Had a check engine light come on in my 96 xj. Due to my work schedule I didnt have time to dig around and find the problem myself like I usually did before covid. I found JeepFix and gave them a call, and o boy was I lucky I found them. Regardless of the bad reviews I gave them a shot and will be forever grateful I did.The first person on the phone I talked to was Mike I told him my problem and that this was my only some what working vehicle, and he said to bring it in and he would take a look at it really quickly and help fix the problem. When I got there It was around lunch so the team had gone to eat but the young lady in the office was quick to see what she could do to help get us taken care of while the others were at lunch.After everyone was back from lunch and the young lady had got the code of my obd ll we found out it was a sensor that was bad after a few wrong sensors were brought in from orielly they figured out the right one and got it right in and squared me away with coolent and made sure I was good to go.As someone who loves their car dearly and the memories with it; it really makes me feel good to be able to find a shop and a team that loves them as much as I do. I loved talking Jeep with Mike and his team they will forever have me as a repeat customer. I also sport their logo on my XJ and will recommend them to all my Jeep family far and wide💕

Mike at Jeep fix was great! We took the Jeep in for a front drive shaft fix and Mike and his team went above and beyond! We had a few issues with alignment after the install (not his fault, it was the alignment shop) and Mike helped to make sure everything was fixed. He even handed out free tips and advice for how I can keep up on my regular maintenance so that I won’t have costly repairs in the future.Although the shop is busy they worked quickly to get the repairs completed. I can’t recommend Jeep Fix enough. This is a great shop.

Went here to get my locker in the rear diff fixed along with the AC, now to be clear, their techs are really good at what they do and Bailey the receptionist is very kind, but the communication just to get updates in a timely manner with Mike was kind of a headache at times.

Hands down the best mechanics out there. I took in a 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee Ive been fixing up. It was in pretty rough shape with a severe death wobble that was so bad it was literally breaking components of the vehicle and making it undrivable. Multiple people told me it would never go away and that I was stuck with it. Yet Mike and his team assured me that they would take care of it, and he delivered. No more death wobble! And we even stayed under budget on the project which was awesome! Took My Truck in for a new Clutch. After Jeep Fix started the repairs and advised me parts were reused and it was more than likely the reason I had to have the Clutch serviced 3 previous time with the Dodge Dealership. Jeep fix called me each step of the way advising me of reused worn parts and discounted the parts and labor. Mike told me twice that my Jeep was ready I drove from vernal both times to find it wasn’t ready! I gave him one more week still not done gave him another week still not over and over I am now at 5 weeks past when he said he would have it. I dropped of my Jeep in November he told me he would be done in February it is now August 19 and it is still there and to boot I have been calling him for 2 weeks now and he won’t answer god know if he will ever finish I betting I have to go get it and take it elsewhere worst service I have ever heard off let alone experienced first hand go elsewhere or deal with the scam of Jeep fix

I found headlights on KSL and started contact to purchase them, asked a couple of simple questions which the person answered. Not knowing it was a business or an individual, no description of item on the ad let alone any business info. Asked a few simple questions, which they answered, when I asked for a time that worked for them, they replied M-F 9-7, so I said “address”. They replied Google Jeep fix. They couldn’t even give me the curtesy to text me their business address. Short answers like I’m bothering them. You say google it??? Way to have customer service, what a knob. I passed on the headlights and bought them elsewhere later that day. Jokes on them. I have a Jeep that needs lots of parts, Spent thousands so far and not finished, we could have spent a lot of money there, but I will now never buy anything from Jeep Fix. Who ever runs their KSL ads should Google customers service, or list your business info in the ad.

100% Tip Top! Hands Down, the best Jeep Shop in Utah! They fixed my Jeep very professionally, and I was immensely pleased (they explained exactly what were the issues, told me what they would do, and delivered exactly what they promised to they would do. I would highly recommend them (they spent real time to fix my baby). They also, took me in my jeep, onto the mountain, and showed what fix, was relevant, and why they did a specific fix. Again, very satisfied with their detailed attentions to the vehicle. The job was extensive, took a little while, but the wait is definitely worth it!

