Met the awesome crew of 23zero at Overland Expo East, and their tents construction and quality materials blew me away! I purchased the Outbreak 1550 Swag tent shortly after and it arrived quickly with no surprises, Best tent I have ever owned hands down!!

We bought a 56 walkabout, picked it up on 6.9.21 (todays date is 7.2.21). We drove away, found a campsite remote and installed our new roof top tent in the field. Weve never owned one before, read a lot of reviews on other brands and happily came across this company! From the very beginning, we felt this was a good choice. The workers are 100% helpful over the phone and in person. Its speaks volumes that an owner of a company still answers the phone and fields questions from customers! The owner was extremely helpful over the phone to us. Brett (along with another worker, but forgot his name) helped us grab a few extra items for our long adventure through Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Washington, back home to Oregon and onward to California! This tent gets a 10 from us. It was easy to install (we have an RCI bed rack on a Tacoma). It spacious for 2 people, incredible easy to set up, comfortable and a great addition for us two outdoor enthusiast. This tent held up to 40mph winds, rain, and made us feel safe camping in a well known area for bears. Highly recommend this tent and supporting this company. Thank you for the brilliant product and the overall professionalism given to us roof top tent newbies.

I recently purchased a 23Zero Breezeway 72. It was amazing! My wife and I slept comfortably inside with our two kids. I removed the rain cover and opened the sky window for some star gazing. I highly recommend getting one. We can’t wait to go on another adventure and use our Breezeway.

I ordered a tent and it arrived a month early! Of course being excited I checked in monthly during my wait. They were always quick to respond and detailed with their responses updating my time line. I took it home and immediately mounted it. This thing is huge and so comfortable. Thanks 23 Zero for an awesome product and experience!

Nice people to work with. Helped us with problems encountered. The awning is wonderful. It held up amazingly well during a storm.(We followed instructions and used guylines everywhere) Impressed with the quality of accessories.. nice heavy duty stakes that dont bend easily. Also have the sidewalls to the awning.. it will make it a great structure.

Stopped in to get some measurements on the 220 case. Staff was very friendly, helpful and professional. The 220 case fits perfectly in between the wheels of a Toyota Tacoma bed.

We absolutely love our 23 Zero root top tent! Its easy to set up, the LST is amazing, and the overall quality is great. Our only suggestion would be pockets or other storage solutions built into the inside. Even without that, we still would recommend it to everyone we know.

The 23zero sales team are awesome. Bret & Heston we’re able to put me at ease on locating my product ordered to include providing tracking info. Heston even went into detail on tips for the 180R awning. Even better knowing he’s a Tacoma owner as well.-lol I can’t wait to sport the 23zero bran out on my adventures.

Perfect. But of course, I knew what I wanted. The only problem was I needed 6, they only had 3.

While I am pleased overall, there is one matter that disappointed me. I opted to build the rack for the bed of my truck instead of buying one. I wanted the mounting rails of the rack to run parallel to the mounting rails of the tent so that the entire rail is resting on the surface. I called the manufacturer and asked for the distance on-center of the rails on the tent. I had to talk to four people before I received an answer. They informed me that every tent is slightly different, but they rails are about 23 inches apart. So I built the rack with the mounting surface at 23 apart on-center. using 3 channel, that would allow me 1.5 of difference to play with in either direction. I put about $700 in the rack with steel, time, and bed liner. When the tent arrived, I measured the rails on it and they were a whopping 28.5 apart on center. This made my rack useless. My only suggestion to the manufacturer would be to educate your people on the structure and specifications of all of the components. I am sure that I am not the only person who has asked this particular question. Now I have to remove $300 worth of bed liner, weld on additional mounting tabs for the tent, and spend another $300 to have it sprayed again. Outside of that, I am please with the tent, just not the knowledge (or lack thereof) of the 23Zero employees concerning the specifics of their tents.

