This is, hands down, the best garage door company Ive ever dealt with. The installers really know their craft. Not only did they come well inside their install window, but they finished fast and programmed the openers for my vehicles! The door they installed runs so quietly that I cant even hear it with my ear to the door leading to the house! The installers are really personable and take pride in their work. One was obsessed with fixing a small click he heard when opening the door. (Didnt bother me) He managed to fix it and its great! I was used to having to mash the opener button, so it took a while to get used to how lightly you need to hit their new opener. Totally recommend Precision for their work and customer service!

Called on a Saturday and was pleased to have a technician, Ken, at my home about 2 hours later. He quickly diagnosed my problem and showed me two different choices on repairs.He then provided some maintenance and attempted to connect my opener to the app. He wouldn’t give up though it was not to be done. Let him know I finally figured it out after he left. Loved the quick response, quick repair, and Ken’s customer service. He did not want to leave till I was satisfied. Second time with Precision Door and highly recommend the firm.

My garage door spring broke.I called precision garage door service on Saturday 3pm. They sent out a technician who arrived at 4.30p.m. He looked over what I needed & gave me 3 quotes to choose from.it took him 2.5 hours to install a whole new garage door opener system.he did a beautiful job.my only complaint is I think the prices are a little too high but after doing some research precision uses the best quality parts .I was also told my springs are rated at one hundred thousand cycles.also I don’t have to lube any part of the system except the main hinges on the garage door every 3 months.thank you so much William for helping me out and doing such a great job.

To meet the immediacy of my need to have this corrected they sent out a very pleasant representative named Teddy to fix the problem. To say Teddy did an awesome job is an understatement. UPDATE - I wasnt going to call after reading their response but when I was locked out of my house the other day for almost 10 minutes because the keypad stopped working, (but it worked fine 10 minutes prior) I called, and they still want to charge me a service fee too see why THEIR unit has become faulty.... solid customer service...-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Don’t use them at all!!! I don’t know if it’s true but their own service employees told me at two different times that no other universal remote will work with their opener mechanism. Basically you’re stuck using them for services and parts. I have not tried a universal remote to test that.First, they didn’t install the door correctly and had to get called back out after the failed inspection. Second, after about two years the garage door keypad battery died, I go to change it and the 9volt battery connectors are rusted out and break off (parts were flimsy garbage). Not only do they charge me the $150 and change for a service fee to get them back out but charge me to replace the whole new keypad. The service employee told me this is a known problem with their keypads… I was still charged for service and parts. That was the second time they confirmed that you HAVE to use their parts and devices.Here we are a few years after that and randomly the machine mechanism doesn’t have the same range of operation. I changed the remote batteries but didn’t do anything. Sometimes it doesn’t respond at all and a couple times almost got locked out of our home. The remote and keypad both don’t respond and sometimes takes multiple-multiple tries to get the door to open.I’ll never use again!!! Garbage products and little care in quality service…

Precision was Great! My door was only opening part way. I called Precision and was lucky enough to get an appointment the next day. Vince came out and diagnosed my problem quickly. I needed new springs which help raise and balance the door. An hour later I had brand new premium springs and my door is working perfectly! 10 out of 10! Ill Definitely be back!

We recently completed hurricane windows and doors on our entire house. Before we got a better wind mitigation for homeowners insurance we had to do the garage door. We had everybody from pot smoking hippies with budget prices to guys who never call us back. Precision finally came out and gave us an estimate. The salesman was great, even though there was sticker shock. It was an extra $1,000 just because we have an 18-ft door instead of 16 foot, but its a great opening. My installers Adam and Rob were spectacular! True professionals and incredibly efficient. I cant say enough about them as they were super personable and pretty funny. When they left I mentioned that the gasket at the bottom was misshapen and Adam said its because it was strapped hard or banded prior to delivery but it would settle out. After a couple weeks of sun and weather it did not. I called them back and Precision was more than happy to send Adam back with a brand new gasket. He just left here after doing the adjustment and it is a perfect, even weather seal. I am delighted with their work and highly recommend them.

I called Precision Door Services this morning to fix the lower strip on my garage and they were here before noon.Teddy completed the job in under an hour, we talked about the advantages of changing out the broken motor but he had another job to go to - he went and completed his other job, grabbed the motor, and returned to change it out hours before his scheduled return time.(Ive never had a handyman be on time, let alone early - so this was a wonderful surprise.)Teddy was not only wonderful at his job but incredibly polite. He kept his mask on without me even mentioning it, and promised to return if we ever had any trouble with the new technology in the door. But he did such a great job explaining it that I dont think Ill need to call him - which is a shame because he was a pleasure to work with.Id recommend him to anyone ever having issues with their garage.