Took my 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee to get opinion on 2 Leveling kit i was about to buy. As i wanted to make it an On-road/Off-road vehicle, the owner went the extra mile to explain to me In-depth about the different Off-road rating on a jeep and the changes that i have to make to achieve the end goal. He suggested quality products and even took a day to actually call people around to get me the best price on products. I will definitely be taking my jeep back there for all my future mods. Glad i was able to find a honest and quality jeep mechanic.

Fantastic service! Great communication. Mike gave me frequent updates and explanations of what was going on and how my Jeep was progressing. They were very clear on why they wanted to do what they needed to do, and gave me options. Then when I went to pick up the Jeep, Mike personally took me on a test drive and walked me through everything they did. I was throughly impressed. Very personable and trustworthy. Definitely became a lifetime customer.

Mike is AMAZING!! I had to drop my jeep off before they closed and was running a little late and he was willing to wait for me to lock up my car. He is also SUPER informative and helps you understand what you are paying for and why. I happened to have a transmission with 8-9 speed that required a much more expensive oil and he goes into great detail so that i dont feel like im getting ripped off & goes above and beyond to make sure im in the know of anything I need to look out for in the future.

I have a 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee limited with 465,000 miles on it, and the guys did an amazing job giving it a full restore! I cant believe a car with this many miles can drive so well. Theyve put a spring in the step on my tired old Jeep.

UPDATE - IN SHORT< A COMPLETE WASTE OF $100. Took 3 days to look at my vehicle when I was told 1 day and I still had to pay. Not to mention, I STILL HAVE NOT HEARD BACK FROM THEM at all in regards to repairing my vehicle. Mike talks a lot about what he will and or can do but lacks majorly in the organization of his business. I originally asked when to drop off my vehicle for an appointment and was told to come in on a Tuesday. Brought it in that morning and I didnt get an answer back for a quote until Friday morning. I had to call Mike multiple times to follow up on the care of my vehicle and never got an answer until i continued to push. I went in Friday to pick up the care as I needed to drive it for my DD and Mike told me he would update me over the weekend as far as getting parts for a repair. I havent heard from him in two weeks now and have resulted to repairing my vehicle at a different location that had fast and friendly service. I wont mention name here but read my other reviews. So the lack of communication from Mike and his team is terrible. Dont expect fast efficient service, or any service for that matter. I paid the hundred dollar fee for checking my vehicle if they really even did it i dont know since i had to continually push for a quote over three days to get a answer. In all honestly, I SHOULDVE SAVED MY $100 DOLLARS (AS A MED STUDENT, AND I SHOULD HAVE CHARGED HIM FOR THE CONSULTATION ON MEDICATIONS HE ASKED, OF WHICH, I ANSWERED PROMPTLY AND DIDNT MAKE HIM WAIT 72 HOURS FOR) for him to hold my vehicle for three days without looking at it up until Thursday night, and honestly, any real mechanic would not have charged me considering how long the check took and his empty promise to get it done in one dayAgain, coordinate not having a vehicle for 3 days for just a quote. second, plan on still paying for that quote eve if promised it would be quoted in a day. finally expect to not hear back from them on a promised call back regarding repair.I have receipt and notifications from drop off as well as the quote and call history to prove my persistence in trying to get this done and them not following through as proof of non libelous comments.

JeepFix is great. I called multiple mechanics in the area and the people at JeepFix were very upfront about their charges and transparent about what needed to be done and also what could wait. When my car was ready I met the mechanic who did the work and I was shown the parts that were worn. I asked on the bill and the owner of JeepFix explained the entire invoice. Finally, a legit mechanic.

Mike and his crew were life savers, and went above and beyond to diagnose and fix my Jeep, as I rolled up with an overheating engine on a Saturday morning. Without them, I wouldnt have made the trip back to South Dakota from CA. I highly recommend JeepFix if youre looking for honest and quality work, from genuinely kind people.

They used scare tactics to try and get me to rush in and pay them as quickly as possible. The job they wanted to do was twice the price of anywhere else. 1500 dollars compared to 750 at a different mechanic shop. They told me my car was screwed and not safe to run even though I ran it strong for three months until I could get it fixed at a better place.

