Enjoyed this place before but this time HOLY BUCKETS!! We dont usually go places like this with the kids but since it was closing figured this would be their last chance so why not? Everything was 70% off which was AWESOME! For the big kid and the little kids. Not sure who was more excited: son got lots of Lightning McQueen memorabilia, daughter walked out with so much new 🦄 stuff I couldnt believe it & husband was super excited that for once I didnt monitor how much Batman stuff he put on the counter. Got a coloring book for myself and still walked out without breaking $100. Sad to see them go but glad we had the chance for everyone to shop like money was not a concern for a change.

Great selection, everything you could hope for in a candy store. The prices are a little much. But I love the creativity in selection. Clean store and nice staff.

1.99 Got all the goods half price at Walgreens and even they are high. Good luck. Hard to find candy at high prices.

If youre not attracted by the colors, surely your sweet tooth will guide you to something fun or new or nostalgic here. Maybe a novelty gift or snarky wall plaque will catch your eye. My only complaint is that the gummy pigs taste like.....strawberries! Shouldabeen bacon. ;-)

OMG I love this candy store!! They have everything imaginable regarding candy, whether its popular candy from the 50s or now. They have very unique candy items, like a giant gummy bear, edible board games you can eat after playing, etc... I love this place, especially for stocking stuffers or gifts in general! You can purchase candy by the oz. or pound, which I love ( especially for my favorite- chocolate covered gummy bears!♡). Sounds odd, but try it first! I dont even like gummy bears, but these are so yummy. Also has cute gifts, etc..

Great place to find candy you cant get anywhere else in Des Moines. You can even find some of the weirdest candy I have ever seen. They also have a nice selection of hard to find soda and other drinks. With only one or two people on duty at once it hinders their customer service, not the employees fault.

Great store to find any candy. Was going to buy a Sarsaparilla & the cashier said may I recommend the Boylan Bottling Creamy Red Birch Beer. It was amazing

Candy from my childhood and more. The cashier, which I think she was the manager, was so kind yo me and other customers in the store. She was awesome

This is one of my absolute favorite stores that Ive ever been to. Great products from fun soda, crazy or (what you thought was extinct) candy, cool toys, games, and specialty products. I always have to make a purchase when I visit. I love this place!

Worst place. There was NO SIGN that they were CLOSING EARLY! The owner wouldn’t even let my 18 month old daughter and my husband into the store because they were “about to close” even though my son and I were in there with 5 other customers! My poor baby girl had to wait outside the glass plaintively looking in. Not to mention the fact that she rushed my son and even threatened to not let us purchase candy since it was past 5 pm!! No wonder they’re losing business I can’t wait until they’re shut down by lolli & pops over at Jordan creek mall. Literally the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in my life. They’re so rude and the worst business. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Went in the people are rude as hell never once said hello walked around the whole store the workers looked at us about 6 times and kept talking to each other. I will not spend a dime there no matter how nice and how many choices you have bad customer service means do not spend your hard earned money there!!!!
