I am so happy to have found this place! Everything was beyond my expectation. Great communication, great service, great prices. I replaced the starter and did my front brakes on my 2009 Honda Element. I shopped around and the prices I was offered elsewhere were much higher. Ive always worked on my own vehicles, but recently ran into a problem I couldnt figure out. I was an auto parts counterman for 3 years, about 20 years ago at a local parts store and dealt with both Jeff and many of his customers, he was an awesome/HONEST guy back then and still is !!! Ive never heard anything but positivity, back then and looking at his reviews.... nothing has changed !!! He is without doubt the most knowledgeable, honest, friendly mechanic around !!! Great experience here! Super honest guys and really willing to help with explanations. I found Jeff through Google and asked him to do a pre buy inspection on a used car I found nearby. He went above and beyond and really explained everything he was looking for on the car, hes clearly very knowledgeable. Unlike every other pre buy inspection Ive done he even drove the car with me to test it out, and sure enough he found a problem I would not have noticed. Despite being an expert, he was humble enough to call and ask about it to a friend of his who is a transmission expert. He gave me a possible solution, I brought it back to the dealer and his solution absolutely fixed the problem. Couldnt be more grateful for their help.Long story short; I didnt know I was looking for a new mechanic, but I definitely found one.

They were a joke took car there they couldnt start it drained my battery wouldnt re charge just pushed it out side .threatened to charge me storage fees . Because car was there for a week. I come pick up car and it starts right up. And the way they interact .with people is horriable

Half of the things that Jeff did on my car had to be replaced just a bit over a year later. Which also means it is outside of the warranty he would give.Now, my timing belt, which is a big job, needs to be replaced yet again. The one Jeff had put into my car had huge rub off marks on its back side (see image) which leads me to the assumption that it was not correctly hooked up in the first place.A timing belt should be good for 50-60k miles.This one was good for 2500 miles :(Not pleased at all with the financial loss for me and would not recommend this place anymore.

They take the time to show they care about you and your vehicle. Ive been going to this shop for over 17 years. I always recommend them to friends + family and hear nothing but positive comments back. If the shop is busy its because they have a good reputation and keep their customers for life! Its worth making an appointment and going to them to feel safe in your vehicle. I even drive over 15 miles just to get my oil changed here because I know it is the best service around Orange County. I chose to take my car here due to their perfect online reviews, and Jeff and Justin completely lived up to the reviews. They offered me an extremely fair price for an oil and transmission change, and they are some of the nicest people that Ive ever trusted my car with. But to top it all off, they went out of their way to inspect my car for things completely unrelated to why I took my car there in the first place. They gave me great advice about my tire sizes, and insight about the past history of modifications on my car that I was not aware of. It feels great to know Ive found a shop I can trust and to know that I wont be ripped off. They happen to be very close to my work, but I would drive across town if I had to so that I can have them work on my car.

Jeff is amazing! Although he was booked for several days, offered to listen to the symptoms surrounding my check engine light and was able to properly diagnose in less than a minute! Symptoms are gone, CEL is out, smog test passed this morning and both customer and truck are happy campers. Honest and fair automotive garages are not as easy to find these days, but make this your first stop and experience for yourself!

I have been using Jeff since I purchased my 2002 PT Cruiser. My current vehicle is a KIA 2016 Soul. When my engine light came on he advised me to go to the dealer for a warranty issue. I did! Great Guy!!! A week after I had my car returned to me I took my car to Jeff for an oil change. He notified me that bolts were missing, a wire was not hooked up and the cover under the vehicle was missing. I took photos. I am continuing to have this issue with KIA resolved. However, the photos I took were posted with Jeffs google photos, implying he did something incorrect. I want to be sure all of you know that he found the unfinished work that KIA did and notified me. Had some car trouble and being from out of town I was stuck. I chose personal care auto repair because they had good reviews. They were very friendly, kept me updated, and had me on the road before they closed for the day. They are a small shop, but what they lack in size, they certainly make up for it in customer service. They are honest and reasonably priced.

New to California and was seeking a mechanic as I was quoted $4k for a new engine along with other work that was needed. The mechanic referred me to personal auto care because he said the owner/mechanic was a great man who could do the work because the other shop didn’t replace engines.Well the owner at personal care told me exactly what was wrong and the cost was $700. It could have been a little more however he misquoted the time it took to complete the job and he charged my AC for free,.I then took my son’s Car to him for a complete checkup tuneup and I was charged for an oil change as everything checked out decent. He could have trumped the charge without having done repairs and I would not have known. As we needed to travel across the state.This is honestly an honest good hardworking Man who Genuinely cares about cars and his customers.Truly an honest gem as he will be my mechanic just as long as we are both around.

My car was barely running, and i thought the worst. I thought i was going to have to rebuild my head. Jeff called me back 2 hours after i dropped off the car and it was fixed free of charge. All he had to do was reconnect a vacuum line. He really could have taken advantage of the situation but he did not. Im glad i found this place.