23Zero Walkabout 62” is a fantastic setup for a Roof Top Tent. The tent is simple to set up and take down. The zero light fabric is the greatest thing to happen to tents. No more waking up at 6am and heating up, the inside stays dark and cool. Well worth the investment.

Delivery was made a month earlier than expected. Which was great!!I researched approximately 8 different manufacturers for RTT’s, and was sold on the quality and style of the 23Zero tents. I haven’t had a chance to use it yet, because I’ve had it for less than a week. But not worried at all of my expectations with 23Zero.Thank you!!

Love 23Zero products and more importantly there staff/owner. Avery and I think it was Brett hooked me up big time with a 270 Awning installation. There was def. some hiccups along the way but they made it easy and friendly to get her on and back on the road. I had come down from Bozeman Montana on my way to CA mid trip when the shipment didnt show up but no fear, the guys at 23 dug through there inventory and were able to find me a 270 awning in the way back of storage in time for the rest of my trip! I purchased a walkabout 62 and its awesome!!! I used it several time now an its very comfortable, airy to sleep in and sets up in no time!! Seriously durable and well made. It arrived on time and was just as advertised. Worth every penny!!!

Cover and strap began to tear still within warranty. Sent a few photos and my receipt and these guys took care of it very fast and painless. Definitely happy I chose 23zero for my tent, great customer service and easy to work with.

TL;DR This is a great company with great people but don’t use if you can’t be patient and like to yell at people to get your way . It’s okay to be frustrated but don’t take it out on people who can’t control the situation.My husband wanted a tent for his birthday so that’s exactly what I got him. I initially called 23Zero to see what was in stock/how long things would be back ordered. They were very kind and helpful. I can say we did have a bit of a wild ride with things being backordered. I ordered at the end of March and was told and the phone as well as in an email it should be delivered around the end of April. The end of April rolled around and still no word so I called them again, especially since my husband’s birthday was at the end of April and I was hoping to surprise him. They were very kind and just explained that their shipments were taking longer than expected and ours should now be delivered in late May. This was frustrating but there was nothing I or they could do about it because it was more or an issue with their manufactures. Anyhow the end of May was approaching and I called again. They told me it would be shipped in the next 2-4 business days. After 5 days we called again and they told my husband it was just an issue of them not having enough pallets. It was shipped at the end of May though and we received it at few days later at the beginning of June. All in all they had wonderful customer service and were there to help when we needed it. We also live on an Air Force Base, which of course requires military clearance to enter. They were very aware of this case and made sure it was communicated to Old Dominion Freight so there were no issues. Overall we had a really great experience but if you’re a Karen who likes to yell at people to get what you want you want when you want this is not the company for you. These are real people and they can’t control how fast their shipments are coming in. Just know, most companies who have backorders must have a pretty good product for people to be willing to wait.

Went in to 23zero looking for a top tent since they were the best we could find online for the price! Brett answered all of our questions and then some! He even went above and beyond giving us a full list of every single thing we needed for our roof racks given the fact that we didn’t have them on our car yet! This place has an awesome atmosphere and Brett was the nicest salesman i’ve come across in along time!

Im in love with the 23zero RTT and 270 awning. Even though I had to wait some time to receive my tent, they communicated with me and received it exactly when the said I would. Ive used my Walkabout 56 over fifty times now and have had it in strong winds, torrential rain, snow and it has not let me down. In spite of all the off roading it has been threw over the bed of my truck, it is still in like new condition. I absolutely love this tent.

Great experience with them, bought a 270 awning...was told there would be a 2 month wait but it arrived early in a month. Also bought from them roof rack shower curtains. Love the color since my rig is od green I wanted matching color accessories. Will continue to shop with them

23ZERO products a bar none, that’s all we run on our overland trailer. We have the Walkabout 87 Tent and Annex, Peregrine 270 Degree Awning, Peregrine Shower Enclosure, as well as the new waterproof mattress sheet. The material quality is superb, the LST (Light Suppresion Technology) is superior, and the mattress quality is the best in the industry with the fast rebounding memory foam mattress and super comfy I may add. Our family of 5 fits super comfortably in the bigger than California King sleeping area that the Walkabout 87 Tent offers. Amazing experience all around. Drove from CO to get rtt installed. Team got on it half hour before scheduled appointment. Heston have very good demonstration of setup and provided his cell when I left in case I came across any problems with first use.

