side compared to other grocery stores. The price difference wouldnt be an issue if you were getting better quality produce and meats. In my opinion, the quality is poor compared to other grocery stores. So unless this is the only store open and/or within the shortest distance from your location, choose a different store. I personally prefer Food Lion.

I can always find what I need. The prices are reasonable and the store is well stocked, especially in the produce section. They also feature produce from the local farmers in our area.

As a handicapped woman its was a bad experience.. the cart ran out of juice at checkout no one offered any assistance to. The car either.had to push the full cart with my arms and one good leg. Every one could hear the beeper also. Still no offer of any help.

And the prices are pretty decent and it doesnt matter about a card you can forget it if you need to cuz you dont need one which is great beings I often forget to bring my card to the store I go to. Great coffee and food friendly staff

I needed help finding kimchi, and the produce manager was incredibly polite and friendly. Other workers I spoke to were also extremely helpful; it was my first time at the store and I will absolutely be back. They had some very obscure ingredients for the korean dish Im making.

I dont do a lot of grocery shopping but Shoppers is one of the places I do go to their weekly ads have things that I use and want but especially their bakery department with their fresh breads colossal Donuts are some of my favorite things

Very good selection of ethnic foods. They make some of the best doughnuts in town. Try the cronuts. I wish they would let you bag while they are ringing you up, like the old days.

The store itself is big and nice, but I have major concerns about the cleanliness of the store. Bought a container of store made sandwiches and found a large fly dead inside of one of them. Horrified, I returned it, but the person did not even ask or care why I was doing so. Seems to be a common occurrence there I guess. I cant give them only 1 star however because of the large selection of other things they have in the store. They could use a much larger produce section though; there isnt much to it. Wont be shopping here again though after the dead bug incident. Eat at your own risk.
