I really loved this little chocolate shoppe. The decor with all the gold accents just makes you feel like youre in an old school candy store. Although Im not really a chocolate person, I got 3 types of fudge to share with the family as a reminder of our trip- cookies and cream, raspberry swirl and peanut butter. I honestly have never had fudge this delicious! Now that Im back home, 3 hours away, and were down to the last nibbles of fudge, Im sad I didnt get more. Im hoping to find that I can buy online! 🤞🏻

My first time buying chocolate with Alcohol in them. I will tell you, the price was worth all 9 pieces! These are my new favorite chocolates! Chocolate covered cherries with I believe raspberry rum. Oh my!The help was very informative, helpful at making a selection and I will definitely be going back in the future.The environment was as it had its own vintage, classic feel but a bit magical as well. Steping inside almost felt you where stepping into something enchanting.Thank you, for assisting me and providing me with the service you had given.

There is nothing like Stam in Des Moines. The chocolates and gelato are amazing. The Europa blend coffee is the best Ive ever brewed.

Never heard of this place before, phenomenal chocolate. The experience was great the woman behind the counter was super helpful and the take home flyers made for easy distinction. Wonderful Chocolate though. Will definitely be back. Better than Godiva if you can believe that. Better.

Amazing chocolates of all kinds, in all shapes. I absolutely love all the wonderful options at Stam. The chocolate is to die for and the shapes are the cutest. Even as a Gluten Free person with Celiac, I have never had an issue here and have a ton of variety of options. The staff at the Valley West location has been really knowledgeable and helpful about what does and does have gluten. Can’t recommend Stam enough!

I love this place and always try to stop for a single scoop of gelato after dinner when Im in town!Update: We just moved to Urbandale from Fargo, ND, so now it is much more convenient to stop by almost anytime. Stopped by today for a bowl of gelato and some dark chocolate...delicious! Dark chocolate sea salt caramel is my favorite, but also tried a couple of others based off of the friendly workers recommendations. I ALWAYS enjoy going in here (and not just because Im a huge fan of chocolate!)! The service is OUTSTANDING and theres always a GREAT variety of items to choose from! Its always TOO hard to choose what to get! DEFINETLY a great place to shop!!

I want to give this place a five; its a cute little place.Id heard they had the hot chocolate. So, had to try it.It was burned. In a way I didnt know you could burn hot chocolate. It was so hot fifteen minutes after we got it: it would still burn your mouth badly.We ended up in blaze pizza taking the lids off and fanning them.Maybe theyre great normally. Idk. But, wasnt drinkable and ended up thrown away. The lady seemed new, couldnt really find anything, couldnt figure out how to scan, enter products, or differentiate plus or minus. She pressed plus over and over to subtract drinks. Im not sure how 3+1+1+1=2.Normally Id just go in and explain and hope for a redo. But, I dont want to even repeat that experience up to getting the burnt drinks.

The chocolate is ok (not worth the high price though. The coffee not so much. No coffee flavor, tasted like water even though there was milk and vanilla flavoring as well. All in all it was a disappointing. We did not drink the coffee.

If you dont get a chocolate when you visit Valley West Mall, you really are missing out! Love giving chocolate gifts, and their coffee is delicious. Try a Complete. You pick a chocolate and a cup of rich and heavenly coffee. Youre welcome!

Best chocolates Ive ever tasted! I wish we werent from out of town, we just stopped here on a whim. I loved the creamy hazelnut. The texture and flavor are EXACTLY how chocolate should taste. Id definitely consider ordering online!

Amazing confections, terrible service. Every time I have visited this store recently, I have stood around waiting to be helped without being greeted. Typically, an associate will finish helping a customer and move on to helping someone who came in after me. Theres no, whos next?, Or any typical best practice of busy sales associates. Today, I waited patiently for 5 minutes for an associate to finish her conversation with a guest who was done checking out. When that customer finally left, I stepped up to the counter and stated what I wanted. The associate walked back and leaned against a wall and began a conversation with a co-worker as if I was not there. I left without purchasing anything. I doubt Ill be back.

Reasonable prices for the chocolate experience. Bonbons come in white milk and dark chocolate. Each flavor is molded in a unique shape. For example, the dark chocolate cream is molded to look like a hedgehog. They serve excellent gelato.I was told that theres over a hundred flavors, but the bin will not hold them all at one time. Thus there is a daily rotation

The young man working was super nice with my daughter, and the gelato was excellent. Lovely atmosphere to sit and enjoy it as well. We didnt try any of the chocolate, but it all looked great so we will try some in the future.

I make a special trip to this mall just for Stam. The shop is adorable and the chocolate is out of this world - theres so many different types to pick from. The gelato counter is my favorite though. I love their lemon sorbetto.

The kikkers are an absolute favorite. Super friendly and helpful staff. Delicious chocolates and a nice selections of decadent gelato. They also serve coffee drinks and smoothies and have a few tables to sit at and enjoy your treats.

They make excellent chocolate and always have interesting seasonal figures and some really delicious flavors. Also, their gelato is very good.
