I can’t say enough about this company…..they were a simple google find, and a great one, at that! We had a major garage door malfunction, and needed to completely replace two doors (because what else do we need to worry about, right??). I sent an inquiry email, and got a response within minutes, after hours; Paul responded to my emails within the hour each time. Then, David came out and made an honest, fair assessment. He figured out the most cost-effective way to fix our problem and didn’t try to upsell us once. He warned that there would be a 3 week wait for parts (thanks, COVID), and three weeks to the day later, I received a call that they were ready to install. The next morning, Taylor came out within the exact time frame they advised the day before, and worked non-stop until it was complete; he even finished some edges and did a couple adjustments here and there, well above and beyond what was required. And, obviously (or I wouldn’t be writing this right now), he did a fantastic job, and made sure we knew how to operate the doors and do the basic maintenance on them before he left. We couldn’t have asked for better service, and we truly appreciate the pain-free process!

We were referred by a friend after having a bad experience with a couple of other companies. General was polite on the phone and sent David the tech over to help us. He was the bomb! He was very polite and knowledgeable. We replaced the springs and it was done correctly and for a fair price.We own our own business and it is hard to find companies like General. We will use them again no matter what.

I called Monday morning to inquire about getting a new motor and tracks for our garage door. The woman I spoke with couldn’t have been any nicer and was very helpful, she was able to set up an appointment for me and even took the time to walk me through the steps to set up an app on my phone that I can use to open the garage! My appointment was at 8am that Friday and their technician was in my driveway at 7:58, he was very nice and left everything exactly how he found it! I couldn’t have been any happier with my experience with them! I would absolutely use them again and highly recommended General Garage Door!

I hate house stuff! But my tech made it a pleasant experience. He was fast and friendly and serviced my rattling garage and has it now gliding smooth as silk. He stabilized my sensor nicely in place and lubed all the joints. The price was fair and greatly appreciated!Thank you!

After numerous attempts to acquire a written quote and being promised its on the way or let me see where it is and get back to you. After waiting days for someone to show up to no avail. No response!Ive decided not to do business with General Garage door.BTW...this was not a small job.$9.000 to $10.000 plus, (gate openers) possibly more.Being a semi-retired contractor here in S.Florida for over 40plus yearsI find this company inept at best.

Very professional and fast service after your door is ordered. They did not have ours in stock but, when it came in they scheduled fast. They were very courteous and the office staff could not be nicer. I will recommend to others.

My door only breaks on a weekend or Holiday. These technicians show up every time and quickly. They work fast and well. Professional record keeping a great benefit in efficiency and customer relations. Strongly recommend.

I want to compliment General Garage Door on their service. I dont often offer reviews, but they were so great, I wanted to make sure I commended them. From the young woman that answered the phone to the 2 gentleman they sent out. They were professional and responsive. They gave an estimate of the job up front and performed the work within that estimate. (No surprises on additional charges.) They showed up exactly on time, and got right to work. After they completed the job, they demonstrated what they had done and what to watch out for in the future. I asked a question about a hurricane brace and Dave said no problem, he had one on the car and could install it in 5 minutes. In the days of declining customer service, they truly stand out!

Good company and quality products and installation. The install team ran into a few issues putting a new garage door into an older home but were able to come up with some creative solutions to fix the problem at not additional cost to me. Would highly recommend.
