Very nice and cozy little coffee shop in this cute little mountain town. Coffee was excellent, so we bought some. This shop was rated number 4 in the country; thats why we made it a stop on our cross-country trip, and I highly recommend you do as well.

This is a great place! Very comfortable to sit and listen to the music playing. The barristas here are true professionals. Not only are the drinks gourmet but the presentation is it of this world!

Such an adorable and delicious coffee shop! We stopped in while we were traveling through town from Florida and it was recommended by Google for being similar to our favorite shop in Tampa. It did not disappoint! I ordered the Ethiopian pour-over and it was divine. With beans roasted locally ( to perfection), the coffee was delicious, smooth and extremely satisfying. Be sure to stop in to this gem!

Absolutely love this place. They’re quick but consistent and to a high standard. Pricing is on par with Starbucks but the coffee is leaps and bounds ahead of large corporate bitter coffee. The staff is incredibly friendly and I have yet to find a coffee they’ve made that I don’t enjoy. The atmosphere is perfect for studying and they have plenty of seating. If you’re in the area do yourself a favor and check them out. 5 out of 5 stars hands down.

I have been so excited to try this place after hearing so much about it! It was delicious! I wish I had tried it earlier!! I had strawberry toast, which was cream cheese on sourdough with strawberries, blueberries, honey and basil. SO GOOD! The Vanilla Latte was also perfection. Very friendly atmosphere. Cant wait to go back.

The espresso is okay not great. Only one alternative milk (oat), only one size of coffee/espresso drinks, and super-hot to them meant barely warm. Ended up throwing most of it away. Nothing else to attract you to this place.

Orchard Coffee is a hidden gem in a quaint small town. We are so lucky to have the Orchard family to visit when we are here. They are all so sweet and welcoming and the baking department gets 5 stars on its own. Whether you choose to start your day with a honey cinnamon latte (with fresh syrup), a homemade pop tart or an avocado toast...you won’t be disappointed. Their roasted coffee is a great gift for a loved one - if only they shipped! We love this place and so will you!

This is the one. If youre in the area, visiting, living, passing through - this is the coffee shop you need to go to. Breakfast here was delicious (and it was a *real* breakfast not just muffins), the staff was so genuinely kind and attentive, drinks were made skillfully and quickly, atmosphere is a calm bustle, everything was amazing! I’ve been able to enjoy great coffee in great shops around the globe and Orchard sits high on the list of my all time favorites. I’ve never once had a bad experience there. The coffee quality is on point, the food is delicious and the customer service is excellent. Highly recommend.

Though it’s been a little bit since I’ve been because of Corona, I absolutely adore Orchard. It is so rare to find a genuinely cool coffee shop that makes you feel welcome even if you don’t know the ins and outs of coffee. This family owned business is one of the best additions to the Waynesville community.

I do school from home so to have a separate place to relax and get my caffeine fix is such a blessing during these hard times. Despite amazing coffees and teas what I come here for is the amazing environment and employees. To walk into a space with smiling and welcoming faces can make your day no matter what your situation is. I have had the pleasure so get to know the owners and through doing so I have realized how important it is to support our local businesses, even if you are not local. This coffee shop is something I recommend everyone to attend. Amazing coffee from around the world Is provided in a aesthetic and relaxing environment. Consistently the best coffee Ive had. Not only is the espresso amazing, the milk texture is PERFECT!! No other coffee shop can do this. The space is beautiful and the owner and barista Cabell is super welcoming and awesome!!!! The only coffeehouse you should be looking at in Waynesville. Orchard features specialty roasts, and uses high-end equipment for their espresso bar that I have dealt with before. They offer pourovers too, something that I love. The baristas here are well-trained and very friendly. The atmosphere is clean and modern, with a local charm. I am an experienced barista who likes to visit the area, but I usually miss coffee from home. Not anymore! Thank you, Orchard!

Fantastic people, amazing coffee/drinks, and outrageous pastries. There’s even an amazing public parking lot a block away if you can’t get street parking. I can’t even think of other boxes that would need checked! I love the iced teas for when I’ve already had too much coffee.

Decent coffee but pricey for food. A regular breakfast sandwich is almost $9. They had fresh baked cookies and scones which were nice, but again, a little on the pricey side. Higher end coffee.

Super friendly staff, and very good coffee. The homemade honey cinnamon syrup added a perfectly smooth fall flavor that quickly became one of my favorites. I would say this is one of the top 5 coffee shops in this area!

We stopped here dangerously close to their closing time (sorry!) to grab some coffee for our drive back to Raleigh. Despite this, everyone was very friendly. The coffee was DELICIOUS and we cant wait to go back when we are in the area again.

We were visiting the area for a few days and went to Orchard for a Cappuccinos. They were Terrific!!! Thank Orchard for making a cappuccinos correctly! I will admit I am very particular about my coffee, so finding a place that makes it correctly is very rare! And Orchard does it correctly!! So many places think a Cappuccino is to fill the cup with a ton of milk because the cup needs to be full...in other words, you get a warm cup of milk with maybe some coffee flavor. Orchard does NOT do this. They created the Cappuccinos correctly with great coffee and the correct proportions!We tried their scones and they were great too!I was also impressed that recognized us on the following day visits. And the coffee was great each day! (so it wasnt just finding one barista that knows how to make the coffee right!)We will definitely return here next time we are in the Waynesville area.

Don’t miss this cute coffee shop with the nicest owners and gourmet coffee. The espresso had a delicious after taste, the owner said it was a Costa Rican bean. His mom is at the register and is adorable and sweet too and the designs with the cream are superb. Delicious hot chocolate too. Great positive vibe in here. Modern minimalist decor. Loved it!

This family owned business is one of the best I’ve seen in years. They comply with the local & state regulations and still are compassionate towards their customers who seem to be more like family. We are visiting from Orlando, FL and was looking for a small home town breakfast located in the historical Waynesville downtown area & this is it. Also visit their sister coffee cafe called White Moon in Sylvia, NC. Also excellent 👍

When I moved to this lovely small town, I dreamed of being a regular somewhere, chatting it up with the owner, having that quintessential small town experience. Orchard has become that place for me! Cabel and the whole team are so kind and welcoming, the coffee is delightful, and the shop is beautiful. I can’t recommend Orchard highly enough! The Americanos and lattes here were amazing! The shop itself had a very relaxed and chill vibe. It was not that difficult to find parking as well. Cabell was very kind, knowledgeable, and funny! He was very easy to talk with and it was nice to chat with him about his roasting ritual and his coffee beans. Everyone else there was very kind and efficient. I was also able to pick up some freshly roasted beans the day I was headed out of town and am so happy that I did! I will be sure to visit here again the next time I find myself in Waynesville!

My americano tasted excellent, and my wifes dirty chai was great. Its a small coffee shop—trendy and charming. The staff are very friendly and quick with orders. And the shop is right downtown, so you can enjoy sitting inside or stroll through downtown Waynesville with your cup. A fantastic choice!