What a great decision! I could have gone with a smaller local co., but glad I didnt. I was expecting to pay $150 to remedy a squeaky, possibly mis-aligned door. Instead, I paid $200 and not only got the squeaks fixed, but new cables and a broken cross-member patched. Plus some great advice. Tommy was absolutely awesome!

I came home to find my garage door would not open-haven’t had a problem with the garage for years so I didn’t know who to call. I did what I usually do and started searching the internet. I looked at several websites and read reviews and decided on your company.It was Friday afternoon about 2p.m. and I was able to get an appointment for 4-6. What really impressed me was the confirmation email I got for the appointment, telling me the name of the technician, his picture and a statement of their security measures.My technician called early and said he could be at my house by 3. He attempted to fix the opener and it did work when we tried it a few times, but then it stopped working so he installed a new system. I was also pleased that he had everything with him, I didn’t have wait a couple of days while the opener was ordered.After installing the new system, he went over everything with me and when I mentioned I was going to try to sync the opener so I could open it from my car mirror. He immediately offered to do that for me, I thought that was really nice.Everything is working perfectly, my technician was Jose Esposito and I will absolutely ask for him again.

Raymond R. Was terrific as was the whole experience. We called precision to come and give us an estimate for new garage door openers as ours were very old and not working well. They gave us an appointment for the next day first thing at 8 AM and Raymond explained the various options. He was very capable and personable and we decided to go with an option and he said he could put them in right then and there and a few hours later we had our new garage door opener’s in and working. He was very patient and explained everything to us including programming our two cars with the opener. He also helped us connect them to WIFI. I would recommend Precision.

I had a horribly noisy garage door that I was worried was going to fail. I called Precision at around 9 am and by noon the same day they showed up. I thought that they were just going to give me a quote for the needed work. To my delight I not only received a fair price but the tech fixed it the same day! Its so quiet that I can actually hear the motor!

Precision Doors came when they said they would; tried everything to fix the problem and when they couldn’t gave me options on different units. I went with what we had (Liftmaster). He was neat, answered all my questions and installed the new unit right then on first visit. Highly recommend.

I used precision for the first time last week. Vince came out and was very knowledgeable. To find and replace parts for my older garage opener wouldve cost the same as replacing it with a newer system. Their cost was about $150 over Home Advisor and Home Depot estimates. If you dont feel like rate shopping and they finished everything same visit. Not bad.

Technician was very good. Replaced the motor for my garage door. Unfortunately, the quote to replace a garage door was 50% higher than a previous quote from a competitor. Not to mention the absurd charge of $250 for a permit.

Service technician was very good. Quality of work excellent. Only gave three stars due to price. Very expensive. Approximately double the cost of other companies for spring replacement. Was told they were better, higher quality springs, but not sure it was worth paying double since the original springs lasted ten years. They also have a classic upsell of Good, Better, Best recommending additional repairs. I thought the competition would keep prices in line. My mistake. With a broken spring this tends to be an urgent situation and having called them out was on the hook for a service call if I didn’t have them do the repair, but I highly recommend getting several quotes if you have the time.

Called to have my spring assist fixed on garage door...was quoted $130-$250 and confirmed that is with labor included. I said great let me call my husband and confirm pricing. Confirmed price twice with call center when apt was booked on the second call.Tech called shortly after, arrived on time and was pleasant... the major disconnect was him quoting me $600+.Then called the office to have someone review calls...Shortly after I get a return call... Manager proceeds to fight with me on the phone; also talking over me.Trash customer service from Samantha.Plenty of companies to call before reaching out to PDS.

Our garage door springs was broken and after looking up different garage repair companies online, we decided to try Precision based on the positive reviews we read. After our experience today with Chris C, I can confirm that the reviews are spot on!I called the office at 8:30 am and was given a 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm appointment window. Right at 1:30 pm, Chris gave courtesy to call to say that hell be here by 2 pm. He was on-time, polite and friendly. He found the problem (broken springs) but also thoroughly checked the rest of the mechanism and recommended that we replace the rollers to the nylon rollers. I do want to point out that he was never pushy to us, at all. In fact, originally we decided to only replace the springs to which he responded okay and to give him one to two hours to complete the work. He continued to remain polite and courteous. After hes finished, he did a walk through, explained the charges in detail as well as the warranty that comes with it. We also very much appreciate the coupon he applied to make us a repeat customer.I know having unexpected broken garage door is no fun but we really appreciate Chris help to make it least painful as possible. Bottom line, we are very satisfied with our first experience with Precision and will use them again in the future. Thank you Chris!
