Such attention to detail. I left my truck in the service department and was greeted with a smile from the front desk young lady. They scheduled my vehicle, diagnosed the issue and even scheduled me for a follow up to finish repairs. Even the service manager came out and helped me. I purchased a brand new car from Buchanan Kia last night. The price on the website for the car isnt anywhere near what they charge you. They fail to mention the fact that they add all of these extra options and refuse to let you decline them. When I called and spoke to the General Manager he told me it is what it is and hes not cancelling anything or giving me any money back and was rude. This is not very good customer service. They told me that they added a $1,700 option that goes over the paint to protect it but the car still has plastic on it. How can you add a protectant to the paint if here is plastic on it?? My car is missing the valve stems caps and doesnt have floor mats inside of it. They also added another package and added it to the car price incase someone steals the car. I advised I didnt want that and the General manager advised me that they add it to make money. I have purchased A LOT of cars and this has been my worst experience! I do NOT recommend this dealership and I will not be going back.
Chris was amazing!!! He had the car ready and cooled down when I got there. He literally knew everything about the car . He seriously made the process so easy. His personality was fun and easy going.When I got the keys, he sat in the front seat with me and asked if I needed to know anything about the car . He set up many things for me on my phone and car before I left the lot. This isn’t normal!!! He went above and beyond any car salesman I have ever dealt with.Please go see him! UPON LOOKING AT THE VEHICLE WE DECIDED WE WANTED TO SEE SOMETHING DIFFERENT AND SHE QUICKLY PIVOTED TO GET US THE DETAILS AND COMPLETED THE TRANSACTION IN RECORD TIME. FELT GOOD AND WIFE WAS HAPPY!

We unexpectedly lost our car to a car fire so we have the misfortune of shopping into todays supply chain shortage. Its pretty competitive for current inventory and we finally found Buchanan Kia as one of the few Kia dealers that wasnt putting several thousands of dollars of a market adjustment on top of the MSRP.When we called in mid-october the sales person, Tiffany Haines, and the sales manager Tommy Perry, told us there was a car matching our needs that was in transit and expected to deliver the next day. They said they couldnt take deposits or make holds on any vehicles but that we could make the drive over in the morning to complete the purchase when they reopened for business. Tiffany informed me that there would be a required additional fee of $1795 that included a car coating for paint protection and some special wheel inflation. We werent thrived about paying for extras we didnt need, but we felt a little more assured since we were receiving some type of service in exchange for the additional required costs vs paying needless marked up prices like some other dealers.We called first thing before our two hour drive up to confirm our appointment and were told to our surprise, the car was no longer available. Apparently this dealership did indeed let people make deposits or take holds somehow because the car was marked as sold before they opened for business and it had even arrived to the lot. We were frustrated but told that a similar vehicle was expected to arrive in early November. We didnt want to lose another car from under us so we called Tiffany daily to confirm its arrival timeline. We asked again if we could put a deposit down to secure it but were told no.On 10/28 we saw the car we were promised on the dealers site (finally with a VIN) marked as in transit so we called Tiffany to see if we could just buy the car sight unseen and pick it up when it came in to avoid having the car sold from underneath us again. When preparing the papework Tiffany said the mandatory paint protection package was now $2795 and that they have reached their sales goal this month and already got their bonuses so they didnt want to sell it until November 1st so they could get more commissions next month.It was a crass request however we were fine with waiting a few days. The fee for the required paint package had now changed a significant amount to 2795 though, so we did ask if they could honor the original fee of 1795 since we had lost out on the first car they promised us through no fault of our own. We were told by the manager that theyll sell it to someone else with the new markup cost if we dont buy it and they didnt need our business. We are upset that this dealership doesnt keep its promises, is taking advantage of desperate consumers in a bad situation, and is arbitraily changing the price because they know they have a sale. There are other car dealers out there that are more worthy of your business. Try West Broad Kia in Richmond VA, Sunbury Motors Kia in Sellingsgrove PA, and Atlantic KIa in West Islip NY.
Shaun (our agent) was direct, quick, and hospitable. He made our family feel at home and un pressured to buy or make decisions without knowing all the details. The rest of the staff was also warm and welcoming.

