I have dealt with Frank Car Stereo for many, many years with many different vehicles. Frank is good peeps and its always an enjoyable experience. His prices are competitive and the installation work in very good. This is my number one go-to shop when I need car stereo equipment and installs period. If youre looking for the chain store (ignore you) experience then this shop is not for you. If you are looking for a shop that looks after you, this is the place that you want to go. I recommend!

Good business and pricing

Been going to Franks electronics since he was located off Jog and near Forest Hill (2001). Frank is honest, had a good ear and will set you up with pretty much exactly what you want/need. His prices seem a bit high but its the quality of the product and installation your paying for. His install is top notch. Frank will sell you the very best product for your budget. Hes also a mild-mannered man with a true positive attitude.

Really was excited to come to this location . First time I went in I received the worst customer service . From what I see it wasn’t the owner but one of the front desk employees because he was on the phone with the owner at one point . I know nothing on speakers and etc and I informed him of that . Still he was very vague with me seemed bothered by me asking questions . I left so unsatisfied and still didn’t even get good information on the speakers . Really want to go back but the bad taste in my mouth is hard to get rid of so I can come back in

Stopped by for a new receiver for my truck. Wanted to put my old one in my sons car.Received great product recommendations, and honest, fair pricing. Once I made my purchase, both installations were fast and convenient to my schedule.Both Frank and his staff were courteous and professional throughout.Bottom line: my truck and my sons car sounds great!! Great experience. Will repeat next time Im looking for car audio. Will recommend to all my friends.

Very helpful and honest. I went in looking for a microphone for my radio and he told me I was better off buying the alpine microphone for my alpine radio, which he didnt sell because he is not an alpine dealer. He also gave me prices on everything I would need to wire in my new amp while I was there knowing I wouldnt be making my purchase that day. Great service and the prices were reasonable. I will definitely be going back when its time to wire in my new amp. Great honest service.

STAY AWAY!!!!!!! $300 quote was for my boss radio and a license plate camera to be installed, Frank gave me a quote after seeing the equipment. Going to my appointment today turns out cant install camera and most importantly steering wheel controls cannot be connected to the boss radio which is a very big deal with someone who doesnt have full use of his right hand. He saw the equipment when I went there for a quote a few weeks prior!! Now I have to pay for their time even though they installed nothing for me!!!!!!! AND BROKE MY STEERING WHEEL CONTROLS WHICH WORKED FINE WHEN I DROPPED OFF THE TRUCK!!!!!!! Now a person who doesnt have full use of his right hand doesnt even have the 1 of the main reasons he bought his truck!!!!!!! BROKE MY TRUCK !!!!!!!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!!!!

I had the worst experience!He took off old tint and applied new. Didnt tell me that my rear window defogger would never work again. Never gave me the option to back out or get a second opinion. He explained that people in Florida dont use defoggers any more. To accommodate me he told me if I got another service he would give me a discount. Frank will yes you to death and kill you with kindness but will not stand behind his service. The atmosphere is dull and old ; not appealing at all. Extremely high prices. Good advise go some place else!

I selected Franks because it was fourth in a list of top ten auto electronics dealers in WPB to replace my ancient GPS with a modern one.Frank proposed a top-of-the-line Kenwood and a necessary climate control panel, backup camera, and SiriusXM receiver. The price was fair, and they knowledgeably answered all my questions.Wherever you go, show the proposed equipment list to a couple of people. Make them tune the quote until it’s exactly right.All was done as promised. The installation looked and worked great, but problems inevitably arose. First, they fixed my trunk lock with a small adjustment.A big problem arose when the climate control AC panel pushed cold air on the driver’s side and hot on the passenger’s side. That’s my wife’s side, and she was not happy!I called, and they took immediate ownership. They were very nice about it. No pushback whatever. Even so, this is when you start to wonder how deep their technical bench is.I left the car with them for two days. In the end, they replaced the Metra 99-7803G climate control panel with a much nicer PAC RPK4-HD1101, whose wiring harness is better designed for dual climate control in my 2007 Accord. No charge.They fixed a couple of post-installation glitches on the spot.Whoever you choose, don’t leave until you are satisfied that all is correct. It’s the nature of the beast that subtle glitches may take weeks to show. Then you need someone like Frank.Big thanks go to Frank and his crew for being the stand-up professionals they are. Frank, Nic, Jake, Joshua – you are the best!

I went to see Frank to have my rear view camera wiring installed on my Dodge Ram which I had already installed the camera in the tail gate they just had to run the wiring to make it to easy for them. I was there for a couple of hours after a while Frank tells me the camera I bought is no good it as white lines in it . He quoted me on a camera that he sells . I told him I would be back he’s like ok I’ll have my guy put your truck back together . I noticed it was taking a while to put back together when I went back there my truck was just sitting and the guy that was working left because Frank sent him somewhere. So come to find out there is nothing wrong with my camera the tech installed the wires wrong and also broke my clip on my rear tail light and cracked the installation kit on my radio. And Frank collected $45.00 to put towards the camera that I was going to come back and install. I Finally did go back and talk to Frank about it and he told me that he was going to look into it and call me back 3 months later still no phone call.

Fixed me up after a horrible installation all within 3 hours.Quality parts and great employees,system is on point now.will definitely be going back.bad thing is now my Neighbors dont like me..lol...

Dont understand how Frank doesnt have 5 stars. Have been going to him for years and Ive sent many friends his way. I shorted a head unit several times due to my own error and Frank still backed his warranty and got me not one, but two new units. His prices are reasonable however its his customer service that keeps me coming back.

