I was visiting a friend in Waukegan and ended up going to Cano Auto Parts with him since he needed a new battery and I was very impressed by this store. Great customer service, good prices, and a good selection. I found out they have another store on Pulaski just north of Elston in Chicago and I plan on going there next week.

Burned down & leveled, not rebuilt. __ Living a mere 5 blocks away, I had the opportunity to stop at Cano Auto Parts before it was LEVELED from an above apartment FIRE.==> Oddly, I sent Google this info with a URL of the news report AS PROOF. And Google leaves Cano in business at that location!Folks, this is the moronic situation at Google. Theyre incapable of believing info that is not from their own employees. I sent a news URL, Goofle still refuses to update themselves. THEY DO EVIL!...Owner responded... GREAT THEYRE OPEN AGAIN!Sure would be nice to put up a sign on the old lot as to the new location. :)

Opens at 930 not 9 I mean 950 they are very irresponsible with a customers time other than waiting in the heat and being told wait 15 min every time I called it was a good company........so shoot for 10 or maybe 11

I ended up going to Cano Auto Parts on Grand Ave. in Waukegan with a friend of mine who lives close by simply because Ive been to their store in Chicago on Pulaski and Montrose and I was pretty sure this store would also have good customer service and good prices. It did.