If I could leave a 0 I would, I had beyond the worst experience here ever! I am a young adult looking for a car to buy my first actual car . and Kia had one I had some interest in. I asked the person advertising it if I could make an appointment to come look at it, they replied I could and we came up with a time and date. I called Kia just to make sure I could come, and they told me that I didn’t schedule an appointment with them and they didn’t know who advertised it. They sent the car to pa for someone else to look at when I already told them I was coming in to look at it. The person ended up not wanting it and they sent it back. I went on a test drive and definitely was interested and then I noticed the check engine light. They said they would fix it if I brought it back then next day. They scanned it for a “sensor”. I brought it back the next day and they insisted I’d have it back the next day. They gave me a rental until I got it back. Needless to say I had to wait almost a whole month to get my new car back when they said it was only being fixed for a sensor then I got tired of going through Kia about it because they had absolutely no idea of what they were talking about. The car ended up needing a lot of work. I also some how bought a 3,000$ warranty I was unaware of. I wanted to cancel the warranty and the staff got rude. When purchasing the vehicle they tried to char scam me out paying 500$ more. I confronted the staff and they said there financial employee must have made a mistake. . 4 days later driving the rental they asked for it back because someone wanted to buy it. So I came all the way back up to Westminster and picked up another Jeep. I pull away and the car is making all kinds of werid noises and also had absolutely no gas. I took the car back because I didn’t want to have to pay for something I didn’t break. The employee insisted it was the stop and start but I knew it wasn’t. Then I wasted more time waiting for another rental. Finally 2 weeks later I got my car I have only been able to drive for a day after buying it. They kept blowing me off and coming up with excuses to why it wasn’t ready or why I couldn’t come get it. I had to wait 3 WHOLE MONTHS for them to cancel my warranty . The staff was rude and very disrespectful and will most certainly never get my business again.

My whole family has been buying cars here for years. It’s a good atmosphere. As far as pricing goes: a very good friend who used to sell cars once told me that if you feel good after you bought it, you didn’t get ripped off. With that being said, The buying process seemed open, honest and fast. I don’t feel taken advantage of, and during the process I felt like I was very informed by everyone involved. It didn’t feel like the typical “oh god I have to buy a car and try and haggle.” The car is great and I love how much you get for the price with Kia. I would recommend this place.

I called yesterday interested in a dodge dart for sale. Filled out the info and about a hour later Tiffany responded back and told me to stop by today around 1 or 2. My son wants a dodge dart so he was excited to look at the car. He was ready to purchase it today. We get there and another lady came out I asked if she was Tiffany she was not so she went in and got her. We went in she gave us the car fax and copied my license so I could drive it. She went to get the keys and told us that it was getting inspected I asked if we could see it she said no but she would call when it was done. She knew we were coming today great communication guys. I called back in the evening to find out the car wasnt there its at the dodge dealership waiting on a part will not be back for a week and that was from a guy on the phone. Guess what hampstead dealer has one and we looked at it even though it was getting fixed and they will have it done by Saturday I told the guy on the phone and he didnt care about the sale so it looks like hampstead dealership is going to get the sale. What a let down if we were informed about this maybe we could have worked it out but here we are going somewhere else!!

Always pleased with Buchanan. The online booking is simple and Ive never had issues. The staff is friendly and accomodating, they review the work to be done before and after the job. You can pay less sonewhere besides a dealership, but it isnt that much more expensive in this case. And you dont have the peace of mind that the people working on your car are experts on your make when you go elsewhere. If you have a Hyundai or Kia in the Westminster area, go to Buchanan.

Normally I have nothing but good things to say, though I rarely have time to leave reviews. This time however I received poor service. My car was finished for 20 minutes and I had to go ask about it in order to check out, I may have been waiting longer. They didnt go over the details of my service like they usually did and there wasnt even a sticker placed informing me of when the car was due back in. I know this is an anomaly but it was still disappointing for how much I pay.
I came in with financing and quickly identified a vehicle that fit my payment parameters. I test drove the vehicle and truly enjoyed the ride. The sales person Chris told me the cost, my monthly payment, and gave me the breakdown of everything that I would be paying for. The process took a short period of time and financing was well explained. It was an enjoyable experience.