If I can Ill gave this place 0 star the worse place you can take your car for audio, the crash my car they brake my OG speakers I bring my car back more than 5 times and wait there for over 8 hours each time to install a radio and 4 speakers a one day job take this guys 5 days and still didnt get it right, I tucked to another place and they fixed in one hour, never take your car to Frank audio

Was looking online for a Sundown Audio dealer and this place showed up after driving by this place and looking at their website they definitely do not care about promoting good business. I would no way in hell let them work on my car after reading these horrible reviews.Owner does not even respond to messages and whoever answers their phone is rude as hell. No thank you.

Stay away. Worst installers in the industry. Installer was practically learning on the job. Had to take it multiple time to get it resolved. Frank does not care and is greedy. Worst experience and the job was not even done right. I could have done a better job.

I have been going to Franks Electronics for about 12 years. He has always been fair and honest with pricing and is a very personable guy. I have all Jl Audio equipment that was originally purchased from and installed by Franks. I recently had them reinstall my subs and amps, taken out of my Toyota Tundra that they did the original install on, and put into my new 4Runner. They said it would take two hours, but due to it being a difficult install, it took 6+ hours. It was a minor inconvenience to wait longer than estimated, and I was worried that I was going to be hit with a $4-500 difference for the install time miscalculation (90 dollars an hour X 6.5 hours) charge instead of the 2 hours quoted. Many audio shops would have tried to hold me financially accountable and hit me with upcharges for a poor estimation of install time due to misunderstanding of the level of effort involved with disassembly time of the 4Runner. Frank didnt try to pull that on me and I have nothing but respect for him and the two installers that he had work on my car. They did an amazing job and, when they were done, my vehicle was returned to me cleaned and everything worked amazing. You have earned a lifelong customer my friend. Thanks.

Worst experience ever! I went to Franks to have a subwoofer and amp installed and he ended up breaking my convertible top. I had it down on the drive over and put it up right before handing over my keys. After the work was done and still at Franks I went to listen to it with the top down and nothing. There was no power to my roof. He had his guy look at it and said it was nothing they did. What a load of c#@p. The bill has come to $3200 all because of a loose ground and the subsequent frying of my motor. He still wont man up and give it to his insurance si I had to use mine (who is suing him). This place is a joke, oh and he botched the amp install as well. STAY AWAY!!!

Frank Electronics did a really good with the car stereo installation. They were affordable, friendly and very professional. Would recommend if your needing a car stereo installed.

Very friendly staff, trade-ins available for amplifiers (old school WORKING amps) how priced hourly rate for work. They refer customers to other shops for specialty services; try to find many businesses like that. My quote was written down, put in the computer and accurate; support your small local businesses and stop trashing them.

10 oclock appointment to get 15s put in a box hook up a power cap and amp to speakers, arrived came out looked at car took keys and then sat in the waiting area for 3 an half hours as I was waiting a guy came in with a radio he just brought from them night before and the radio installer clamed thats the the radio that supposed to be in that box the customer argued thats wat u gave me I just bought this from u yesterday and I never opened the box they went back and forth and I thought it was a customer trying to get over on Franks car audio but as I sat there longer and watched and then as my car finally got brought inside the i got attitude from the installer and my car then sat another 45 mins in the shop with out nothing being done to my car but pop the trunk and then tell me my radio is messed up I need this 80$ part the keep my radio working they told me I could pay for 2 hours (90$ hour) but they cant garuntee everything will be working so pay 180$ plus parts to not even no if my sound system is gunna be working wen I leave an I dont believe I needed the part behind my radio and when I switch songs my speakers suck in and the pass bams like 4-5 times between each song or wen u take a CD out and its loading it will make the bam bam sound till sound comes on but its my speakers sucking in which isnt good which at the end wen I was leaving I realized that customer was probably telling the truth about buying a radio and its and older, used version not the new, brand new one he thought he was paying for Frank the owner was a nice guy very respectful and seemed like he wanted to make things right but a big problem as well was between 3 guys working there they dont communicate I told all three wat I needed done several time and like every 45 mins ID get asked just to keep me strung along cuz I was upset I was still sitting there at 1:45 and my car hasnt been touched no one was in front of me theres two shop spots two installers and Im the only car till bout 11:30 then a car came and they took his car in and finished it before mine and I had a 10am appointment. They need to communicate more and get more organized or something so if u have a 10am appointment u get them in shop and start working in there car at latest an hour after the appointment thats the point of appointments and in my case I was first appointment and no one was there and I waited 3 1/2 hours I couldnt imagine. And all said and done my radios not fixed like they said it would be if I buy this part from them and my right front door speaker cuts in n outNOT HAPPY AT ALL !!

Poor installation lead to extream audio problems . Audio jack connection at head lead to severe noise.. unusable $2800 system. In their favor they replaced speaker and amp trying to fix problem. I found a barely connected jack going to head unit.

Been goin to Franks since 2005. First ones to customize my 15inch tft Tview screen in frnt dash. Was never done b4 but they made it happen instead of turning me around. Got job done w/warrantees in decent amount of time and discounts. Been a loyal customer ever since. And to everyone that has complaints abt dis and dat esp wen it comes to prices jus remember, yu get wat yu pay for. Frank jus recently ordered some mids & highs mmats door speakers for me $700 sumem odd dollars and i can guarantee you tht you will NOT find NO othr car stereo shop with with better prices for mmat.