Fast shipping, and fantastic product. Really awesome engineering, quality and just plain great-looking components, color of the LST fabric, feel and look of the black zippered bad with logo. As a mechanical engineer I was super impressed with the 2 steel L-brackets thickness: 5/16 ( 8mm)!!The black anodized beams and rafters are badass, very tactical styling.Cant be happier with it, and how simple and quickly it sets up/packs down. Once I saw a vid showing this freestanding setup and how rad the 180 awning looks, I couldnt unsee it. Had to have it. Love how the 180R (60 long) fits the side of my Prinsu cab rack perfectly (double cab Tacoma). The 180 deg design allows me as much shade as most of the 6 or 7 long conventional pullout awnings, without looking like a jousting match going down the highway. Everybody who sees this pulled out and set up on my truck loves it too.

The tent is fantastic. The fabric is heavy and durable (they have a lighter version if you are worried about weight), and lets no light through. The mattress is comfortable, and the whole thing sets up in no time at all.

I ordered the annex which I keep attached to the well-thought-out channel system and just fold it up on top of the tent before I put the cover on. 🤙🏾 23zero gives so many extra bonus options that athey dont mentioned on their website description. I purchased a breezeway 72 and have been extremely impressed with it! This is only my second rooftop tent (my first being a Yakima) but I think between the quality of the tent matched with very reasonable pricing make them your best option when purchasing a rooftop tent! The 72 folds out to a California king which has been great for me my wife our son and dog, so much space! The windows provide great ventilation and the skylight has been a fun treat for our sun when we take the rain fly off. One of the biggest perks of a rooftop tent is the quick set up and takedown, and this product is extremely easy to set up(do it with one person in about 5-7 minutes time) EVEN with how big it is. Lastly, their canvas they use with their LST is PHENOMENAL!!! Even on a sunny day in Florida, the tent is dark inside, surely helping keeping it a few degrees cooler. With a 3 year old who wakes up at the crack of dawn, it’s worked wonders for letting my wife and I sleep in a little longer! 10/10 WILL NEVER BUY FROM ANOTHER BRAND AGAIN!

I love my 23zero 87 walkabout tent. It is one of the best things Ive purchased for my family. We can go anywhere and see the country for the price of gas and food. Definitely going to bring us closer as a family. Takes me minutes to pack up and travel. The quality of the tent is great. Well manufactured. It is so dark in the tent I woke up and didnt know where I was the first time I slept in it.

I was able to pick my Breezeway up from 23Zeros new store in Utah. Was able to visit with all the great employees there. Just a bunch of guys that love the outdoors. Fits my whole family and the blackout technology is amazing. Absolutely no issues so far. Just got back from a trip with our new 23zero walkabout 62 it preformed perfectly. We had the best sleeping we have ever had in a tent. The new light suppression technology works great. We woke up when we were ready and were surprised to see the sun up before us (tent was still pitch black inside).

I purchased one of their tents (even though they are on back order) for a couple of reasons, the quality of the product seems to be superior to other similar products, for a lower price, and the customer service was AMAZING! Let’s start with I love the logo! I have a Byron 60. Nothing but good things to say. I love the tent. I useIt often. All kinds of Weather. Ive gotten down the setup to about ten min. I have a 4 runner little harder being on a higher vehicle. I’ve upgraded my ladder to the collapsible kind. Any who had a little mishap with the ladder and called and they were Johnny on the spot sent me one out right away so I can make my trip this weekend. That’s service. I’ll keepRocking them..