We knew nothing about Kia except they have a plant in Georgia and some parts come from South Korea. When the young gentleman walked out and asked if he could help us, we had our doubts. We told him we was interested in third seating. Shaun Martin was very knowledgeable of the Kia product, Tellurie, he was showing us. We asked about a Sorenta and brought one out for us to look out. He was also very knowledgeable about that model also. He worked with his manager to run numbers for us. He told us that Buchanan uses the sticker price and added on the etching, nano and nito only which we could see. We found this to be true when we visited another dealer close by. Everyone at the dealership in Westminster was very helpful and kind. Shaun Martin was awesome to deal with and made our buying experience painless.

They were already booked for the day but asked a technician to take a look since I had a long drive home. The technician figured out the problem immediately and squeezed me in to their busy schedule. I went to a dealership in hagerstown that added tons of fees to their internet price and wouldnt work with me at all. I called buchanan kia and asked for the price of the vehicle straghtforward,freight included, no incentives,and they answered me honestly.i drove the vehicle, told the salesperson Shaun about my trade and downpayment and exactly how much I wanted to finance. He checked on incentives that i did qualify for, and their best price was still a bit over what i wanted to finance, i offered to put 1/2 of the difference down if they would put up the other half . The management team at Buchanan worked with me and we got the deal done. The whole staff was courteous and efficient .I got the car I wanted for a reasonable price for both parties,and was in and out in a reasonable time while dealing with honest people. They actually want to sell you a car, unlike the hagerstown dealer that I tried to make the same deal with on the exact same car. I recommend this dealership highly and will purchase from them again . Worth the 45 minute drive.Shaun was courteous, honest, and wants to sell you a car, thats what I want from a salesperson
Awesome place! Helped my family out with getting a loaner and getting us on our way home after breaking down two hours away while heading home from vacation. Had the engine replaced and another recall done on my car in just under a month, which from past experiences with other dealerships, is an amazing turn around. If I decide to stick within the Kia family in a few years, I will definitely be dealing with Buchanan Kia even though they’re an hour and a half away from my home in another state!

Our experience with Kia has been AWFUL! We bought a brand new car from them, needed to get something fixed, and got our brand new car back in such poor condition...I dont mind paying for the replacement parts but why should I have to pay for poor labor? After dealing with the service manager/Jim for months (still not resolved) and receiving the absolute worst customer service its safe to say I will never be purchasing from them again. I highly advise everyone to stay far far away...

I had a really good time getting to know thee Buchanan team on Saturday. It was apparent that everyone had enthusiasm for the Kia brand and understanding the customer needs. The gentleman I worked with Bruce Kim even had me consider features of a less expensive style of the vehicle I was looking at to make sure I understood that some features (in particular navigation) can be accomplished with Android auto. In the end there were a few extras that swayed my decision but it was refreshing to work with someone that seemed as interested in my finding the right car as the sale. Went in for an oil change and tire rotation. Staff was super helpful and friendly. Comfortable, clean waiting area with lots of amenities (water, coffee, TV, device charging stations, free Wi-Fi, reading materials, toys for the kids, etc.) They washed and disinfected my car (a sign of the times), and were genuinely warm and knowledgeable. Very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back for future service needs!

Buyers Beware! This dealership will work through the numbers with you but will completely go back on their word once they bait you in to coming in for a test drive. We essentially wasted half of a day traveling down to this dealership just to have the numbers altered with little/no explanation. Salesman was unable to provide basic information on the vehicle’s specifications. We will gladly take our business to another dealership that stays true to WORD!

I have dealt with the folks at the Buchanan Kia dealership in Westminster, M.D. since before it became Buchanan. Super service, wonderful mechanics and all the staff are a joy to work with. I most appreciate how they work with me when my car is in for service. Recently I had my 2006 Sedona in for service and to find the source of some unhealthy sounds and functioning of the van. Bill Bender called me with the bad news and by the end of the day I drove home in a shiny new 2021 blue Sedona. Bill spent time and went over all the options of what Buchanan could do to put my old van back on the road but she was beyond worn outChris, one of the salesmen, went to work and got me a lovely deal on the New Sedona. This sort of service is why I keep coming back even though I now live in Aberdeen, MD, 56 miles away.
I love Buchanan Kia. I have used Buchanan for the service of my car since I purchased it it 2015. They are dependable, trustworthy and always give me great service. Jim Sands and the entire staff are helpful and friendly. I always trust Buchanan to give me great service and even though I dont live in the Westminster area, I dont trust having my car serviced with any other dealer!