Mike at JeepFix has repaired two of my cars now....I will go no where else.!!! My Grand Cherokee had been repaired at another jeep shop...they sucked. Mike got it, and fixed it right. Then I dropped off my HHR and he was able to properly repair that as well....and what he had to replace was a pain in the ass....but he rocked it out. Seriously...I will not take my Jeeps or other cars anywhere else. Honest, legit knowledge, No B.S., easy to contact, and one hell of a nice guy.

Mike is great to work with. I was resigned to replace an expensive part, but he was able to track down just the component which failed and saved me $$$. I will take my other Jeeps to him. He also works on other makes and models. Priced reasonable and great service.

Recently called Mike at JeepFix to drain AT fluid, remove the transmission pan, and replace the AT filter. I typically do most fluid drain and refills on my own, but the transmission pan on the Yukon XL is difficult to remove and I knew Mike would be able to complete the job at a reasonable price. I called Mike late one afternoon on a holiday weekend and he returned my call within a few hours. Mike advised that I could drop my vehicle off at his shop after hours, which I did, and he would take care of it the next day. Previous to this event, I had called Mike a few months before regarding a separate vehicle and he offered some valuable advice that I was able to use in repairing my AC compressor, AC drier, AC condenser, and fuel filter. Also, after picking up my Yukon XL this afternoon, I had mentioned I had recently replaced the belts and offered some additional advice regarding the idler pulley. Mike offers great service and I find him to be very trustworthy. I wouldnt hesitate to call on Mike again.

Terrific! Knowledgeable, fair, and friendly. They corrected the lift that had been poorly installed by the chain store guys. Then they diagnosed and fixed my death wobble which the chain store had misdiagnosed. Bottom line: This is where you should take your jeep.

Not quite sure where to start this review, but Mike literally saved me from getting rid of a Jeep that could be fixed. My Jeep recently quit running, and I had it towed to another shop that was closer to my house, and a friend of mine owns. After checking out my Jeep, my friend informed me that the Jeep needed a new engine. Something bad internally was going on, and the only real solution was to not mess with and either sell the Jeep for parts, or put in a new engine with warranty at a tune of approximately $7K I listed my beloved Jeep for sale online for parts, but then remembered that Mike had helped me out before and so before totally giving up on my Jeep, I had it towed over to Jeep Fix for Mike to have a look. Long story short, Mike ended up diagnosing the issue and believed he could actually fix it, saving the Jeep from being scrapped. Mike dug into it, fixed the Jeep and it is running better now than it ever has. Mike not only saved my Jeep, but he saved me the cost of purchasing a new vehicle. Generally pleased with their work on my 1987 Jeep in March 2017. I would recommend them to others and return if I needed more Jeep work in SLC.Full story: I had a short in the starting circuitry that was intermittently preventing start. Difficult to find because a lot of wires, relays and circuits are in the starting path, but they isolated it to a specific wire. For reasons I still do not fully understand they tried but were not able to completely fix that wire and the exact problem returned 2 hours after I paid and left. I give them credit, however for correctly isolating the subject wire and instructing me on how to overcome the problem if it returned, which I successfully did.In the same visit they also successfully replaced my inoperative blower and associated resistor, and that has worked fine ever since, and they gave some advice on the car and topped off motor oil.Price seemed a _little_ high given they did not actually fix the primary problem, but I was very glad to have it accurately diagnosed and generally pleased with my treatment.

This place used to be our favorite Jeep place until this summer. We left our Jeep with Mike and was told we would have it back after 2 weeks. However after 2 weeks he went silent on us and no matter how we tried to contact him we didn’t get a response. My husband went out there 57 days after we dropped the Jeep off only to find out none of the work had been done. It wasn’t until we threatened to take legal action did we actually get someone to fix enough of the Jeep to drive off his lot. The most frustrating piece of this whole thing is we were long time customers of Mike and he couldn’t even apologize for his behavior. We will never go back to him.

Mike diagnosed and fixed my Lincoln Navigator (same platform as Ford Expedition) after 4 other mechanics, including the Ford Lincoln dealer, couldnt replicate or diagnose. I really appreciated how he communicated things and took the time to test drive the vehicle with me after the work was all done.