Our tent was delivered within the timeframe that was promised. The item was packed well and photos were sent showing the condition prior to shipment with detailed receiving instruction should a claim be necessary. The carrier delivered locally with a lift gate even though we decided against the upcharge for a lift gate. The tent was recived without damage. Upon installation and detailed inspection there are no defects with superb stitching. We would but this tent again.

We purchased the top of the line 23Zero Walkabout 87 with Light Suppression Technology with Full Annex as well as their 270* Awning and Shower. After shipping, more than a $6,000 USD investment.This purchase decision was made because I wanted the absolute best setup for a $130K Tacoma build down in Costa Rica.We waited weeks for the tent to arrive to the dealer because we were excited this product was the best quality on the market.Once mounted to the vehicle and setup, we tested the awning in our driveway. The awning started to leak at the stitch points between the seams between the downfold and roof, on every triangular piece of roof of the awning. This caused rain to come in at these seams with all of the walls up, spilling onto camp tables, food and clothing. The leak was not a one time occurrence, it appears many if not most of the seams of the China made awning leaked.Then onto the tent. The Mecca of tents. The Walkabout 87. We were so excited about this tent. The whole family piled in, us on top and the kids down in the annex. After setup (which takes a dreadful hour for the first few times and 40 minutes when you are moving fast), we climbed in the tent for the first storm. Rain was on it’s way. As the rain went from light to medium, the kids started saying that they had drops of water hitting them on the head in the annex. That was weird, couldn’t be. Then a few minutes later, all four corners of our mattress up top were soaked! We had to use full size beach towels in every corner to soak up the rain water that was coming in between (you guessed it), absolute garbage quality seams and seam tape. Where the pockets are in the Walkabout 87, on all 4 corners, the pockets were completely full with water. The outside of the tent was waterproof in many areas but seemed to get drenched in the bottom corners of the windows. Then as water rolls down the outside of the tent, it goes into garbage quality seams and leaks inside the tent, soaking the mattress and everything below in the annex.The 23Zero company is good at marketing their products. They are horrible at quality manufacturing, quality control and customer service.I brought this to their attention and asked for a full refund as I was moving on to a hard top tent that would not leak. They basically told me to pound sand. It was appalling. They refused to take a return and refund the tent. They would not pay shipping back to them and said that they would inspect the tent and if a warranty was warranted, would do so at their discretion. They refused to return the tent (we used it two nights). Unbelievable.I’m not a dunce here, not my first tent nor my first rodeo in quality control. I am the founder and operator of a $100MM beverage company that is made in the USA and takes quality control very seriously - something that 23Zero fails to do.I would never recommend these products to anyone and steer you to buy a real tent if you’re in the market. James Baroud for hard shell and ARB or similar for soft tents.Sad that companies can operate this way and stay in business - but what I’ve learned about business is that these companies will not be around for the long haul.Long term shareholder value has a direct correlation to customer service. Not standing by your product and telling customers to pound sand who voted for you with their dollar and put trust in a quality product being delivered will never work out in the long run.Proceed with caution.

Justin and the team at 23-Zero have been great to work with. They answered all of our questions, and were quick to get our tent processed and shipped out. We havent had a chance to use the tent yet, but install went well, and the quality seems to be great. Would recommend 23 Zero USA to anyone looking for a great product at a competitive price!

Just got my weekender 72 installed and honestly had the best customer hands down. Justin and the rest at 23zero installed my LFD cross bars as well as the roof top tent perfectly! They both have such an expansive knowledge on the industry and products, ended up with more secure mounting that the regular bracket per their suggestion. During the install nothing was left unturned, everything was buttoned down and tighten just right. No corners cut here, seriously stop looking elsewhere and do yourself a favor and call up Justin, you will thank me later. These dude are BADASS! Coming back soon for my annex and cant wait!

We just installed the shower awning on our teardrop and Im looking forward to our next trip to put it to the test.
